Ramsay isn't a bastard, King Joffrey legitimized him two months ago and Lord Roose is going to make him castellan of the Dreadfort soon. He loves his son and trusts his abilities. Plus, Ramsay is being awarded for his efforts in saving Winterfell and putting a stop to the ironborn raids in the North by being betrothed to Arya Stark—would a bastard be granted that honor? I don't think so.
Also, Theon isn't dead, Ramsay is (rightfully) flaying him for his crimes in the dungeons beneath the Dreadfort. Gods, I'd love to see Ramsay thrust the knife under his skin!!!!! 😜

mother have mercy i was walking by the great sept of baelor (i wanted to pay my respects to our blessed king joffrey) but i was blocked by a knight of the kingsguard—i believe it was one of the kettleblacks, unfortunately i always forget which one has been elevated to the kingsguard—because the queen was keeping vigil over her son, so i prayed outside instead. yet only a few minutes passed when i swear i saw the kingslayer arrive (he seemed to be missing a hand!) and enter. then, and this is the most disturbing part, i swear to the father that i heard noises of fornication coming from inside! i know for a fact that the only other person inside was the queen mother. could the rumors be true? i feel dirty even writing this. i wonder if i should tell my septon.

“The Princess knew in her heart she is strong, smart, and capable because it is in her blood.”
“There is the matter of succession that has to be settled. You don’t start a reign without settling how it continues.”
“My reign has been anything but traditional. Let’s not start now, shall we?”
“Every girl thinks about growing up in a palace. Few ever ponder living in a cage.”

Little recap of episode 4 of season 4 of Wakfu
Look at this!!
Tumblr media
You saw this beautiful smile???? This smile can stop babies from crying (and Nora). This smile can revive a puppy.
You saw it???
Well, I hope you did because I think we'll not see it in a really loooooooong time~ (maybe 9... Or 10 episodes.) The storm is coming... violently with a bat.
Tumblr media
(BEHOLD SPOILERS OF EP 4 OF SEASON 4 OF WAKFU)
I remember Tot said season 4 was gonna be sad a f*ck and that Yugo will have to pass some kind of "hard trial" (AGAIN) in this season because this kid will never have a good rest. Not even a breath. Stop. Give this little boy some holidays c'mon, the lord is always testing our little angel to the limit. (And by lord I mean Ankama I'm looking at you...)
Tumblr media
So it's very likely that Yugo will start to suffer even more in the next episode. And of course, in the entire season :))))))) Let this boy have something, someone precious by his side more than an instant and stop take it from him in the next second, I beg you. (He just found his family... And... Qilby I guess. And Adamai just abandoned him already to investigate by his own way...)
Tumblr media
Just seeing how the kings and queens of every nation were so disrespectful in front of him and just called his mother a monster and made her cry, well. (I want to riot! When Joris said they were "quite tense" he fell short.)
Tumblr media
Okay, yes, I understand the eyes in the sky~ are pretty creepy and of course I don't trust her either, at least, like this is so suspicious for sure, no one was born yesterday even when she is trying to be so kind and helpful monitoring the entire planet (yeessss mom, way too much).
But, c'mon, this is a goddess as tall as... I don't know, as much as she wants, girl she is made of f*cking magic. If she wanted she could erase you from existence. She didn't have to give a f*ck about anyone and HERE WE ARE~
The best thing you can do is looking for a fight with her in the moment you meet her with no hesitasion? Do you want to die that much? Do you know about survival? Did you skip that class maybe? (I'm going for a tea BECAUSE-)
It was so necessary to (be a little racist dear rich people and) insult the giant blue mother of your hero in his f*cking face and the people who are at least trying to do your job (which any of you losers did well, like ever, btw. When Sadida kingdom was about to be destroyed by the chaos of Ogrest what did you do?? Eh, where were you???)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jobs like protecting and saving your citizens from, nothing, being robbed and I don't know: imminent death??? I mean, really? Was that all you thought about in this situation? Being a d*ck was your best choice.
Tumblr media
These same guys here were talking about stolen freedom?? What freedom? The brotherhood of Tofu had to save your asses for like 3 season. 3 ovas and dozens of comics. The same people who criticize others actions but never assist and reunite when they are needed, Cause I don't know Rick, it seems a little fake....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yugo just met his mom and his sis and he already has the world of 12 hating them... Like wow, the rulers are all going to die in the hands of that kind of white demon/zombies of TLOU/soul suckers or whatever they are. And I really don't give a f*ck for any of them, ladies and gentlemen. Only the crowns are going to remain. (Down with the monarchy.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Weeeeeeeell.
You know what? I don't care what Yugo will do from this point. Nop, not a bit. But I'm with him to the end of everything. I will support you honey, I will defend you no matter what. I mean, I'll be totally okay if he decides to save the world for the third f*cking time and I also will be okay if in the end he prefers to let all these motherf*ckers die in an instant with no mercy and no regre-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it could even happen that Yugo loses someone important in season 4... (The same way I will lose my mind.) Hope that never happens, I just swear to god-
Anyway, Yugo fans, unite and brace yourselves.

May 19, 1536 - Anne Boleyn is Beheaded
"Good Christian people, I have come here to die. For according to the law, and by the law, I am judged to die and therefore, I will speak nothing against it. I am come hither to accuse no man, nor to speak of that whereof I am accused and condemned to die. But I pray God save the King and send him long to reign over you, for a gentler nor a more merciful prince was there never. And to me he was ever a good, a gentle, and sovereign lord. And if any person will meddle of my cause, I require them to judge the best. And thus I take my leave of the world and of you all, and I heartily desire you all to pray for me. O Lord, have mercy on me. To God, I commend my soul.' And then she knelt down, saying, 'To Christ I commend my soul, Jesu receive my soul', divers times, till that her head was stricken off with the sword.” - Anne's execution, as reported in Hall's Chronicle (1548)
""On a scaffold made there for the said execution, the said Queen Anne said thus: 'Masters, I here humbly submit me to the law, as the law hath judged me. And as for mine offenses, I here accuse no man; God knoweth them. I remit them to God, beseeching him to have mercy on my soul. And I beseech Jesu, save my sovereign and master, the King - the most godly, noble, and gentle prince that is, and long to reign over you.' Which words were spoken with a goodly smiling countenance. And this done, she knelt down on her knees and said: "To Jesu Christ, I commend my soul'. And suddenly, the hangman smote off her head at a stroke with a sword." - Anne's execution, as reported in Wriothesley's Chronicle (1559)
"And so she went to the place of her ordeal
To obey the will of justice,
Still showing a serene countenance,
As if she did not grieve for this world in any way;
For her coloring and face were such
That never before did she seem so beautiful ...
There was no one who does not have firm hope
That her spirit will not be in agony,
Given her great faith and wise patience,
Which rose above womanly courage.
Everyone, on the basis of her mightily steady end,
Judges her life to have been prudent
And believes they have committed a great offense
In having thought so ill of her." - Lancelot de Carle's The Story of the Fall of Anne Boleyn (1536, trans. Joann Dellaneva)
"Anne, the late Queen, suffered with sword this day within the Tower upon a new scaffold and died boldly. Jesu take them [i.e. Anne and the five men] to His mercy if it be His will." - John Husee to Lord Lisle, May 19, 1536

