I have a genuine question to people who racebend Kazuichi, my question is why ? I once saw a really shitty take on some people racebending him because, according to the users, “ it makes him a better character “ ? That logic doesn’t really hold up for me, because race has nothing to do with his character ?? It really has nothing to do with any character in Danganronpa besides like, Sonia, since part of her character is being foreign, and regardless of whether or not you want POC representation, almost all the characters in Danganronpa are people of color ( being Asian ).

I don’t know, I think I just want to here some not weird arguments, because in general, I love when people headcannon the characters as multiracial or different races, and the diversity is so pleasing to the eyes, however, that argument really gets under my skin because it feels like people either don’t see Asian people as people of color, or they somehow think that race has something to do with people’s personalities. 🤠✨🥂

THH - sakura, Leon, yasuhiro. yasuhiro was my first favourite when experiencing the game for the first time, Leon has that delightful dumbass energy and I wish we got to see more of it T~T and sakura, god she’s so lovely and has depth to her character and her design and her story and how she hegjshrhrrhrbrbssnsjshdjdss. genuinely best girl and I will die on that hill

SDR2 - KAZ, gundham, ter- sagishi. kaz being mi all time favourite god he’s the best sort of cowardly dumbass who can be so smart n sincere once you let him be and how he has good intentions even if he has no filter andnrhririrke anyway, gundhams fuckin rad, look at him, aspirationally and unapologetically unmasked in public and I love that. i do love that sagishi got some redemption in the anime but even in the game it was hella fun how mysterious they were. terus an honourable mention not because he’s a favourite particularly but i think he deserves a lil rescuing

V3: this one’s the hardest 😭 probably keebo, gonta, kiyo. im a sucker for robot characters and keeblys no exception, gonta never fails to make me cry, and kiyo deserves so, so much more love than he gets. v3 has some really well fleshed out characters and they all do have their charm. kokichis fuckin rad and i love how smart he is and his layers and facades and I could talk about him for an hour but he can get real mean with the things he says sometimes even if he’s joking ksns

I feel like Kazuichi has no concept of other people’s personal space, but a very big concept of his own, violates other people’s bubbles but gets upset when people violate his own. 🤠✨🥂
