you thought the games were harmless—bright colors, cheerful instructions, and an unassuming entry form. yet underneath all that promised fun lay a rather horrifying truth. you were blinded, not by sight but by your own naivety. 

how could you be so dumb? you should've known this game was sketchy ever since from the start, where they somehow made you all unconcious to bring to this place. where even are you? 

life is full of shit, you were fully aware of that, but you didn't expect it to be this shitty. tears started to form in your eyes as you thought of your dog, sparks, who's the reason why you're here. you didn't have any owe anyone money, you don't drag yourself to shit like that. but sparks was the dog your grandmother left you before she died, and unfortunately, sparks was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure— he needed medical help. 

if someone can hear your thoughts right now, they'd probably laugh and tell you that it's just a dog, stop overreacting. but sparks wasn't just a dog. he grew up with you, he is family. he was the reason you kept going after your grandmother died, you could remember it—you locking yourself inside your room and not coming out for days, until you heard whines outside your door. shit, the dog. it annoyed you that you still needed to feed that dog. what's the point? he's gonna die anyways. just like everyone. 

a quiet sob escapes your mouth as your tears finally fall, from your eyes and onto the white sheets underneath you. you couldn't sleep, you were too bothered as to how so many people voted to stay in this game. you couldn't even even consider it a game, games were supposed to be fun. 

you voted to go home right after the first game, the staying team won. this night was after everyone voted for the second time, once again, the majority voted to stay. you find it funny— how money can have such an affect on people, but also at the same time, you couldn't blame the people who wanted to stay. maybe staying here was somehow better than their lives outside. they just had voted for their own 'lesser evil.' 

you needed someone right now. after being alone for 14 years, living independently, it was hard for you to bottle your feelings to yourself. the first person you can think of right now was se-mi. you had started talking to her before any of these games started, when the masked men just started explaining the rules and regulations. 

she was different, she understood you. she had asked you your reason to be here, you hesitantly told her, slightly embarassed but she didn't laugh or anything like that. she, in fact, smiled at your eagerness to win this game so you'd finally have some finance for your dog. well, that was before the games happened and before shit went down. 

you sniffle as you sit up and slip out of bed, every footstep quiet to not bother anyone sleeping. se-mi was just stairs ahead from you and you were surprised but relieved to see her still awake. she was laying on her back, staring towards the ceiling before she notices you and sits up to make room for you to sit down.

"hi," you start, gently sitting yourself down on her bed. 

"hi." she repeats, her eyes softening at the sight of your puffy eyes, "sparks?" 

you glanced at her, eyes wide as she managed to immediately caught onto whatever you were thinking. you nod, "i'm sorry for bothering you, just needed someone. and i thought you're the right person to approach."

se-mi's heart swells, she never had anyone tell her that before. you trusted her enough to see you vulnerable like this? she clears her throat before reassuring you, "it's no worries. i like talking to you anyways."

she scoots closer to sit beside you, planting her feet on the stairs beside the bunk bed. you fiddled with your fingers as you look down, before you hear her speak up. "i'm sorry for voting to stay."

you snap your head to look at her as you shake your head, "no, no. i don't— you don't have to say sorry for having freedom to choose whatever you want." you mutter.

"still, it was shitty for me to do that. i knew about your situation but i still vo—" you cut her off, "stop. it's not your fault. it's nobody's." she locks eyes with you as her lips part as if wanting to say something, until it closes again.

you sigh, "who cares if you were shitty. everything is shitty. life is shitty." you murmured, "life is shitty." she agrees, staring at your side profile. you noticed her in your peripheral vision and you get flustered, tipping your head down.

"it's hard." you glance at her again, seeing her eyes now staring forward as she spoke, "life outside. it's no different from here. some people say that life outside of here is easier, since you're not trapped in some unknown place. but i don't see how that is any different, aren't you still somehow trapped? not literally but figuratively." you hum, prompting her to continue.