House of the Dragon 2x03: Quotes - Part. I
"- He is the basest of villains. He sullies the grave of his brother. (Jacaerys Velaryon) - I cannot fault him for keeping his oath. (Rhaenyra) - Otto Hightower would never have allowed this. Hotter blood has prevailed, I think. The young men have taken the bit in their teeth. They wish to punish to avenge. Soon they will not even remember what it was that began the war in the first place. (Rhaenys) - That is easy enough. They usurped my throne. (Rhaenyra) - That is one answer. Or was it when the child was beheaded? Or when Aemond killed Luke... or when Luke took Aemond's eye? We teeter now at the point where none of it will matter. And the desire to kill and burn takes hold and reason is forgotten. There may be another way. Alicent Hightower. (Rhaenys) - When last we met, Alicent said I would make a fine queen. You've seen what has happened since then. (Rhaenyra) - There is no war so hateful to the gods as a war between kin. And no war so bloody as a war between dragons. (Rhaenys) - What she did... (Rhaenyra) - It is not her but the men around her who seek bloodshed. (Rhaenys) - She permitted it. (Rhaenyra) - As you permitted the murder of a little boy in his bed." (Rhaenys)
"- You've appointed new knights to the Kingsguard, Your Grace. (Ser Criston) - To replace those we lost. The last one needlessly, some might say. (Aegon II) - Ser Arryk was awarded the great duty of ending Rhaenyra's challenge. He failed to discharge it. (Ser Criston) - He failed because the scheme was rash. (Alicent) - Perhaps, Your Grace, but we cannot all hide in our castles waiting for war to come to us. (Ser Criston) - As now it surely will. (Alicent) - As now, it already has. House Bracken took it upon themselves to attack the Backwoods, who declared for the pretender. Lord Samwell Blackwood himself is slain. (Aemond) - Good. First blood in our name. (Aegon II) - Both sides took heavy losses, Your Grace. I'm not entirely certain we can declare this a victory. (Tyland Lannister) - The Blackwoods and the Brackens have feuded for centuries. This is nothing more than an excuse for them to indulge their ancient grudge. It's no true war. (Jasper Wylde) - Call it what you will... I call it war. And so will Dragonstone. (Aegon II) - The question is, what are we going to do about it? (Alicent) - We send a raven to Lord Tully. (Grand Maester Orwyle) - These houses are his vassals, are they not? He must control them. (Alicent) - Lord Grover Tully is a flaccid, old fool who couldn't control his cock in a cunny. Begging your pardon, Your Grace. (Jasper Wylde) - Do you have any better suggestions, Lord Jasper? (Aegon) - This council must rediscover the discipline it lately had if it's to be of any use. (Alicent) - We will add their numbers to our own and then turn west. Where I will enlist the Brackens, subdue the Riverlands, and take Harrenhal. (Ser Criston) - That is precisely why you must remain, brother. It's a brave thought, but we cannot risk your loss. (Aemond) - I'm as fearsome as any of them." (Aegon II)
"- You saved my life. What is the life of a queen worth these days? (Mysaria) - Hm, you wish to be rewarded. (Rhaenyra) - As, I would think, you would wish to reward me. (Mysaria) - What price would you set? (Rhaenyra) - A place at your court. (Mysaria) - You said your earnest desire was to flee Westeros. (Rhaenyra) - And you let me go. You showed me grace when you could have withheld it. I'm not often surprised. (Mysaria) - One turn for another, then. (Rhaenyra) - I know the workings of the Red Keep, and the movements of those who serve there. That is worth more than gold to you now. (Mysaria) - And what is my worth to you? (Rhaenyra) - I would punish the Hightowers for what they have done. To me... to those who served me. But more than that, I know the struggles of the smallfolk of King's Landing. They will be ruled either by you or by the usurper. And only one of you has shown yourself to be merciful. (Mysaria) - Well, I hope you do not confuse mercy with pliancy. (Rhaenyra) - Are they always like this? (Mysaria) - Seasmoke, my late lord husband's dragon. He's grown restless of late. We cannot know why. (Rhaenyra) - Maybe he's lonely." (Mysaria)
"- You must take the little ones further. To Pentos, I think. (Rhaenyra) - Where my mother died. (Rhaena) - It is safer than anywhere in Westeros. Write to Prince Reggio. If he will have you, then go to him. I am sorry to put this upon you. It breaks my heart to send my boys away, not knowing when I will see them again. But you have seen what may befall them here I need you to be the mother to them that I cannot. Teach them, train them, guard them as a dragon guards her eggs." (Rhaenyra)
"- I've survived many a battle. I do not mean to be felled by poisoned peas. (Daemon) - I'll admit that my cock's peas aren't exactly the stuff of legend, but poison? (Simon Strong) - Well, it's an easy way to kill a dragonrider. (Daemon) - If you've not yet surmised, you are welcome here. (Simon) - And what of your lord, Larys Strong, hm? He who sits at the false court of Aegon? (Daemon) - Larys Clubfoot is no lord of mine. He is a scourge upon this castle and this family. Do you not think it's strange that his father.... my nephew, Lord Lyonel, perished by fire? And his son, too, here in this damp place? It was the first fire here since Balerion ended the line of Harren the Black. Even in the summer, we struggle to light the hearths. So, no, you will find no loyalty to Larys Strong here, my prince. (Simon) - Your Grace. (Daemon) - Forgive me. Um.. I'd only assumed that as consort... (Simon) - Then we are reminded of the perilousness of assumption. (Daemon) - Indeed. Your grace. (Daemon) - Harrenhal is the largest castle in the Seven Kingdoms. Or perhaps that has escaped your attention. (Daemon) - But it is also, not to be argumentative, in something of a state of disrepair since your forbear incinerated much of it with his dragon. (Simon) - Well, that is precisely why we must bring it into a state of repair. (Daemon) - Even if we possessed the coin, my prince... Your Grace, to what possible end? (Simon) - There are 40'000 swords in the Riverlands, the largest undeclared host in the realm. Only Harrenhal is a size enough to garrison them. (Daemon) - You should know that a substantial number of those swords have now declared and are presently at war. Houses Bracken and Blackwood have long detested one another. (Simon) - Why? (Daemon) - Oh, well... the answer to that is... lost in time. Sin begets sin begets sin. (Simon) - Summon your lord paramount so that I may treat with him myself and turn them to our cause. (Daemon) - That would be Lord Grover Tully, but he grows frail. It's said that he can no longer speak.... nor seal his bowels. Begging your pardon for the impression. His grip on his bannermen is weak. They feel they can do as they please. I will speak with him nonetheless. (Simon) - People should obey their liege lord... whatever his condition. Perhaps the presence of the crown and a dragon will sharpen minds around these parts. (Daemon) - Might I ask, Your Grace.... if you are successful, well, when you are successful... what then? (Germund Strong) - We march on King's Landing and take the throne. (Daemon) - The throne. (Simon) - It's a big chair made of swords." (Daemon)
"- How exhilarating to arrive at court after three long months on the road to find my lord father, who served three kings faithfully, unseated as Hand of the King. And by a man from such modest beginnings. What a giddying ascent the gods have bestowed on you." (Ser Gwayne Hightower)
"- May the Seven guide you, good knight... and lead you not into shadow and death. (Alicent) - I thank Your Grace for her prayers." (Ser Criston)
"- Then we must seize the hour and act before our enemy does. They have penetrated our castle walls, and now the Riverlands are aflame after the Battle at the Burning Mill. (Lord Celtigar) - How fares Prince Daemon with our army? (Rhaenyra) - There has been no word from Prince Daemon, Your Grace. (Maester Gerardys) - Then we must press what advantage we do have. (Ser Alfred Broome) - And what is that? (Rhaenyra) - Dragons. Send them all out. Start turning Green strongholds to our cause and burn those who resist. (Ser Alfred Broome) - No. If dragons begin fighting dragons, we invite our own destruction. Fear of it is in itself a weapon. (Rhaenyra) - The Greens will make the same calculation. The value of a sword is not within its scabbard. (Ser Alfred Broome) - We will secure victory with armies, not with dragons alone. The Greens understand that. The Vale and the North will send men. We must give Daemon time. (Rhaenyra) - Ah, Your Grace, you have witnessed firsthand just how vulnerable you are. Prince Daemon is abroad, and Aegon's factions are enraged at the death of his son. You have never been so exposed. (Ser Alfred Broome) - Perhaps it is time for you to think about secreting yourself somewhere safe, while we remain here as a source of distraction for the enemy. (Lord Celtigar) - You propose to conduct the war in my absence. (Rhaenyra) - It would merely be a precaution... (Lord Celtigar) - It would be treason. You are fortunate you took it no further. (Rhaenyra) - This council would do well to remember that their queen wears the crown of my grandsire, Jaehaerys the Conciliator. A prudent ruler, the wisest of Targaryen kings, whose reign outlasted every other... even Aegon the Conqueror's." (Rhaenys)
"- It would displease neither Rhaenyra nor the gods if Rhaena were named heir to Driftmark. (Rhaenys) - Rhaena? Lord of the Tides? The girl knows nothing of ships, nor even of dragons. (Corlys) - There is Rhaena or there is Joffrey. Both soon to be far from the creak of ships and the ocean's roar. (Rhaenys) - Then we must hope to see our way forward in time... (Corlys) - And if there is no time? We are at war, Corlys (Rhaenys) - If something were to befall you... (Rhaenys) - Then... it is well that I am a good sailor. (Corlys)

