New Deck Review Up On My Tarot Blog – The Litha Oracle
Rockpool Publishing sent over the Seasons of the Witch: Litha Oracle for me to review and share with you.
I’m so excited for this one because I don’t have a lot of summer decks, and this is the first summer oracle put out in this series, and it’s gorgeous with a purple card back and shimmering purple foil edging. This is such an uplifting, empowering, and sunny deck!
Seriously, this one has the best vibes with cards like citrus fruits, cloud scrying, country cottage, fruit wine, garden beds, lemonade, rewild, stargazing, summer berries, sunbathing, sun magic, sun salutation, sunset dinner, sun tea, and wildflowers.
Check out my full review of this Litha Oracle on my tarot blog where I discuss the themes of Litha, explore the cards, and walk you through my very insightful and impactful throw of the Hydration Spread, which is a custom spread in the Litha Oracle guidebook. It helped me understand the slump I’ve been having creatively the past few months! It really got the gears turning again. Best spread I’ve thrown in months. I share that thorough deep dive into my interpretation of that throw.
And I share tons of photos from this gorgeous, vibrant deck, sure to lift your mood today! Deck review on blog below
The Litha Oracle releases on May 7, 2024. You can preorder it now here
Thanks to Rockpool Publishing for sending this deck over!

I am also waiting for Witch-Sister but it's not on my list.
The five decks that are on it:
The Sirens Song (Lenormand and Kipper deck) by Carrie Paris and Toni Savory (out already but I'm being good)
Sisters of the Sea by Lucy Cavendish and Amy Brown
Cozy Witch Tarot by Amanda Lovelace and Janaina Medeiros
Seasons of the Witch Imbolc Oracle
Green Witch Oracle by Arin Murphy-Hiscock and Sara Richard
Decks I'm interested in but will wait for reviews or for US Games to actually ship copies to Amazon Canada:
The Förhäxa Tarot
Oracle of Delphi by Suzy Cherub
Dark Magick Oracle by Fiona Horne (hesitating because I have a perception of the author as that "weird reality tv witch" that has never faded)
Witching Hour Oracle by Lorriane Anderson and Olivia Bürki (not to be confused with the Witching Hour Oracle that is already out)
Secrets of the Green Witch (just came out but there's no listing on Amazon.ca)
Rooted Woman Oracle by Sharon Blackie
Moon Goddess Oracle by Nicci Garaicoa (I like the soft palette and the modern art)
Maidens of the Wheel Oracle by Tammy Wampler (not sure how I feel about the art)
The Sacred SHE Tarot by Ma Deva Padma (unsure about this one)
Inspirational Wicca Cards by Davide Marrè and Gonzalo Martinez Moreno
Manifesting with the Fairies by Karen Kay (I love her mermaid deck! Her first fairy deck is fine.)
The Bee Tarot by Kristoffer Hughes and Nadia Turner (really excited for this one)
Decks from Angi Sullins that are a pain in the ass to get here because US Games is like that:
W.I.T.C.H: Woman In Total Control of Herself Oracle
and
Fearless: Fight Like a Girl Oracle
All are subject to change as I view walkthroughs and decide I hate/love the art.
I was able to narrow my tarot and oracle deck Amazon wishlist to five decks, four are preorders. I haven't preordered any just doing a trim.

