Legolas-

"Won't you tell me what happened?" Legolas looked up from wrapping a cloth bandage around the freshly cleaned cut on your arm, eyes soft and imploring.

You didn't respond, choosing instead to rest your elbow on the table you were sitting next to and rub your forehead. Legolas's blue eyes cut through you, trying to read your silence. His fingers were gentle and skilled, pausing whenever you flinched. And you flinched constantly, for your body was covered with bruises and cuts. There had been a fight, and you had lost. But you didn't want to talk about it.

The feel of Legolas's lips against your skin caused you to look up. His gaze met yours, breath warm against your hand. "Does that help?" he whispered.

Your gaze averted only to look again when he turned your hand and kissed the inside of your wrist and the monstrous bruise forming there. Slowly Legolas made his way up your arm, kissing, touching, whispering elvish words of comfort as your breaths grew stuttered. By the time he reached your face tears were stinging your eyes.

"Tell me," he asked, gently taking your face in his hands. "What happened?"

Aragorn-

"Why won't you tell me?"

"Aragorn, please," you winced as he placed a cloth dipped in hot water on the cut in your thigh, grabbing his hand with the intention of pushing it away.

"Steady, steady," Aragorn shushed you, pushing you back down onto the bed. "It will only hurt but a moment more."

You shook your head but Aragorn held firm, cleaning the wound one final time before putting the cloth aside and picking up a clean bandage for dressing. "Was it orcs? Ogres?"

You looked away from him and closed your eyes. You weren't going to tell him you had gotten into a fight defending his honor as rightful king. He would be saddened, perhaps even upset.

"My love," Aragorn sighed deeply, leading you to believe he had dropped the subject. However, that was not the case.

"Your wounds are many." He noted. You felt him take your hand, thumb brushing gently against the bruise forming there. Aragorn then placed a kiss on the bruise, gentle and warm.

You opened your eyes and looked at him, watching as Aragorn began to kiss every bruise and cut you had on your body. You tried to stop him but he shushed you, causing your eyes to become glassy as he displayed his love and concern with every kiss against your skin.

"Please tell me, my love." Aragorn took your hand in both of his. "What happened?"

You took a shuddered breath, voice coming out cracked and weak. "Hold me".

Aragorn x Reader

You have been traveling with the fellowship and sneak off to clear your head but Aragorn followed you. 

Simple plot but cute af. Suggestive but nothing really happens.

You were tired, no, exhausted.  You had been on the road for god knows how long. It felt like a never ending journey. It wasn't just you that was tired, everyone was but everyone collectively decided to push on. The farther you went the less you had to go. 

It was practically dark by the time you all found a spot to spend the night. It was in the forest near some large rocks that you all set up your camp next too.

You could see the relief on everyone's face when they set their bags down and finally were able to sit down and relax. 

It felt so nice to be able to relax, you laid happily on your blanket while food slowly cooked next to a small fire. You eventually fell asleep listening to the crackling of the fire, this was the first time in the journey it felt safe to relax. You were soon awakened by Aragorn handing you a small bowl of soup. You gave a small smile and thanked him. 

Everyone talked amongst themselves but you quickly slurped up the soup, more like watery vegetable's and stood up. “Where are you goin?” Gimli asked. “I’m gonna go see if I cant find a stream, fill up on fresh water.” You started to walk away but the group all handed you their canteens thanking you and giving compliments hoping you’d fill up their cups. 

You smiled and walked away, somewhat annoyed you had to keep walking after such a long day,  After a moment Aragorn looked to the side and realized he hadn't given you his canteen. He sighed and stood up to follow you earning him some cheers from the rest of the fellowship. 

Even of you and Aragorn weren't an official couple the fellowship had still noticed how close you two were to each other. 

You walked off with the canteens hung over your shoulder and followed a small deer path to the edge of a spring. You had never felt so relieved to find water, it was hot out and carrying all your gear wasn't helping. 

You threw the canteens to the side and knelt down to the stream drinking the water straight from your hands and splashed it onto your face. It felt so refreshing. You glanced behind you making sure non of the fellowship had followed you. Nothing. 

You quickly tore your clothes off, placing your weapons on a nearby rock so they didn't get dirty and dove into the water. You wanted to stay under forever, it was like your own personal paradise. -

Aragorn walked through the forest following the same path, following your footsteps. He heard water splashing in the distance and quickened his pace. He almost stepped out of the path until he saw you in the water and your clothes thrown next to the canteens. 

You hadn't noticed him standing behind the trees. You had your eyes closed as you washed your hair and the dirt off your body. Aragon stood there mesmerized at how your body moved in the water and how the moonlight accentuated your features. 

His small smile was soon replaced with a smirk as he quietly made his way over to your things. He quickly grabbed your clothes and sword trying to not get caught. he made his way around to the other side of the spring and picked up a small rocked. He threw it over to the other side of the spring where you clothes were making a small noise as it hit the other rocks. 

You opened your eyes looking for the cause of the noise, noticing your clothes were gone. You slowly backed away from the edge looking around to see if someone was there. 

“looking for these darling?” You quickly turned around covering your chest seeing Aragorn standing their with your clothes in hand, standing on one of the rocks at in the spring. He looked down at you holding your clothes just above your reach with a smirk on his face. 

“Haven't you ever heard of privacy?” You asked sinking deeper into the spring. “Yes, but this was more fun.” He said with a giggle. You swam over to him trying to grab your clothes but he just lifted them higher. “Is this really fair?” You asked “No but its fun for me to watch.” He said watching you trying to grab your clothes while trying to cover your chest. 

“Give up?” He asked with a smug smile on his face. You smirked “I never give up.” You said, grabbing his legs and pulling him into the water with your clothes. 

“Touché” He said coming up from the water. You let out a dry laugh as you began to put your now wet clothes back on. 

You both walked out of the spring as water dripped from both your outfits. You quickly filled the canteens and walked back to the group. “What are we going to tell them?” You asked with a smile “That we had a refreshing bath.” He said nudging your shoulder. 

You made your way back to camp and handed out the filled canteens. Gimli laughed “What the hell happened to you two?” “We were just..uh..” You both tried to think of something to say but were cut off “Just kiss already!” Gimli shouted as the rest of the fellowship soon began to join in “Kiss!” You giggled as you and Aragorn turned toward each other and shared a kiss, placing you hands on his cheek as he did the same. 

“I won the bet!” Yelled Gimli as Merry and Pippin threw him a few coins bickering how they should have chose a different bet.

aragorn needs to be 10x weirder in all tolkien content. he’s too manly for elves. he’s too elvish for men. he roleplayed his crush’s grandpa, and then married her even though they were kinda siblings by adoption. he deals with his feelings by singing. he’s a horse girl. he was raised by elrond peredhel. he had the weight of the world placed on his shoulders when he was still an emo teen. everywhere he goes people think he’s lowkey a freak. let him own it.