Can you please pray for me im suffering too much and i am very suicidal. Thank you so so much. <3
Of course, may God bless you and have mercy on you. May He send you the comfort and strength that you need. Please also do try your best to reach out to people in your life about this, preferably a doctor if possible or look into a mental health support service that you can call or send an email to. It's always a good idea to have multiple forms of support that are aware of how you're currently feeling. And charitable mental health resources might be able to help you to engage with accessible resources and support. I know that at least here, some of them do offer workshops or free counselling and support that you can access.
I'm going to attach some prayers under the read more, hopefully some of them will be of help to you. Please also check my mental health tag, as I do share a lot of workbooks and other resources and apps that you might find beneficial to engage with. A lot of these resources are free.
Prayer against Depression: Prayer to the Mother of God
O my beloved Queen, my hope, O Mother of God, protector of orphans and protector of those who are hurt, the saviour of those who perish, and the consolation of all who are in distress: Thou seest my misery, thou seeset my sorrow and my loneliness. Help me; I am powerless. Give me strength. Thou knowest what I suffer, thou knowest my grief. Lend me thy hand, for who else can be my hope but thee, my protector and my intercessor before God? I have sinned before thee and before all people. Be thou my Mother, my consoler, my helper. Protect me and save me; chase grief away from me; chase away my lowness of heart and my despondency. Help me, O Mother of my God!
Prayer against Depression and Sorrow
O Greatly-merciful Master, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me and cleanse me from every sadness and disturbance and cowardice. Drive away from me every spiritual choking and demonic sorrow, that I sense in my body and my soul. For You are our Joy, and the Hope of all the ends of the earth, and those far off at sea. Be merciful to me, O Master, upon my sins. Take from me the heavy burden of sin and despair. Drive far away from me every sadness and laziness. Confirm me in Your Love, and with unassailable hope and unshakable faith in You, through the intercessions of Your Spotless Mother, and all Your Saints. Amen.
Prayer for Mental Health
O Master, Lord my God, in Whose hands is my destiny: Help me according to Thy mercy, and leave me not to perish in my transgressions, nor allow me to follow them who place desires of the flesh over those of the spirit. I am Thy creation; disdain not the work of Thy hands. Turn not away; be compassionate and humiliate me not, neither scorn me, O Lord, as I am weak. I have fled unto Thee as my Protector and God. Heal my soul, for I have sinned against Thee. Save me for Thy mercy's sake, for I have cleaved unto Thee from my youth; let me who seeks Thee not be put to shame by being rejected by Thee for mine unclean actions, unseemly thoughts, and unprofitable remembrances. Drive away from me every filthy thing and excess of evil. For Thou alone art holy, alone mighty, and alone immortal, in all things having unexcelled might, which, through Thee, is given to all that strive against the devil and the might of his armies. For unto Thee is due all glory, honor and worship: To the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen (source)
Prayer to St. Anastasia the Greatmartyr
O holy saint Anastasia, healer and minister to captives, who did suffer greatly as a martyr while relieving the suffering of the poor and the sick, pray for us who are ill in soul and in body. Relieve us by your intercessions from the illnesses of our minds, from all evil temptation that seeks to disturb us, and from the suffering of our many afflictions. We ask these things boldly of you as you boldly approach the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ who alone is the Healer and Lover of Mankind. Amen.
Your lamb Anastasia, calls out to You, O Jesus, in a loud voice: ‘I love You, my Bridegroom, and in seeking You I endure suffering. In baptism, I was crucified so that I might reign in You, and I died so that I might live with You. Accept me as a pure sacrifice, for I have offered myself in love.’ Through her prayers save our souls, since You are merciful.
Prayers to Saint Dymphna (These can be said individually, or you could put them all together)
I turn to you, dear virgin and martyr, confident of your power with God and of your willingness to take my cause into your hands. I praise and bless the Lord for giving you to us as patron of the nervous and emotionally disturbed. I firmly hope that through your kind intercession He will restore my lost serenity and peace of mind. May He speak to my heart and reassure me: "My peace I give you. Let not your heart be troubled nor let it be afraid." Pray for me, dear St. Dymphna, that my nervous and emotional turmoil may cease, and that I may again know serenity and personal peace. Amen.
I appeal to you in my illness, dear St. Dymphna. I would be so grateful for a total and happy recovery, for the blessed gift of health in every fiber of my being. May the Lord Jesus, who mercifully healed the sick during His earthly days, have pity on me and make me well again. Ask Him to command sickness to depart and grant me a full measure of health, that I may rejoice in giving Him glory and praise. Amen.
Glorious St. Dymphna, you are the patron of the nervous and emotionally disturbed. I am certain, however, that your charity embraces everyone. I am certain that you lend a listening ear to any prayer offered for any special need. You will, I am sure, take my problem to heart and pray for me that it may be happily settled. (Here mention your special problem or difficulty.) You will plead for me and obtain the help I need. Already I offer you my sincere and grateful thanks, so great is my confidence that God will hear and answer your prayers. Amen. St. Dymphna, Virgin and Martyr, pray for us. St. Dymphna, patron of nervous and emotional illnesses, pray for us. St. Dymphna, crowned for the glory in heaven, pray for us. St. Dymphna, faithful to your covenant with Christ, pray for us. St. Dymphna, precious in the eyes of the Lord, pray for us. St. Dymphna, our helper in every need, pray for us. St. Dymphna, our friend at heave's court, pray for us.

