Pro Sonic Toothbrush: A Smart Investment for Oral Care
The Benefits of Using a Pro Sonic Toothbrush
The Pro Sonic toothbrush has revolutionized the way people maintain their oral hygiene. It incorporates advanced technology that goes beyond traditional brushing techniques. Unlike manual toothbrushes, the Pro Sonic offers deeper cleaning with more efficient plaque removal. The high-frequency vibrations enable the bristles to move in a way that gently yet effectively cleans teeth, helping to prevent cavities, gum disease, and other oral issues. Furthermore, using a toothbrush promotes better brushing habits, as it often comes with built-in timers and pressure sensors to ensure optimal performance. Whether you're dealing with sensitive gums or simply want a more thorough cleaning, the Pro Sonic toothbrush offers a wide range of benefits that will enhance your oral health routine.
What Sets the Pro Sonic Toothbrush Apart?
The toothbrush stands out in the market because of its innovative features. These brushes are equipped with high-frequency sonic technology that delivers rapid movements to remove plaque and bacteria from the surface of your teeth. Compared to traditional electric toothbrushes, the Pro Sonic produces faster vibrations, which allows for a more thorough clean in less time. This technology also ensures that it reaches areas between teeth and along the gum line that are often missed by manual brushing. Many models also come with multiple brushing modes, making it customizable to meet your specific oral care needs.
How Does the Pro Sonic Toothbrush Work?
The Pro Sonic toothbrush utilizes sonic technology to produce vibrations that move the bristles at high speeds, creating an effective cleaning motion. These vibrations generate a wave-like action that penetrates into the nooks and crannies of your teeth and gums. The high-speed brushing action helps dislodge plaque and food particles that can lead to dental issues. As you brush, the sonic pulses disrupt bacteria and germs, reducing the risk of plaque buildup and gum disease. The brush’s advanced motor ensures that it operates smoothly, offering a consistent and deep clean with every use.
Pro Sonic Toothbrush vs. Traditional Toothbrush
When comparing a Pro Sonic toothbrush to a traditional toothbrush, it’s clear that the former offers several advantages. Traditional toothbrushes rely on manual effort, while toothbrushes use advanced sonic vibrations to remove plaque more effectively. The power and efficiency of the toothbrush make it ideal for people who struggle with brushing for long periods or have difficulty reaching all areas of their mouths. Additionally, the Pro Sonic's built-in timers help ensure that users brush for the recommended two minutes, promoting better oral hygiene habits. Overall, the toothbrush offers a superior cleaning experience, making it a worthwhile investment.
Features to Look for in a Pro Sonic Toothbrush
When choosing a toothbrush, it’s essential to consider the features that will best suit your needs. First, look for different brushing modes, such as a sensitive mode for delicate gums or a whitening mode for a brighter smile. Many Pro Sonic toothbrushes also come with pressure sensors that alert you when you're brushing too hard, which can prevent gum damage. A long battery life is another important feature, as well as a comfortable, ergonomic handle for easy maneuverability. Some models also offer smart features, such as Bluetooth connectivity that syncs with a smartphone app to track your brushing habits.
How Often Should You Use a Pro Sonic Toothbrush?
To get the most out of your toothbrush, it’s recommended that you use it twice a day, just as you would with a traditional toothbrush. Regular use ensures that plaque and food particles are consistently removed, promoting better gum health and preventing cavities. You can also use the Pro Sonic toothbrush in combination with other oral care products like mouthwash and floss to maintain a complete dental care routine. It’s important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines regarding charging and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
The Role of Sonic Technology in Oral Health
Sonic technology is the heart of the Pro Sonic toothbrush’s effectiveness. It uses high-frequency vibrations to create rapid movements of the bristles, which can effectively clean hard-to-reach areas. These vibrations also help to disrupt plaque buildup, which is the primary cause of gum disease and cavities. Additionally, the sonic action stimulates blood flow in the gums, promoting better overall gum health. By improving plaque removal and reducing bacteria, the toothbrush plays a significant role in preventing common oral health issues.
Pro Sonic Toothbrush and Sensitive Teeth
For people with sensitive teeth, the Pro Sonic toothbrush is an excellent choice. Many models are designed with specific settings that allow users to brush more gently while still benefiting from the sonic technology. These toothbrushes often feature a gentle brushing mode that provides a soft yet thorough clean. The vibration technology also helps reduce the discomfort associated with manual brushing, making it easier for people with sensitive teeth to maintain a regular oral care routine.
Why You Should Switch to a Pro Sonic Toothbrush
Switching to a Pro Sonic toothbrush can significantly improve your oral hygiene. The advanced sonic technology helps remove plaque more efficiently than manual brushing, which can reduce the likelihood of cavities, gum disease, and other oral health problems. If you're someone who struggles to brush for the recommended two minutes, the Pro Sonic’s built-in timer ensures that you brush long enough to achieve a thorough clean. Additionally, many Pro Sonic models come with multiple brushing modes, making it easier to tailor your brushing experience to your specific needs.
Pro Sonic Toothbrush and Gum Health
Maintaining healthy gums is essential for overall oral health, and the Pro Sonic toothbrush is designed to promote better gum care. The high-frequency vibrations help clean along the gum line, where plaque can build up and lead to gum disease. Additionally, the gentle brushing action encourages blood flow in the gums, which can help keep them strong and healthy. For people who are prone to gum sensitivity, many toothbrushes feature gentle brushing modes that offer effective yet mild cleaning.
Pro Sonic Toothbrush for Whitening Teeth
A toothbrush can also help whiten your teeth by removing surface stains. The combination of sonic vibrations and specialized brushing modes helps eliminate food particles, plaque, and other substances that can cause yellowing. Many Pro Sonic toothbrushes come with a whitening mode designed to polish the teeth and enhance their natural brightness. By incorporating a toothbrush into your daily routine, you can maintain a whiter, brighter smile without the need for harsh chemicals or expensive treatments.
How to Care for Your Pro Sonic Toothbrush
Caring for your Pro Sonic toothbrush is important to ensure its longevity and continued performance. After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly to remove any toothpaste or debris. It’s also essential to replace the brush head regularly, as worn-out bristles can be less effective at cleaning. Depending on the model, you may need to charge the toothbrush after every few uses. Ensure that the toothbrush is stored in a dry place to prevent moisture buildup, which could damage the device. Following the manufacturer’s guidelines for maintenance will help extend the life of your toothbrush.
Pro Sonic Toothbrush for Kids
Introducing kids to proper oral care can be challenging, but a Pro Sonic toothbrush can make the process more enjoyable. Many Pro Sonic models are available in child-friendly designs, with softer bristles and fun colors to engage younger users. The toothbrush’s gentle yet effective cleaning action helps ensure that children are brushing properly without causing discomfort. Additionally, the built-in timers help kids brush for the recommended amount of time, promoting better brushing habits from an early age.
FAQs
Can a Pro Sonic Toothbrush Improve Oral Hygiene?
Yes, a toothbrush can significantly improve your oral hygiene. The sonic vibrations provide a more effective clean compared to manual brushing, removing plaque and bacteria more efficiently. The advanced features, such as pressure sensors and timers, help ensure that users maintain proper brushing techniques, further enhancing oral health.
Is a Pro Sonic Toothbrush Suitable for Sensitive Teeth?
Yes, many toothbrushes are designed with sensitive teeth in mind. They feature gentle brushing modes that allow for a softer clean while still providing the benefits of sonic technology. These models are ideal for people with gum sensitivity or those who experience discomfort when using traditional toothbrushes.
How Often Should I Replace the Brush Head?
It is recommended to replace the brush head of your Pro Sonic toothbrush every 3 to 4 months, or sooner if the bristles show signs of wear. This ensures that the toothbrush continues to function at its best, providing effective cleaning and maintaining oral health. Regular replacement of the brush head also prevents bacteria buildup.

Tails looses his first tooth
TW: TEETH PULLING, and a bit of blood because that’s what happens, man
It was evening and the Wachowski’s had all settled down for the evening into bed.
Tails, despite having an early bedtime, was still wide awake. He for some reason just couldn’t sleep. Then he feels something move in his mouth. He pokes it with his tongue and discovers that he has a loose tooth!
This lil dude may be a genius but nobody ever took the time to tell him that baby teeth fall out. So naturally, he began to freak out.
Tails scrambles over to Sonics bed. The hedgehog is peacefully asleep.
“S-Sonic?? Sonic wake up, somethings wrong..” The kit began to tear up. Sonic snaps awake, startled, then concerned.
Sonic wipes Tails’ tears away “…what’s wrong bud? Don’t cry..” Tails opens his mouth and shows his wiggly tooth. Sonic takes a second to process this, then smiles “oh sweet that’s awesome dude!”
Before Tails could respond, Knuckles emerges from the attic hatch. He sleeps in the basement. The echidna enters the room “I heard there was trouble and came as soon as I could. What is the problem?” Tails shows Knuckles his loose tooth.
Knuckles has the opposite reaction to Sonic “Tails, your little rippers are broken! What has happened??” He kneels down to hold his little brother in his arms. Tails is just freaking out even more.
Sonic panics “wait- don’t scare him! His.. rippers? Aren’t broken. He’s just got a loose tooth. It’s normal. Knux, didn’t you lose some teeth as a kid?”
Knuckles responds “no I did not. My teeth came in very strong. Nobody in my tribe loses teeth. It is expected that with our skulls, our teeth grow with them.”
Ok yea that makes sense if that’s actually how that works.
