Will you upload the kajifes songs in mp3? I always check your posts with that hope 😢😅
Hi there!
I have plans of making/uploading HQ rips of both BDs. Not only do the BDs contain a few more songs, I'm also hopeful that the audio/video quality will be better than the TV broadcast.
Unfortunately, I haven't received my package yet. People seem to underestimate how long it actually takes for things to get to me. Even with fast shipping options, the Austrian customs/import procedures significantly delay every single order. On top of that, I usually don't go for the high-end shipping option because I order and receive so much stuff from Japan that I'm simply not willing to spend a fortune on every little item. It's bad enough that I have to pay import taxes ranging from €10-€30 for every freaking package so I refuse to fork out €60 or more for faster shipping.
As for MP3s, we'll see how much time I'll have to work on that. Ripping/encoding/uploading the video files will take forever so it really depends on how busy I am once the package arrives.
On a related side note: I haven't looked into it yet but maybe there are already people providing all of this. YK is very popular these days so chances are high that other fans have taken it upon themselves to upload recordings/MP3s. If I were you, I would be checking out the dedicated cpm threads to see if they've got what you are looking for.
🚨Update🚨
Great news, everyone! Thanks to a kind and generous follower (@ama-m3), we now have MP3s/FLACs for Yuki Kajiura Live Vol.#19 Kaji Fes.2023 Day 1 and Day 2🥳 I have updated my "Yuki Kajiura/FJ LIVES HQ" Masterpost with a link to a new Google Drive folder for Kaji Fes. 23. As of right now, the folder only contains audio files but once I have received my package, I will be adding the video files as well. Please enjoy! And once again, a HUGE thank you to @ama-m3 for sharing these audios with us🙏

AtLA Book Water Soundtrack Review
You all know how we've wanted this soundtrack for years and suffered through such explanations as 'the original sound files probably don't exist anymore.' Thankfully, Avatar Studios has seen fit to re-record the music of the first season with a full orchestra, as part of what I assume is a media blitz meant to build hype for the live action Netflix remake. But we all know that remakes, even in music, often don't live up to the original. So, how did it turn out?
(Er, the soundtrack, I mean. The Netflix thing hasn't been released yet.)
With a sigh of relief, I can report: It's great!
Thankfully, the sample track didn't turn out to be indicative of the entire album. The composition of everything else is pretty faithful to the original versions, as far as I could tell. In fact, the overall sound is pretty close to my memories of the original music, despite the use of a full orchestra to record this version- with the exception of the drums, which in the HiDef sound files I downloaded sound fantastic and successfully make my floor and walls shake. (I make no guarantees about what you get if you listen to streaming, mp3 files, or the vinyl disks. This is why I pay a premium for FLAC files or CDs.) I loved turning up the volume and getting blasted by the classic Avatar theme in glorious orchestral quality.
Plus, some tracks are vastly improved by these recordings, while also being true to the original. The best example is the Northern Water Tribe entrance music, which I always thought sounded a bit chintzy and repetitive in the original track (but I admit my opinion might be colored by the poor quality of the recordings we have access to). The new version has a much fuller sound and enough variation to justify the length. I suspect this might come down to which of the original tracks used real instruments and which had to rely more on synthesized sound.
I suspect, though, that the vocals on this album are all the originals, and that's why the Koizilla music makes the chorus less prominent; it probably couldn't be mixed together with the new orchestra without sounding bad. In most cases, that's not a problem, but I do mourn that the Kozilla music doesn't sound quite right. But, on the other hand, Mako's singing has never sounded better.
The album has all the music I'd expect of a soundtrack for Book Water. The Fire Nation, Kyoshi Island, and Jet all get good suites that showcase their themes and music, something that just doesn't exist anywhere in the original recordings. The famous stuff -- the opening theme, the Avatar State, the 'into the sunset' peaceful music, the Agni Kai, Aang's antics, the full "Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall" tune in both full instrumental form and with Mako's singing, and of course the ending credits -- is all here. The season finale is heavily represented, but that's appropriate as those episodes got a lot of new music and all of it is great. And if you've only been able to content yourself with the fan-made soundtracks we've had to piece together over the the years via promotional releases and episode rips, there's some good stuff here that you might never have heard by itself before, like the fun bit of music for June.