About Alicent
"Lady Alicent of House Hightower, the clever and lovely eighteen-year-old daughter of the King’s Hand, the girl who had read to King Jaehaerys as he lay dying." - Fire & Blood, Heirs of the Dragon, a Question of Succession.
From the beginning, you can see how evil Alicent was, so so evil.
"Princess Rhaenyra poured for her stepmother at the feast, and Queen Alicent kissed her and named her “daughter.” - Fire & Blood, Heirs of the Dragon, a Question of Succession.
God, she hated Rhaenyra from the beginning. Rhaenyra never stood a chance, poor child.
"Though many lords and knights sought her favour, the princess had eyes only for Ser Criston Cole, the young champion of the Kingsguard and her constant companion. “Ser Criston protects the princess from her enemies, but who protects the princess from Ser Criston?” - Fire & Blood, Heirs of the Dragon, a Question of Succession.
This is absolutely disgusting, Alicent mistrusts someone that she didn't know and would be spending a long time next to her stepdaughter, who she could clearly see that said stepdaughter had a crush on.
"Queen Alicent went pale when she heard what he had done, crying, “Mother have mercy on us all.” - Fire & Blood, The Dying of the Dragons, A Son for a Son.
She cried tears of joy when she heard that Lucerys was dead, so evil.
"Queen Alicent echoed him. “Nor will they spare my children,” she declared. “Aegon and his brothers are the king’s trueborn sons, with a better claim to the throne than her brood of bastards. Daemon will find some pretext to put them all to death. Even Helaena and her little ones. One of these Strongs put out Aemond’s eye, never forget. He was a boy, aye, but the boy is the father to the man, and bastards are monstrous by nature.” - Fire & Blood, The Dying of the Dragons, The Blacks and the Greens.
Alicent was so power-hungry, it's insane! She didn't want to relinquish power, you can clearly see it here. Alicent wanted to be Queen more than anything in the world, and she didn't want to give up.
"Queen Alicent, beloved of the smallfolk, placed her own crown upon the head of her daughter, Helaena, Aegon’s wife and sister. After kissing her cheeks, the mother knelt before the daughter, bowed her head, and said, “My Queen.” - Fire & Blood, The Dying of the Dragons, The Blacks and the Greens.
Everyone knows that Alicent hated her children, the smallfolk hated her, and that's why everyone called her that. Sometimes I can't believe that people can like her, she's one of the worst characters in ASOIAF.
"they knew it was the custom of Queen Helaena to bring her children to see their grandmother every evening before bed." - Fire & Blood, the Dying of the Dragons, A Son for a Son.
Poor Helaena, couldn't wait to get away from her awful mother. Helaena probably wished every single day that her half-sister and uncle would rescue her from her awful mother.
"Words of these plans soon reached the ears of the Dowager Queen, filling her with terror. Fearing for her sons, Queen Alicent went to the Iron Throne upon her knees, to plead for peace. This time the Queen in Chains put forth the notion that the realm might be divided; Rhaenyra would keep King’s Landing and the crownlands, the North, the Vale of Arryn, all the lands watered by the Trident, and the isles. To Aegon II would go the stormlands, the westerlands, and the Reach, to be ruled from Oldtown" - Fire & Blood, Dying of the Dragons, Rhaenyra Triumphant.
The audacity of Alicent! Wanting to end the war, and try to save her sons from Daemon and the dragon seeds. The throne belongs to Rhaenyra, Aegon had no right to even exist, much less rule anything. Come to think of it, Alicent only wanted power, that is all she ever wanted.
"One death may have been a mercy. The Dowager Queen Alicent of House Hightower, second wife of King Viserys I and mother to his sons, Aegon, Aemond, and Daeron, and his daughter Helaena, died on the same night as Lord Westerling, after confessing her sins to her septa. She had outlived all of her children and spent the last year of her life confined to her apartments, with no company but her septa, the serving girls who brought her food, and the guards outside her door. Books were given her, and needles and thread, but her guards said Alicent spent more time weeping than reading or sewing. One day she ripped all her clothing into pieces. By the end of the year she had taken to talking to herself, and had come to have a deep aversion to the colour green. In her last days the Queen Dowager seemed to become more lucid. “I want to see my sons again,” she told her septa, “and Helaena, my sweet girl, oh…and King Jaehaerys. I will read to him, as I did when I was little. He used to say I had a lovely voice.” - Fire & Blood, Under the Regents, the Hooded Hand.
You can see here from her moments that she only thought about herself, she was only a power-hungry woman that only cares about herself, the original Cersei.
Tumblr media
art credit: Magali Villeneuve
All jokes aside, Alicent isn't the "evil stepmother" that some people want her to be. Book!Alicent is a good person, just because you can't read her inner monologue, doesn't mean that we can't see in her actions. She was always a mother first, that's the tragedy of her story.

"You are Arya of Winterfell, daughter of the North. You told me you could be strong. You have the wolf blood in you." (Arya X ASOS)
The old gods legitimately spoke to Arya using Ned's voice in order to give her strength to leave Harrenhal. So the gods of the North is using the former Lord of Winterfell's voice while calling Arya a "daughter of the North" apparently means nothing ? Seriously though, if Sansa had a similar scene Stansas would never shut up about it and claim it's proof for Sansa ruling the North, but apparently when it's Arya it means nothing ? Typical. Just how Arya naming her direwolf after a queen and said direwolf is leading a huge pack of wolves also means nothing even though we know the direwolves names are foreshadowing for their owners, means nothing as well. And this isn't even accounting the fact that Arya fits Varys' ideal ruler speech, and all of the other rulership/queen foreshadowing Arya has which is way more than what Sansa has. Arya has also expressed wanting to build castles, is the current Lady of Winterfell by proxy, has enacted Northern Justice, has offered protection and food to a man of the Night's Watch, and has major themes of mercy, justice, and service/humility, which are all essential to being a good ruler. Stansas could only dream that Sansa had all of this, but she doesn't, and I think GRRM has put so much in Sansa's way of ever ruling the North that it has to mean something. So unless Sansa jumps through twenty complicated hoops and changes who she is fundamentally than it's highly unlikely she'll ever rule the North.
(about this ask)
"I think GRRM has put so much in Sansa's way of ever ruling the North...."
Let's sit and think about this for a moment. LF, the evil mastermind, is currently scheming how to retake Winterfell with Sansa, is working to get her the great fighting force of the KotV, and you're telling me that Martin is placing obstacles in Sansa's path re: getting North/ruling it? We have a character who has successfully schemed his way from nothing to positions of great power working to install Sansa as leader of the North and you want me to believe there's nothing to indicate she's gonna be in a position of power? We have a prophecy about Sansa slapping LF's head on Winterfell's Wall, so we know the girl goes North, we know she out-maneuvers that bastard, and you're telling me that's Martin's way of indicating it’s impossible for her to end up ruling the North?
Tumblr media
I deliberately didn't use general tags on my other posts because I know y'all screenshot anything in the anti tags to harass us, and I don't like arguing anymore because it's such a waste of time. I politely disagreed with you, I told you your effort is wasted on me, I don't know why you're persisting. In my last message, I tried to explain that all of our beloved POVs are used to discuss certain themes. I stipulated that a large chunk of Arya's story involves justice/mercy, but explained that since so many characters examine the same idea, we can't say "hey, hey! Justice=leadership=endgame queen!" I mean, Dany and Cersei are the women with experience ruling and both of them are gonna end the series dead (regardless of how you interpret Dany, tragic hero/fall arc etc, everyone knows it ends badly for her). 🤷🏻‍♀️
"Stansas could only dream...."
I don't need to dream. Sansa watched Ned handle things at court while hand, she's learning how to work people from LF, she is running a household, she's taking care of a kid, she's now being forced to charm a loser....honestly, this is stuff that is just as important for a woman to know if she is to be LoW or a queen, and let's not even get into how, while a prisoner herself she intervenes to save a life, how, although she is powerless, Martin writes her to inspire people to be more, to be better, to loyalty and protection. Don't try to pretend that Sansa doesn't have gobs of stuff that are just as easily used to defend spec she ends up in a leadership role in the North. In addition to LF’s plans we even have the other smartpants Tyrion thinking about what a great queen she would be. We’re meant to draw some conclusions from that. 😅 And, considering Martin's anti war/anti violence stance, her compassion for her enemies and her mercy are why thematically she would be part of a better future for the North.
But, we have the revelation that King Bran is Martin's endgame to factor in. I thought Sansa was destined to be a queen, King Bran has made me question it (why would Westerosi Lords select a Stark to lead them if the North goes free/has it's own queen?). So, I now look at what we might otherwise call foreshadowing with a little more skepticism. Jon literally has a raven screeching, "King" in his ear and we have arguments about a) his legitimacy and b) whether or not he will be a ruler of any kind pretty routinely, so I'm not targeting Arya when I say, nah, that's not foreshadowing. My favs are Jon and Sansa, and I now rethink what certain passages indicate for them.
Maybe it would help if you think of it this way. This isn't some sort of competition in which whoever has the more popular theory will magically manifest it or if you harass people into silence their theory will be wrong. Martin has known his ending for decades, I don't think I will ever get a chance to read it, so the only "winning" there is for us is to enjoy the fandom experience. It is a waste of your time (and mine!) to harass strangers on the internet when none of us will ever be right or proven wrong. Make your peace with us all disagreeing, forever being dissatisfied, and go have fun! The only ending I will ever get is not one that made me happy, but you don't see me making that other people's problem.

