there's just something so 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 about a fictional couple with massively divorced energy and yet you know there's still feelings there. right person wrong time. right person right time wrong everything else. the love was there but it wasn't enough. the love is still there and it's almost enough but not quite, not the way they'd like it to be. everyone around them can see the pining and the yearning and the longing but there's nothing they can do about it now. they can never go back and they can never be the same again without each other.

I totally blame him for the huge soft spot I have for all these characters. Even the ones whose story I barely started watching (and the ones whose stories actually have endings and broke my heart). And I can't wait to meet the next one :o)

"zerxus x asmodeus is the most compelling exu:c ship" I'm sorry, Laerryn and Loquatius Coramar-Seelie did not spend 4 whole episodes dragging the entire audience through emotional torment and repairing their broken marriage in the most meaningful and poetic way possible within literally 24 hours and then die in each other's arms to save Exandria for you to favour yet another homoerotic dynamic with maybe 15 minutes of screen time.

There's an energy I want to Loquatius (aka fucked up fey vibes) that Sam wouldn't be able to portray. He's a living character, Sam does feel fey in concept, but he's often holding back, he's trying so hard to be normal, he's raunchy but so proper at the same time.

I want Artagan strangling Vax and causing unbridled chaos and being larger than life, I want Fearn and her scary nana and goat eyes and attraction to the macabre, I want Yu and lies on top of lies and empathy turned into cruelty, I want Ira and ambition and misplacement that comes from being unapologetically fey.

I want Sam playing him, but with the deranged energy of Ad!Sam, I want him with a little Taliesin on his shoulder encouraging the effed up decisions.
