Lopez wants a family, he's always dreamed about having a family. And why not with you? The love of his life. He'd day dream about you and him being married, living together. As well as with a kid or two. Just the thought of you carrying his child, made him go even more feral.

So he thought of a plan, his plan was to baby trap you. He'd poke holes in the condoms and even hide your birth control if you took any. Not only that, but if you were to be intimate without protection, he'd say he would pull out. But he didn't. If you wanted to take a plan b pill, he'd go to 'get' it for you. Only to give you something else that isn't the plan b.

Once you find out you were pregnant, you had no idea on what to do but tell Lopez. Since it took two to make a baby. You were freaking out the whole time since you didn't plan on having the baby specially since you were on a whole different planet.

Lopez was as happy as ever, his plan finally worked. You were going to have his baby, his flesh and blood, but he didn't show his exactment just yet. He consoled you and told you that it'll be okay. He'd say that he'll support you in any decision you'd make.

If you wanted to terminate the pregnancy, that's fine. He'll support your decision. But the whole time he'd tell you that 'It would have been his dream to be a father' or say 'Just imagine how great of a mother you'd be.' He'll be gaslighting you the whole time, until you finally agree to have the baby.

Not only is he considering that, but if you were to suffer a miscarriage. He'd be there for you and help you heal. Already planning on doing his plan all over again. He is very patient and will do it all over again until he gets what he wants.

Before moving any further, you and him got married. At first you weren't so sure, but Lopez had convinced you that you and him had to get married so that the baby could have both it's parents. So, you got married, it was a simple and small court wedding. You had become Mrs. Lopez. (Since he wanted you to have his last name).

Lopez had asked you to stop working, he said that it wasn't good for you or the baby. Basically wanted you to be a stay at home wife and mother, looking after the house and baby. If you choose to work, he'd go on and on about how it'll harm the baby since it needs its mother's love and care. You ended up staying at home, to watch over the house and baby.

The whole pregnancy, Lopez was sickeningly and overly sweet. It felt almost weird. He'd talk to the baby bump, feel the baby kicking, and even buy stuff or find a way to get stuff for the baby. He really wishes to have a son, since he grew up with sisters. But if he were to have a daughter, he'd love that to.

He'd go with you to your check ups and make sure everything was going good for you and the baby. If you were to have twins, or triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets. Even better for him. But you found out that you were only having one baby, which was fine too. At least it was HIS baby you were having.

When your baby was born, Lopez was so happy. Finally, his child was born. The child he's been longing for a while. Since he began to date you. The whole time, he held the baby close to him, barely letting you hold your child. After some time, he let you hold your baby. Except, he'd be stuck to you, not leaving you or the baby alone.

If you were to have a boy. Lopez would be the father to teach his son manly things. For example, stuff about cars, tools, building things, and everything else considered manly. You'd often tell him that your son was only a couple months old, but he'd insist that they had to be taught at a young age.

If you were to have a girl. She'd be the light of his life. Often commenting how she looks like his mother and named her after his mother. He'd spent a lot of time with his daughter, wanting to show her that he'd be only man in her life that'll love and protect her. Just like any father would do for his father.

Ever since you got married and had your child, he became even more possessive and slight controlling. For example, he'd out security cameras in the out of your small apartment. He says for safety reasons, but in reality he was watching you and the baby.

If you wanted to go out to get things for the apartment, he'd tell you to send him your location and keep track of you and the baby. You know, to keep you safe. (Or to make sure that you're not seen anyone behind his back. Because if you did, he'd get rid of them and forgive you, since you were still his wife and mother of his child.)

Ok I have more headcannons for the ✨hatchetverse✨

Number 1:

All the men in the Lipshitz/Mathews/Goldstein family have a middle name that’s a derivative of Jon. Paul, Gary, and Jerry have jon, John, and Jonn respectively, Trevor has Jonah and Richie Jonathan, and other men in the family tree also have one of those middle names, something similar, or the same with different spelling.

Headcannon B:

Some of Lauren’s characters are cousins. Specifically Emma, Ruth, and Brooke, their mothers are sisters, hence the surname differences. This little tidbit is relevant to another headcannon coming up.

Part III:

Richie introduced Paul to anime. Paul was babysitting and Richie put on sailor moon, now Paul likes anime, specifically magical girl anime. Because it was his first, his favourite is sailor moon, and he’s a crystal truther (like me) and has seen the original anime but dislikes all the filler that wasn’t in the manga that crystal excludes to cut to the chase of the plot. And the precious little simp sees him and Emma as Mamorou and Usagi, Endymion and Serenity, Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon, he thinks he is her fate destined saviour (he is) and simps for her in the same lame way as the dumping in the show.

