edit: i did not purposefully shorten that to Thimb but y'know what. guess thats her nickname. Also helps solidify Thimble as the name b/c Thimb won't get mixed up with Spindle for me. ;3 ;3 ;3 story? Spindle found Bobbin at some point, I'm thinking in the city or maybe just outside when he was taking a little vacation. I imagine Bobbin was abandoned around an Easter-like holiday. He took her in but then read about rabbits being social creatures so he started looking into local places that he could go to for rabbit speed-dates for finding a compatible rabbit.

This was uncomfortable for Spindle because that meant going around humans more than he was used to; but his friend (who's basement he rents out for his home) goes with him to help relax his nerves.

It takes a few tries until Bobbin meets Thimb who ignores Bobbin completely at first but at least doesn't start a fight. The encounter was relatively tame but Spindle was encouraged by the attendant that it had gone very well [eating together, mirroring, generally being okay with each other].

Bun wives hit it off once at home [though Spindle still followed the guidance he was given and took introduction n stuff slow].

time for another ‘type lore post :3

So basically im an ebonpaw. An ebonpaw is a creature similarly sized to a red fox. They have sleek black fur, big, round, glowing eyes, LORGE ears, and fluffy tails.

The name ebonpaw comes from: 

Ebon (from ebony, a black stone)

Paw (uh it’s a creature with paws so paw)

Personality wise, ebonpaws are typically solo creatures, but are willing to help other creatures and fellow ebonpaws. They’re nocturnal and have ✨powers✨ basically they can like become one with the darkness/void and radiate very heavy outer space vibes and energy.

but!!!!

so originally i had it as a ship just cause "haha, lorge tentacle man + power bottom twink make brain go brrrrrrrrr" when i first saw them. but the more and more i played, and after playing several times and reading more lore and watching rayvis's reactions, learning his motivations and such (im a whore for rayvis, im not sorry), the more i realized that like...

this is *such* a toxic ship, in the best way possible. i know that sounds fucking whack, it is. but hear me out:

obviously, theres a power dynamic situation going on. dagan has control over rayvis completely due to rayvis's code that he follows through to the end. and rayvis? not happy about it. mans is PISSED that he not only got BESTED, but then got bested by someone who went missing for over 200 years. he could have said "fuck it, dagans dead, im free" but he spends his entire life seeking out what santari hid away because he REFUSES to break his code. and most people would assume death to a humanoid man after so long but he refuses to give up.

now, when we DO see the two together, its not just the code that rayvis follows. rayvis and dagan still share the same goal: tanalorr. but rayvis has just gotten infinitely more tired over the years because he wasted away in a prison for so long and then hunted down a man he could only hope was still alive. so he's just wanting to SEE tanalorr again since he'd first gotten there way back when. but with so many delays (and annoyances: peek cal and bode), the exhaustion is finally getting to him. but he refuses to give up on his and dagans dream.

on top of that, when we see them together, there's still this sort of scorned married couple on the brink of divorce. the lines "say that again and i'll cut out your tongue" "...it'll grow back" lives rent free in my head. rayvis KNOWS dagan can best him, kill him in even. but he doesnt. why?

because dagan likes the power/control too much. he likes it too much when rayvis kneels in front of him, confirming his loyalty and doesnt care that rayvis tenses when he leaves the room. dagan likes it too much that rayvis is still walking on hands and knees for him because of his code that rayvis so desperately wants to break but doesnt because he's too honorable of a man. and dagan uses it to his advantage. but there is, i think, a small amount of him that hopes that rayvis TRIES to break the code he has. dagan wants him to fight back, actually have no honor, break it.

"break it," dagan will whisper into rayvis's ear. "i know you want to." and rayvis wont, no matter how much he wants to. because that would only prove dagan *right*.

this ship is so like, toxicly co-dependent of each other. holding each other over one another in a way that just MMMMMMMMMMMM feeds me in a way i didnt think it could. they are messy, and toxic, and TERRIBLE for each other but FUCK mmmmMMMMMMM do i love it

D&D classes (and some races) for my OCs by popular demand:

Nikodemus - Fuck-off old human wizard. Either School of Necromancy or Transmutation, with perhaps some multiclass dips into mystic (Order of the Immortal). Power over energy, life and death either way.

Avita - Sorceress, Divine Soul origin. Aasimar blood dormant on her father Nikodemus' side. Some dips into druid and warlock levels too.

Silas - CENTAUR DRUID. Circle of the Shepherd centaur druid, to be precise. He's so cinderella coded AND half-critter anyway, should be allowed to talk to critters 😔 Favoured wildshape (just to vibe in) is an elk. Fox companion.