"it's ironic how the ones with the heavy debts say that, as if they're not trapped in their own mistakes." se-mi chuckles beside you as you carefully listen to every word she's saying. talking to someone have always made you feel at peace— something that you don't feel often since you've never really communicated with anyone until now. 

"it's not about being physically imprisoned, but about feeling constrained in many ways, whether by circumstances, expectations, or some shit you dragged yourself into. in the end, no matter where you are, you can still feel confined. that's how i see it, atleast." she finishes.

you grab her hand that was closest to you, and started fidgeting with it instead of fiddling with your own fingers. her hand was warm but rough, in contrast to yours which was cold, but soft. "i understand." you murmur.

you both understood each other, and that alone was enough to provide you comfort. you admired her mindset, not just how  she thinks but how she embraces her own perspective with peace— her ability to see things from a different angle, yet still find peace in it. 

even if you both had casted your votings to two opposing things, there was an underspoken understanding between the two of you. despite the differences, se-mi and you shared a mutual respect, and that makes you so close to her. 

"thank you." you whispered, se-mi snaps her head to look at you, "for what?" 

"talking to me." you reply, "it feels nice to talk to someone like you, understanding but aren't scared to state their own opinion. i appreciate that so much. i haven't felt so understood in years." you feel tears well up in your eyes from getting emotional.

se-mi's lips form into a smile, "well i guess thank you too. you somehow make this place even more tolerable." she squeezes your hand that was holding hers. 

"cmon, stay with me tonight. i don't want to make you go back to bed like this." she tugs at your hand before leading you under her blanket—which started to smell like her— lifting the cloth over the both of you. 

you wanted to cuddle with her, but were too shy to initiate anything. lucky for you, se-mi opens her arms, pulling you towards her. your body relaxes as you feel her warm body spoon yours. you heard her mutter something on top of your head, "keep on being brave." she pauses before continuing,  "for sparks and me."

your once empty heart started to feel full again after this.

"STAINED pants? frozen at the sight of manon holding one of the red spider-woman masks, y/n shuffles around the room awkwardly, slowly backing up to the window and slipping a leg out of the ajar space. “sorry, wrong room.”

“i know that’s you, y/n. come back here or i’ll drag you back inside myself.” y/n sighs as she pulls her leg out of the window, following the other’s command obediently as she tugs her mask off, revealing her band-aid littered face. manon clicks her tongue. “and here i thought you were cheating on me.”

confusion washes over the taller’s features, head tilting as her lips pressed into a thin line, shaking her head. “seriously? you think i’d ever cheat on you? i mean, i might have hit my head many times from being spider-woman, but i haven’t hit it that hard that it compels me to cheat on you.” she retorted, the thought of cheating on manon highly offensive.

I don't think any other Venus sign truly deserves to be with a Scorpio Venus. Not a single one of you is up to par and you know it too. Scorpio venuses settle each and every time they get romantically involved with someone who is not also a scorpio venus (or at least has their Venus in 8H).

Capricorn placements love acting resentful towards you once they realized they can’t give all the things they promised to give you even though you never fucking asked them for anything in the first place. I think people are more obsessed with scorpio venuses being obsessive than scorpio venuses actually being obsessive themselves. When speaking of scorpio venus, people fail to mention that it is hard for this placement to even like or love people to the point they're obsessed with them. They rarely like people enough to even like them like that. Actually, you have more of a chance of them disliking or hating you than you do them being romantically liking you or being obsessed with you.

I'll admit it, I used to look at a lot of the sagittarius suns I would meet and interact with sideways for some of their viewpoints on things until I recently realized something about them. A pattern I noticed about them is that during their upbringing, others around them (usually adults) will project their own toxic/problematic beliefs onto them intensely. That Jupiter influence is kinda of dangerous, beneficial for sure but kind of dangerous too.

