Actually, being a chilled, fun-loving mom and prankster herself, and even poking fun at herself, Della is totally fine with that (she even encourages Louie to record embarassing family moments at times, they’ll show it to their family members and Della bursts out laughing while Louie grins smugly)

(there just was that one time were Della accidentally fell on top of Launchpad and it was all very embarassing and Louie filmed it, unfortunately. XD Della, being totally embarassed, insisted that Louie should delete it -he even edited the video and added a very cheesy version of “My Heart Will Go On” playing in the background- which he apparently did… just to play the vid on Della’s and Launchpad’s wedding a year later. XD)

Missing, one heart

Gladstone's in love. Della decides it's time for an intervention. (Losttwin!AU)

This is a crazy little plot I came up with based on the idea that as lucky as Gladstone is, he has no luck with love, and Della being protective of her family in different ways to Donald.

So Gladstone has fallen in love, he's crushing hard, but the object of his affection seems to have no idea he exists. It completely bewilders Gladstone, he spends hours being overdramatic at Della, because everything he wants falls into his hands, except this.

Della is not impressed. Gladstone's attempts at wooing have so far been, stand in same general area as the subject of his crush, pretend to ignore, and hope that something might happen.

So Della gives him some advice, sends him off… and there's a disaster. Sure Gladstone managed to actually say all of three words to the object of his desire, but somehow he's soaking wet, has paint splashes all over his suit, and he's strangely ok with this.

Della continues to prod Gladstone into talking to his crush, and every time he does, there's a disaster on level with Donald's brand of bad luck.

Della doesn't know what to make of it, but Gladstone's happy.

Then they fish Gladstone out of a river, and he's devastated. His love is gone, left, never coming back. And Della's left to pick up the pieces.

Which apparently involves kidnapping Gladstone (and maybe the other cousins), and flying off on an adventure.

Then after a few misadventures, the cousins end up back on Grandma's farm, quietly fishing.
