writing off nukani as “just porn” is really watering down what a wonderful, lovely, inspired and heartfelt piece of media it truly is. i honest to god have not seen another bl quite like it.

each of the characters are complex and unique, with their own backstories and goals and personalities and traumas, including our lovely protagonist. and the relationships each of the clan members have with eiden feels so realistic and natural. it’s not immediately love at first sight for all of them. their relationships grow and evolve over time, you can see their connection becoming stronger as the years go by.

it’s a very.. mature game, and i’m not talking about the sexual content. i mean the writing is very mature, the dev team has been able to handle sensitive subject matter in a way that doesn’t feel reductive or dismissive. so much love and care went into every aspect of this game, from the lore to the artwork to the music to the characters we all love and adore so much. its so much more than “just porn”.

but, on the topic of porn.. that’s also very good!!!! the lack of stereotypes is huge, and the amount of diversity between characters and even rooms is amazing, but i personally love how the sex scenes feel like an important part of each character’s story. it’s hardly ever just about sex. it’s about love, about trust, about embracing the parts of yourself you’re most ashamed of, it’s about loving wholeheartedly and unconditionally, about unlearning guilt and shame and examining why we have those things in the first place, it’s about allowing yourself to be cared for, it’s about letting go and having fun.

i know i like to joke about how nu carnival is a silly yaoi gacha porn game but… this silly yaoi gacha porn game has made me cry on several occasions. this game feels like a love letter to my soul and i’m extremely grateful i get to be alive at the same time as this wonderful game.

Spoilers for the 2.1 main story quest <3

I really don't have it in me to properly verbalize it rn because I'm still processing everything and we only have bits and pieces of the whole story as well as how Aventurine is as a person but. What really gets me is how Aventurine is someone who hasn't had any stability or promise of safety in his life whatsoever. He's faced loss after loss, was bought as a slave, had to fight for his life multiple times. He's told he's the lucky one, the one chosen by Gaiathra Triclops. He saw his community and family nearly be wiped out and as the future him says- he lies to himself nonstop to try and curb the fear of losing more. "You put on a mask of confidence and lie to convince even yourself, but under the table you hang on to your chips for dear life."

Aventurine has to do all that he has to do because he simply has no choice. Either he acts or he dies. He's forced to weave a web of connections and half truths- even outright lies- and balance delicately upon it. He's forced to always be three steps ahead of his enemy. He tries to treat it as a game- all or nothing- when in truth he lives in terror of losing it all. He smiles and smiles when he's trying to run from his grief and fear. How far can he run? What choice does he have? Does he even have any choices to begin with?

So the fact that he serves Qlipoth, the Preservation, and the fact that his gameplay is ridiculously plain- you use his skill, not even his ult, just his skill- to put a shield on you and your entire party. It's that easy, to have that option- to preserve what you have. It's not a gamble, not even close. That shield has a guarantee to it, it's constant- as long as you use his skill, he will protect your entire party. It really gets to me in a way I can't verbalize right now. That that's what he really wants- permanence, safety. A guarantee

Jinx, Jinx, my dear, what have they done to you?

The Jinx from episode 9 and the Jinx from episode 2 in this season are not the same character. And "adoption of random child" isn't a good explanation, she is too caring and too ready to trust. Not the girl that had lost everyone because she accidentaly killed them or she changed into someone beyond their recognition. Someone who feels like she breaks everything she touches, that bombed the council because she was pissed, someone who almost force her sister into killing her girlfriend, and who had hurt Silco, her father figure, on purpose because "he lied". Now she is able to take care of a child, who convevniently is mute? And whose only personality is wanting to be like Jinx?

And Jinx goes from episode 3, were she didn't hesitate in hurting Vi to: "let's work together to save Vander who now is a furry!" And that Jinx doesn't seem to get triggered at Warwick even when he is her dead father? And that's another thing, the usual allucinations from season 1 aren't so usual now. Since in episode 9 she allucinated Vander one would think she wouldn't be so calm when confronted with Warwick. And no, adopting a random child doesn't cure allucinations.

She is way less violent without explanation, she has heroic traits out of the blue, and too mentaly stable by Jinx standards.

Her dialogue was pretty bad and marvel like sometimes, it's sad, it feels like we spent a lot of time with her while at the same time we got almost nothing. The relationship between the sisters is superficial they solve the conflicts inmediately, and we should have had more interactions between Jinx and Cait, and not friendly ones. Again, remember episode 9?

It's like they forgot to show an entire season of her character arc.

Little mouse – near by friend

Three dimensional scene for today. About good and kind animals. They are my good friends. So, now, while it is going, a winter little mouse is sleeping. And, in the summer, mouse will wake up and start to run! Little mouse, again, comes as a friend. From a big field to my place comes a grass mouse.

Little mouse is very fast creature. Mouse runs all the time.  For several time, mouse comes and runaway. And, only, after this mouse speaks – “Hello!”

Later, mouse runaway again into the grass. And runs at the little field, already, with little cup.

“Let`s drink a tea!”, - little mouse speaks.

Little mouse has a certain little cup. With red berries. Such a drawing at the cup.

“This is my favorite little cup!”,  - speaks little mouse.

And, well, little mouse has lots of little houses in the grass. And lots of things to do. Little mouse, also, does lots of thing in the vegetable garden. Little mouse likes a lot flowers. As a mole. By the way, mainly, little mouse is living in the garden. Amongst the high grass and most different flowers. In compare with mole, little mouse is living at the surface. And little mouse can build a little house from a wood. Somewhere in a shadows of a big tree. Or in a high grass. It is best place! So, it can happens, often, that you cannot to find a mouse house at first time!

And, you know, little mouse invites you for a tea! And you forget how to go to that place. Little house is always little hidden from a curious eyes. So, this is a little mouse!

Well, little mouse has a very delicious tea. With berries and flowers. Flower tea. With berries. There is even gooseberry. Mouse can grow it. It is so yellow. Delicious.

Little mouse in compare with mole, prefer second part of the day. Mouse appears as the evening begins. Mouse runs and runs. Mouse doing lots of things all the time. And, only, after, that mouse goes as a friend to near by friends. To see them.

Little mouse likes a lot to drink a tea at the evening. When it is most summer! And it is still warm. There are grasshoppers in the grass. At the bench mouse jumps. With a little cup of tea. And eats gooseberry. And watch the start of the evening. It is 4 o’clock of the day. Or 6 o’clock in the evening. Still sit and  watch the sky. It happens, that sunset begin earlier or later. But, little mouse, anyway, sits and watch. Drinks a tea. And eats gooseberry!

And, for winter, little mouse goes into a sleep. For all the winter long. And, when little mouse wakes up everything is new and interesting! And, it is, at once, so good to do lots of things and run fast! So, this is a little mouse!

So, if someone rustle in a grass. And makes a noise and sawing. Works with the wood. So, it is should to be little mouse. You nearby friend. Mouse builds a house. Do repair. Expanse place. All the time, mouse is with some things to do. And, mouse sits in a grass and have some rest. So, this way, you can a guess, that your nearby friend doing some building!

I'm working on my next smau (spoilers under the cut if you're interested) and in the meantime, I want to work on some fake texts (as well as some written surprises here and there that I've been working on)! But I just want to know, what kind of texts do y'all prefer from me? 💕

Current post date is to be determined. I have the profiles finished, some teaser chapters, and an outline for the prologue. Even with just that finished, I can promise you this will be a rollercoaster of emotions, you'll hate every character at least once, and things will not go the way you expect.