I'm glad someone else made a post about how ridiculous some of the astrology "observation" posts can get because some of you get really out of line. I try to give a lot of grace bc I notice that a great majority of you are younger than 22 and that frontal lobe is not even near done baking but I wish that y'all would really sit with some of the things you're writing before deciding to post certain things. I remember writing in my last astrology post about how some of you believe people with prominent libra placements are lgbt+... never got an answer 🙃

Keeping the rant going, can we stop with the mad specific ass observation posts. I feel like we've lost the plot on astrology observations. Like why the fuck are you posting observations about Neptune in Aquarius in the 8th house cusp in a chart with a Libra stellium and a grand trine.............. girl if you don't gtf! If you want to talk about someone you know or yourself just say that!

With all that being said, I feel that it is important for those interested in astrology to seek information and education outside of Tumblr. Specifically from older astrologers. Not to come across as ageist against young people who are into astrology but some of the takes you guys tend to have do come off as you needing to live a little bit more and get more experience before judging certain placements/aspects/signs.

Oh Thalia for sure is absolutely miserable about the whole thing. She’s pulled right back to when Annabeth went missing in Titan’s Curse. This is the second time she hasn’t been able to protect her, except this time there isn’t even a quest or a mission she’s supposed to be involved in that hints at where she might be. She’s just gone. Vanished overnight without a trace. And then finding out Jason might be alive? (And it’s always might be in her head, she doesn’t really allow herself to hope) Yeah, she’s having a Time about it all

Ooof, yeah, Percy would probably react poorly to the way Reyna is taking charge at camp—which is obviously just what she’s used to having to do, but she also handles a few things very similarly to how Annabeth would have, and he does not like it. Her being similar to Annabeth is probably actively a comfort to the campers who usually looked to Annabeth for guidance, and that’s super upsetting to him because it’s not the same!

I’m also very amused by the thought of Piper and Leo kind of beefing with Percy for a while because they’re annoyed he’s trying to start shit with Reyna when she hasn’t done anything wrong. Reyna herself doesn’t even mind that much because she also has a vague feeling that she doesn’t like Percy (due to him destroying Circe’s Island, which she doesn’t remember, but the bad vibes are still there). Anyway, I feel like they eventually sort this out by severely butting heads in combat training and coming out of it with a begrudging mutual respect lmao

Reyna wanted her memories back because not knowing terrified her, but the moment she gets them back she wishes she could go back to the day before, when things may have felt complicated, but not nearly as much as they do now. She’s been confused about her messy feelings for Piper for a while, but before knowing about the prophecy she was way more certain she could figure it out eventually, especially because Piper is super patient with her and doesn’t seem to mind her taking her time to figure things out. But suddenly she’s got memories of the Aphrodite prophecy and her unrequited crush on Jason and she’s pretty sure she’s never liked a girl before, so that’s several new layers of confusion to add to the pile. (Honestly, it might be good to send her and Nico to see Cupid together in this scenario. Maybe that finally helps her figure things out.)

And she likes Camp Half-Blood. So much. Which she feels awful about, because she’s got a prophecy linking her to a completely different home. Is she allowed to feel even semi-comfortable here? Is that a betrayal of New Rome? Is it confirmations of the fears her father had that led to the way he treated her and her sister?

Actually, speaking of the whole thing with her dad, I’m sure her learning what happened to Leo’s mom and all the ways thats still affecting him when she doesn’t have her memories would result in some… complicated feelings that she in no way understands.

Piper also has messy complicated feelings about the situation with Reyna because in her fake memories, falling in love with Reyna played a huge role in her realizing she was queer. So learning those memories are fake is really hard on her. Her feelings are still very, very real, though, and if nothing else it at least plays into her being very patient with Reyna, because she remembers—and she knows that part isn’t fake, even if the context was—how much of a mess it was for her to figure out her own sexuality.