[i'll crawl home to her] pt 1: ser - yara greyjoy x brienne of tarth
Tumblr media
Summary: Brienne of Tarth, after escaping the grasp of the Ironborn queen, finds herself wandering back to Yara Greyjoy instead of the safety offered to her at Winterfell.
Warnings: mature content, smut to come, drinking, f/f, lesbianism (but that's a blessing), implied hostage situation, canon divergent
Word Count: 1.2k
A/N: THEY DIDN'T LET BRIENNE AND YARA FUCK BECAUSE THEY KNEW IT WOULD KILL ME! Anyways, I randomly thought of this, and it was going to be one part, but I decided to do a mini-fic and do like 2-3 parts, depending on my heart's desire. Happy reading :)
NO MINORS BEYOND THIS POINT
Not many men were able wrangle Brienne of Tarth. She was six feet and three inches of pure skill, and she carried the heart and honor of a warrior that often saved her when her strength could not.
This honor took her to the ends of the earth, wandering aimlessly, over and under and around and through every bit of trouble imaginable, yet she always emerged unscathed. But when the task was completed, all ends tied and everything said and done, Brienne would hesitate.
And wait.
And hesitate.
And wait.
She was nothing without a job.
So the soldier would make her home for the night in brothels and under trees. Occasionally, she would crawl into the arms of another knight just to find a warm bed or another task to busy her. She lived to serve, to be faithful to something or someone, and until she could find another lord to bend the knee for, she would wander.
Sometimes this wandering led to a fair bit of trouble.
Brienne wasn't entirely sure how she had gotten there that night that they met. Boats weren't really her thing - she was more favorable to the stability of land and a horse, so to anyone that asked, she had no idea what she was doing there, drunk and sword-to-throat with some Ironborn brute.
He was but a man, and so it was easy to pin him to the wall when he started to get a bit too handsy with her. Cockiness wasn't really something Brienne admired in a man. She would much rather a man shut the fuck up, if you would be so inclined to hear her say so, but this poor sailor hadn't heeded Brienne's warnings. Unfortunately for him, she wasn't really one for mercy this late at night.
Brienne had planned to hang him from the mast, in all honesty, and she would've gotten away with it, slipping into the night without a trace. Not many men could wrangle Brienne of Tarth.
But Yara Greyjoy was no man.
It was embarrassing to admit the raw force behind Yara's sword surprised Brienne caused her confidence to stutter, then her own sword. She had fallen much easier to Yara than she had any man, and perhaps that stirred something a bit more complex than shame within Brienne.
That was eight months ago, three months since she had escaped the grasp of the Ironborn queen, and only just a few weeks since she had safely saw Sansa Stark to Winterfell. And here she was once again, sitting in a tavern or brothel of sorts, ale in hand.
It wasn't that the men (or the women, for that matter) trying to seduce Brienne were particularly boring, but rather her mind was preoccupied with the leaving and the waiting, her heart had been skipping every other beat for hours, and she was fucking tired.
"Won't you stay?" Sansa asked, taking Brienne's hand between both of her own. "You would have a place here, you know."
Sansa had said it so earnestly, with so much devotion and promise in her eyes. Gods, she had looked just like Catelyn, and for a moment, Brienne saw the both of them swearing that oath all over again.
She saw it in the way Sansa smiled up at her with those lakes of eyes. The curve of Sansa's pink lips against her milky cheeks, the regality in her new robes -- watching over Sansa, caring for Sansa, loving Sansa... it was a future Brienne knew she would be happy in. It was the promise of a home. She would not have to roam Westeros any longer. Still, something lingered in the back of Brienne's mind that made her hesitate, as she always did.
It was a difficult offer to say no to, especially knowing the respect and security that came with staying with Sansa, the queen in the North. It had ripped at Brienne's heart, tore her throat raw with dryness. It was a solid deal, probably the best thing to ever happen to her, but it wasn't enough.
Brienne knew she was fucking herself over. Her selfishness would be the death of her. An offer like this was not easy to come by, especially for a woman knight. She was robbing herself of an easy, good life with a powerful woman who cared for her in a place where both of their presences were revered.
It had been difficult, but not impossible, to say no. But the guilt followed her out of Winterfell.
"Another one," Brienne said, slamming her pint on the table. She pushed her palms into her eyes, trying to rub out her exhaustion.
The man behind the bar looked at her curiously.
"Do y'have coin to pay for all this?" He asked, rubbing a glass with a towel in a rather stereotypical fashion. He was about twenty or so years older than her, but he looked down at her in almost disbelief, mockery playing on his lips as he took her in.
Brienne pulled her hands away and scoffed.
"What, do you think I'm trying to rob you?" She said, half joking, but it didn't quite reach the bartender. The man raised his eyebrow. He did not pour her another glass.
She rolled her eyes, then reaching below into the pockets of her armor. Inside was tucked a small leather pouch, and she fished out a small stack of coins given to her by Sansa before she had left. She slammed a few on the bar top, then gave the man an exasperated look.
He took the coin and looked it over in his hand for a long moment before he refilled her stein.
"Thank you," she said sarcastically as he handed it back to her. She raised the cup up in a satirical toast, and the bartender chuckled, but left her be with her fourth refill of the night.
Then her fifth, and her sixth.
Brienne was about to call it a night. She had no reason to believe this particular bar would be the place where she would find what she was looking for other than the history that was attached to it. She was searching with twigs of clues at this point, but something indescribable within her overtook her senses, packed her few bags, and forced her return to this shithole.
Halfway through her sixth pint, the smell of piss started to irritate her beyond belief, and she reached into her pocket again. She slid her last payment of the night across the bartop and sighed as she stood.
"Finally calling it a night?" The man asked, still cleaning those stupid glasses. Brienne nodded silently, and he wished her well as she began to work her way to the exit of the bar.
Brienne's head pounded as she dodged an impressively-dirty man sneering at her, sidestepped a woman with quite a few missing teeth reaching for her sword, and squeezed through a few sweaty couples getting rather promiscuous in the dining area. Just as the door was in view, she was suddenly cut off.
A short, blonde beauty stepped in front of her, smiling sweetly as she looked over Brienne from bottom to top.
"Excuse us, ser," a soft voice whispered from behind Brienne. Before she could react, she felt a set of hands reach around and run up her front.
Brienne opened her mouth to say something, cheeks bright red.
"Oh, she is no ser," the blonde woman said, licking her plush lips. Brienne tried to speak again, but her eyes wandered over the woman's revealing, lavender-colored dress that was more likely a few strips of fabric covering her most private areas. The blonde giggled and cupped Brienne's chin, then turned her around.
The redheaded woman now in front of Brienne looked pleased.
"Oh, this is quite a delight now, isn't it?" She asked, pressing her front to Brienne's cool armor. Brienne swallowed heavily.
"I am sorry, I think you have mistaken me -"
"For whom?" The blonde woman cooed in Brienne's ear.
"Perhaps dessert," The red-haired woman teased as they both guided Brienne farther away from the door. Brienne opened her mouth again, but the redheaded woman covered her lips with a finger, and drunken Brienne blushed furiously.
"We would be happy to make dessert out of you," one of them whispered, Brienne couldn't tell whom. She considered staying here within the embrace of the two courtesans, and she let them back her into a wall. After all, would it really be so bad to be lavished by two women on a god-awful night like this?
Or perhaps just the one, as the blonde woman seemed to have slipped away, but Brienne was more than happy to make do with the redheaded lady in front of her.
Brienne, sighed, and shook her head to let out her nerves. Then, she bent down, just enough to slam her lips against the woman's. The lady gasped against Brienne's mouth and let Brienne wrap her strong hands around the other's much smaller figure, pulling her closer.
The woman tasted like something sweet mixed with something deliciously sour, like a tart apple, and Brienne let herself melt into the embrace, eyes slipping shut and even growling softly as the woman's lips wandered to Brienne's throat.
Her fingers carded through the smaller woman's hair, cradling the other in the crook of her neck. When the woman bit down on Brienne's collarbone, she couldn't help but let out a low moan, eyes shooting open with surprise.
For a second, Brienne's eyes watered, making it impossible to see, until the thrill wound back up inside her and cleared her vision.
That was when Brienne saw her.
Though her back was to Brienne, it was impossible to mistake her for anyone else. Strolling in with a group of loud men following behind her, bartender preparing her a drink without any order, her raspy voice calling confidently for a particular woman, but especially by the way she pulled a seat back by the top of it and sat herself on it like a king, legs spreading and arms opening to welcome the blonde woman from earlier into her lap.
Brienne's body stiffened against the redheaded woman, and for a few minutes, she watched Yara Greyjoy engage with the prostitute.
She watched the way Yara ran her tongue down and bury her face between the woman's breasts. Both laughed at Yara's little party trick, and Yara leaned back, taking a sip of her ale as the blonde woman straddling her began to slip the top of her dress off, revealing her upper half.
Brienne watched with a burning storm in her stomach as Yara ran her hand up the woman's chest, pinching at her nipple to feel for a reaction. The woman whined, then grabbed ahold of Yara's neck, bringing their bodies closer and pressing against the Ironborn lady. Yara chuckled and slipped her hand downwards, still relentlessly searching for responses.
The blonde woman pulled Yara closer, and Yara curled into her, head resting on her shoulder as her hand slipped up the woman's upper thigh and into her dress. Brienne felt her anxiety boil, running down her spine and into her hands that clenched at the base of the redheaded woman's back.
Her eyes narrowed, breathing growing heavy in a way that had the redhead woman giggling as she watched the woman in Yara's lap gasp, back curling.
Yara looked up at the blonde woman, smirking and whispering into her ear. Brienne glared as she smiled sweetly back down at Yara, saying something coyly that had Yara barking with laughter, shaking her head. For a moment, Brienne caught a glimpse of Yara's full face, and she felt months of tension and complexity swell inside of her.
Her heart thumped so loudly she worried it might burst out of her chest, and Brienne nearly choked on the lump in her throat when Yara's deep eyes locked with hers.

