Welp. He tried it. The closer to the Chuck (Charleston) the richer the accent. We speak a form of Seminole creole, mixed with African, Native and English. People mistake it for southern slang, but it actually has syntax rules like any full language. Sadly, the language and much of the culture is threatened by the educational system, government and private land grabs and rising sea levels. (We are coastal peoples centralized around Southeastern sea islands and inland rivers.) Yes, many of us are your mixed "Creek" and African indigenous people. Indigenous people are fighting on several fronts to protect the earth, their cultures and their own lives. We we never "thugs" or "savages", we're a heavily traumatized people trying to get through life without understanding the resources newly available to us to cope. Be gentle, be patient, most of all, be respectful. ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿✊🏼 -------------------------------------------- Reposted from @geecheeexperience (@get_regrann) - How we use a few words in a scenario #longeye #GeecheeExperience #Geechee #Geechie #Gullah #gullahgeechee #gullahgeechie #aave #africanamericanvernacularenglish #africandiaspora #GeecheeDiaspora #blackdiaspora #caribbeanconnection #languagepreservation #endangeredlanguages #Charleston #chucktown (at Urban Shaman Company) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1dznfiH8d3/?igshid=u26726xkh3lw

Pathfinder Update
We finally got to do Pathfinder! Today was a bit short but it went well enough, we’re setting up for BIG THINGS!
Valka ran after Lord Sebastien, the vampire master of Ichorglen, Nik had run after Valka, and Tisiphone grabbed Kii’s leg as she floated above her and ran after Nik. We chased the Lord all about the manor to no avail (in a rather Scooby-Doo-esque chase scene), before nearly catching him at the manor’s entrance. He took off into the approaching twilight in the form of a bat, off towards the docks where Hara, the Goremore’s parents, and the other adventuring party that we’d embarked with were being kept.
The manor’s shadowy butler was going to look after the collapsed, armoured vampire hunter. Tisiphone did not trust like that, but there were bigger things going on, and honestly, she had not slept for a day and a night at this point, so her critical thinking was lacking currently.
Kii created a dimension door to get us closer, but we couldn’t beat the vampire lord whatsoever. We made it to the docks and and indeed Lord Sebastien was there. Also at the docks were the crates that the magical bullshit crystals were loaded into the iron fish, which we now realized was bedecked in Pragian colours. The vampire lord, and some choice lesser vampires of his, were awaiting our arrival.
Lord Sebastien was quite upset at our attempted assassination, and he was going to let it out on us and the Goremores. Nik, Tisiphone, and Valka, however, helped devolve the opening remarks into a shouting match. Kii, meanwhile slipped away, and made herself invisible. She snuck into the building Hara, the parents, and the other adventuring group were in, and found that the building within was rigged to blow. She couldn’t disarm it, and thankfully did not make the attempt.
Kii made desperate signs to us from  to not escalate things while she tried to work something out. Valka brought up how he had found the current circumstances regrettable, as he was rather valued by the Tygrys family (namely Hekhata), and likely would be terribly missed if he was slain. Similarly, Nik spoke of how he would be rather missed by the king, bringing forth Lord Sebastien’s interest. The vampire seemed very interested in King Tygrys, to say the least, now that he knew we were actually somewhat close to the royal family. Tisiphone, for her part, was trying to pick a fight and get to killing the vampires.
Things.... surprisingly deescalated? Lord Sebastien suddenly was willing to talk more civilly, as he had something of an unrequited love for the King, and saw us as a direct line to him. I feel like I wasn’t paying close attention, but regardless, things somehow became cordial, the vampire ordered his necromancer to kill the Pragians in the iron fish (which he did with eldritch power that crushed the submarine like a tin can, oozing blood and oil), and TIsiphone collapsed on some nearby crates. Hara and Mara were reunited with their parents, Jor’gagu, Bell, and Longeye left on their own accord, and we finally had our payload of crystals to bring to Tygrys City.