Tails turns to Sonic “it-it’s normal?” “Yea! Your just loosin your baby teeth so your big boy teeth can come in!” “Oh! I’m getting big boy teeth?” “Yep!” With this news, the energy in the room has improved a lot.
In the morning, Tails rushes to his parents to share the news, “Mommy!! Daddy!! Look!!” Tom and Maddie go to Tails to look at him, when he points to his loose tooth. Tom lifts the kit into the air cheering “WHOO!! Look at you go, buddy!” “Sonic says I’m getting my big boy teeth soon!” “You sure are!”
Maddie observes closer, gently touching his tooth “yep that suckers ready to come out at any time.” Tom turns to his wife “…Do we just let it fall out or..?” “I think it’s better if we pull it. I don’t want it falling out when he’s eating and he swallows it.” Any joy Tails had before that moment instantly faded.
Knuckles looks at his parents shocked and confused “WHAT DO YOU MEAN PULL IT???!!!!” he yells, pointing at his parents “you will not hurt my brother.” Maddie calms Knuckles down “woah, easy, baby. It’s loose enough to just pop out without pain anyway.” Knuckles takes some breaths to calm down, when Sonic decides to be apart of the conversation
“I pulled my own teeth out.”
Silence.
Tom blinks “excuse me?”
“Yea when they got loose enough I just reached in there and yoinked it myself. Why are you all so shocked? I had nobody to help me! How do YOU guys pull out your teeth if not with your hands???” It’s Sonics turn to be confused now.
Maddie recovers from what her son just told her “…well usually we tie floss around it. Then we pull.” Sonic tilts his head. Tom begins “Or if we need some extra oomph, we could tie the other end of the string to a door and slam it to pull out the tooth. OR we could tie the other end to the back of my truck and I drive-“ “Tom!” Maddie scolds her husband as Tails looks at his father in horror.
Maddie sighs “we aren’t gonna do that. We could just pull it ourselves without extra force.”
15 minutes later, everyone has gathered around for the ceremonial eviction of Tails’ baby tooth.
One end of the floss is tied around Tails’ tooth. Maddie has the other end in her hand, getting ready to yoink that bitch out. “Are you ready?” She asks. Tails whines “I don’t wanna!” then he starts to cry again. Poor little guy is so scared. Immediately everyone starts to comfort him. Ozzy even comes to supply Puppy Kisses of Healing.
Tom looks at his son “Tails, do you know what happens when you loose a baby tooth?” Tails whimpers “..I get my big boy teeth?” Maddie continues “that, AND you get a visit from the Tooth Fairy.”
“The Tooth Fairy?” All 3 of the brothers ask. “When you lose a baby tooth you can put it under your pillow before you go to sleep. Once you’re asleep, a little fairy will come collect your tooth and replace it with a little gift! Usually it’s money.” The brothers listen to their mother explain. They’re amazed! Wow! Money from a tooth? Neat!
It takes a little more encouragement, and finally the time has come. Tails holds onto his brothers hands, and uses one of his tails to hold onto his father, who has tissues at the ready to stop the bleeding.
Maddie counts down and
Y O I N K!
The tooth has left the building. It flies into Maddie’s hands. She shows it to Tails who is shocked he survived that, and it didn’t hurt! Tom places a tissue in the gap the tooth left to stop the bleeding.
“Look, Tails, you did it! Good job!” says Sonic.
“We’re proud of you, fox.” Knuckles pats his brothers head. Tails whoops in celebration.
They celebrate throughout the day, and Tails tells literally any living thing he comes across that he lost his first tooth. Now the whole town is congratulating him.
At night, while he’s brushing his teeth, Tails notices something. He taps Sonic who’s right beside him brushing his own teeth.
“Sonic! Sonic look!” Tails points to the gap his baby tooth had left. There’s another tooth coming in already! Sonic spits out his toothpaste into the sink “wow! Look at you! You’re growing so fast, lil bro!” Tails goes running into the living room to show everyone else what he has discovered.
Sonic sighs. Sometimes he wishes Tails would be this little forever. Why do little siblings have to grow up so fast?

ok i am desperately trying to remember as much as i can from sonic 2 (will be seeing it again in a couple days) but a few things that i loved/noticed
- i know that a few people were worried (including me) about them leaning too heavily toward the superhero angle with the whole blue justice thing, but that was mercifully really short and was just a way of showing how sonic was being overly reckless/arrogant! and it was nice to see them showing that side of him too
- i just have to say. the winter soldier line WAS annoying, but that fucking pay off?? the whole ‘bucky saves steve’ thing but with knuckes and sonic?? hello? IM LOSING IT
- unfortunately i found jim carrey insufferable in this movie but my guy deserves credit for giving 200%
- i didn’t find the movie particularly funny at any point and in fact there were many bits i found just unbelievably cringe (the siberian dance off, for one - uptown funk is so old now?? the adventure pose maybe JUST saves it). i mean... did we really need a flossing reference in both movies
- but that negative stuff aside, this was just so clearly a movie by fans for fans and i honestly think that’s why critics dont like it. the audience of this film is either a) sonic fans or b) kids and there is no in-between
- on that note!! i was LIVING for the interactions between tails + knuckles + sonic, it’s such a blessed dynamic and i loved how they all got to individually play off each other.
- there were so many facets to knuckles too - his gullibility, his vulnerability, his longing for a family, his strength and honour, his ruthlessness... like they allowed him to be a bit dumb and clueless without making him a complete joke which i adored
- knuckles and sonic bonding over their difficult pasts and sonic not blaming knuckles for longclaw’s death was really nice? like sonic really didn’t want to fight him. and BABY KNUCKLES. knuckles’ dad! ken penders is losing his shit
- this movie was just so deeply and unashamedly earnest (even with the power of friendship stuff and emphasis on family!!) that i couldnt help but smile through most of it.
- oh man, i just. all the clever references to the games?? the sonic 06 reference! the unleashed reference! even the thing with the chilli dog falling from the sky felt like a black knight reference!!
- seriously was losing my fucking MIND during the super sonic scene. it just encapsulated for me how long it feels since ive seen a movie like this that gives the fans what they want! I mean?? the chaos emeralds?? sonic’s design including the floating quills and the red eyes?? he looked soOOOO COOL
- knuckles talking about ice cream DID NOT DISAPPOINT. i really didnt expect them all to be just hanging out together at the end but that fucken killed me man
- GUN!!!
- TONED DOWN OLIVE GARDEN REFERENCES THANK YOU
- the human characters 100% got shafted but uhhh. i didnt mind it all that much?? and there was that huge moment with maddie and tom accepting sonic as their son and sonic talking tom dad like,.. that’s pretty important
- colleen was soooo good she just seamlessly slotted in and it was so nice to hear her voice throughout!!
- i loved seeing how the bits in the trailers were chopped and changed and moved out of context, it was cool to see how everything actually slotted together in the movie
- it was interestng how they’ve made it so the chaos emeralds are components of the master emerald rather than a separate thing? to the point where super sonic was said to have absorbed the power of the master emerald rather than the chaos emeralds... but its nbd tbh
- SHADOW SHADOW SHADOW!!!!! SHadoW!! he looked so good - if anything it looked like the red fur around his eyes was more obvious? he also looked kinda sad : ‘( i cannot wait to see his final design! so i assume the next movie is going to be pretty much just sa2 with a few changes? it doesnt really surprise me - shadow is just way too popular, and it felt like it was foreshadowed by the sa-2 on the gun helicopter. i like to think this means amy will be introduced too!

So, about the movie...
At long last, a week after it came out, I was finally able to see the Sonic movie. The Daytona 500 being held across the street from my favorite theater and conflicting work schedules had been keeping me away, but now I’ve finally seen it. And it was...
Decent!
Which is way, way, way, way, way better than a movie with this awful premise has any right being. That’s for damn sure. I enjoyed my time at the theater. I don’t know how they did it, but they did it. If you like Sonic and haven’t already seen it, you will probably get a kick out of this film. If you don’t like Sonic (or Jim Carrey), there is very little in this movie for you
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, it’s time to break that whole movie down. This will contain full spoilers for the Sonic movie
This movie kinda gave me deja vu because it’s set up so similarly to the Bumblebee movie. Both open with a slavishly faithful CGI sequence on another planet to ensure long time fans that the creative team gives a shit, but a conflict sends the title character to Earth. There, they form an emotional bond with the human lead as they’re pursued by the bad guys, who are working with the US government and tracking the energy signature of the title character. This setup worked extremely well for Bumblebee, because it’s so similar to the usual plot of Transformers. For Sonic, it was... a mixed bag. But it worked better than I expected
(This shot does not happen in the movie.)
That opening though, huh? Green Hill Zone looked great, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they did, in fact, use the Hyper Potions track from Sonic Mania in the actual film. (The piano rendition of the Green Hill theme used later was also lovely.) Longclaw was also interesting. I’ve seen one person bring up all the bird-themed ruins in Sonic 1 and 2 as a possible source of inspiration for the character, and I think that’s a valid take. And man, the echidnas! I wasn’t expecting that AT ALL. I guess that was probably the Knuckles Clan or something? I would never, ever picture them being alive during Sonic’s lifetime, but like... I guess Knuckles had to come from somewhere, right? If they do another movie with Knuckles, will the rest of his kind have died out?