Do you have any simple resources on learning how to pray the rosary? My family are all Catholic but never passed on any knowledge to me and I have not put much effort into learning before. I'd like to learn now. Thank you.
I was going to link you to a how-to but I’d rather just explain it.
I wrote this from mostly memory. For a more in depth explanation I’d recommend researching on your own. There are so many things I left out.
Tumblr media
You begin with the crucifix on the bottom and do the sign of the cross “in the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit” and it starts on your forehead for father, your chest for son, and your left shoulder for holy and right shoulder for spirit.
Then you say the Apostle’s Creed: I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Then you do three Hail Marys for an increase in faith, hope, and charity. I will include the prayers in the end.
You then begin with the first mystery (each set of mysteries corresponds for a day of the week) You will read the passage from the Bible and meditate on the fruit of the mystery. For example, the first sorrowful mystery is about Jesus praying the night before and becoming so stressed that beads of blood formed instead of sweat. The fruit of that mystery is obedience and you are meant to meditate on how that passage and obedience plays a role in your life.
You will pray the Our Father and then you will say 10 Hail Marys (a decade) while meditating on the mystery. Once you reach the tenth you will then pray Glory Be. After that you will pray Fatima’s Prayer (also known as the O My Jesus prayer) and then you will do the same thing with another mystery.
Once you reach the end of the rosary, there’s usually a connecting bead that corresponds. You will pray the Hail Holy Queen. Sometimes people end with a response, sometimes it just ends there. It just depends on you, your situation, or the group you pray in.
Prayers
Hail Mary
Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Our Father
Our Father who art in Heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Glory Be
Glory be to the father and to the son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
Fatima
Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sims. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of thy mercy.
Hail Holy Queen
Hail holy queen mother of mercy. Our life our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate thine eyes of mercy toward us. Show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, o loving, o sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us O holy mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
*all text in red indicates that it is meant to be said by everyone in a group setting. When by yourself, obviously you will pray both parts. When in a group, only the leader will say the words in white.

im making a good ending au :)
everyone lives, and the royal family rebuilds their home. Hallownest will survive, and become glorious once more.
Under their careful gaze, the Silent King, Lord of Shades rules with a kind and merciful hand. Determined to be the opposite of their father in every aspect, the King walks among their people, personally overseeing the rebuilding efforts and aiding their people wherever they need. Although they cannot speak, their presence speaks volumes as they work tirelessly to right the wrongs of the past.
Queen Hornet the Sharp earned her title through her sharp mind, wit, and blade. Able to reunite the long-warring kingdoms of Hallownest and Deepnest, she acts as the kingdom's judge, enacting swift justice upon wrongdoers and enemies, a vow to protect her people kept. Firm, yet fair, she is revered as the Kingdom's Needle.
Once discarded and now born again, Hallow the Beloved was personally finally granted their long-earned title of Knight of Hallownest by their siblings. They refused their offered place at the throne in favor of being free to explore Hallownest and offer their servitude to the people they saved. Eternally grateful, they have truly earned the title of Beloved by the people. They also serve at the Archives, giving their knowledge of the past to the Archive's new overseers, Professors Lemm and Quirrel.
After mining at the Crystal Peaks resumed, Dirtmouth's population boomed as survivors sought to begin again away from the corpse of the kingdom. It was renamed Godmouth, apt as it became the home of three gods.
Eager to represent a new era, Godmouth is now the nation's new capitol, and a palace was constructed for the King, Queen, and Knight to live in. It houses a great commons hall, with gates open to the outside for any citizen to visit for commerce, social gatherings, and a place to rest. Grimm is known to visit often, happily entertaining the populace with dazzling shows of flame. This is to the Queen's chagrin, but the King seems to delight in Grimm's visits. Knight Hallow also sits in the hall often, quiet and contemplative, a ready friend to sit by and speak to for as long as one needs; their patience is infinite, and their very presence brings peace.

