what’s the most recent image in your jerjor folder

so i actually don't save that many images to my multiple jeremy folders, they are full of mostly videos/audios/gifs depending on the folder. bonnie & clyde is a bit of an exception cause those photos are gorgeous, and i can't handle them (as demonstrated by last night's situation XD). so i think the most recent one i saved was:

bought totoro earrings & got a lil cat cow from lucky dip token machine !! this was the exact cat I wanted out of all the cats bc i lov cats and cows even more or maybe the same idk ahh I love cats and cows and I got it first try !! I think the universe was rewarding me for going out of my way to at least try to live my life today :) as I normally defs would not have feeling the way I do on a day life today but anyway when I was in the shop I was like to my brother “isn’t it funny how the earth could just get hit by an asteroid like we aren’t even real we are just nature and yet humans have gone and produced all these little things, like there’s just so many things and like why” and he was like “yeah they don’t stand a chance”

Saw a movie review that said the director was too self indulgent in filming his scenes, what does that even mean, or the writer was too self indulgent in their writing, like yeah, they're doing this for themselves, to do it how they want, it's really not for you, so of course it's going to be a little self indulgent? I mean, you can not like how a director or writer or artist or whatever did/does something, sure, I dislike plenty of movies and books and styles, and many things just aren't my personal taste, but saying it's too self indulgent? Huh? Wha? Like for some things I get it in a way if it messes with the coherency of a narrative, maybe, but in these other cases? Self indulgence is the point. They're sharing it with you, you get to experience it, but... it's not tailor made for everyone in the audience, it's made for them, the ones making it, and a lot of people don't accept that with any grace anymore. (And this is coming from someone who's one of the toughest critics on media ever lately, like I will hate things quite liberally, I will love things quite liberally, it's okay to not like things and notice flaws or have unaligned tastes or desires for a story, but some criticisms are just bizarre to me.)

i have so much work to do for finals season which is frustrating bc on the one hand i'm very glad all my classes have project-based finals where i get to be creative instead of just doing an exam or a paper. however. i have a bad habit with every project-based final ever of accidentally getting an idea that's way too ambitious and creating more work for myself than i need to do

however this semester even tho i fell into that exact same trap my two most elaborate final projects each involve 1. editing a video essay which contains an interview i did with paul bellini and at least 45 seconds of it are bellini talking about why he thinks i have great potential as a comedian, and 2. editing a ten minute reel of the documentary footage i got on tour with scott. which of course involves rewatching various videos of me and scott being extremely chaotic together. so i stay winning ig