Sadly, though, this sequence felt like it was over in a heartbeat. We barely see Sonic’s life on his home planet, and we’re expected to feel emotional over Longclaw’s sacrifice when she only gets like three lines before Sonic is sent to Earth. This is a common theme with the film--it goes for these big emotional beats that it just does not earn with its rapid fire pacing
Anyway, then we fast forward and Sonic’s a teen. This is actually kind of an interesting one if you’re constantly neck deep in Sonic Character Analysis like me, because it’s a pretty different take on the character. It’s hard to give them credit for doing something somewhat fresh with the character, though, because like... how much of that was intentional, and how much was just Hollywood writers trying to squeeze a generic action-adventure movie out of Sonic? (Honestly, it’s probably mostly the latter.)
The closest other piece of Sonic media to the movie would probably be Sonic X, a story in which Sonic isn’t really the protagonist. The Sonic of the anime is fairly emotionally distant. He cares deeply about his friends, and does nice things for them, but he’s totally fine with running off on his own for extended lengths of time, and he doesn’t really talk about his feelings. He’s not the character the audience is meant to sympathize with, but is instead this cool older kid who Chris wants to impress. This is pretty much in line with how Sega likes to depict the character. He cares about his friends, but he’s also cool with being a loner. It feels like he only runs into them incidentally, usually when Eggman is causing trouble, and then when the crisis of the week is taken care of he’s back to going on his own adventures. There’s a reason why one of his catchphrases is “long time no see”
The Sonic of the movie is the polar opposite. His main conflict is that he’s lonely and desperately seeks friendship. He’s also an overly-eager, extremely earnest goober. He literally flosses twice. (Which I loved.) I’ve seen him compared to Silver, and honestly, that’s not a bad comparison. I did like it, though! I don’t mind Sonic being a more emotionally open character, like he was in a lot of older Western media. I mean, he cried in like the second or third episode of SatAM
It’s just that, like many things in the movie, it feels less like a deliberate creative choice and more like a logical string of decisions to make when writing a generic action-adventure film for general audiences. Sonic’s the only one of his kind on Earth, so of course he’d be lonely. He has to have some sort of arc for audiences to connect with him, and if he’s gotta be accompanied by James Marsden for the whole movie, well, his arc’s gotta be about them becoming friends
I’ve gotta say, though: Ben Schwartz is great as Sonic. As much as I like Roger Craig Smith, I wouldn’t complain if he became the new main voice of the character. And thanks to the redesign, he looked great. I can’t imagine how nightmarish this movie would’ve been if Sonic wasn’t cute
My main fear with this movie, though, was that Sonic wouldn’t really be the protagonist. As a fan of Transformers, I know all too well that the cost of doing a full CGI character usually means that said character can’t really be the star of the film. Optimus and Bumblebee aren’t the stars of the Transformers movies--they’re supporting characters who are primarily present for the sake of the action scenes. The humans are the real stars in those movies, and the robots are barely even characters. I was terrified that Sonic would be the same, with the actual character I paid to see taking a backseat to James Marsden The Cop
I’m not quite sure if they struck the right balance there, but they did better than I worried they would. Sonic is central enough to the film and gets enough screentime that you can easily say he’s the protagonist. BUT there is absolutely too much of Tom and his family. The human cast is fine, the performances are fine, and there were a few good jokes, but every time the movie tried to get me to care about Tom’s life I was bored out of my mind. It’s just so trite and passionless. The other characters barely felt fleshed out at all, including Tom’s girlfriend (wife?) and Agent Stone. The little girl who gives Sonic the shoes had some cute moments, though
I do, however, love the part in which James Marsden is walking around in a San Francisco t-shirt, to remind us that he’s planning on moving to San Francisco... which then becomes the excuse for Sonic to think about San Francisco and accidentally send his warp rings there, which becomes the excuse for the buddy road trip aspect of the film. And as much as that was a focus of the marketing, the actual road trip part is like... maybe 20 minutes of the movie? There’s like three scenes with Sonic and Tom on the road and then they’re in San Francisco for act 3. The movie tries to act like they’ve formed this deep bond and I just did not give a shit. I don’t care about the cop. All Cops Are Bastards, and that absolutely includes Tom, whose dream in life is to join the extremely corrupt San Francisco PD
The whole excuse for Sonic having to sit in the passenger seat of a car going the speed limit for a good chunk of the movie is also, just. Stupid. If he doesn’t know where San Francisco is and time is of the essence, just... give him a map?
And then there’s Jim Carrey. I was worried about this one. The previews tended to highlight his most Jim Carrey Being Wacky moments, and as fond as I am of movies like The Truman Show and Bruce Almighty, that’s just. That’s not Robotnik. I was pleasantly surprised by the actual movie, though! I thought he was pretty good. I’m not sure what incarnation of Eggman I’d most compare him to, but like... it was close enough, and he was entertaining enough. I’d pay to go see another movie with him as Robotnik. Sure. (Especially with how he was looking at the end of the film.)
There were some other little interesting tidbits here with Eggman, although again, a lot of that is less “let’s do a new take on Eggman” and more “let’s do a marketable movie with Eggman in it, which requires us to explain some stuff.” Like him straight up just being a normal human from Earth, with none of the confusion present in the current “two worlds” canon of the games. Or him apparently being an orphan who was bullied in school, and who trusts machines more than other humans. It’s a safe way to depict the character in a Hollywood movie, but I thought it worked
The way they got to his nickname was kind of funny, though. Like, obviously they didn’t put Jim Carrey in a fat suit, and thank god for that. So instead of mocking his weight, the nickname is derived from the egg-shaped robots he uses. Which made sense, I guess. It at least felt logical for this incarnation of Sonic, who had annoyingly been calling Tom “Donut Lord” the whole movie, to make up the nickname “Eggman.” (Said robots, by the way, were a weak point of the movie to me. They just didn’t have that Eggman whimsy and felt very safe and very Hollywood. Honestly, though, if they had just made Robotnik’s ship grey and slapped some hazard stripes on it, it’d probably be fine.)
As a whole, I thought the humor of the movie was... okay. Sonic had a lot of good moments thanks to Schwartz’s great performance, as did Robotnik. There were just so many weird lines, like James Marsden telling Robotnik that he was breast fed, or the agonizingly long child trafficking joke with Sonic in the duffel bag. Stuff like that
The action was great, though. They definitely owe a lot to the Quicksilver scene in that one X-men movie (I forget the one), but they had a lot of fun with Sonic’s powers and it felt extremely true to the character. Seeing him do one of his Smash poses during the San Francisco fight was great. The action scenes were an absolute delight
And then the ending. Oh, that ending
So, I had already heard that Tails shows up in the stinger before I saw the film. And when I heard that, I expected it to be like, the classic Tails origin story. Maybe Sonic would return to his planet, and run into this precocious kid who decides to follow him around... but no! Not at all! Tails is already the Tails we know and love. He’s already an inventor, he’s already tracking down Sonic. I’m shocked that Sonic actually stayed with Tom instead of running off to have new adventures, but hopefully this is a sign that more characters will be brought into the fray if they make a sequel
And boy, they better make that damn sequel. This movie had a great opening weekend and a positive reception. They have no excuse not to. GIVE US SONIC AND TAILS GOING ON AN ADVENTURE
Other stray thoughts
Holy shit they put Sanic in the movie
The Sega logo animation meant that Kiryu from Yakuza was in this movie for a few seconds
The pixel art credits sequence, which featured both the Sonic 2 special stage and Get Blue Spheres as well as the Eggman logo screens from the Studiopolis Zone boss, was cute
The Saturn logo could be seen on the diagram of the other habitable planets
Robotnik had a label for “Badniks” on his circuit breaker. I wonder if the drones in the movie are intended to be Badniks, or if we’ll see actual ones if a sequel gets made
Also, was it implied that Robotnik committed war crimes for the US government
One of the government guys who I think only got one line was played by Garry Chalk and as such sounded exactly like Optimus Primal
I can’t tell if Sonic getting a red race car bed was an intentional shout out to the Archie comics or if it’s just a coincidence, but I loved it
A dude about my age wearing a Sonic Mania t-shirt literally stood up and clutched his head in shock when Tails showed up
After the movie a very excited kid got his mom to take his photo with the Sonic display in the lobby. Afterwards he was so excited that he flossed
I can’t believe they talked about Olive Garden so much

HEEEELLO, MY FRIENDS! TODAY IS A VERY SPECIAL DAY!!!
This, clearly very smart person, has written something that could technically be called a “review” or the Sonic Movie! (reading not reccomended)
And at the end, they share their very competent
Please, lose your braincells with me as we attempt to answer them all!!!
1. Why is Sonic raised by a Large Owl named Long Claw? Did she marry a Large Hedgehog and give birth to Sonic? Is he part Owl?
The Sonic Movie novelization explains that Longclaw is NOT Sonic’s biological mother. Not that reading the novelization is required to understand that very obvious fact.
2. Who named him “Sonic?” Since his mother is named Long Claw shouldn’t Sonic have a name that somehow correlates with his appearance, like Small Nose?
Maybe Longclaw knew Sonic’s parents? Even if she had been the one to name him, I don’t know she’d give him a similar name to hers.
3. The town in the film is called Green Hill Zone. Does this imply that all the places in the Sonic movie are named after Sonic levels?
First of all, it’s called “Green Hills”, which is a much more believable name for a small town to have. As for the second, maybe? There’s this:
(not sure why this questions matters though...)
4. Why do people call Sonic a “Hedgehog?” If he’s an alien, shouldn’t he have an alien name that doesn’t have its roots in Earth-dwelling species?
Because Sonic calls himself a hedgehog, it’s unknown if he simply came to that conclusion by seeing the similarities or his species call themselves hedgehogs the same way echidnas call themselves echidnas.
5. Sonic is fast enough to play baseball against himself. This may make sense for baseball–but how does this logic work when he acts as his own therapist in the film? Does he process trauma differently because he runs so fast?