And so everyone, at the behest of Lord Sebastien, stayed the night at the awful vampire manor, with little complaint. Everyone slept for nearly 12 hours, as marching hither and thither, after getting no sleep all night, and fighting vampires continually had utterly worn us down. The shadow butler made the group a great breakfast when we had woke, and while everyone else ate without reserve Tisiphone was not particularly happy, but the food was particularly well-made. Tisi was remiss to let such bloodsuckers live, but her tune did change when Lord Sebastien was bidding us farewell, and the carriage that would see us back to Tygrys City was being pulled by a team of 4 nightmares. TIsiphone’s inner horse girl came to slowly came to light as she inspected them, while the lord told her how intelligent they were, and to keep her fingers away from their mouths, lest they bite off anything they fancy. Tisi heeded no such instruction, and the horses did not attempt to bite the fingers of her clockwork arm. She was very excited to look after them over the course of the trip back.
Getting back to Tygrys City took about 4 days, and aside from the cold weather it was pleasant enough. When we arrived we started to unload the crystals and get them ready to present to the King. Once all of the party’s belongings were taken off the carriage the nightmares said goodbye Tisiphone specifically (no one else heard them talk and Tisi will likely never try to convince them otherwise), and shifted planes to get back home with the carriage. And so we presented the crystals, and King Tygrys was mightily pleased.
King Tygrys was very pleased to tell us that the airship program was coming together and now it could keep moving ahead, though he was surprised it took us a week to go out to the magma caverns and get them back (and he had been a bit worried when the ship he had sent along the river came back without any of the adventurers he had sent). Valka brought up Lord Sebastien’s "helpfulness” in our acquisition, and tried to frame it in a positive light, and but this was summarily ignored by the King.
He took us to see where the airships were having their hulls laid down. Tygrys was using the drydocks of the city to lay down the hulls and had the perimeter of the docks shut down and boarded up, with any onlookers or infiltrators being “done away with”. The airships were being worked on by the dwarves, while alchemists and artificers had workshops nearby that were working on different parts and sub-systems. A total of 10 airships were being built, in 2 fleets of 5, each having a flagship, 3 destroyers, and a support ship. King Tygrys would be leading the first fleet, and Tisiphone would be leading the second fleet, from the flagship she had been promised back when she presented the plans to the king.
King Tygrys, most worryingly, began to talk about how this would be a new face to his army’s force projection, and how Bostadt would no longer stop his ships, and he could take on the Eastern Kingdom after he’d ground Pragia into the dirt. A round or two of nervous laughter later, and we were informed that the ships would take about 2 months to get finished. So we had some nice down time, which everyone wanted a bit of after the whole crystal debacle.
On their time off Valka went and got an outfit befitting of a “Master Alchemist”, a title given to him by Tisiphone after he wheedled her for a position more prestigious than “ensign” or “cabin boy”. He commissioned a seamstress to put his outfit together, and then went to show it off to Prince Hekhata, and they spent the evening enjoying a nice wine (Valka had a hard time walking the next day). With a good amount of gold in hand, and Tisi’s know how, Kii and Tisi finally made good on their promise to give Roland, Kii’s younger brother and the exiled would be king of Velakor, replacements for his lost limbs, letting him be lame no more thanks to a clockwork arm and leg. It was really wonderful to see Roland not limping around anymore, and Jodd and Kii were elated and crying tears of joy at the installation’s end.
Finally, Tisiphone bought a pair of adamantine rings and proposed to Vera, asking him to make her the happiest bounty hunter in all the world. (she bought adamantine so that their bond would last forever)

U n d e r n e a t h   (part II)
It was as if the night was unable to reach the ground. The light of life itself was beaming from tress and lush water lilies in the Evermorn Springs. Translucent golden haze was floating gently in the air and she was following its regular movements.
Caminhanti then looked around and found herself surrounded by the earthen elementals. She tried to reach for them, only to feel the rocks crumble in her hands. Black dust was rising from her palms.
The earth underneath her started to tremble and crack. A sudden gush hit her and engulfed her in water. She gasped, trying to catch her breath and opened her eyes.
The dark, star-spangled sky stretched above, and she got a glimpse of it through the window. The sound of late evening chores in The Arboretum reached her only after a few moments.
“Everything all right?” Jenova asked as she put a fruit basket on the floor. She had just entered the room and noticed Caminhanti lying down with her eyes open.
“Yes, thank you,” Caminhanti answered and got up quickly. “I must have fallen asleep.”
“You sure did,” Jenova replied. “There is a note waiting for you," she tilted her head towards the table next to the door while adjusting the content of the basket. "Our Grummle friend came by just before the sunset and left it for you. They sensed your dream and said not to wake you up.”
