Gotham was home to many strange things.

Dangerous things more often than not, yes, but still in the line of strange to those outside of Gotham.

Of course, their strange has become their normal.

ultimately when it comes to shipping and fandom space treatment of aspec characters i just don't accept "aro/ace people can still date/have sex" as an answer from nonaspecs. like yeah. mhm. okay. now i think we both know that you're not saying that out of real interest in the diversity of aspec experiences. so you can turn in your seventeen-page essay on why and how you plan to examine this character's aspec identity within the context of a romantic or sexual relationship complete with evidence from canon and peer reviews from multiple aspec people within the next week or i'm putting you in the pit from the edgar allen poe story

Home always talks to ghosts

It's the trust between Home and Peach that really solidifies that they are partners.

Because this is how it started:

And now they look at each other for permission to put themselves in danger, yet they trust each other enough to face it together.

Peach sees the ghosts, but Home is the only one of the team who has consistently tried speaking to them.

Home tries really hard to communicate.

Because his family never did.

So the show giving him the gift to finally hear the ghosts he keeps trying to talk to is a beautiful moment.

Since he has never been heard.

He is the piece that he felt they were missing all along.

And now he gets to help the ghosts in the exact way he has been trying to help the living.

By having a conversation.