The moment Alicent cut her own palm and stained the feet of the Crone with her blood, Viserys’ heart stops and Alys begins a premature labor.
The queen tries to call for attendants and the maester for help, but something has her frozen to her spot as the Whore of Harrenhal braces herself at the foot of the Mother’s altar and calls for the Gods in the old Andal Tongue.
Hours pass or minutes, she cannot tell as tone feels as still as the statues encircling them.
Alys only grunts, as if used to the pain Alicent never got used to.
Aegon’s birth had been difficult, but quick, within the hour he had been expelled from her. Helaena’s had been easy compared to her brother’s even if she took half a day to come. Aemond’s had been long and painful, longer than his sister because of the scant ten moons between them.
And yet it did not compare to Daeron, Daeron who is her least troubled child and yet he nearly killed her as he came drenched in her blood and ruining her womb in his wake.
He had almost died with his cord around his little neck, the maester had even suggested they cut him out even when she was still alive.
It had been Rhaenyra who had stopped them.
Who ordered them to save her and let the baby die if they must.
She has three children already, they do not need another brother, they need their mother.
Somehow knowing she owed her for saving her made it all worse.
Alys Rivers births something that slithers in the shadows, like a snake or a worm.
Somehow, the Queen knows it has slithered into Rhaenyra’s rooms, into her womanhood and settled inside her as it consumed the life and soul of innocent babe within her.
When it ends both women are panting, cold with sweat and yet there is nothing except the cut on her palm to prove it was all real.
“They give life and take it; I am but their humble servant. With life comes death and with death comes life.” Alys says as she wipes away her sweat with her handkerchief. “If it makes you feel better, your grace, Princess Visenya would not have lived and her mother would have joined her in two years, you only hastened their reunion.”
Alicent pretends none of this happened as he kisses Rhaenyra’s cheek before they depart.
Had she lived, they would have been forced to kill her.
She never wanted this, but she needed to do it.
It is better this way.
A mercy, even.

Aemma was home a week when her grandmother came.
She had stayed behind for some matters regarding a potential betrothal between Joffrey and Lord Royce’s daughter, Rhea.
They had gotten along, with Joff wanting to write to little Rhea if mother permits it.
Aemma doesn’t know who hates it more, Lord Royce or Daemon.
This they laugh about when mother is abed because Gerardys fears all this stress has brought upon some minor pains for her.
When Meleys roars as she comes fast as fire. Mother disregards the twinges in her lower back to receive her.
If she is flying like that it means grandfather has died.
“I come will ill news.” The Red Queen said as she comes dressed in her bronze and steel armor with an old cloak about her shoulders.
“Princess Rhaenys, might we hope for news of Lord Corlys’ recovery?” mother asked demanding they attend to her at once and call for a meeting.
“The king is dead. I grieve your loss with you, Rhaenyra. My cousin was a good man.” Princess Rhaenys says as they wait for the lords to gather.
“When did he die?” mother asked heartbroken, looking paler as another contraction comes harder than before by the looks of it.
“A week or less, his death was hidden but the smell gave it away within the day.” Princess Rhaenys answered solemnly and knowing the words she says next will be the final nail on the coffin.
“There is more. Aegon has been crowned as his successor.”
Mother faints dead away and that is when they see the blood coming from her.
When the maesters tell her the baby is dead inside her, mother locks herself in the birthing room ignoring those who only wished to help her.
She rages, curses everyone including the dead babe inside her.
Syrax roars in an echo of her rider’s anguish as it drags on.
Sea Dragon Tower shakes with their screams and then it all stops.
They know what’s happened and yet no one speaks.
When Daemon breaks open the door, mother is dead with a monstrous thing filled with maggots in her arms.
“They killed her, they killed her and the babe. First Laena and now Rhaenyra.” Daemon says as he takes out his anger and grief on the nearest thing he could find. “The witch, they Rivers woman. I should have fucking known she was a shadow binder.”
Princess Rhaenyra was three and thirty when she died.
Syrax breaks out of her chains after the death of the woman who’s cradle, she once shared.
A week after her mother’s funeral, Aemma is crowned before the lords and smallfolk.
She wears white linen with no adornments whatsoever and no shoes to symbolize humility and purity of the soul as she walks from Dragonstone to the town and past it until they reach the black sand shores Daenys the Dreamer once kissed upon arrival.
She is cloaked in Targaryen colors as if she were a bride by her Lord Hand, the Sea Snake, while the Highest Septon in the Crownlands blesses her and anoints her with holy oils and denounces the High Septon for his corruption in the same breath.
He does not crown her, no, that honor belongs to the Queen Who Never Was and only her.
The crown is blessed as Helaena, flanked by Baela and Rhaena, carries a black velvet cushion where Queen Rhaenys’ Valyrian steel and ruby diadem rests.
“Long live Aemma the Great.” Her grandmother whispers as she crowns her with the Crown her father and Queen Alysanne had chosen for her.
Aemma Velaryon was seven and ten years old when she was crowned Aemma Targaryen, first of her name.
Or as history will know her: Aemma the Great.

Prayer to the Protection of the Mother Of God
O all-holy Virgin, Mother of the Lord of the hosts on high, Thou Queen of heaven and earth and almighty Defender of our country, accept from us Thine unworthy servants this song of praise and thanksgiving and bring our prayer up to the throne of Thy God and Son, that He be merciful towards our unrighteousness, and extend His grace to those who honour Thy name and venerate with faith and love Thy wonder-working ikon. For we are not worthy to be forgiven by Him hadst Thou, O Lady, not made Him merciful towards us, for all things from Him are possible to Thee. Therefore we run to Thee as Thou art our swift and undoubted Protector. Hear us who pray to Thee: overshadow us with Thine almighty veil and ask from Thy God and Son zeal and vigilance for our shepherds, wisdom and strength for the souls of those who govern our cities, righteousness and impartiality for our judges, understanding and humility for our leaders, love and concord for the married, obedience for our children, patience for those who have been offended, the fear of God for those that offend, stoutheartedness for the afflicted, restraint for those that rejoice, and for all of us the spirit of understanding and godliness, the spirit of mercy and meekness, the spirit of chastity and truth. Yea, O all-holy Lady, be merciful towards Thy feeble people: gather together the dispersed, guide on the right way those that have gone astray, uphold old age, make the young pure, bring up the children and look down upon all of us with the care of Thy merciful protection. Raise us from the depth of sin and enlighten the eyes of our hearts to see salvation. Be merciful to us both here and yonder, during our wandering in the land of this earth and at the Last Judgement of Thy Son: and make our fathers and brothers who have departed this life live the eternal life with the angels and all the saints. For Thou, O Lady, art the glory of those in heaven and the trust of those on earth. After God, Thou art the hope and Defender of all who flee to Thee with faith. We then pray to Thee and to Thee as our almighty Helper, do we commend ourselves and one another, now and for ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
O my most blessed Queen, my all-holy hope, Receiver of orphans and Defender of the strangers, Helper of those in poverty, Protector of the sick, behold my distress, behold my affliction. On all sides am I held by temptation, and there is none to defend me. Help me then as I am weak, feed me as I am a pilgrim, guide me as I have strayed, heal and save me as I lie without hope. For I have no other help, nor advocate nor comforter, save Thee, O Mother of all the afflicted and heavy laden. Look down then on me, a sinner lying in sickness, and protect me with Thine all-holy Veil, that I be delivered from all the ills surrounding me and may ever praise Thy Name that all men sing. Amen.