...what?
6. When Sonic runs too fast while playing baseball, he shuts down the power on almost the entire western half of America. Wouldn’t this loss of electricity cause major pandemonium all over the country and around the world?
The blackout problem could have been resolved not long after, pretty sure there are protocols and stuff. You act like they didn’t hold a meeting in the Pentagon about this.
7. Shouldn’t Sonic be deafeningly loud since he is constantly breaking the sound barrier?
I...don’t know? You might be reading a little too deeply into the powers of a super fast blue hedgehog kid.
8. Sonic learns to drive by reading the manual of James Marsden’s truck. But do car manuals even actually teach you how to operate an automobile?
That sounds plausible to me? He wasn’t even able to differenciate between the brakes and the accelerator so maybe he was messing around.
9. When Sonic and James Marsden enter the roadside bar, a patron says “We don’t like your kind here.” What kind? Blue alien hedgehogs? Have they seen those before?
This one annoys me a lot.....INMEDIATELY afterwards Sonic asks the guy “What kind is that?” to which he replies with “hipsters”
10. Sonic disguises himself in the movie as a cowboy. At the bar, patrons think he is a small child. Do children in the Sonic movie universe normally appear like feral anthropomorphized critters?
The waitress is confused about Sonic’s appearance, even asking if the child has some sort of face paint on. Tom has to invent that weird genetic condition so no one suspects.
11. Why does James Marsden’s fiancee’s sister hate him so much? He seems like a nice, caring person!
Sometimes it be that way, dude. Do you need to know? It’s just funny.
12. How did Sonic find a pair of sneakers that can withstand legs that move as fast as the speed of light?
I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration, and you saw the state his old sneakers were in, as well as the amount of worn out shoes he has in his cave.
13. Where did Sonic learn to read, communicate with humans, use nunchucks, and floss?
Ten years is a very long time, and he has spent them observing human pop culture through movies and comic books.
14. If Sonic is this fast, can’t he just stop Dr. Robotnik by running into his drone machine and destroying everything before Robotnik can even react?
Didn’t you pay attention? When Robotnik pressed the button on his ship, using the quill’s energy, he became almost as fast as Sonic.
15. The mushroom planet that the film keeps referring–is that a dig on the Mario Bros’ Mushroom kingdom?
Could be, but it’s more likely a reference to Mushroom Hill Zone from Sonic & Knuckles.
16. What happened to James Marsden’s career that led him to take third billing in the Sonic movie?
Fuck you.
17. Has anyone on the Sonic movie writing team ever played a Sonic game?
Obviously. Fuck you.
18. Why didn’t Paramount just allow the visual effects artists enough time to actually make Sonic look good?
The first design wasn’t incomplete, it was just a completely different aproach, with the realism being pushed by the studio.
19. What do people like about this movie?
I like how it portrays Sonic and gives him emotional complexity like we’ve never seen before. I also thinks it’s a really good movie in general, with talented actors (including Jim Carrey himself) who put their all in their performances, really great commedy and action as well as heartfelt moments. It makes the character and the franchises justice in more ways than one.
20. How did this movie turn out to be worse than Cats?
Again, fuck you.

flawsome bandits pt. 4 ♡ sonic
Flawsome Revelations
Part 4! Thank you so much for all of the support guys, it literally supercharges me to write more! I love all of you and let me know what you think. Feel free to try and guess what mystery is lying in between these pages ;) Love you!
Warnings - this is the car chase scene, so very minor violence and tons of fluff
♡♡♡
Early the next morning, our favorite trio were flying down Siskiyou County Line, just on the border of California. Fueled on coffee, stale donuts, and lemon poppyseed muffins, they were ready to seize the day (mostly). Tom once again sat behind the steering wheel with Sonic sitting shotgun (though there was barely any point since he turned around to face Y/n so often) and Y/n situated in the middle of the backseat.
And still… no seat belts. Because who needs seat belts when you’re flying down a county line going sixty miles per hour? Not these people, I tell you.
“So, what’s on your guys’ bucket lists?” Sonic asked out of curiosity. “Me?” Y/n asked, and Sonic nodded excitedly.
“Yeah, everyone has a bucket list, right?” Tom nodded as a verification, but still tilted his head to the side in thought, taking his eyes off the road for a moment to look at the blue hedgehog.
“Well, yeah, but I mean, you’re the one leaving earth. Y/n and I don’t plan on dying anytime soon.” Sonic chuckled mischievously next to him.
“Oh, don’t be so sure! Your best friend is a magnet for danger,” Sonic taunted smugly. Y/n chuckled softly from the backseat. Her father, however, wasn’t quite that amused.
“Oh, so you’re anointing yourself as the bestie?” Sonic hummed in response. “A little presumptuous, but…” Sonic and Y/n both furrowed their brows in confusion, staring at Tom as he refocused on the road before him. “Look, I like you, but we’re not best friends. And frankly, I don’t think you and Y/n are best friend material either.”
“Wait, what?” Y/n scoffed, leaning in on the console and staring daggers at her father. “I think I have the right to say who is and isn’t my friend, and I already claimed Sonic as my best friend so-”
“Your loss,” Sonic finished for her. The two smiled smugly at one another and exchanged a proud high five. Tom chuckled at the defeat, but was secretly just glad that his daughter finally found someone other than her parents to be her friend. Sure, she had spent time with Crazy Carl and was able to hold decently long conversations with others, but other people her age were just… a little judgemental. Even though Sonic may be a chaotic, energetic, potentially dangerous hedgehog, at least he gave Y/n someone to confide in.
“So, getting back to the topic of bucket lists…” Sonic trailed off, eyeing the two humans to signify that he wanted them to start talking. Y/n sighed, looking out the window as they passed by a patch of giant oak trees.
“If I were to give you everything on my bucket list, we’d be here for a very long time,” she laughed. “But if you ever come back to earth, we can go over it sometime.” Sonic’s eyes bugged out in excitement.
“I am holding you up to that promise,” he smiled before turning back to Tom. “And you?” Tom breathed deeply, running the ideas through his head.
“Alright, I guess there is one thing,” Sonic and Y/n waited for him to continue as he paused for dramatic effect. “In Green Hills, I’ve always felt more like a babysitter than a cop, you know? So I want a chance to prove myself, under real, heavy pressure. Me, Y/n, and Maddie are going to move to San Francisco and I’m going to become a street cop. And, I don’t know, see if I have what it takes.” He finally looked back down at Sonic only to see his features contorted to one of what looked like a mix of disgust, shock, and betrayal. Y/n’s simply morphed into one of sadness as the idea of leaving was once again brought to the table.
“W-what?” Tom asked, Sonic’s face making him uncomfortable. “Why is your face doing that?”
“You’re leaving Green Hills?” Sonic asked them, his tone having an added sharpness that neither of them had heard before. “Did you know about this?” Sonic turned to Y/n, his jaw clenched and eyes wide. Y/n’s e/c eyes filled with sadness as she looked down to the floor in guilt, giving him all the answers he needed. Tom breathed out heavily.
“Okay-”
“B-b-but why? Why would you want to leave Green Hills?”
“I don’t!” Y/n protested, but Tom sent her a stern look to keep quiet. She looked back down at the floor again, only making Sonic more ticked off.
“This may come as a shock to you, but Green Hills is a very small town,” Tom explained.
“It is not small,” Sonic scoffed. “There are hundreds of people.” “That’s a small town, dude!”
“It’s a perfect town and the people need you! Both of you!” Sonic turned to Y/n, who was doing everything within her power to not cry. “I’ve seen the way that the people talk to you. They may think that you’re different, but there’s only one you. When Crazy Carl needed help setting up his traps for me, he asked for you. When that fat lady from the bakery needed someone to drive to the mills for extra flour, she called you. And as for you-” He turned back to Tom, leaving an awestruck Y/n, but was interrupted by the man.
“Please, all that they have me do is clean out gutters and jump start their cars in the winter. And they may call Y/n for those things too, but they could call anyone!” Tom rolled his eyes. Y/n’s gaze softened as she tried to process in her mind everything that was happening.
“Sure they could call anyone, but they don’t. But they call you guys.” Sonic laid his final card on the table. Tom pursed his lips, not really being able to find another viable excuse for himself. Sonic turned to Y/n only to see her with her eyes already fixed on him, tears glittering just behind her e/c orbs. In the heat of the moment, none of them had noticed the Robotnik-style drone barrelling towards them down the road. It was only when the device shot a typhoon straight through the window, narrowly missing Y/n’s head by an inch, and embedded itself into the dashboard that they all noticed. Y/n let out a glass shattering scream as she ended up slamming against the side of the backseat, in momentary shock from the near death experience. Tom let out a gasp as the vehicle began to sputter, swerving along the road as the drone began to try and reel the truck in. Sonic, however, was still locked inside their heated debate as he stood up on the seat and stared down at Tom.
“You know what? I was wrong, you’re not the Donut Lord at all. You’re more like the Jerk Lord!” Sonic sneered, his anger getting the better of him. Because of Tom’s inability to control the erratic movements of the truck, Y/n kept getting tossed around in the backseat like leftovers getting shoved into the back of the fridge.
“Can you not see the typhoon literally stuck in our dash?” Tom cried out in annoyance. The drone increased its velocity, causing the truck to go slamming into the fenders on the side of the road. Y/n yelped as she got tossed to the opposite side of the truck while Sonic got thrown out the window.
“Sonic!” She screamed, fear filling her veins as she quickly shoved her head out the window to check on her friend. Luckily, he was alright, clinging onto the hood of the car for dear life. But something was… off.