And because I'm compelled to nitpick, I'm a bit annoyed by the order of the tracks. I like to listen to soundtracks in chronological order, and while that kind of thing isn't really feasible with something as long and repetitive as a television series season, this album does a serviceable approximation with its order- except for two weird cases. The Blue Spirit introduction comes after the music for his escape with Aang, and the music for the encounter with Koh comes after the music for Aang's arrival in the Spirit World. I assume this is because it makes for a better hi/lo/fast/slow sequence as part of the overall, but I would have preferred the order of their presentation in the cartoon.
So, in conclusion, this is the soundtrack we've wanted all these years, and everyone should stream or buy it or at least pirate it in enough numbers to raise eyebrows. I want the other two books done this way, and I think we as a fandom deserve it, despite some of the fanfic I've seen you people write. ;)

SIGYN’S TOP 5 ALBUMS OF 2024: #5 - Queen I - the 2024 remaster
The 2024 remaster of Queen’s self-titled debut album, here renamed from just “Queen” to “Queen I” to acknowledge the existence of follow up album Queen II, sits at the bottom of my list exclusively by virtue of being a remaster/re-release and not an all new album. The original master of Queen I is plagued horribly by production and audio quality best charitably described as Crunchy, in a way no lossless vinyl transfer FLAC can remedy. While I don’t always find remasters to be especially useful when they’re of recent-ish albums which sounded fine to begin with, if there was ever an album that needed a proper modern remaster to clean it up it’s this one. Unlike some remasters the audio quality difference here is IMMEDIATELY noticeable especially on some of the crunchiest original tracks - “Liar” probably comes out the best here, basically sounding like you’re finally hearing it the way it was actually meant to be heard. In addition to finally uncrunching the original masters Queen I bundles a whole bunch of bonus content, mostly demos, alternate takes and parts of the Live At The Rainbow live album. These are interesting enough if you like Queen enough to be interested in the minute variances and different expressive takes of the songs, but beyond the cleaned up original masters the best thing here are the backing track development & demo tracks, most of which include some - or a lot - of ancillary spoken vocal, spoken timings, commentary on the recording process, or just adorable artistic frustration. The absolute best thing here is My Fairy King (Trident Backing Track In Development) which is a 6-minute audio recording of Freddie & the guys trying to lay down the backing track for My Fairy King and growing increasingly, adorably frustrated trying to master the song’s light speed piano intro. Freddie talks and complains and curses, all with warm laugher in his sweet voice, always so high and gentle. The assorted legendaria of Queen has always been that outside of his larger than life crowd-mastering stage personas Freddie was actually an incredibly quiet, sweet, gently mannered person, it’s so abundantly clear here. Being a metaphorical fly on the wall to the unspeakably intimate, casual moments as the greatest band in history play, talk, and tune their instruments is so overwhelming that playing this for the first time had me sobbing in my car, imagining a world where Freddie is still here with us. Because make no mistake - this is the greatest band in history, and that’s an opinion I will take no rebuttals on. The Beatles can have spot number 2. Without Queen there would be almost none of what I love so much that came after, across so many genres. I can think of few bands or artists I love that don’t have at least a little bit to owe to Queen, from Rhapsody of Fire and Trans Siberian Orchestra to a particular well loved emo rock quartet whose legacy, aesthetic, and general thing is so tightly intertwined with Queen’s that they’ve been being mentioned in the same breath for as long as the latter existed; you can almost map the members’ personalities onto each other 1-for-1. Because it’s important to remember that the early 2000s emo-rock explosion, and most especially the hyper-theatrical trinity at its center, are the inheritors of this legacy. Without Queen, there is no Panic at the Disco (a fact which becomes painfully obvious listening to some of shameless hollow retreads on Viva Las Vengence), there is no Fall Out Boy, and without Freddie, Brian, Roger and John, there is very certainly no Frank, Mikey, Ray and Gerard.