4rd:

None of the nerdy prudes can drive. Ruth can’t safely drive because her headgear is considered a distraction, Richie is an ambulatory mobility aid user and legally can’t drive, Peter can’t drive because his eyesight is so bad in one eye that he’s legally blind and also legally can’t drive, Grace’s parents don’t let their little girl drive and she doesn’t want to go against her parents, Steph can’t drive because she lost her licence for reckless driving (she gets exited a bit too easy on the road)

(Edit/update: I should have probably mentioned that Pete’s situation is being based off of the road laws of Victoria, Australia, where from my knowledge if you have poor vision in one eye and are legally blind in the other you can’t drive, so I might be wrong when it comes to American road rules)

Fifth:

There was a comic convention “incident”. Ruth and Richie wanted to set up Paul and Emma, because the little nerds are friends and they wanted to set up their uncle and cousin respectively because they were seeing ✨signs✨ that their loved ones had a crush on each other. There was a comic convention in Clivesdale or some other close town to the island and Ruth and Richie wanted to go and found it as a way to set them up. Ruth asked if her favourite adult cousin could chaperone her to the convention, and hey there might be some stoners to test product. Richie told Paul there would be sailor moon and also he can’t drive and come on uncle Paul you get me the most. Ruth and Richie withheld the information for each other’s attendance to their respective adults and “coincidentally” found each other at the con, and Paul and Emma were befuddled and smitten, and now the 4 of them go to at least 1 con a year for the sake of family and saving gas money (and so Paul and Emma can flirt)

⋆˙⟡ Just thinking about MATTHEO RIDDLE's love language. He'd be such a lover boy when he finally has you, always reminding you of the love his heart bears.

Doves, cats, bunnies... Mattheo would succeed in enchanting parchment into every shape or form, letting them delicately land on your desk. The paper would gently graze the tips of your fingers as if urging them to absorb the words he wrote.

"Darling, the sun should be jealous of your radiant smile." — "That ribbon in your hair reminds me of the string that binds me to you." — "To love a heart as beautiful as yours has been the biggest gift in my life."

Mattheo would often take walks on the school grounds to drown out his sorrows, preferably alone but not without keeping you in the back of his mind. You’d often receive flowers — “Almost as beautiful as you.” —, stones shaped like a heart, unicorn hair… Every single walk, he’d search for something to gift you.

To him, defense against the dark arts classes were rubbish. — “They don’t teach you to properly defend yourself, so let me, please.” — He’d teach you to use dark magic while also letting you learn its weaknesses. It’d bring you two into the late hours of the night, hidden in the room of requirement. Always making sure to keep lingering touches on your hips, wrist, and shoulders. — “Just so you know the proper form.” bullshit

Having your own dorm room? No, you didn’t, he’d plead with you to stay in his all the time. He’d use excuses like ‘just protecting you’ or ‘keeping your nightmares away’. Silly guy. He just couldn’t handle not holding you through the night.

He’d often give you massages, driving away the tension in your shoulders. His lips would often follow the motion of his hands until no spot would be left unkissed.

Intimate times had two sides. Either he’d be pretty rough — not without telling you how beautiful you look — other times he’d be so soft. But not once he’d forget to take proper care of you after. Showering together sometimes for another round and kissing the skin painted by his love, or just taking a relaxing bath with your back resting against his chest.

He'd spend months to find a way to sneak out of Hogwarts for a weekend trip to London. Taking romantic strolls through the city, ending the day with his coat wrapped around you and a hot chocolate in your hands to keep you warm enough.

His biggest love language would be words of encouragement and soft touches. Often combined.

In the dim glow of the moonlight filtering through the curtains, the room felt suffocatingly silent, save for the occasional rustle of sheets as you shifted uncomfortably in bed. The weight of the nightmares pressed down upon you like a heavy blanket, suffusing the air with an almost palpable sense of dread.

You lay there, eyes wide open, staring blankly at the ceiling as your mind churned with memories of horrors past. Night after night, the same visions plagued your dreams, dragging you back into the depths of despair with a relentless grip that refused to let go. Flashes back to the wizarding war and your last year of school. The war had ended a little over a year ago now and your nightmares had been coming back.

And yet, amidst the darkness, there was a flicker of light – a beacon of hope that shone brightly in the form of Mattheo Riddle, the cocky, slightly short-tempered Slytherin boy who had captured your heart in ways you never thought possible.

He had been your rock through it all, ever since you started dating in your fourth year. He was a constant source of strength and solace in a world gone mad.
