Do they speak each other's languages? Absolutely not. Toga figures hers out pretty quickly, though, so he understands everything she's saying even if she doesn't fully understand everything he's saying, which he finds fairly amusing because she doesn't know he can understand her, but it does get frustrating after a while when all his attempts to court her fly over her head.

He gifts her a proper kimono to replace the one that got ruined when she was injured by a wild random demon in the nearby woods. (Legit though I can imagine him vanishing for a couple hours than coming back with like a dead boar or rabbit for dinner and she's just like: "You know you're gonna have to gut that for me, right?" And he's just like : "Really, human." and she's just, "I don't. Know how. To gut. Mammals." "How have you survived this long on your own?" "I. DON'T. KNOW. HOW. TO- oh, you're gutting it. Thanks!")

Anyways, at some point after Toga heals he probably vanishes temporarily (and even if he tried to tell Iliana he'd be back she probably wouldn't understand) so she thinks he just kinda... abandoned her. Which is fine. It's totally fine. She didn't get used to him being around all the time or anything, she's not lonely with him gone, hahaha... ha... It's not like he's her only friend or the only person she's ever actually talked to in this insane world or anything... haha...

Double anyways, Toga comes back (probably shows up just in time for some bandits to try and hide in the cave/attack Iliana) and Iliana is both mad and relieved because she missed him but also she totally thought he just abandoned her, and while she's telling him off he kisses her.

Her brain does not compute the affection.

Don't'ch you ever. Look at your old google bookmarks at see the very old ones. Think about memories. Click on it. And It's not there. Anymore. Every Art i save in bookmark i have on Imgur just stop existing. And you fell sad, cos this art got lost to time. And You don't know With One it Was.

Its the winter when i cried by the words you said  But what if i didn't actually hide it from you,  that you hurt me. And maybe i didn't, I told you that your words were rude and you said "that's how i seem to be, cant change that you see". And i hated how the days with you felt like a burden suddenly.  So I took the easiest road to hell and entered the gates of the place we met  , talked with our thoughts , with people and played to our whims.  I entered it again to break the curse ; our friendship. You cried with  them and i cried in the room besides it , losing your spoon with myself that day. You have been my home for times i cant scale . I love you for all you have done and I understood you far too long to let go of the hurt .  I still see you each day and i break down to my loneliness.

As we met , in a crowded room  I was me and you were you. Far apart yet in the same class room. Who could have imagined the softest time of my childhood will be spent with you, That we would grow together , introduced in parties as a family.

Now i go back to that december when i cried ,  Lost in my sense of self or lost in the hurt of your words Did i inherit my mothers spitfire  Or my fathers denial for love ? Now in some crowded room  I am me and you are you,  But i still carry some of you Do you carry me with you too ?

you sit in front with ur friends and i sit with my unbecomings. Do they know about us too ?  5 years lost too me surrendering  Realising you never fought for us , the way i did . did you ? You lost the game as only i lost our friendship ? I hope you family would forgive me too , for leaving but that's what i am best at , isn't it ? I never could agree with others when they stated your fault , knowing all to well that they were true , but did you too ?  So i should end it here , you will became your fathers biggest smile and i will choose to never even look mines way . so i gave up the confessions , that i was sorry when you left me at the cafe that movie night , and i got so scared of being abandoned , off you not picking up your phone that one time , in that big mall , that when i finally met you i said rude words which came with thundering guilt ; to turn around and not apologise one bit.