“I was forced from my home. Your home is perfect and you’re leaving it. Why would you do that?” Sonic cried out, his body becoming full of electric blue bolts of energy. His eyes began to burn a luminescent blue as he stared at Tom, his emotions causing the adrenaline to soar above normal levels. Y/n watched with wide eyes as the electricity cast a blue shadow across her face.
“S-Sonic, you’re… glowing!” She stuttered. He quickly looked down and gasped.
“No, no, not again!” Tom quickly slammed on the brakes after giving him a slight warning, but Sonic’s grip wasn’t tight enough as he came flying off the hood, straight over the car.
“Sonic!” Y/n’s voice got lost in the wind as Sonic curled up into an electric ball of energy, and slammed underneath the tire of the Robotnik drone. She watched in pure awe, half of her body hanging out of the truck by now, as the drone went airborne. Her mouth fell open as Sonic disappeared behind it just as the drone crashed into the pavement. Tom quickly made a sharp U-turn, practically tossing Y/n out the window in the process as they quickly made their way back. Before the truck even slowed down to a stop, Y/n kicked the door open and raced out towards the drone, ignoring her father's yells to get back in the truck.
"Sonic!" She screamed, trying to calm her panicking mind. Her footfalls skidded to a stop as she finally found Sonic lying on the ground. "Sonic?" She gently touched the side of his face, a move that startled him awake. He let out a slight groan, clutching his head as she quickly helped him up.
"I guess I had a bonus life," he joked. Y/n let out a laugh, even though there were still tears in her eyes. Sonic gave her a reassuring smile and gently squeezed her hand. It was only then that he realized the damage had caused and let out a joyful whoop. "Oh my god, are you guys seeing this? I took that thing out!" The hedgehog jumped up onto his feet and began doing the floss in order to express his excitement, making Y/n laugh beside him. Even Tom chuckled from his position behind the wheel.
"How are you not dead?" He called.
"I have no idea!" Sonic cheered, doing a bunch of exotic spins.
"Emergency Vial Removal initiated." Sonic and Y/n froze. His emerald eyes met hers in confusion, and the two slowly turned to face the destroyed drone.
"Did that thing just-"
"Yeah, it just spoke…" Y/n nodded, lifting herself onto her feet and slowly approaching the drone with caution. As she began to grow closer, a little divider suddenly opened between the mechanics of the drone, revealing a small metal box. She tilted her head to the side in confusion. Sonic was by her side in seconds doing the same thing.
"What is that?" He asked. Y/n shrugged, but for some reason she felt a compulsion to take it. Like it was meant for her. Hesitantly, she began to inch her hand towards the box, glancing around the other mechanics skeptically in case there were any defense agencies waiting to strike. Fortunately, there were none. She quickly snatched the box out of the divider and turned so that Sonic could see it too.
"Fancy," he breathed. "Open it!"
"What if it's a bomb?" Y/n asked uncertainty, eyeing her friend. He sent her a knowing smirk, placing his hands on his hips.
"When was the last time someone put a bomb in a metal box?"
"Fair," Y/n sighed. She hooked her thumb underneath the opening, and her breath hitched with the anticipation. Counting down from three internally, once she finally reached zero, she flicked the box open.
They gasped in horror.
♡♡♡
"Oh gross!" Sonic scrunched up his nose as he held up one of the glass vials. "It looks like piss!"
"I don't think it is," Y/n shook her head, holding up the other one to the light. There were two little vials with corks sitting snugly inside the box. One was the shade of, well, urine, and the other one was an ice blue. As they were inspecting the flasks, Y/n noticed the white labels on the bottom of the vials. Her mouth dropped open.
"What? This doesn't make any sense..." The one she held had one big word listed: Y/n, her name. The words "Emergency Reversal" were listed in a much smaller font beneath it. She turned to look at Sonic's and saw that it was the exact same thing, only it was Sonic's name on the top. The two stared at each other with wide, confused eyes.
“What does emergency reversal mean?” Sonic asked. You could practically hear Dr. Robotnik flipping out as he watched the two begin to start remembering on his screen. One of his main jobs had been to make sure that those vials never got lost, and what did he manage to do? The one failure in his life and this was it?
Y/n opened her mouth to speak when a loud whirring sound suddenly came from the crashed drone. She slowly set the vials back down in the box and watched with worried eyes. Sonic must have had another one of his feelings as his heart began to pound in panic, his first instinct being to get Y/n as far away from this thing as possible.
“We gotta get out of here!” Without any warning, he swiftly scooped Y/n up into his arms (with the box still snugly held in her hands) and sped off back to the truck. He gently set Y/n back into the backseat just as Tom was picking up speed back down the road. Her face turned bright red with his carefulness and the fact that he had picked her up bridal style in order to protect her. She shook her head, blinking her e/c eyes rapidly in an attempt to shake the butterflies going insane in her stomach. Sonic got settled back into the passenger seat and they both turned to look out the rear view window. They had turned just in time to see what looked like a miniature version of the drone pop out from it’s underside and make its way after the truck like a starved and love deprived child.
“I think that drone just had a baby,” Sonic voiced his thoughts, green eyes wide. As Y/n’s eyes followed the baby drone’s advancements carefully, a very faint sound suddenly invaded her ears. She stiffened, looking around the inside of the truck in confusion. Tom was focused on trying to control the vehicle while Sonic was keeping an intense eye on the enemy, calculating what his next move would be in order to save them. As she looked around, she began to notice that it seemed like the noise wasn’t any random noise, it was a song. No words, just vocalizing.
High and low, then high and low again. Short and mystical, but it was there. “Do you guys hear that?” She asked, furrowing her brows.
“Hear what?” Tom looked confused.
“I don’t hear anything,” Sonic responded, keeping his eyes trailed on the baby drone as it lifted its top to reveal some sort of shooter. It spat out what looked like a heavy metal plate with bright red lasers littering its surface. You would have thought it might have just skidded across the pavement, but it seemed to have a mind of its own as it made its way at a steadily increasing speed towards the truck.
“Look out!” Y/n yelled, hugging the metal box to her chest. At the sudden closeness, she realized just as Tom swerved the vehicle that the singing was coming from the box. Sonic climbed into the backseat with her and slid out into the bed, giving her a reassuring smile when she quickly reached for his arm, fear in her eyes.
“What are you doing?” She asked, her hair blowing into her face.
“I’ll be fine,” he told her, looking back at the drone.
“Where’s he going?” Tom called back. Sonic grit his teeth in slight resentment.
“Just drive the car, I’ll handle this,” he jumped over the tailgate, making sure to hook his arm over the edge so he didn’t fall off. “And if I don’t make it, just ditch me. You seem to be good at that.”
Sonic watched with close eyes as the drone spat out three more of the disks, jumping off the tailgate at just the right time so he landed on two of them. Y/n stuck her head out the window once again and could do nothing but watch in amazement as he skated towards the drone on the things that it was trying to use to kill him. Her eyes widened as he smirked, expertly flipping off of the plates while grabbing one in the process and landing on top of the drone, looking straight into the camera.
“Hey everyone and welcome back to my live stream! Today I’m showing you how to destroy robots. Step one!” And he stuck the plate onto the camera, causing it to instantly malfunction. He sped back into the truck, landing safely on Y/n’s legs as she climbed back into the truck.
He. Was. Amazing.
“That was incredible!” She cheered with him as they watched the drone, shorting out, practically commit suicide by swerving to the side and dying. Even Tom was grinning as he looked back to see Sonic’s job well done. Unfortunately, it was very short lived as yet another drone came racing out of the other one’s side. Only this one looked like an extension of one of the tires with an added bonus of a camera and some personality traits.
“This guy really needs a hobby,” Y/n groaned, slamming her head against the seat in annoyance. As the drone came nearer to them, she suddenly got an idea. “Dad, can you do me a favor?” Tom quickly unbuckled and switched spots with Sonic, telling him to keep the car going straight. No, it probably was not the best idea to let a hedgehog drive, but Y/n was twice the size of him and needed someone to hold onto her and make sure she didn’t go falling out of the vehicle.
She quickly kicked open the door and grabbed Tom’s old baseball bat that he had kept sitting on the floor of the backseat. Her veins were pumping with adrenaline as she carefully climbed halfway out of the car, hooking her foot into the tiny slot where people could put their stuff but never do of the truck. The wind caused her hair to go flying around her face as she tightened her grip on the bat, making sure that Tom had a good arm wrapped around her waist and the other tightly holding onto her leg.
The drone neared the car once more, protruding spikes in an attempt to pop their tires. A surge of anger went through her as she grit her teeth, swinging in for the kill only to miss.
“What the fuck, get over here you little piece of trash!” She growled. For once, Tom didn’t say anything about her language. Probably because he was thinking the same thing. Sonic suddenly swerved the truck to the right, glancing over at Y/n worriedly.
“Quick suggestion, try rolling yourself up into a ball and smashing it with your body,” he attempted to try and lighten the mood. Tom let out a yelp as he swerved again, nearly sending Y/n out the door. She gritted her teeth and attempted to swing again.
“Where’d you learn how to drive?” Tom yelled angrily.
“From this manual, it’s happening right now!” Sonic yelled back excitedly. Y/n went in for another strike, letting out a frustrated groan as she accidentally hit the gas cap instead of her intended target. Was it just her, or was the drone looking smugly at her? It didn’t even have a face, but the feeling… the feeling was there. That asshole.
“Bring it in closer!” She called.
“What?”