There are times where the foundational and codifying texts of a genre become somewhat comparatively boring over time, easy to appreciate and respect for their importance but feeling sort of primitive and uninteresting compared to the dozens of things which evolved and expanded improved on their work in the years or decades after. This is very much not so with Queen. Queen are, I think, one of those bands who somehow remain under-appreciated despite being one of the most famous and loved bands of all time, I think there are few people alive on earth who don’t know Bohemian Rhapsody by heart but far fewer who’ve dug into the deep cuts on things like Hot Space and Jazz. If you’ve ever liked Queen at all, at any point, go pull the Queen I remaster up and give it a listen - it will remind you, if you ever forgot, why Queen are in fact the band of all time.

Prairiewolf - Lagniappe Session (Deluxe Edition)
A couple months back, I let y'all know about Prairiewolf's Lagniappe Session over on Aquarium Drunkard, featuring covers of Yo La Tengo and Eddie Harris/Melvin Jackson. Now, that session is available as a pay-what-you-want download on the Bandcamp. Lossless, if you're a FLAC freak. But wait, there's more! If you're a true sicko, we've added the 34-minute unedited version of "Silver Cycles." Deluxe! We thought we'd post this one today, the first day of Hanukkah, because of that Yo La Tengo synergy.
It's been a fun year for Prairiewolf. We sold out of two vinyl pressings of our debut (CDs are still available, dudes!); we played a lot of shows, each one of them radically different from the next; we hung out with a lot of cool Colorado music lovers and musicians; we even got started on LP #2! Thanks to everyone who bought a record, shared a bill, set up a show, ran sound, listened ... you are the real heroes.
We even got some press. Always fun to see how people respond to that crazy Prairiewolf sound! Here's a smattering of semi-raves.
Raven Sings The Blues: The album’s most appealing endeavor is the erosion of barriers between the slow motion tessellations of spiritual jazz and the pastoral hues of Kosmiche.
The Slow Music Movement: Sounds like it was recorded in a Hawaiian beach bar & someone seems to have slipped a tab into the easy listening communal water supply.
Mojo: Faintly psychedelicised tiki bar easy listening.
Petal Motel: The entire record is monumental, heady and meditative and rambling yet intentional. More hook and less wook – although there’s truly something for everyone here whether you’re into spiritual jazz, electronic ambient, kosmiche jam, and beyond.
M. Sage: Spaghetti prairie jams for astral ranch hands.
The Boulder Weekly: A vibe-forward feast of texture and rhythm taking listeners on a laid-back journey to the far reaches of the universe.
Tablet: Will it sound a little like elevator music to some? Sure. But this is an elevator you could live inside.
Aquarium Drunkard: Listen and you’ll hear it…the howl of the Prairiewolf. On their self-titled debut, guitarist Stefan Beck (Golden Brown), keyboardist and synthesist Jeremy Erwin (The Heat Warps), and bassist Tyler Wilcox (who Aquarium Drunkard and Doom and Gloom from the Tomb readers know well) explore kosmische drifts, nocturnal guitar tangles, and expressively jazzy passages.
Spectrum: Music for a chill-out tent inside a biosphere, retro sounds for an alternate future, an intriguing mélange of artificial and natural, machine and human.
The Long Play: Exotica/ blunted Americana wafts, insular space rock and mountain-side streams.

Behind the Charts: The Role of Physical Album Sales in Artist Success
In an age dominated by digital streaming and instant downloads, one might wonder why physical album charts still matter. Surprisingly, they continue to play a pivotal role in shaping an artist's career, providing tangible evidence of their popularity and creating meaningful connections with fans. This article delves into the enduring significance of physical album sales, how they relate to modern music promotion tools like Canvas Spotify, the intersection of physical and digital formats like digital audio file formats, the emotional appeal of music through music thought in English, and how fans show their support, including how to pay Spotify for their subscriptions.
The Enduring Legacy of Physical Albums
Physical albums, including CDs, vinyl records, and even cassette tapes, have long been the cornerstone of the music industry. While streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music have revolutionized how we consume music, physical albums offer something unique: a tangible connection to the artist. This is why the physical album chart remains a significant indicator of an artist's success, representing sales of physical copies and reflecting the dedication of their fanbase.