Mary I's Fight For The Throne
16th July - Mary is optimistic
Lord Wentworth arrives at Framlingham "to avoid the appearance of breaking his pledge, clad in splendid armour", 1 along with other men including Sir Richard Cavendish.
Mary is told Sir John Williams has proclaimed her queen in Oxfordshire 2, and when she learns of Edward Hastings and Edmund Peckham's rebellion sends scouts back with rewards, "so that when they had returned they could let their own people know that their efforts and their loyalty expanded with such resolution and eagerness for their sovereign were very welcome to her Highness; that she was now protected by forces of ample strength and took sure hope, God willing, for a future victory, but that the enemy was too near for her to use their forces or assistance." 3
Mary also receives a letter from the Mayor of Thetford requesting aid from rebels, presumably Northumberland's men. She tells them in a similar optimistic tone that "the expectation is that the pride of the enemy shall in such short space be abated, that they of Thetford may be out of all doubt of their conceived fear." 4
Meanwhile...
Jane writes to Justices of the Peace: "Trusty and well beloved, we greet you well. Albeit that our estate in this imperial Crown whereof we be actually and really possessed, as may appear by our procIamaction, wherein our title is published, is not or can be any wise doubtful to all such our good and faithful subjects, as, setting blind affection apart, do in reason and wisdom consider the very foundation and ground of our tytle, with the great commodities thereby coming thorough God's providence to the preservation of our common weale and policy, yet for that we understand the Ladye Marye doth not cease by Ietters in her name, provoked thereto by her adherents enemies of this realm, to publish and notify slandorously to divers of our subjects, matter derogatory to our title and dignity royal, with the slanders of certain of our nobility and council. We have thought meet to admonish and exhort you, as our true and faithful subjects, to remain fast in your obedience and duty to the imperial Crown of this realm, wheerof we have justly the possession, and not to be removed any ways from your duty by slanderous reports, or of Ietters dispersed abroad, either by the said Lady Marye, or by her adherents, for truly like as the nobility of realm, our Council, our prelates, our judges, and learned men, and others, good, wise, godly, and natural subjects, do remain fast and surely in their allegiance towards us, ready to adventure their lives, lands, and goods, for our defence, so can a great number of the same nobility, council, and judges truly testify to all the world in saving of their conscience, how carefully and earnestly the late king of famous memory, our dear cousin king Edward the sixth, from time to time motioned and provoked them partly by persuasions, partly commandments, to have such respect to his succession, if god should call him to his mercy without issue, as might be the preservation of the crown in the whole undefiled English blood. And therefore of his own mere motion, both by grant of his Ietters patents, and by declaration of his will, established the successors as it is declared by our proclamation. And for the testimony hereof to the satisfaction of such as shall conceive any doubt herein, we understand that certain of our nobility have written to you at this present in some part to admonish you of your duties, and to testify their knowledge of the truth of our title and right. Wherefore we leave to proceed further therein being assured in the goodness of god that your hearts shall be confirmed to owe your duty to us your Sovereign Lady, who mean to preserve this Crown of England in the royal blood, and out of the dominion of strangers and papists, with the defence of all you our good subjects, your lives, lands, and goods, in our peace, against the invasions and violences of all foreign or inward enemies and rebels. Given under our Signet at o' Tower of London, the xvi'' day of July, in the first year of our Reign." 5
Jane shuts the Tower of London gates, and orders the keys sent to her. 6
Bishop Ridley preaches a second sermon against Mary on the streets of London. 7
In Cambridge, Bishop Edwin Sandys preaches against Mary, using a chalice and missal "which Sir George Howard with certain of the Guard had taken that night in M. Huddlestone's house where lady Mary had been a little before, and there had Mass." 8
Following the burning of Sawston Hall, the Earl of Warwick and George Howard argue. Fighting breaks out amongst their camp, and George Howard leaves for Mary "with 50 of the King's best horses." 9

Im on the verge of suicide and I suspect my two sisters are as well. While I don't think I will ever do it, because I'm religious, idk about them. And even if I won't do it, to live in such a torment ad the one I'm experiencing is unbearable and unimaginable. Logically I believe in the power of prayers, but on a personal level I find it unlikely anything will ever help me. But I'm still asking for prayers in the intention of us three staying alive no matter what.
I'm really sorry to hear that you and your sisters are struggling with suicidal thoughts. I don't know where you live, but please know that there will be crisis and non-crisis resources that you can access for support and pass on resources to your sisters (as well as to use for yourself). Suicide hotlines are just one form of accessing support. You can absolutely reach out to your local doctor, or see what other support services are in place. Sometimes you can access therapy groups which can often have shorter waiting list times and can often be offered for free or low cost. There are also a range of apps that are free or low cost that offer a range of coping mechanisms. I would recommend just putting in 'mental health' or 'suicide support' into your app store because sometimes it will also recommend apps that are ran by local resources to you.
As for prayers, something that you can try and do is use these prayers. You can say them when you get up in the morning, before you go to bed, or whenever you feel like anxiety/pain/etc is building up. You can pick up praying one of them a day, or whenever you're able, or using more than one. Whatever you feel is most beneficial to you (and also most achievable). I'm giving you a range of prayers under a readmore, just because some of them vary in length and you might find a certain length of prayer works best for you.
Lord Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner
----
Good Saint Dymphna, great wonder-worker in every affliction of mind and body, I humbly implore your powerful intercession with Jesus through Mary, the Health of the Sick, in my present need. (Mention it.) Saint Dymphna, martyr of purity, patroness of those who suffer with nervous and mental afflictions, beloved child of Jesus and Mary, pray to Them for me and obtain my request.
(Pray one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Glory Be.)
Saint Dymphna, Virgin and Martyr, pray for us.
----
Glorious Archangel Saint Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace.
You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels.
Because you are the medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor
(mention your request here)
and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit.
St. Raphael, of the glorious seven who stand before the throne of Him who lives and reigns, Angel of health, the Lord has filled your hand with balm from heaven to soothe or cure our pains. Heal or cure the victim of disease and guide our steps when doubtful of our ways.
Amen.
---
O my beloved Queen, my hope, O Mother of God, protector of orphans and protector of those who are hurt, the savior of those who perish and the consolation of all those who are in distress, thou seest my misery, thou seest my sorrow and my loneliness. Help me—I am powerless; give me strength. Thou knowest what I suffer, thou knowest my grief: Lend me thy hand, for who else can be my hope but thee, my protector and my intercessor before God? I have sinned before thee and before all people. Be my Mother, my consoler, my helper. Protect me and save me, chase grief away from me, chase my lowness of heart and my despondency. Help me, O Mother of my God!
----
Thee alone I follow, Lord Jesus, Who heals my wounds. For what shall separate me from the love of God, which is in Thee? Shall tribulation, or distress, or famine? I am held fast as though by nails, and fettered by the bonds of charity. Remove from me, O Lord Jesus, with Thy potent sword, the corruption of my sins. Secure me in the bonds of Thy love; cut away what is corrupt in me. Come quickly and make an end of my many, my hidden and secret afflictions. Open the wound lest the evil humor spread. With Thy new washing, cleanse in me all that is stained. Hear me, you earthly men, who in your sins bring forth drunken thoughts: I have found a Physician. He dwells in Heaven and distributes His healing on earth. He alone can heal my pains Who Himself has none. He alone Who knows what is hidden can take away the grief of my heart, the fear of my soul: Jesus Christ. Christ is grace! Christ is life! Christ is Resurrection! Amen.