Jason hates this job. He likes helping people. But he doesn’t like being in charge, and he doesn’t like that that’s what people always expect of him when they look at him. He actively joined the worst cohort and befriended the unpopular kids and he still couldn’t escape what his father’s legacy made him. But if the last few months have proven anything, it’s that he’s not cut out for this job. He can fake it for a while, sure, but he’s just stressed and miserable all the time. The only parts of this he liked was helping people and spending time with Reyna, but Reyna wasn’t there and he hasn't felt like he’s really been able to help anyone in months. He’d probably jump at the opportunity to join the quest and just get away from everything for a while, because he may be miserable as a praetor, but he’s good at the hero part of things. I’m thinking Jason probably takes Reyna’s part from the books, except he tries to deescalate the situation way sooner and then also dips way faster to help out, because at some point it clicks for him that maybe they messed up by assuming the storm or fire part of the prophecy is about Percy and Leo because there’s a decent chance the storm part might be him. Reyna and Nico take the Athena statue back to camp and it kills her not to be there for the final battle but maybe that’s part of her arc—going where she’s needed and realizing it’s okay to leave leadership to other people. She’s the one to build a bridge between camps, which started with her, but New Rome’s survival doesn’t fall entirely on her shoulders. She actively has to take the weight off and leave it to other people to save the world. Your Annabeth thoughts are making me weep, oh my god? All of that is so so excellent? Her questioning whether Percy would even like her back with her not remembering everything they went through is agonizing but makes so much sense because of how used she is to not being anyone’s priority. She can’t know she’s found that permanence she’s always looked for in him because everything about him just got ripped away from her, too. Nothing feels steady anymore, so she focuses on what she can control. And that’s the things she can fix at Camp Jupiter. She knows how to run a camp. She knows how to do quests. Hell, New Rome has so many buildings her little architect heart would probably love to take a closer look at and potentially find ways to improve, so that’s also super helpful for her to focus on.

The thing with her dad is heartbreaking. Because yeah, how would he know? Annabeth has been away for so many years, and almost her entire life still takes place away from him. But obviously she doesn’t remember running away at age seven. She doesn’t remember how strained their relationship is. She comes home without any of her memories, to a dad who can barely offer her any answers on things any normal parent should know. And she may not have her memories, but when she leaves feeling confused and hurt, she knows it isn’t the first time.

Thinking about a concept where Juno swaps Annabeth and Reyna instead.

Annabeth and Reyna are fine, because they’ve always been able to handle just about anything the gods threw at them. Piper accidentally has her gay awakening via fake memories of a relationship with Reyna and is really confused why her girlfriend is acting so weird. Reyna and Leo bicker non-stop because even without her memories Reyna knows what she’s doing and she’s very used to getting people to listen to her but Leo will not be serious for even one second.

Percy would start fist fighting the gods in the first week. Jason has never been more stressed in his life because he never even wanted to be praetor but it was manageable while he was doing it with Reyna and now he’s alone. What the hell is he supposed to do.

By the time Annabeth shows up at Camp Jupiter, Jason is so relieved someone knows what they’re doing that he immediately asks her to be praetor, now if she’ll excuse him he needs to go have an anxiety meltdown in a corner somewhere

speaking of food, i feel like you guys have dinner together a lot. if the sheriff has to work late, you’re either inviting stiles over to eat with your family or you and stiles bring food to the sheriff’s office to make sure his dad eats too.

and on the subject of the sheriff, he adores you. he’s not really the type to say it aloud but he can see how happy you make stiles and how much you take care of him. and he does appreciate that you take care of him too. it’s been a while since they’ve had someone else to look out for them both.

stiles will do matching stuff with you. halloween costumes? check. matching pajamas? check. same flannels? check. he may have complained about it at first but once you convinced him he was hooked. he thinks it’s adorable.