The appeal of owning a physical album lies in its collectible nature. Fans often treasure limited edition vinyl records, autographed CDs, or deluxe box sets. These items serve as a lasting memento, allowing listeners to hold a piece of their favorite artist's work in their hands—a stark contrast to the fleeting experience of streaming.
The Role of Physical Albums in a Digital World
Despite the dominance of streaming platforms, physical album sales continue to make headlines. For instance, vinyl records have seen a significant resurgence in the past decade, often topping physical album charts in markets around the globe. Interestingly, this trend coincides with the rise of digital platforms, proving that physical and digital formats can coexist rather than compete.
Tools like Canvas Spotify have bridged the gap between these two worlds. Spotify's Canvas feature allows artists to upload looping visuals that accompany their tracks, creating a dynamic and engaging experience for listeners. While this feature is primarily digital, it taps into the same emotional resonance that physical albums offer: a deeper, more immersive connection to the music. By using creative tools like Canvas Spotify, artists can complement their physical album releases, giving fans a multi-dimensional experience.
The Intersection of Physical and Digital Audio Formats
When discussing the importance of physical albums, it’s impossible to ignore the role of digital audio file formats. These formats, such as MP3, FLAC, and WAV, have become the backbone of modern music distribution. Artists often provide digital download codes with physical album purchases, blending the best of both worlds. This ensures that fans can enjoy high-quality audio on their devices while still owning a physical copy of the album.
Interestingly, the choice of digital audio file formats can also influence sales. For example, audiophiles often prefer lossless formats like FLAC, which preserve the nuances of the recording. Including these high-quality files as part of a physical album package can boost its appeal, further enhancing its position on physical album charts.
Music and Emotional Connection: A Thoughtful Reflection
Music has the power to evoke deep emotions, inspire creativity, and bring people together. This is beautifully encapsulated in music thought in English—quotes and reflections that highlight the profound impact of music on our lives. For instance, consider the timeless saying: “Music is the universal language of mankind.”
Physical albums often carry this emotional weight. From the carefully designed album art to the handwritten thank-you notes in the liner booklets, every detail is crafted to connect with the listener on a personal level. Similarly, digital tools like Canvas Spotify aim to capture this sentiment by providing artists with a platform to share their vision visually as well as musically.
Supporting Artists in the Digital Era
In the past, purchasing a physical album was the primary way fans could support their favorite artists. Today, fans have multiple options, including subscribing to streaming services like Spotify. Understanding how to pay Spotify is essential for those who want to contribute directly to the music ecosystem while enjoying unlimited access to their favorite tracks.
Spotify offers various payment methods, from credit cards and PayPal to gift cards and mobile billing. These options make it easier than ever for fans to show their support. Additionally, artists benefit from the revenue generated through streams and subscriptions, even as they continue to rely on the revenue from physical album sales to climb the physical album charts.
The Synergy Between Physical and Digital
Ultimately, the relationship between physical albums and digital platforms is one of synergy. While physical album charts highlight traditional sales, streaming platforms and tools like Canvas Spotify enable artists to reach a broader audience. Together, they create a comprehensive picture of an artist's impact and success.
For artists, balancing these two mediums is key. Offering limited-edition physical releases alongside engaging digital content ensures that they cater to all segments of their audience. For fans, this means enjoying the best of both worlds: the convenience of streaming and the sentimental value of owning a physical album.
Conclusion
The continued relevance of physical album charts in today’s digital-first world speaks to the timeless appeal of tangible music. By integrating innovative tools like Canvas Spotify, leveraging high-quality digital audio file formats, and celebrating the emotional connection captured in music thought in English, artists can thrive in both physical and digital spaces. Fans, too, play a crucial role, whether by purchasing physical albums or learning how to pay Spotify to support their favorite creators. Together, these elements ensure that music remains a powerful, enduring force in our lives.

