met a VERY charming lil friend yesterday who i have never (knowingly) seen before!!! 🖤💛

this is the Sequoia Pitch moth (Synanthedon sequoiae), yes, moth! these fascinating little creatures bear an incredible resemblance to members of the family Vespidae, like common paper wasps and yellowjackets, and that’s no simple coincidence!

the appearance of these moths is an example of Batesian mimicry, a type of mimicry where one species mimics the warning signals of another species, but without having the same harmful or undesirable defences.

in this case these moths look like they may give you a nasty sting, but really they’re about as harmless as a moth can be! (plus they have gorgeous slightly iridescent black-lined wings and fluffy little shrimp-like tails! absolute cuties!)

Pre divorce shadowpeach didn't seem to be the type to fight a lot. In fact the shadowpeach divorce probably blew up that big due to all the unsaid frustrations they never let out.

So I'm just imagining shadowpeach never fighting in an obvious way (closest to fighting would be backhanded comments or barbed words) but that just makes things more unsettling

oh yeah 100% it didn’t help that swk was always leaving FFM out of his need to get stronger and be the best and be respected. not to mention they probably never saw their times together as the right moment to voice their concerns out loud because this was their time to wind down and they just had to wait it out, wait until everything was perfect enough to have those talks

mmmm. more hw thoughts to distract myself. tsukasa’s good at cooking and packs lunches for his siblings and himself ofc, but once he meets rui he also starts bringing homemade lunches to school for him. and also sends stuff back with rui for nene so neither of them are eating nothing but frozen meals or not eating at all. eventually once the group is closer and they start having sleepovers tsukasa brings food for all of them every single time. its a game to guess what he’s going to bring now. in general i like to think one of tsukasa’s love languages is acts of service and it very much applies to hw. no one is ever starving w/ chef tsukasa around. he loves his friends <3

I’m looking into getting some hatching eggs from a place not too far from here that seems really good, they have lots of rare and cool breeds.their website says they’re sold out of Faverolles but I’ll call tomorrow and find out if they’ll have them anytime soon, otherwise I’m looking at Bielefelders, Heritage Plymouth Rocks, Swedish Flower Hens, and Hedemoras, or maybe even Hmong chickens! I’m interested in these landrace breed that they have, since the chicks would likely hatch with a nice variety of colors, patterns, shapes, and features which I really like in my flock. They’re not cheap, but since I can drive there I’d save on shipping (it’s probably safer for the eggs too) and I’d really like to move away from hatchery birds and get more high-quality, healthy and friendly birds.

Not a question but as another ‘every panel’ blog owner (I can’t switch accounts since this is my main but I run the all-toga one ^^) I really look up to you and you’re one of my main inspirations that pushed me towards starting my own blog under that category. You have determination and you put hard work into making sure you post daily and that is admirable to be honest; if you ever need to hear it: I find you really cool and fascinating to be real with you, even if we never talked and I love your personality just basing it off the small things I’ve seen and I can tell anyone would love to be around you :)

the ones i write for ummm, lowkey i didn’t really think about that yet !! i’d be fine writing for basically anyone in haikyuu. i don’t have a favorite from there but i like all the characters if that makes sense idk 😭 for kn8!! ooo i would like to write more for reno / hoshina / narumi, but maybe when the 2nd season comes around ill write for the less popular characters too!!