“Hit the brakes!” Tom yelled. It took him a couple tries, but once he found it and slammed it on, it sent both the drone and Y/n slamming into the side door. She let out a slight groan in pain, but refocused on the advantage and swung as hard as she could, letting out all of the pent up anger and frustration she had been keeping in for years on the little robot. It let out a small whine, struggling to keep upright, and then finally crumbled onto the road. A small smile grew onto her face as she let out a whoop, Tom reeling his daughter back into the car and giving her a tight hug.
“You are never doing that again,” he told her, overjoyed that she was safe.
The joy ride wasn’t over yet, however, for as soon as the trio had finally gotten back into their regular positions and settled down, yet another drone came floating by Sonic’s open window.
“Aww,” he cooed at the tiny little drone the size of a horsefly. “This one is cute, let’s keep ‘em.” The second he finished his sentence, he instantly regretted it. Y/n let out a shriek as it began the slow process of cutting off the roof of the car with what appeared to be very small, but very dangerous lasers. Smoke and flames began to slide over the windshield as it made its way around.
“Come on!” Tom cried in annoyance.
“Seriously man, take up knitting or something!” Y/n groaned, batting at it as it came to her side. Finally, the entire roof was taken off, flying past the truck bed and landing somewhere that would probably get someone else in a car accident. All three let out a scream from the impact.
“You’ve got car insurance, right?” Sonic asked worriedly. To make matters even worse, and because Robotnik has nothing better to do with his free time, another helicopter robot came flying into view. This time, Sonic was able to catch it. Y/n leaned in closer behind him as she watched him inspect it.
“Buzz off,” he scoffed, detaching the wings from the tiny body. The second that the two were separated, the body began to emit a rapid ticking sound.
“Uh oh,” Y/n’s heart stopped. “Beeping isn’t good.”
“What? Beeping is never good, get it away!” Tom cried out, alarms ringing off in his brain. There were already wanted signs of his and his daughter’s faces all over town, the last next thing he needed was to have the two kids in his care wind up dead on the side of the road. Sonic made many attempts to shake the thing off, but they were all futile. It seemed like the bot had some sort of imbedding device as it stuck onto his glove like velcro.
“I can’t get it off!” He cried out, even Y/n trying to help him take it off. Tom quickly pulled over off the side of the road. The second they were near the woods, Sonic flew out of the car, trying every position he could think of to try and get it off. Finally, he stopped, looking around in confusion.
“Did I get it?” He asked, standing with the bot glued to his furry blue forehead.
“No,” Y/n jumped out of the car and ran over to him, followed by her father. She used a tissue to remove it from his head and threw it as far as she could, but it remained stuck to her hand. Her breathing became rapid as she struggled to shake it off, Tom grabbing her hand and holding it still so Sonic could peel it off. In a matter of very stressful seconds, he was finally able to take it off, setting it down on a rock. Y/n breathed a sigh of relief next to him.
“Haha! Nailed it!” Sonic cried out, holding his hand up for a high five. A sigh of relief escaped from her lips as she held up her hand for him, the two standing a bit too close than they should have been to the rock.
The ticking finally came to a stop and the bomb exploded, taking Y/n and Sonic with it. The world went black for the two as they crashed into the ground.
The only sound to be heard was Tom’s frantic screaming.

[SPOILERS FOR THE SONIC MOVIE]
Ok, with the new trailer approaching, I thought that it would be good if I made a master post containing everything that we know for sure are happening in the Sonic Movie, thanks to an AMA done back in March.
The AMA was then proven to be true when the Sonic Movie trailer debuted in Cinemacon a month later, matching with a lot of what he said. Then Toywiz accidentally leaked that they were going to do some Sonic Movie toys, and one of them matched again with that AMA. It is legit.
So, needless to say, I’m going to literally spoil the entire movie. From beggining to the end. You’ve been warned.
Direct citations are in “”.
-The Movie is basically going to be a “Sonic; Origins”, it’s going to give backstory to Sonic and Robotnik, it’ll talk about how the two of them met, and how they became mortal enemies.
-Only the Robotnik name is used. No mention of the “Eggman” name.
-He gave the movie a 7/10 grade.
-If he had to compare this movie to a previous one, it would be the 2014 TMNT movie: “Id say it is more TMNT with reference to story and action balance. It's a solid mix between engaging action which continues to develop the bromance between sonic and Tom.”
- The movie is indeed, focused for the younger demographic, but there is some bonus for the long time fans: “ Its definitely being targeted towards youth demo. It seems their goal is to intro sonic to the next Gen of fans. More so with access to their parents wallets for spin off merch and happy meal toys. I enjoyed it similar to seeing transformers. Don't expect the green mile storytelling but turn your brain off and just enjoy for what it is. The cast does a great job”
-About Sonic himself in the movie:
*In order to survive, he keeps stealing stuff and living in the shadows of the Green Hills town. He usually steals food from super markets to eat, and also he steals a LOT of sneakers. He ends up being treated as an urban legend, called as the “Blue devil” by the locals, until he is discovered.
*Sonic isn’t from Earth, he comes from another dimension that is inhabited by other animals like him. Sonic’s past will be explored.
*It’s revealed that he was raised by an owl when he was a baby. Everything seems to point that she is a regular owl, not an anthro one. She eventually ends up dying for some unknown reasons, which will be a “tearjerker” scene.
*”Rings are how sonic got to earth. He can throw one and imagine a place and it will take him. He is fast from his first steps.”
*About Sonic’s ‘eletricity’ powers, he does it only when he focuses or is extremely emotional. His charged run is why he gets detected and why the power on the entire Pacific Northwest goes down and that’s how Robotnik comes into the film.
*But Sonic will need to learn how to control his powers though.
-About references to the old games, he said that: “It’s a good balance between giving the old fans something but introducing him to kids. I went in not knowing it was gonna be screened or any expectations. Cheesy but enjoyed it from start to finish. Jim Carrey kills the role.”
-About the movie’s plot:
* Sonic ends up being far away from his home planet and grows up on Earth. Ends up alone after some time and grew up staying hidden. Loneliness gets to him which leads to him making a massive energy disturbance, knocking out the power on the entire Pacific Northwest.
The government, scared by the blackout, decides to bring in Robotnik to find out why the energy disturbance happened. Hijinks ensue and a good story is told. Tom and sonic become best friends.
-About the action:
“ Action scenes were great in story telling and execution wise. Effects weren't complete so a lot of it was still early cgi and the hidden actors playing sonic. At one point he was just a blue doll on the counter lol”
-The movie is aiming for a PG Rating.
-About Robotnik:
“He's just a psycho super smart doc that works for the gov initially. They give him the power and he goes full Eggman lol. He's super obnoxiously smart too. Makes tons of comments in the film about how superior his brain is lol. Really fun role for Jim Carrey.”
“He doesn’t rock the signature look until tail end of movie. Has the typical long coat and all dark evil scientist look. Short mustache as well initially”
Robotnik trying to catch Sonic eventually makes him go more and more insane and obsessed with the hedgehog. With him eventually getting the “Eggman” look.
-”Lots of humor and fun for all ages. Kids ate the comedy up. Sonic dances right after an short battle and kids about died laughing in the theater.”
-The Chaos Emeralds are NOT present in this movie.
-There is a post credit scene:
“Robotnik is defeated and ends up on a foreign planet [possibly Sonic’s World] that Sonic was supposed to escape to in the event of being found on Earth. He is now hefty and rocking the full blown stache”
- “Sonic and Tom end up helping each other solve their personal conflicts. They balanced Sonic and Tom pretty well and they are a good duo.”
- There’s a scene in San Francisco that is a direct homage to City Escape.
-The only characters from the games that show up are Robotnik and Sonic.
- The movie has one car chase scene. Sonic does the floss to celebrate (that dance that is used in Fortnite) and “the kids ate it up”. About product placement, there is two, one with the Olive Garden restaurant and Puma. Tom also gets a gift card as an apology at the end from the gov guy who initially brings Robotnik into the picture.
-Yes, Sonic will floss in the movie.
- Tika Sumpter plays the character Annie Wachowski. She is a vet that is very gentle with Sonic. It’s thanks to her that Sonic felt that he could trust the Wachowskis.
- In order to retrieve Sonic’s lost rings, Sonic and Tom embark on a roadtrip to San Francisco, using Tom’s Tacoma.
The Tacoma’s roof is ripped out due to the automated car that Robotnik sent to attack them. This leads to a conflit between Sonic and Tom.
-About how Sonic and Tom meet:
“Tom has racoon problems in his trash. When he sees Sonic face to face for the first time. He tranqs him and puts him in a cage.”
Robotnik shows up and they escape and Tom begrudgingly agrees to help. His main concern is moving to SF to prove to himself that he can handle real cop crime and not Montana small world problems. You see it early on for character development.
-The movie’s runtime is around 90 minutes.
- “There were stakes and it balanced between a family adventure and action movie.”
-About the final battle:
" Yeah there's a good scene between doc and the good guys" It’ll be about Sonic and Robotnik running across the entire world using the Power Rings, they’ll end up in different places from Earth, such as Egypt and Paris.
-About Robotnik’s lackey:
Agent Stone is Robotnik’s right hand. He is very funny and a big Robotnik fanboy. He’s super happy to be working with him.
- “Tom was really enjoyable. Fun and backwoods kind of smart. He wants to prove to himself that he can make it as a big city cop”
- The film will begin showing Sonic as a baby. He’ll be saved by an owl, that’ll be sort of like his mom owl. His mom owl dies, and then Sonic will realize that he is on his own on Earth, and alone.