When Will My Music Be Available? Understanding Deliver My Tune’s Release Schedule
As an independent artist or musician, understanding how long it will take for your music to appear on platforms is crucial for planning an effective release strategy. With Deliver My Tune, the distribution process is designed to be smooth and efficient, but there are still several factors that can influence the timeframe for your music to go live on major streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. This article will delve into these factors and help set realistic expectations for artists using Deliver My Tune for their distribution needs.
The General Flow of Music Distribution Before discussing specific timeframes, it’s important to understand the general flow of the music distribution process. Once you upload your track to Deliver My Tune, the platform verifies the submission to ensure that it meets the necessary technical and content guidelines. This involves checking that your audio files are in the correct format, that your metadata (such as artist name, song title, and album details) is accurate, and that any cover art complies with platform requirements.
After this verification, Deliver My Tune begins the process of submitting your track to various digital service providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and others. Each DSP has its own set of guidelines and timelines for publishing new releases, which adds variability to the time it takes for your music to appear.
Typical Timeframes for Major Platforms While the exact timeframes can vary, there are some general expectations for how long it takes for music to go live on popular platforms after submission through Deliver My Tune. Here’s a look at some of the most common platforms and their typical release times:
Spotify: On average, your music will appear on Spotify within 2 to 5 business days after being submitted through Deliver My Tune. Spotify is generally quick to process new releases, but factors such as weekends and public holidays can extend this timeline slightly.
Apple Music: Similar to Spotify, Apple Music usually takes 2 to 5 business days to publish new music. However, Apple’s review process may take longer for specific types of content or if there are issues with your submission, such as incorrect metadata or artwork.
Amazon Music: For Amazon Music, the release time is also generally between 2 and 7 business days. Amazon may experience delays during peak periods such as major holidays, but typically the platform is efficient in processing new submissions.
YouTube Music: This platform may take a little longer, ranging from 5 to 10 business days to make your music live. Given the popularity of YouTube, their review process can be more stringent, especially if there are visual components like cover art involved.
Factors That Can Affect Distribution Timeframes While the timeframes mentioned above are standard, several factors can affect how quickly your music becomes available on streaming platforms. These include:
Completeness and Accuracy of Metadata One of the most critical factors influencing how quickly your music is processed is the completeness and accuracy of your metadata. Metadata includes information such as song title, artist name, release date, and genre. Incorrect or incomplete metadata can cause delays, as Deliver My Tune and the DSPs will need to correct these issues before the music can go live.
File Format and Quality Deliver My Tune has specific requirements for audio file formats, typically requiring high-quality WAV or FLAC files. Submitting low-quality audio files or files in the wrong format will delay the process, as your submission may be flagged for quality issues.
Platform-Specific Requirements Each DSP has its own set of technical requirements and internal processes for reviewing new content. Some platforms may require additional time to ensure that your music meets their guidelines. For example, some platforms may need extra time to verify that cover art does not violate copyright or community guidelines.
Release Date Scheduling If you’ve scheduled your release for a future date, your music will not go live immediately, even if it has passed all verification processes. Deliver My Tune allows you to set specific release dates to coincide with promotional campaigns or other events. In this case, the platform will queue your music for publication on the specified date.
Time Zone Differences and Public Holidays Since Deliver My Tune distributes music to platforms across the globe, time zone differences can cause slight delays. Additionally, major public holidays such as Christmas or New Year’s can lead to extended review times, as many DSPs operate with reduced staff during these periods.
How to Ensure a Smooth Release with Deliver My Tune To avoid unnecessary delays and ensure your music is distributed as quickly as possible, there are several proactive steps you can take:
Double-check your metadata: Before submitting your music, ensure that all your metadata is accurate and complete. This will help avoid potential issues that could cause delays.
Submit high-quality files: Ensure that your audio files meet Deliver My Tune’s specifications in terms of format and quality.
Plan for potential delays: Even with everything in place, there can still be unforeseen delays, especially around peak periods. It’s always wise to schedule your release well in advance of important dates like album launches or tours.
Communicate with the platform: If you notice a delay or encounter any issues, Deliver My Tune provides support services to help resolve distribution problems. Reaching out early can prevent extended downtime.