Caminhanti hastened to the table, open the scroll and traced her fingers over the last letter of the note.
“Fotinea,” she whispered and smiled at the note. “I’m ok, sister. Don’t worry. I will see you soon. F.”
She recognized the haste the words had been written with, and the decisive handwriting of her younger sister. She turned to Jenova and said: “I will be leaving soon.”
Jenova hummed and nodded at Caminhanti. “Give her a big hug when you see her,” the Serpent Master got up and placed her hand on Caminhanti’s shoulder.
“I will,” she smiled and took the empty basket Jenova was holding. “Let me do the rest of tonight’s chores and finish what I’ve started here.”

I prodotti make-up indispensabili.
Cosa vorrei trovare in profumeria.

Pathfinder Update
Our session was kinda late last night so by the time it ended I was rather tired, sorry about the delay. Story’s under the cut as usual.
So we had the crystals from the magma forge now, but Miss Kii wanted to help out Hara and Mara Goremore. Tisiphone was mostly against it, but she still intended to follow Kii, as she had promised. Nik was amicable about helping out the Goremore twins, and Valka was getting dragged along, regardless of what he wanted (the usual image of a cat resisting being on a leash but still being dragged along is accurate enough of a visual metaphor).
The plan to help the girls save their parents was to send Hara, and the rest of the other adventurers (Jorgagu, Bel, and Longeye) along with the crystals, and then follow them and attack those ransoming the twin’s parents once we get to their lair. Obviously, this puts an enormous amount of trust in Hara and Mara and the others, and Tisi was very wary of that, but the core conceit of this plan was for Mara to stay with us as insurance and keep in touch with Hara via twin necklaces of telepathy that the twins had, so she could report to us where exactly they were going.
So we waited for Hara, and the crystal’s, “friends” to show up in an “iron fish”. In the mean time everyone was conversing and biding our time. Mara, who really is a sweet girl, even if Tisiphone just inherently doesn’t like her, was talking about cooking with Nik, and Valka went to go talk with Bel. Bel warned off Valka, saying that the iron fish would be here soon. Valka tried to clear the air about his grovelling during the fight, but to no avail, as everyone expected Valka to generally turn tail and flee, and thus had a hard time believing him. Feeling rather put upon, and not happy with the current plan Valka flippantly called the twins “lesbians” (Tisi yelled at him to keep a civil tongue in his head), and Hara retorted that the catfolk was just a “little gay boy”.
Valka was flustered at the ultimately truthful diagnosis, and tried to put up a defense to this assertion. Mara, asked Kii, Nik, and Tisi if he was “in the closet”. Kii and Nik were unfamiliar with the turn of phrase, while Tisi said “That boy couldn’t find hisself out of a paper bag, much less a closet”. Valka sulked the whole time until the iron fish came and took Hara and the other adventurers away.
The iron fish was some sort of underwater boat, as far as the party could reckon, and it indeed did swim beneath the waves. It emerged, took on the cargo and people, and sank back beneath the waves, off to wherever it was. Mara, Valka, Nik, Kii, and Tisiphone then went onto the boat (Kii and Mara flew onto it, leaving the rest to use a landing craft...) that had gotten us here, and we followed the submersible nautical vehicle (or “subnautica” for short) back down the river, taking a separate fork downstream from the one that headed to Tygrys City.
Along the way Valka sought out Tisiphone, finding her by the gunnery section, admiring the cannons. Valka asked if ti was “really that obvious” that he fancied men, and Tisiphone brought up his tendency to sleep around (literally sleep over at other people’s houses, as he was a cheapskate, not actually having coitus with tme), and Valka made the point that those people were just marks, and he had even taken up with female marks. Tisi told him that if he wanted to have others not know about it some discretion was in order. Valka asked if she meant like how her and Vera were, causing Tisiphone (and me) to do a spit take from the water she was drinking.
Tisiphone, now on the defense, said that her relationship with Vera was HER business, and no one else’s. No to be perturbed by Tisi’s usual defensiveness Valka went on to ask how long they’d been together anyways. She explained that the two of them had been together for some time now, almost 25 years at this point. Valka was surprised, and Tisiphone did not like at all that Valka then asked her about Vera’s general elven immortality and her own, very real mortality. She didn’t like to think about it much, and tried to avoid the topic. Tisiphone reckoned, though, that she ought to be getting married sometime soon, and probably should have done it some time ago. Valka, of course, invited himself to the hypothetical wedding as best man. She said she’d think about it, if they made it through this whole war to free Velakor deal. The ultimate sticking point for Tisiphone and Vera was that she was never ready to settle down, and he had infinite elven patience.
