What would they do if they saw one of the bugs get into a physical fight with a hunter? (Yes, I'm talking about Warren, Sparky, and Tony) And would the bug fighting them win or lose? Do they have a scar that they're more sensitive/hesitant to talk about? Outside of their family, do they have a friend that they hold dearly, and is that friend still alive? Do they have a happy place they go to wind down? And lastly, would they ever go back to their home?

Just realised I never shared this omg

Meet the redesigned (and present-day) Jono! I realised I'd originally subconsciously coded him as Aboriginal in some little chunks of experimental writing I made of him and Memphis, and I wanted to make him explicitly so because a) NO SIMPSONS ABORIGINAL AUSTRALIAN CHARACTERS? NOT ONE? b) I thought him having ties to the Stolen Generation (on his mother's side) brought valuable depth to his character (and the Stolen Generation is also something I've wanted to explore a bit in my work) and c) I was already subconsciously writing him as Aboriginal and there's literally only one rough artwork of him made before all the development I gave him, so why go against my instincts for his character?

For context, this is only other appearance in a visual work, back when he was just a two-dimensional placeholder, haha.

1. Positive. Yanno how Gomez has a cheerful and positive disposition despite loving gothic and macabre stuff? Vega's like that. She probably resembles Gomez the most, now that i think about it. She's a peppy goth.

2. She doesn't usually initiate, but she's fine receiving it from family and close friends. She just stiffens and waits for it to be over when it comes to people she isn't close to, but might bite/scratch/threaten if she doesn't like the person touching her.

this is just me guilt posting because i think about this a lot and feel really bad about it but not everything i post about a subject came to me at the same time. What I mean is some of them are older asks and some of them are newer ones, I just post them as a group because there's so much I want to say on the subject but sometimes what I want to delve into relating to that subject would be a tangent of one post but the focus for another so I kinda post the multiple asks and own posts at the same time because I want to give the maximum amount of what can be said on it and my full attention and focus because it means a lot to me that you took time out of your day to send me something that you find interesting or have a question about and I want to reciprocate that to the full extent. This is also just me feeling guilty because I know i take an incredibly long time for some of them, and I'm so incredibly sorry and just thank you so much for your patience <33. Also because the asks come in at different times and I post them as one cohesive unit, I want to say that the asks aren't always influenced by each other. They are the writers' own thoughts and opinions and I want to give credit to that because they're brilliant.

And I also want to say that I love yall so, so much. It means more than the world to me that you guys chose to follow me, like my posts, reblog them, ask me how I'm doing, send me stuff you like...y'all are the light of my days. Thank you so much for being amazing and wonderful and kind and it makes me extremely happy to be here because you guys make it that way.

Hi thinking about my post-osnf au again, the same one I use in my fic Still Feel. Have some rambles. Spoilers for osnf finale (obv).

(And I guess spoilers for like,,,, tiiiiiny itty bitty details from opd? Nothing story/lore relevant but I thought I’d put it there in case people are trying to go into the next season completely blind, which I can respect. I’m the same way lol.)

Thiago survives destroying Santo Berço, but he’s gravely injured to the point where he’s not going to be well enough to travel for a while, and while no one in Equipe E wants to leave him alone, they need to report to Veríssimo ASAP. Thus, Liz hands over her investigation notes to the boys and stays in Carpazinha to once again sit vigil at Thiago’s bedside, and the boys (with Ivete) travel to São Paulo to meet with Veríssimo.

Time passes. Thiago, slowly, gets better. And though he’s finally well enough to travel back to São Paulo, he still needs support in his recovery. Plus, his apartment isn’t great for his condition, as it’s on the fourth floor and sometimes the elevator breaks down.

Liz, meanwhile, now lives in a two story house. One bedroom is used for her actual bedroom with her mother’s old bed (queen sized) that she sleeps in; the other she turned into her office. There is a room downstairs that’s intended to be an office, but she decided it was too small for her purposes and turned it into a storage/guest room where her old bed growing up (twin) is kept. That’s where Thiago ends up staying during his recovery. Eventually, he just moves in altogether.

Even once Thiago is able to traverse stairs with less difficulty and starts to share Liz’s bed (to help deal with his disorienting dreams of the Symbol, and simply because they want to), the spare bed downstairs is still used semi-frequently. Sometimes Thiago’s knees lock up or his pain is too much or his body gets too tired, and stairs are his worst nightmare. Sometimes the upstairs gets too hot for Liz to comfortably sleep, especially with another person in bed with her. (Or sometimes Thiago sees that Liz has overworked herself and doesn’t want to disturb her sleep in case he has a nightmare of the Symbol.) (Or sometimes Liz comes home having stayed out too late and drank too much and doesn’t want to deal with the stairs or Thiago’s scrutiny, or much less his concern.) Or sometimes one of them just needs some space.

Whatever the reason, the spare bedroom is always open for whoever needs it, whenever they need it, typically with no questions asked.

(Even Joui will crash on it sometimes. It often happens when he’s in the middle of or returning from a solo mission, like surveillance or an arrest. His go-to excuse is “I was tired and your place was closer,” and that’s true! Usually! Mostly! A good deal of the time! At least half! And it has nothing to do with the fact that his studio apartment is tiny and lonely—it’s practical for his purposes and also all he can afford right now—and that his fridge has no food in it! And he always cleans the bedsheets and the kitchen for them before he leaves, so it’s a good trade-off anyhow!)