Daniel - One of the legendarily hilarious examples of bad character creation in D&D. A posh, uptight and modest half-elf bard. Zero rizz. College of Glamour. Violinist. Yes I know a low charisma bard is essentially useless, he fits the bill. Gets his hands on some Tomes of Leadership eventually, literally reads himself into confidence.

Sally - Human fighter, close quarters shooter style. Gunslinger archetype (it's an unofficial subclass but give me a break). You know she has that heat on her.

Vanya - Vampire Rogue but make it the Inquisitive or Mastermind archetypes and pair that with some scholarly background like Investigator or Anthropologist.

Constance - Guardian Paladin. Watchers oath. I'll only tentatively touch on race for Constance and... warforged? But don't ask why he looks so human. Don't ask who forged him either.

Angel - Green dragonborn rogue turned ranger (long story..). Unarmed fighting style (who needs weapons when you fuckin lorge). Poison breath fits with his original lore somewhat.

And uh. Lumen's likely some sort of boss monster, she really doesn't fit into any class OR race. Just a funky guy in your way. Very happy to be released from the mortal coil and back into the cosmic.

This doesn't mean i'm giving them all a d&d verse (although.. do tell me if something catches your eye), it's just a fun little thing i'm doing!

Lunny (Luenevain)

Origin: D&D, Warforged (theoretically. their body is a construct, powered/run by a dead fairy’s soul) Wizard 40k concept: Obvious impossibility of a Necron with a Soul, mayhaps incorporating an Aeldari soulstone. With Magic.

Zahariel

Origin: Original world, ‘mage’ race (elves able to shapeshift into kinda draconic creatures). (This was forever ago shh.) Recently recreated as a pseudo-deity for an original world setting. 40k concept: Aeldari exodite trapped within the crystalized remains of her world, encountered through astral projections.

Jade (The Chains of Ivory and Jade that Bind the Hound)

Origin: Exalted Abyssal, absolute sweetheart who self-sacrificed to help anyone and everyone (literally. had a chalice she could bleed into to transfer her life essence to other people). 40k concept: Khornate sorta-daemon? (like Serge but not xD). Might accidentally help/be mistaken for a Sister of Battle sometimes? Not a fighter, will cry. Would need lorge Astartes boyfriend to dote over.

He is so fast, pouncing and running. It's not everyone who could rattle their own little brain by dashing back and forth!

I'm sure he's the star of whatever LARP session he attends, especially with Angeal's mad skills. They must be a formidable team. Genesis too, would be a great lore master and love to help him with all his fantasy and imagination adventures.

Oh! So his arts and craft shows are where he gets such wonderful inspiration! I saw his decor earlier and it was stunning.

He may be tiny in stature, but he is LORG in talent.

This is how I imagine ping pong went:

What are TCD's favorite things to watch on TV? Does he re-enact scenes later? Does he ever get excited and POUNCE on the screen when a prey animal shows up?

Favorite things to watch on TV...hmmm...

Tiny Cloud dragon loves watching a variety of things. He loves fantasy movies best. Brave warriors, magical creatures, mystical lands, etc. He will go about the house, dressed in a handkerchief 'cloak', with a little stick 'sword', and reenact his favorite scenes or make up his own adventures.

He does get a little too excited when something shoots, zips, flutters, or rolls across the screen. He can't help it, he has to pounce. It's just instinct!

He also likes watching arts and crafts shows. They give him ideas for renovating and decorating his nest, or building castles for his movie reenactment. He develops a hyperfixation with LARPing, much to Zack and Genesis' delight. Angeal decides to make his costumes because they have to look authentic. Can't have a king LARPing in a costume that looks like it came off Wish!

Tiny Cloud dragon isn't really a sports fan, but he can't resist watching whatever game Zack has on TV. He does tend to be a tiny bit of a nuisance though. He keeps randomly jumping at the screen, or chasing the ball from one side of the screen to the other, trying his best to catch it.

The SOLDIERs all agree that it's humorous and adorable, if a bit annoying. And they all were in 100% agreement that ping pong tournaments were forever banned from viewing after Tiny Cloud dragon almost shook his little brain right out trying to follow the ball.

HOPE’S FANGS AND BITE

Hope’s fangs after she is fully activated are different than what we see on screen. Rather than the standard two fangs that vampires have to bite and feed, Hope has four.  Both her upper and lower canines elongate (upper a little more than the lower), similar to a wolf’s cuspids. This grants Hope a very unique and specific bite, not just in terms of how much easier she can rip things apart with her teeth, but when feeding, her bite leaves a distinctive four holes rather than two. (This also makes her victims easier to track, just saying.) It also means her bite probably hurts like a motherfucker.