Before their little conversation about relationships was over Tisiphone gave some serious advice to Vera: he oughta sort out what exactly his business with Prince Hekhata was. As she saw it, it wasn’t good to mix business with pleasure as much as they were, and said that her and Vera stayed in their own lanes in that regard as much as they could. Tisiphone’s life advice, as ever, was coloured by her own unique perspective on the world, and her general, overly-professional bounty hunter side was talking. Valka said that he would think on it some.
After a bit less than a full day’s voyage Mara said that the iron fish had reached an underwater, obviously constructed, rather than natural, tunnel, and they were taking it Northward (the river flowed West to East, and the fork we had gone down was Northeastward). And so we disembarked off the boat and headed to the nearest settlement, a fairly large city named “Ichorglen”.
We walked for most of a day, through much farmland, and soon came to a set of stone buildings, near a cemetery. After poking around the lot of our characters spoke with a very strange man, who warned us that nightfall was coming soon. Having said that he began to gruesomely metamorphose as the sun was setting on the horizon. Tisi had seen more than enough things before and killed him were he stood. Night was falling rapidly, and looking out at the forest beyond they could see a number of glowing eyes out in the forest, watching them. Tisiphone fired off a flare shot into the forest depths, discovering that the eyes belonged to human-shaped things that were certainly not human.
With the blood still fresh on the stone walls of the domicile building (opposite an ornate mausoleum) she ordered the lot of them inside and got about to setting up some barricades. The one side room seemed like a bedroom, with a puddle of bubbling, seemingly alive, blood on the floor. Tisiphone took one look at it and subsequently blasted it with a round of dragon’s breath (incendiary) shot.
The group set up to wait out the night. Tisi got out her lantern and sleeping roll, Valka took out his alchemy kit, Kii read her spell book, Mara set “wards”, and Nik milled about with Abe. After some time, the scratching started.
The scratching at the doors (one to the West and one to the South) began, slowly escalating to knocking. Tisiphone took a moment to size up where some of the knocking was coming from and took a shot at what she guessed was the center of mass of one of the things and let loose. The door splintered, an inhuman wail went up, and acidic blood splashed against the door, melting through a piece of it and the barricade. The inhuman assailant was wearing armour, and armed, it’s face may have once been a human, but it certainly was no longer. The knocking now advanced to outright blows against the doors and barricades.
Tisiphone was now excited, and mildly content. This was just like the Southerlands!
Soon the creatures made their way through the doors and were charging at us, with Kii and Nik fending them off at the front, with Tisi and Valka slinging bullets and bombs from behind. Mara, for her part, stayed invisible and detonated her “wards”, which were much more akin to magical claymore mines than any sort of ward. The vampires, ghouls, or whatever the hell they were most certainly had acidic blood, but between Tisi and Valka’s attacks, and Abe’s (he pushed one onto a splintered chair leg!!!), we were able to not have our weapons and armour quite melted. Tisiphone actually got off quite a bit of shots in the fight, dumping a magazine of her lever action into one, then finishing off 3 of the undead with her revolver.
When the smoke cleared the things were dead, our barricades were mostly melted, and dawn was not near. We settled in for the rest of the night. Mara set up barriers of whirling blades at the entrances to “discourage” anything from coming in. This didn’t stop zombies and ghouls of the vampire (there must have been more out there) from coming in, but they were quite summarily reduced to ribbons and chunks. Mara, bless her, held up the barriers until dawn, and subsequently collapsed. Valka came out of the bedroom he had barricaded himself in, and Tisiphone made a big pot of coffee.
Before she fell asleep Mara told us about the count of Ichorglen, and how she’d heard that he was going to trade the crystals to some Southern country (we surmised it was almost definitely Pragia) to secure his county’s safety from them. Nik carried Mara for the rest of the way through the forest to Ichorglen, and with great weariness we carried on to the city. Maybe Mara wasn’t so bad, even if she did use magic so flippantly.