-There’s a scene where Sonic and Tom stop by a bar localized in the American highway path between San Francisco and Green Hills. It’s full of buff bikers, with tatoos and everything. Sonic accidentaly creates a fight in the bar.
-Robotnik has as a part of his arsenal drones, tanks, automated cars, and realistic robots.
-Sonic ends up becoming a sensation in Green Hills, and the locals begin to appreciate him, and begin to defend him.
-How the final battle ends:
The fight across the world between Sonic and Robotnik ends up back in Montana via the rings. The locals from Green Hills help by getting Robotnik’s attention. Sonic then super electro charges a spin dash, and knocks Robotnik into a ring which sends him to another planet [possibly Sonic’s World] and they technically win for now.
-The final battle begins, I believe, at this part:

Thoughts on Sonic 2:
Potential Spoilers below
I really quite liked it, probably a bit better than the first one which I thought was pretty decent already. Giving Sonic Tails and Knuckles to bounce off of really helps the live action stuff feel more like real Sonic as opposed to an adaptation (though obviously it’s still its own thing and we’ll never really make them the same worlds as in the game) Tails was simple but nice and Knuckles’ character arc was the meat of the story, I imagine they had some issues since they had to split the story between them but it was good, they basically made Knuckles Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy with a tragic backstory which I think is alright, they kinda split the difference between Sonic Adventures wise and mystic Knuckles and Sonic Boom dumbass Knuckles which was probably a good choice because it shows we’re taking this a little more seriously but also not that the series is just gonna be edgelords (that’s next time)
There was ahandful of cringey humor bits in there that made me grown but at the same time they’re acceptable because I get the feeling it’s not like the movie’s expecting us to think it’s cool but it’s definitely something Sonic and Eggman think is cool and they’re both tremendous dorks so it’s a little bit better off than a lot of modern movies that throw memes and flossing in your face because Sonic himself is the kind of guy that really kind of likes cringey shit so I think that works. The movie’s relatively long and there were a few scenes where I’m like “Okay why is this here?” and basically every time we cut back to the parents I’m just waiting for us to get back to Sonic but at least for the most part they have their own isolated subplot which makes it easier to just kinda lean into the Sonic stuff more, the Wedding stuff was absolutely unnecessary but did have some fun moments and I think that’s why we have a lot of these scenes, a lot of people approach film criticism with the ‘you’re done editing when there’s nothing left you can remove’ idea but honestly if you’re having fun and the movie’s not three hours long I don’t see that much problem with some fluff here and there, sometimes fun is its own excuse and that’s a very Sonic attitude to take. Still kinda hoping the next movie basically has Sonic renting out a frat house since they probably can’t fit him, Tails and Knuckles into Tom’s house so we can basically have the plot be “Love you mom and dad, gonna go do plot stuff now bye” so we can cut that down a bit more, like I understand it’d be a dick move to just yeet the actors out of the movie and they act as an emotional grounding for Sonic but I think we can streamline it a bit.
Both Sonic and Knuckles fights were pretty dope and probably my favorite thing of the movie was getting to see Chaos!Eggman, like that’s just such a neat idea and it could only really work with this version of Eggman from the live action movies because it’s basically like giving a petulant manchild the powers of Discord from My Little Pony, kinda wish we got a little more from him in base form before he just makes the Death Egg Robot but I get that he’s not really a brawler so we’re not gonna have a Batman Arkham Asylum moment where the genius villain becomes the Hulk and beats the shit out of him but idk I think him going a little Palpatine with the green lightning would’ve been cool. (also the evil playlist song was just an instrumental this time and while it was cool to see Eggman playing his own leg like a guitar the song is nowhere near as fun as Where Evil Grows and I kinda just wish they had a better song choice for that scene) and the last bit right before it happened had me going “Supersonicsupersonicsupersonicsupersonicsupersonicsupersonic!!!” in my head because I was so hyped, like they really teased us last time with this Lord Slug False Super Sonic bullshit but the gold spiky boi is finally here and he looks great and it was really cool They kind of imply Sonic just gave up the power instead of it being a time limit so idk if it just doesn’t have a time limit in this verse or Sonic turned it off before he realized it was a time limit because if it’s an active choice for him to deactivate Super Sonic each time now you gotta wonder how many times the Chaos Emeralds being scattered and causing havoc it’ll take for him to be like ‘You know maybe I’ll hang onto these and stay in this form a while’
But I really like how the Chaos Emeralds basically lead right into the probably plot of Sonic 3 now that they’re scattered, I get the feeling people that aren’t super invested in Sonic lore are probably going to be really confused at what happened with the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald because even I’m a little vague on it and it’s kinda complicated because the Master Emerald now just has the power to negate the Chaos Emeralds basically acting as a counter-force to their usual power but even the games kinda gloss over that a good deal.
BUT SHADOW!!! SHADOW IS THERE AND HE’S GONNA BE IN SONIC 3!!! Like I really don’t know how they’re gonna handle him in the goofy live action world but given each sequel seems to be going darker and edgier bit by bit we may actually get some cool shit from him if we basically get the plot of Sonic Adventure 2 next time (though that would require Rouge’s bat titties and idk if the live action movies are quite ready to jump that far in yet) also we get a definite cliffhanger about whether Eggman survived or not which keeps it open for Jim Carrey to dip out if he wants, like I feel like these movies wouldn’t be the same without his Grinch/Riddler hybrid but I understand he wants to retire and he definitely gave this performance his all (also if he didn’t survive that kinda makes Sonic a murderer I guess?) but given that Shadow’s backstory is tied with Dr. Gerald it could give some interesting insight into Stone trying to uncover Eggman’s legacy and past or something and give some opportunity to dive into the Eggman family without him if we really need to, so I’m excited to see where we go from here and if they do my boy Shadow justice in Sonic 3 I will be very happy with the trilogy, if they wanna do more after that that’s fine but like just gimme a solid third one with my edgelord hedgehog hedgelord son and we’ll be good bro)

SHOWER REPAIR
It took every ounce of Stela’s self-control not to hurl the wrench across the room. Three weeks. The showers had been broken for three kriffing weeks, and she was starting to lose it. Contrary to what her son seemed to think, jumping into a creek wasn’t the same as actually bathing, and Stela was reaching the point where she needed the simple pleasure a hot shower could offer her.
Okay, to be fair the showers themselves were not broken, they would still vomit water out onto anyone who turned the handle, but the water heater was shot, and if Stela wanted to be drowned in cold water she’d just go stand out in the rain.
Tossing the wrench back into the tool box Stela clapped some of the dirt and grime from her hands before heading for the Galaxy’s most frustrating prisoner.
——-
“Let me guess,” Stela said, crossing her arms and leaning against the door, looking down at Ren. “You have no intention of talking, so torturing you would just be a waste of both our times.” Ren’s lip twitched into a smirk at that.
“You’re learning,” he said, shifting against his bonds. “So now what, Commander? You kill me?”
Stela wanted to hit him, because she wasn’t giving up that easily. Not yet at least. But she also didn’t have the energy to deal with his particular brand of bullshit, either.
“I don’t think so,” she said. “Think I’m going to go try and fix the showers instead. At this rate I should have the hot water running by the time the war is over.”
He seemed to perk up a bit at the mention of a shower, and it occurred to Stela that he probably hadn’t properly bathed in who knows when. Certainly not since they had taken him prisoner. She doubted he counted the few times she had dumped a bucket of soapy water onto him.
“I could help you,” he said. “I’m good at fixing things.” Stela raised an eyebrow, pushing off of the door and walking over to him.
“Yeah? And what would be in it for you?” She asked.
“A shower.” So her suspicions were right. She thought it over for a moment, weighing the risks. Letting him loose could mean the death of everyone, unless she had some way of keeping him under control.
Which, she realized, she did.
“Alright,” she said. “You can try. But I’m going to need some reinforcements first. I’m not dumb enough to let you walk around without some back up.”
——–
When Stela said she was going to fetch reinforcement, Ren was expecting her to return with some of her men, maybe even a small army. Instead what she returned with was far more surprising, and more than a little unnerving.
The largest Vornskr Ren had ever seen padded into the room behind Stela, its black fur bristling and its eyes never once leaving him. It growled low in its throat, bared its teeth, but despite what he would have expected it didn’t make a move for him, nor did it try to attack Stela.
“This is Victory,” Stela said, smirking at his obvious dread. “Try anything and you’ll be her dinner.”
The vornskr leaned her weight ever so slightly against Stela—a show of affection and solidarity—as she let her jaw hang open. Strands of saliva clung to her teeth like sugar floss, thin and dripping, in what could only be described as an expression of sinister delight.
Victory was a smart animal; Stela suspected the vorsnkr was smarter than her wild kin, and there was no doubt that she knew exactly the effect she had on Ren.
Good.
“Well, let’s get to it then, shall we?” The clap cut through the tense silence with a fake brightness, the forced cheer jarring in the current atmosphere.
Stela saw Ren flinch at the noise slightly, his movement mirrored in turn by Victory’s suddenly wary tension. She didn’t exactly feel great about letting her prisoner out of his cell seeing as there was still so much that could go wrong. It was a risky move, and if Ren somehow got the slip on them it could be disastrous not only for her but for the whole militia.
But he was on enough suppressants to knock out a bantha—assuming someone felt the need to give a bantha force suppressants—and due to their periodic starvation, his energy had to be low. With Victory there, and with the other incentive for him to cooperate, it wasn’t the… stupidest thing she’d ever done.
Not that it would be much comfort, in the worst case.