I’ve been in this fandom for a few years and i’m still here because i love some aspects of it but what i’ve been really struggling with and what annoys the shit out of me about being a part of a fandom (and it’s obviously present in every fandom not just this) is how far up someone’s ass people can be, it’s so ridiculous. Fans genuinely believe their fav can do no wrong, their fav never not once lied in their life, if they did something questionable then it’s justified. But this way of thinking is insane to me. The amount of comments i see about the blocking situation in particular that are like “i can’t imagine the horrible things you must say for Louis to block you!”, “if he did it then it’s deserved!”. Yes, because Louis is an angelic little thing known for never throwing tantrums out of nowhere, it never happened, sure. Solos feeling the need to defend his honour all the time is so parasocial as well. Saw someone with a hate tweet saying “I don’t hate on larries, i just stand by Louis standing up for himself and his family!!” What even?? They’re really fighting some kind of holy war in their imagination. Not to mention blindly adoring his entire family for no reason and calling them victims of “vile horrible fans” (larries) because “they should be able to share the children on the internet like everyone else!” Should they? Maybe let’s put our thinking caps on! So the point is this part of fandom culture is insane to me and i will never be able to take it seriously i fear

Thorin: An unmitigated loser. His instincts about who to trust are somehow always wrong. Dies first frequently. Hates being impostor because he is terrible at lying. Has to constantly be reminded that even if he’s dead he still has to do tasks.

Fili: Likes to play detective and trick other people into saying too much. Stays in the vents way too often and too long. It’s gotten to the point where if the others even see him near one, he’ll get accused and ejected even if he’s innocent. Constantly trying to convince the others to try the additional role options.

Kili: A good, if overeager player. Gets bloodthirsty as impostor and goes for as many kills as he can. Almost always targets Fili first, which usually gets him caught. Says cheesy one-liners too. Average as crewmate.

Balin: Years of diplomatic training have prepared him for this. Can consistently talk himself out of ejection. Very strategic as an impostor. Pulls off the most impressive kills. Camps security cameras as crewmate.

Dwalin: Perceptive, but tends to overreact a lot to getting called sus which makes things worse for himself. Holds a grudge like nobody’s business. Low win rate.

Oin: Plays the game because Gloin wont shut up about it (secretly likes to feel included). Gets caught immediately as impostor bc he doesn’t really give a shit. Does enjoy the task minigames a little. Doesn’t mind getting killed early because hovering through walls is “so much easier”

Gloin: picked up the game because Gimli likes it. Loves the customization options. Has bought matching amogus merch for him and his son. Average level player all around.

Dori: Gets annoyed when crewmates don’t do tasks, even when he’s impostor. Usually the first to respond to sabotages. Very liberal with the emergency button since he’s discovered it updates the task bar.

Nori: ONLY stack kills. Likes high-risk 3d chess moves that rarely pan out for him. As crewmate its impossible to get him to do tasks. King of third-impostoring. Low win rate but having a great time.

Ori: Plays a very subtle impostor game, letting his teammate do most of the kills. Rarely ever caught. Loves tactical door sabotages. Thinks being crewmate is a bit boring.

Bombur: Tends to get voted out because he doesn’t speak up during discussion. A subtle player like Ori. Never holds a grudge and always makes sure to congratulate the winners. High loss rate as crewmate, average as impostor.

Bifur: ONLY interested in the task minigames. If he catches the impostor he will straight up be like ‘I do not see it 😌’ Never rats anyone out, rarely does any killing as impostor.

Bofur: Undisputed Company amongus champion. Cmon. He’s Bofur. He dominates and derails discussion time so no voting gets done. The others always tell themselves they won’t trust him anymore and they forget pretty much every single time. An observant crewmate, too. High win rate on both sides.

Bilbo: Gets away with a lot by virtue of being himself. Everyone feels bad about accusing Bilbo, a fact he smugly uses to his advantage (often to hilarious results). Does his best work with Nori as his partner. They are chaos incarnate.

okay here are my thoughts about genshin at the moment. i have been not making this post for a little bit because it. pisses me off.

I don't know what the fuck they think they're doing with these characters. HONESTLY. yes the state of them was getting worse gradually. it doesn't take a genius to figure out that when part of a character's draw is how strong they are, in order to get people to buy more and more characters, they have to get stronger and stronger.

but what felt before like a gradual incline turned into a fucking cliffside when natlan dropped and mualani was released at a similar power level to neuvillette (who had just just just powercrept every other hydro dps) WITHOUT the same investment or supports he needed.

