tetsu does not show fear, stubbornly keeping his eyes trained on the wall just behind the tv because he refuses to admit that it was a mistake to let you talk him into watching annabelle. but then the sound effects crescendo and even though he knows what's probably coming he can't help but to grip the arm of the couch and pull his blanket a little tighter around him. the jump scare doesn't come, but as it goes quiet again you snake your arm up and scratch the back of his neck and he makes a noise the sounds like something between a sneeze and a sob.

you ask him (patronizingly) if he wants you to put something else on, but he shakes his head and pulls you into his lap, begging you not to let the ghosts get him as you laugh. he just about suffocates you in fear and insists on sleeping over, because god forbid something (or someone) show up in his backseat on the drive home. when he whines about wanting to sleep with the lights on, you wonder aloud why you're even dating in the first place, but you know that this is exactly why.

I have pale skin, mid-length brown wavy hair with bangs, and hazel eyes. I am described as someone who comes off as cold or aloof when I’m around people I don’t know. After getting to know me, I am the complete opposite. I’m just a bit shy at first lol. I like to make people laugh and try to make the best of any situation. However I have a hard time expressing my emotions. I’m also described as easy going and fun to be around. I am a hip hop dancer and love to perform. Dance to me is very freeing and I'm usually dancing anywhere anytime haha. I choreograph a lot as well. I also enjoy reading could vary from manga to non-fiction. I love music especially hip hop, rap, & reggaeton. I also love to write music/poetry. I never show anybody though since I’m really shy about it. I'd love to one day tho! I can be playful and love to tease my friends. I also really like to eat and travel. I really enjoy having deep conversations. I speak English and Spanish (learning Japanese & Portuguese). you can't just say that and then not let me see, he'd whined in response to you casually mentioning the volumes of poetry he'd been the muse for. so now you don't know why you said it... it just felt right in the moment, maybe? too late, though, he's scrolling intently through the notes app on your phone in the middle of dinner in a restaurant, like, in public, and you really want to excuse yourself to go hide in the bathroom or something. he'd know, though, so all you can do is sit and hide your face in your hands and hope he doesn't look up at you.

of course he does, though, god, he's such a pain sometimes, and you pray he can't see how hot your face feels, but he just smiles and hands your phone back to you. hang on, he tells you quietly: he's got something to show you. you're confused when he picks up his own phone, appearing to be looking for something, but a minute later you receive an email from him that's blank except for a file attached. it's a love letter. i was too scared to give it to you, he says, but, you know.

I wanted to join the event if thats okay, my top 5 are : ushijima, sakusa, atsumu, kuroo, and bokuto. My pronouns are she/her. I'm 5'3", a virgo, and an enfj. I like to cook, write, organizing and doing crafts. In my friend group I usually take on the 'mom' role / responsible one. I get told that I'm mature compared to people my age. I tend to try to be strong, and bottled up my emotion cause I dont like burdening people. Though I try to vent once in a while to my close friends. My love language is quality time + act of service. I like to spend times and do things to the people I cherish, be like cooking.. organizing surprises/get together, and randomly buying gifts for them. I moved around quite a few times growing up, that's why i kind of have attachment issues.

u and atsumu seem pretty different on paper, but tbh i think that’s also why you’d work so well together once you’ve figured each other out !

there’s no doubt at all that atsumu would follow you to the ends of the earth if you asked him to (and even if you didn’t). he clings to you all the time, always needing to have an arm around you or be holding your hand, and now he’s clinging to you as you laze on the sofa and read to him.

he’s never been one for books, but maybe you’re beginning to change that. or maybe he just likes hearing you talk, can never get enough of it and forces himself to shut up sometimes just to get a chance to hear your voice. letting you read to him is the best of both worlds; he gets to just listen to you uninterrupted for as long as he wants, and you get to share your favorite books with him, ones that he’d never discover otherwise. and that’s what love is, isn’t it, to discover someone else’s favorite things and discover your own favorite things again through their eyes?

i think you’d match well with semi ! you’d relate on a lot of levels, being the type of couple that can go out and do all sorts of crazy fun stuff but also have a lot of dates that are just the two of u sitting on one of your couches scrolling on ur phones and periodically showing each other memes and tiktoks until u both fall asleep at like three a.m. lol

sometimes it's more fun to do nothing—to say nothing. you'd never known how fun nothing could be until you'd shared it with eita. it's not hard to tell that you're perfectly matched, and you swear you've read something somewhere about love letters and how they say, i've got nothing to say, but it's to you that i want to say this nothing. it's something like that with the two of you, slumped side by side on your bed, just on your phones with the tv, volume low, as background noise, saying nothing to each other but sharing the moment nevertheless.

it's so casual, so spectacularly un-romantic, but honestly, that's what you love about him. there's no pretense, no need to try to make it grand. it's just... him. you've taught each other that you don't need to do the whole song and dance of falling in love; it just happens on its own.