“Keep an eye on him.” She murmured to the vornskr, giving her side a few firm thumps as she led the way to the water tanks.
They had received more than a few looks by the time they’d finally arrived; seeing their most high profiled prisoner being escorted out of his cell was something to behold after all. The man was met with all sorts of sneers and spitting, but beyond a quick show of his teeth paid them no mind. Stela didn’t have that option, keeping a critical eye on the members of the Militia they passed. She had to make sure that nobody tried anything, not that she could necessarily blame them if they did.
Still though, they needed Ren for information, information that they would never receive if he was gunned down now.
But they made it to the water heaters without incident, and almost immediately the man set himself to work. No doubt the promise of a shower was more than enough incentive for him. Stela briefly considered going back on her word—letting him fix the showers and then sending him straight back to his cell. It wasn’t like she really owed him anything anyways; he’d caused more than enough grief and heartache in the galaxy.
But the thought didn’t sit easy with her, it seemed unnecessarily cruel. A curse of her too soft heart, perhaps, but the Commander could at least rationalize it with the fact that Ren stank to the high heavens. Allowing him some modicum of hygiene would at the very least make it slightly more bearable to be in the same room as him. And who knew, maybe it might also make him more cooperative as well?
She watched what Ren was doing, not only on alert for any sort of tricks—though, with Victory at her side she wasn’t too concerned about thatbut also to learn what he was doing. No doubt they’d continue to have these problems in the future seeing as the heaters were old and they didn’t have any easy replacements.
It looked like Ren had gone straight to the electrical conduits, swapping out the wrench for a much finer set of soldering tools. Stela was curious, and slightly impressed with the assured way he went about rewiring connections.
“When, uh, when the problem is no hot water, it’s usually a matter of the energy source not heating properly.” He offered absently. “Some of the wire connections went bad.”
“Uh huh.” She watched as the man reassembled the heater, running a few diagnostics on it before moving on to check the others.
“Give it a few hours, and you should have hot water.” Ren shrugged once he was finished, standing back up. “It’ll take some time for them to all kick in properly, given the size of the base.”
Which was understandable. Stela was a little put out, really, she’d hoped for a more immediate result, but she couldn’t say she was dissatisfied. The hot water heaters were working, and that was a relief. It was an unusual luxury on a military base, especially a slapstick one like the militia ran; water was a precious resource which was why most relied more on sonic showers.
Luckily for them, though, Depredador had more than enough water to spare, allowing them this for which she was eternally grateful. Nothing against the sonic showers to be sure, they were incredibly practical, but nothing could beat a good old fashioned hot shower.
“Alright then.” Victory climbed back to her feet at Stela’s brisk tone, resuming her position near Ren. “We’ll take you back to your cell, and then you’ll get your shower tonight.”
After the rest of the militia had gone to bed, or gone on guard rotation. It would be safer for them then, and less crowded.
Ren didn’t resist as he was led back, though he did have a thoughtful expression on his face. “I’m surprised you’re carrying through with that. It’s not exactly like I’m in a position to hold you to your word.”
His statement hit close to Stela’s earlier thoughts, and she shrugged. “I stand by my word, unlike some people.”
Ren didn’t answer, and when she had him properly restrained, he still had that same contemplative look.
#stela is better than u ren#she keeps her word like a decent person#hot showers are the best thing and she deserves all of them#LOADed With Sin#theload#submission

Things Worth Spending Max Money On For A Better Life
It’s good to be frugal. If you are, you’ll likely never get into financial trouble. I was very frugal saving between 50% – 70% of my after tax income until about age 35. Then I decided there was no point saving so much money if I wasn’t going to live a little.
Instead of trying to walk the entire city of Budapest, I ponied up 30 Euros like a baller to get on the Hop On Hop Off bus. Instead of just having lemon water with my rib-eye steak, I started ordering a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. As I pushed the spending envelope a little more each year, I gradually realized I didn’t miss the money. My lifestyle actually got better.
The root of my frugality stems from watching how my parents spent their money. My father always drove a beater and my mother utilized things until the very end. When you’re gunning for early retirement, every single dollar counts. And once you’ve left the work force, there is a lingering fear of running out of money that’s hard to elude until after about the third year.
If you suffer from frugality disease, here are some things worth spending a premium on for a better life.
Things Worth Spending Max Money On
* Mattress. You spend a third of your life sleeping. It makes sense to get the absolutely most comfortable, most supportive mattress you can afford. Go top of the line so each day you are fully rested and rejuvenated for the grind ahead. Just be aware that mattresses have massive markups, which is why there’s been a plethora of mattress startups over the years.
* Vision. Vision may be our most important sense. Therefore, it’s absolutely worth buying the most comfortable contacts or glasses. If you wear glasses, go for the thinnest lenses with anti-reflection and a scratch proof coating. Buy daily wear contacts that contain the latest breathable technology. Stop reusing your disposable contacts beyond their recommended usage. Get sunglasses with UV protection.
* Dental care. Throw away your $5 manual tooth brush and buy the best sonic tooth brush with UV sanitizer that brushes hundreds of times faster per minute. You can’t grow back your teeth or your gums. Floss and brush at least twice a day. Your older self will thank you.
* Work clothes & shoes. Instead of buying a lot of mediocre quality clothes and shoes, buy only a few items– as if you were building a boutique of high quality items. Purchase only the most finely woven fabrics for your suits and the finest grain leather for your shoes. Sure, you may have to pay 2-3X the average price, but the items will last longer, and you’ll have less clutter.
* Baby care products. Babies are helpless. Buy the most comfortable, waste absorbing diapers possible. Get the right creams for diaper rash. Feed them only the healthiest food. Why risk anything when they are developing their foundation.
* Sports equipment. If you’re serious about performance, then you might as well give yourself the best chance to perform by buying the best equipment. You’ve already got enough to worry about trying to improve your physical fitness and skill.
* Prime property. You want to buy property in the most prime location possible. Prices hold up better in a downturn and rise faster in an upturn because there is only a limited supply. Think about prime property as being located at the apex of a triangle under which there’s a huge base that’s always looking to move up.

* Home appliances. Given it costs the same to install a $500 shower head and a $100 shower head, you might as well get the best shower head possible. The same goes for tiles, toilets, bath tubs, hot tubs, cabinets, faucets, floors, molding, and paint. The worst is when a home seller remodels on the cheap. This causes the savvy home buyers to offer low purchase prices because they know they will be ripping everything out again.
* Home theater system. Buy the highest definition TV and most enriching surround sound system and you’ll never want to spend money going to the movies ever again. Given you’re never going to the movies again, you’ll make back your home theater system cost in no time.
* Mobile phone. The average person checks their phone 80 times a day. Some of us who have internet businesses check a whole lot more. Given the data plan costs the same regardless of the quality of phone, you might as well get the best phone possible.
* Wellness. Massages, physical therapy, acupuncture, therapy, medicine, and coaching are all things worth spending top dollar on. Thanks to technology and globalization, life has become grossly complicated and stressful for many people. Physical and mental health are priceless.
* Vacations. The average private sector U.S. worker receives only 16 paid vacation days and holidays a year. One in four Americans does not have a single paid day off. Therefore, if you plan to go on a rare vacation, you might as well make it the best adventure or enjoy the best amenities possible. If you want 30 or more paid vacation days and holidays a year, work in New Zealand, Italy, Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, or Austria.
* Food. Your body is your temple. If you eat junk, you’re going to start feeling and looking like junk. Your energy, mood, and outlook are all affected by the food you eat. It’s worth paying a premium for fresh fruits, vegetables, and fish.
* Car Safety. According to data compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2016, 37,461 people were killed in 34,436 crashes, an average of 102 per day. There are supposedly over five million crashes in the US per year. If you have a dependent or a small child, it’s worth buying the safest car you can comfortably afford – even if it means breaking the 1/10th rule for car buying.
* K-12 Education. If your public grade school system has low marks, then either move to an area that has high marks or pay up for a private grade school with high marks. Education is one of the most valuable gifts you can give your child. It was only after I graduated from business school that I realized how valuable a good education was for my career and beyond. Knowledge, confidence, and connections are integral parts to achieving a happy and financially independent life. As for university, highly ranked public universities offer better value if you are paying rack rate.
* Web hosting. Not only do you want to buy a private domain name such as FrugalForLife.com versus wordpress.frugalforlife.com to make your site legit, you should also pony up for at least shared web hosting to make your site run faster. Bluehost is offering a a sale for shared hosting as low as $2.65/month, and I’m sure many other hosting companies are as well. If your site starts gaining traction, you can always upgrade your services. After three years of using basic shared hosting services, I’m now paying a guy about $160/month for a private dedicated server because you guys are worth it. Up time and security are paramount when it comes to running a large site.
Identify The Things Most Important To You
It’s important we identify things that are most important to us and spend accordingly. Don’t cheap out on everything on your path to financial freedom! For the most part, I always recommend buying less and focusing on quality over quantity. Having a house full of clutter doesn’t do anybody any good. Further, I’ve never regretted spending up on an experience. Great experiences tend to appreciate with time.
It’s strange, but despite a rising net worth thanks to a raging bull market, I don’t have a desire to buy anything new. I’m content with our cozy home, our one family car, and the scrumptious food we eat every day. Being able to see the best healthcare providers at UCSF for my family is one of the things I’m most happy about. Where I do plan to spend more money on are services to help save time at home. But that will be a topic for another post.
What are some things you value that are not on my list? What are some things on my list you don’t agree with? Any holiday blockbuster deals you’ve seen that are worth taking advantage of? I think I may just buy more Amazon stock instead.