Hello Everyone!
I enjoyed reading the Samhain Oracle for you all so much, that I’m going to keep on with the one-card oracle theme. I’m really loving this Seasons of the Witch Oracle series by Lorriane Anderson & Juliet Diaz. They have a Beltane deck up for pre-orders right now as well. But for this free oracle event, I’ll be using the Yule Oracle! It looks like this!
Tumblr media
Guidelines
As before, this will be different from my usual readings! Please be sure to check out this post completely before sending in your requests. I will keep my readings open until 12/20, or until the Ask Box gets too full to reasonably keep up with. Readings are generally posted within 1-3 days of being sent.
I will be using oracle cards (not tarot), and the guidelines to request a reading will be as follows:
❄️ Please like and reblog this post.
Reblogs are especially helpful, as they help spread the word so more people participate. I’ll do more themed oracle reading events in the future if they become popular.
❄️ Submit your questions via Ask Box, not DM please.
❄️ Please submit only one question per ask.
❄️ I will pull one card only per ask. This means that I will not pull any clarifying cards or answer follow up questions like I do with my tarot readings.
❄️ Any type of question will be accepted, but please keep in mind that oracle decks are not as nuanced as tarot. Typically they are best suited to answering questions about a particular topic or theme.
This particular deck is all about turning inwards, coming together with friends, family, community, etc. Connecting to earth medicines, healing, personal power, witchcraft and and the very beginning of returning to the light (as marked by the winter solstice). Questions that focus on these topics will be most aligned with the deck’s theme.
I will do my best to read within the context of your question, no matter what it is. But please keep in mind that some questions will work better than others.
❄️ In general, I will not do readings involving:
Death (as in when someone will die)
Legal matters
Serious illness or health concerns
Third party readings (I.e, is person A having an affair with person B)
For those under the age of 18.
In addition, I retain the right to refuse to do a reading for any reason. Don’t be nervous to ask questions though! If you aren’t sure if your question fits the guidelines, it’s ok to ask. I may be able to help you reformulate it.
Divination is not meant to replace any professional legal, medical or any other type of expert advice. It is for entertainment purposes only. You are responsible for how you choose to incorporate (or not incorporate) any information received from a reading. Take only what resonates and leave the rest.
If you request a reading from me, it means that you have read through and agreed to all of these guidelines.

This is the season to get ready to ascend from darkness, reaching for your hopes and dreams as you step out of winter and into the light. Marking the midway point the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, Imbolc is associated with patience, hope, transitions, and beginning the ascent back to the light after the darkness of the winter months. It is the perfect season to represent the self. It's a time when the harshness of a spiritually dark cycle may bring up feelings of vulnerability or confusion about your next steps, or when you need some encouragement to keep going. This sabbat is also the most suited for solitary spiritual work, where you turn inward and focus on your own hopes and dreams. This is beautifully designed book and card deck set designed to evoke the spirit of Imbolc. Each of the 44 cards in this oracle is a seed of spiritual guidance - inspired by ancient Imbolc traditions - to find answers to your most profound questions. The messages give the user a glimpse of the card's inner meaning, making this oracle an excellent way for beginners to developing their own intuitive reading skills. These cards align with your energy, helping you to unlock your inner wisdom with the help of powerful spiritual forces. Along with thoughtful meanings are powerful word spells, to invoke the energy of each card and to send your intentions of spiritual well-being out into the universe. This deck is created by the best-selling team of Lorriane Anderson and Juliet Diaz, who also created Seasons of the Witch: Samhain Oracle and Seasons of the Witch: Yule Oralce.

I just had a look at the Earthcraft Oracle. It's by Juliet Diaz and Lorriane Anderson and the art is by Danielle Boodoo-Fortuné.
I just had a look at the art. It's so lush and colorful and beautiful. The style reminds me of stained glass. Every card is like a burst of sunshine, even the gloomier ones. It's just so pretty. My favourite cards are "Balance" with a sun and moon motif and both the figures in the card are women (and they are doing a forehead touch) and "The Mountain" which shows a sleeping Mother Earth (her hair is a river!).
There are only three men in this deck. If it's any consolation they are all black (well the guy in Death looks like a tree) and the dude in thunderstorm has the most magnificent dreads. I'll take a picture of him.
Speaking of most of the people are BIPOC. Honestly it would be easier to count the white people and now that I look closely some of the people I thought were white at first are actually a bit darker and have natural hair.
I think my only issue with the images is that some of the titles set off my "fake Native American spirituality"/general New Age bullshit alarm bells, like "Medicine Woman", "Karmic Debt", etc. I know Diaz claims to be Taino and I'm really sorry if that is true but there are so many people claiming to be fake Natives to sell stuff so please forgive me for being suspicious.
First impressions I would say are generally positive and I would love to pair this with the Gentle Tarot.