The problem I think really is not the character kits themselves. It's not that they're out of ideas. It's just that the multipliers are fucking crazy. and to be frank!! I don't think i've seen one person who is happy with the direction things seem to be going.

i can't deny that there are a lot of good older characters and i wouldn't try to. I am. and perhaps will forever be. a fischl main. (all things considered a very lucky main pick. i considered xinyan) But i am annoyed by ccs who will try to tell you that international is still perfectly abyss viable. like girl. go play international then. go play kokomi taser. go play morgana.

content that should be designed to be challenging mechanically is NOT because it's way easier and more profitable to create a situation where the game looks you dead in the face and goes. drop 2000$ for c2 mauvika and citlali and just kill the enemies before they 1-shot you. otherwise enjoy the next half hour of restarting the chamber.

the fact that they changed the rules for the chronicled wish to put shenhe on rather than let go of hu tao, especially when they have arlecchino right there to give as many regular reruns as they want, is particularly scummy. especially after over a year of shenhe not having a rerun. incredibly nasty. just a flagrant display of how little they care about the feelings of their players as compared to their bottom line.

They're a business. Whatever. That doesn't make it cool or right.

I love genshin's story. I'm concerned for its direction. I'm concerned for the writing of its characters. Maybe I'm missing something, but Mualani's hydro vision doesn't represent jack shit in terms of a duality of character. Citlali could have been absolutely fascinating but has instead been reduced to a tusundre love interest for the traveller to a degree they didn't even inflict on Ayaka. We're supposed to see playable Skirk soon-ish, which I would love to be excited about but tbh with how they handled citlali (another woman who is hundreds of years old and incredibly powerful) I am preparing myself for disappointment.

WHICH SUCKS! I love genshin! I love it! I think that it started out a good game, and that it could be a good game again. Who knows? Maybe natlan will be the character-release equivalent of inazuma's story quest: kind of bad, but with much better things after it. Maybe they'll finally start running three characters at once. Maybe Childe will come back and I will forget my troubles again. I will quit genshin once it becomes virtually unplayable, or once they start releasing doubles of the same character, whichever comes first.

tldr; natlan powercreep needs to end and i really hope they don't fumble any more characters like they did citlali, but ultimately i still really like genshin and want to know where it is going.

Coming out of the closet with such a rare ship that you all will think me crazy and delusional but Antonin dolohov is the only man who possesses enough gaudy power and sadism to properly sugar daddy for regulus black think about it

Like, Antonin is SO neat: he’s canonically a bigger sadist than most death eaters, he’s one of if not the only pureblood heir in Russia, he has truly unreachable levels of like gold chain and real furs and mansions with multiple large living spaces all with the most big and beautiful fireplaces because he lives in teh snowy russian country side and hunts the beasts in his backyard when he gets antsy type of wealth. He’s a bitch, he’s insane, he’s horrific, and oh my god he’s PERFECT.

Regulus likes to be used and desired just as much as he likes to be utterly in control and domineering, it’s a hard line to balance and usually he can’t. He has to pick a side and walk that one, longingly staring for the other no matter which one he’s on. BUT, Dolohov is so crazy and weird guaranteed he loves the chase and scuffle of catching and keeping a lover with fire in their blood just as much as he loves being bossed around by something beautiful. He’s paying thousands dollars for like three hours to get stepped on but then flip you over and choke you out, he’s wild and unpredictable and lives only for his own pleasure and never let’s go of getting what he wants and he wants the pretty black heir with the delicate blue eyes that never show him a glimmer of respect but a so bow low he surely knows where he’s dipping.

This creepy motherfucker kept track of regulus’ birthdays after he ‘bloomed to look so delectable’ and sent him lavish presents each year but never spoke to him until the literal moment he turned seventeen because he knows what he’s here for and he wants soemthing with fire not a cushy and ‘sweet’ (by pureblood courting terms) grooming and then immediate stale marriage. And you think regulus wouldn’t love that shit?? Dude, these two are made to feed only the worst parts of each other. Like I brought up the sugar daddy dynamic because even if there’s no actual money involved, that what they have. They are not dating, they are not married, god forbid they both shiver at that thought, they literally just meet up like every other weekend to do ungodly deeds to each other for 24 straight hours and then like have fancy dinners or attend pretentious parties together when Antonin feels he wants to flaunt and regulus feels he wants to be flaunted.