i think you and atsumu would work super well together ! you're a bit like his brother tbh, so he'd click with you right away (although he's super adamant about you being his favorite as opposed to samu lol)

laying with your head resting in atsumu's lap and taking in everything there is about his childhood bedroom, you feel safe. it's dim but for the lamp at his bedside and the tv screen on the opposite wall. you've seen this film—some old french-brazilian classic from the fifties—several times by now, and though you love it you've shifted your focus to atsumu, adorable as he squints to read the subtitles and absentmindedly strokes your hair. you could fall asleep here; it's so nice.

and you do, maybe fifteen or twenty minutes out from the end of the movie. he watches it to the end; you'll probably ask him about it when you wake up. when the credits roll he shuts off the tv and lays down beside you, fast asleep. he wraps an arm around you, smiling when you unconsciously reach for his hand. yeah, this is where you belong.

tetsu says he's set up a surprise for you, but you have to wait until later to see it. so you do, passing the time absolutely whooping his ass at mariokart (at least, that's how you put it, but he's not so inclined to agree).

when it's basically pitch-black outside and you wouldn't see a foot in front of you without a light, he tells you it's time and leads you out and around the back of his house, your hand in his the entire time. he'd have you close your eyes, but really, there's not much of a point. there's a a futon and a giant pile of blankets and pillows laid out on the grass. what’s going on, you’re about to ask, but he sits and pulls you down with him and tosses a blanket over you before you can say it. “tetsu?” flick. you look up and there’s a square of blue light projected onto the side of the house. you look over to him, and he’s grinning like a little kid, almost bouncing up and down with excitement. “we are going to watch. every. single. jurassic park movie tonight.”

i think you and suna would go really well together ! he's not one to show obvious emotion super often but once you know him you can usually tell what's on his mind, and it probably goes the same way too :)

you find that with rin, it's really easy to take notice of the little things and enjoy them while they last. like now: an after-dinner study date in your uni library, sharing headphones and taking turns queueing albums while you work. these days you know every facet of each other, and few words need to be exchanged. it's really nice, actually, to have someone who just knows you.

it's like this a lot; there are a lot of dates like this. not much speaking and the two of you side-by-side, usually with music coming from somewhere. not much speaking because sometimes there's a moment's connection that doesn't to be made by words, that might even be broken by them, so why ruin a good thing? words can't take the place of rin periodically nudging your thigh and shooting you a little teasing smile when you kick him back, or of you having the pleasure of getting to watch him drop his pen, only to hit is head when he bends to pick it up.

My top favourites are Kita, Osamu, Bokuto, Hoshiumi and Akaashi. I'm a gal, she/her, an introvert and a quite peaceful individual, even a little airheaded when I'm relaxed ^^; Though I am quiet, I'm still friendly and caring towards others and generally like helping them out the best I can. I've been told to be very optimistic, reliable and opinionated. I tend to get excited easily about the little things though like seeing a dog, a cool sunset or getting a recipe right on my first try. However I'm a bit of a perfectionist and usually take my time doing things because I hate messing up D: My skills are baking, planning ahead, singing, cleaning and learning languages, and I can't wrap my head around extremely logical subjects rip. I have a weird dream of going to a wasteland/desert/tundra to see the stars in their full glory. I love giving gifts (especially self-made stuff), spending quality time and doing acts of service as love languages!

it will be fuuuuunnn, he'd insisted as he'd dragged into that party earlier tonight, and, to be fair, it was. but now it's your turn, and you're dragging him along as you find your way up to the rooftop of this unfamiliar apartment building. it's only once you've climbed the numerous flights of stairs and stepped out into the open air that he wonders aloud if you can even go here. you might have thought more into that before, but... well. maybe kō's rubbed off on you in some ways. the door wasn't locked, you point out, and lead him to sit on the ground beside you, leaning against the concrete wall. why are we here? he asks, and you respond, look up.

it's hard to see the stars in the city. they're basically invisible from the ground. up here, though, they aren't as polluted by streetlights and neon signs flashing different colors. there are a few constellations you can identify: look, you tell him, those are the pleiades. there's centaurus. and that's gemini. he can't yet make out the people in the stars like you do, but that's okay. you'll be his eyes for now.

my favorites are sakusa, suna, atsumu, iwaizumi, and osamu. i’m an aries and i’m really independent and blunt, but also a very sweet and bubbly individual. i’m a little rough around the edges sometimes, but it’s all in a place of love. i’m pretty spontaneous, i like going out and doing things out of the blue, but i like places that aren’t super filled with crowds so i can have more one on one time with the people i’m around, though i’m not opposed to public places either, i’m pretty go with the flow! i take school and responsibilities really seriously, and i hold myself to high standards. i’d say i’m i show you i love you pretty clearly, like acts of service and words of affirmation and touch.

the sheets rustle as you stir a little, opening your eyes slightly to find him rubbing a towel over his hair and pulling on a t-shirt. you mumble something about liking his hair like that, still a little damp and falling into his eyes, as he seats himself beside you, lips pressing against your forehead. go back to sleep, he whispers, it's late. minutes later you feel a warmth pressing against your back as he slips under the blankets with you, pulling you to him, and you fall back asleep to the feeling of your hand held in his.
