I never said I wasn't a hypocrite, like I was in tears about your lie in april + I want to eat your pancreas and I'm always in tears about Kojika and Ronin's Right person, not enough time dynamic- I think that's just a trope that's always gonna make me cry ngl-

I genuinely don't like sad things most of the time but angst I can handle when I know there's comfort at the end. When I know the characters are gonna get a happy ending or I know where the story is gonna go or if I'm forewarned ahead of time.

And the Angst thing is because I have Ru as my role model in the angst department so Gotta keep up with their silly antics /j

my week has been very busy with work but i'm doing okay and looking forward to the weekend! i hope you've been having a good week and getting to relax🥰🩷

it's still developing but i do have some hehe imma put it under the cut in case it gets too long or no one cares to look lmao

im a total mess over childhood friends to lovers with zayne (which is weird to me because i usually don't read or write this trope, its just not my cup of tea for the most part but idk with him its different lmao) so i couldn't help myself keeping that hehe but we grow up pretty close since he lives in the same neighborhood as my grandparents. when i move in with them, my grandma introduces us and in my grandma fasion, she starts taking us lots of place together like to the zoo, mesuems, the beach or pool. im a lot more talkive as a kid lol so it is usually me dragging him along and talking his ear off but he's always really patient with me and doesn't protest

we get a few years of that, though we didn't see each other as much during the school season since we attend different schools and he's a grade ahead of me. but during one summer, right before he moves, he loses control of his evol for the first time when we're together & in my attempt to help him with my fire evol i get hurt. i get pretty cut up by ice and exhaust myself using so much of my evol but zayne regains control of his evol right before i pass out gdhlkhglkdhg POOR BABY i know i put him through his but it makes me feel bad for him hahah

omfg this is getting long im sorry

anway, while im in the hospital recovering i'm constantly asking my grandparents if hes okay and if he can come see me and when he doesn't show up, i ask instead if i can go see him when i'm better. on one of my last days there he comes to see me but i happen to be asleep when he comes so i don't see him again before he moves and he leaves me with a little penguin made from his evol on my hospital bed side

by the time he's made his way back to linkon, it's been a long time since we last saw each other and i've moved away too but he keeps in touch with my grandparents and hears little things about me from them until one day i show up at the hospital, bringing my grandma in for a check up not knowing he'd be there. i'm still wearing the ribbon he gave me for my last birthday when he had still lived in the neighborhood and he recogonizes it immediately, before he even sees my face and ahh we just start getting close from there, even if its a little awkward and slow at first 🤭 more little run ins at the hospital or in the city until they become a litttle more than coincidental like when i drop by the hosptial with bag of cookies and leave it on his desk with a note to remind him to eat an actual lunch too or when he happens to be at the boba shop i vist for a treat at the end of the workday on friday 🤭🩷

it all kinda changes when my grandma passes away and when he doesn't hear from me afterwards. he tries to give me time and space but really its not long before he starts to worry too much and shows up at my door. i answer with puffy eyes n he just asks if he can hold me and things are never really the same after that, but very much for the better🥰🩷