Antonin only smokes cigars and regulus plucks them from his teeth whenever he wishes for a turn and Antonin grins. Antonin buys regulus sleek and expensive clothes that leave little to the imagination and then insisting he wear them when they go out so everyone can see what Antonin has like regulus is a new head of a new kill for over one of his many fireplaces. Regulus has stitches from the work Antonin does when he’s excited and he’s never without a purpled bruise again after they meet and he craves it. They both do.

They’re the couple you can’t really call toxic because they’re both using each other and both very ok with that. They’re the couple you want to judge because regulus was 17 and Antonin was 32 when they started talking but also it’s a free country and it’s legal and consensual and also they’re both on a completely even playing field money and power wise so what’s actually the harm? Antonin thinks the taboo of it all is funny and he enjoys making people uncomfortable, regulus thinks it’s annoying that everyone seems to think he’s always the victim all the time. ‘He’s bad reg he just wants your body!’ ‘What do you think I want him for, his bubbly personality?’

Honestly I am on no side at all if we're going with that. The two sides of marauders are "everyone's a feminist and gay, and if you don't like that you're homophobic." and "everyone is a purist and racist, and if you don't see that you're stupid." blah blah blah. I've seen both sides and I don't want to be included in either, honestly. I'm in a in between where I like canon because it's interesting, but I have my headcanons.

I am going to be balantly honest and it might be a bit rude, I've seen a ton of hate accounts for all ships, and never has it really been about inclusivity. Most of the time when I see inclusivity being mentioned is by posts like this, or by other fanon shippers who talk about this. Now I'm not saying there aren't any, every fandom has a bit of everything, but I don't see a lot of this.

Let's take jegulus. I've seen two blogs in total that are, quite frankly, pieces of shit about it, but I've seen people give valid reasons on why they don't like it. I don't like it personally because I'm more interested in canon Regulus(who wasnt great at all) and I hc him as aroace, and because James is often mischaractized.

And most of the people who ship canon ships are fairly inclusive. Jily is often seen as a bi couple, Remus is seen as bi and Tonks as queer(I hc her as unlabeled and non binary) in nearly every bit of Remadora media I've seen.

There's always going to be 'purist' about it, but it's never all of them and they shouldn't be sorted with the assholes.

If anything I do think canon shippers are a bit bitter because their ship is seen as secondary, or boring and, was you said, not as valuable. I know that because I am. The jily tag is taken over my jegulus or pandalily or any ship that isn't jily. Same goes for Remadora with Wolfstar, I love both but it's annoying seeing it taken over. Marauderstok is something I avoid because in every video about a canon ship has comments of fanon ships even if it isn't about that. I've barely seen this with fanon ones(not to say I haven't, one the those two hate accounts are bitches bout it).

People should have their own spaces, they shouldn't go taking over others because they don't like it. And when it comes to fanon shippers, well I see them on media that isn't for them quite a bit.

Being in this fandom makes me uncomfortable because if you don't meet specific 'criterias' that this fandom has set, whether unintentionally or not, you aren't included in a lot of it.

This is not hate, I promise, I just want to put my perspective, and something different for what you've been seeing, out there. The marauders fandom, especially, has so many people and sides in it so to put all of them in a small box just bothers me.

i think some marauders canon shippers are the reason that the marauders fandom gets such a bad rep.

canon shippers that create and promote hateful content make it harder for this fandom to be inclusive and diverse.

i understand disliking death eaters and not liking fanon ships, but if your account is built off of content that insults people that do ship them, maybe it’s time to look inwards.

i believe content creators can create content that is not solely based on being hateful, you can express an opinion without belittling and insulting other people.
