#kingdom hearts #kh1 #hollow bastion #scenery #my gif #creating this set helped me truly appreciate just how detailed this world is #i mean i always knew it was beautiful but i never actually slowed down long enough to REALLY look at it #seriously every single room is so varied and intricately designed it's so impressive #it was difficult to select only eight locations to showcase because this place is huge and each area is so memorable in its own way #i technically used two shots from the lift stops but c'mon i wasn't going to leave out those giant stained glass windows are you kidding me #they look amazing but can be easily missed since they're so high up #this world is so dark and moody with its elaborate architecture despite its soft peach toned skybox that's surprisingly calming to look at #she has the range

shout out to that time I was asking my mother (a former er nurse) how a superficial gunshot would would be handled by emergency responders and she gave me detailed play by play and what to do in that situation bc my speech impediment and her understanding of me as a person made her think I was asking because of a Riding (horse) situation and not a Writing (monster hunter) situation.

#anyways the answer is its not an emts problem if youve got someone there who can drive you to the uc/er #(the injury in question was a shot at short range through the thigh. as long as it wasnt bleeding in a 'knicked the femoral artery' way #you're completely fine. it just needs to be cleaned and stitched up)

It's been A Day™️

Started bright and early and walked a 5k with a friend.

Took the kitties to a vet clinic for their first round of shots. They did well for babies getting their blood drawn and a round of shots. I should get results from their leukemia test by the end of the week.

Immediately after the vet clinic, we went to family for a special dinner. Hubs cooked steaks (which were fantastic).

Came home to find that the chickens had ripped apart the garlic patch. Sudden emergency harvest! I now have it all in a room with a fan on it.

Mm wish Helldivers had individual weapons stats because I just want to see how many kills I've gotten on the bots with the break action. Think I'm the only person who's used it as much as I have.

#and yes I know Randy weaver was not in the right #but neither was the entirety of the us government killing most of his family over a land dispute #I also wish to stress i am all for taking away the guns of American citizens #And ruby ridge has not radicalised me into a right wing asshole #but it still makes me angry #you know maybe this would have ended better if (get this) neither the clearly unhinged federal agents or the random civilians had had guns #god I hate peolke who hear about this and suddenly go “oh if they had just let Randy weaver keep his fucking illegal weapon it would’ve-#-been fine.” Just Christ. speaking of new weapon types in splatoon i REALLY want a splatana shaped like a scythe and if we ever get it i would one trick it

#hoo hoo!#splatoon #i have a name for it too! splatana reaper. pretty simple but it works and fits with how the other two are named #i also have concepts for how it would work #the primary fire would be ever so slightly slower than stamper but the shots go a Very long distance and are very wide #theyre more a curved oval than circle and i imagine the paint with about the size of the carbon's rolling paint #the charged shot is slow to charge but it has a longer 1shot range. the projectile is pretty thin but it goes a Very long distance #charged shot as per other splatanas does more damage than the primary fire but both are still 2 hits to kill due to the fire rate #so maybe like 55 dmg primary and 70 dmg charged? somewhere in that ballpark #for its first kit i think i'd want big bubbler annnnd... idk what sub tbh #i wanna say burst bomb but that could make it Very annoying to play against but againnits fire rate is slow (think tent or ranged)#fuck it. burst bomb big bubbler

I keep seeing those "character without trauma" depictions and they seem like fun but I can't really picture it for most of The Faves... I guess Arakawa would've stayed an actor and Mine would've stayed at his company (or who knows, maybe he would've pursued baseball instead to begin with), but other than that I'm coming up blank...

I don't like the eternal return 1.0 announcements - I usually play solo + duo. I appreciate that they're very transparent about everything though! It sucks they kept the game in early access for too long and do not have the money to support it - it's always been in a weird place trying to keep a battlepass on early access...

Still im like rolling around reading the dev journals on how much they're going to have to rush to make a bunch of characters work in squads. Also worried about the playerbase in NA since mostly people played solo :,( I'll have to see how i feel about changes to characters I play more often. Still I enjoyed the game for being able to play something pretty high energy and engaging with moba controls without having to deal with a team screaming or complaining the whole match instead of playing.

they said it themselves in the journals too - there's a lot of changes to core systems all happening in a really short time so I'll just have to see where it lands.