Conclusion While Deliver My Tune works diligently to get your music on streaming platforms quickly, understanding the distribution process and the factors that influence timelines can help you better plan your release strategy. By ensuring your metadata is accurate, your files are high quality, and you’re aware of potential delays, you can set yourself up for a smooth and timely release. Always plan ahead and give yourself enough lead time to accommodate for any unexpected delays.

How Audio Quality Affects Listener Perception in Music
The quality of audio in music plays a significant role in how it is perceived by listeners. Whether it’s a live concert, a recorded track, or a streaming playlist, the way music is heard impacts how it makes the listener feel. Let’s dive into the various aspects of audio quality and why it matters so much to the overall experience.
1. The Importance of Clarity
One of the most important aspects of audio quality is clarity. In music, clarity refers to how well each instrument or sound can be heard. A muddy mix, where all the instruments blend into one another, will leave listeners feeling confused or even annoyed. In contrast, clear audio allows listeners to pick out every instrument, enhancing the emotional impact and enjoyment of the music.
For example, in a rock song, hearing the crispness of the drums, the clean strum of the guitar, and the punch of the bass makes the track engaging. Poor audio, on the other hand, makes it difficult to distinguish these sounds, diminishing the listener’s experience.
2. Dynamic Range and Emotional Impact
Dynamic range refers to the difference between the loudest and softest parts of a piece of music. Music with a wide dynamic range tends to feel more expressive and emotionally impactful. Think of a classical symphony that goes from soft, delicate notes to powerful crescendos. If the dynamic range is compressed, it can make the music feel flat and uninspiring.
A song with well-managed dynamics will hold the listener’s attention and evoke a stronger emotional response. High-quality audio maintains this range, while poor quality can crush it, leaving the music feeling lifeless.
3. How Distortion Affects Enjoyment
Distortion in audio isn’t always a good thing. While it can be used intentionally in certain genres like rock or metal for a specific effect, unintentional distortion often ruins the listening experience. Distorted sound is harsh on the ears, making the music unpleasant to listen to for long periods.
For instance, if you're listening to a live performance recording and the microphone levels are too high, the sound can become distorted. This leads to an unsatisfactory listening experience, making the audience feel disconnected from the music.
4. Stereo Imaging and Immersion
Stereo imaging refers to how sound is spread out across the left and right speakers. Good stereo imaging makes music sound more immersive, as if the listener is right there in the room with the musicians. If audio is poorly mixed, it can feel like all the sounds are coming from the same place, which makes the music less engaging.
In contrast, well-balanced audio with distinct stereo imaging allows listeners to hear sounds as if they are surrounding them, making the music feel more immersive and real.
5. Low-Quality Audio Formats
With the rise of digital streaming platforms, many people listen to music in compressed formats, such as MP3s. These formats sacrifice some of the sound quality to reduce file size, which can degrade the overall listening experience. High-fidelity formats, like FLAC or WAV, retain much more detail and offer a fuller, richer sound.
Listeners may not always consciously recognize these differences, but they often feel them. Music in lower quality formats tends to sound thinner and less exciting, while high-quality formats provide a deeper and more immersive experience.
6. The Role of Acoustics
Acoustics, or how sound behaves in a given space, also influences audio quality. Poor acoustics can make even the best-recorded music sound off. For example, playing music in a room with lots of hard surfaces may cause echoing or reverberation that muddies the sound. On the other hand, listening in a well-treated space, such as a music studio, can dramatically improve the clarity and richness of the audio.Audio quality has a profound impact on how listeners perceive and enjoy music. From clarity and dynamic range to stereo imaging and acoustics, every detail plays a role in shaping the listener's experience. To ensure you're delivering the best possible sound, investing in high-quality audio equipment is essential. Purchasing from a reputable shops like VIP PRO AUDIO guarantees that you’ll get reliable, top-tier gear designed to enhance your sound. With expert advice and professional-grade products, you can elevate your music, providing listeners with a rich and immersive audio experience they won’t forget.

Euthanasia will be my comfort song for every grievance in my life. Tomcat Disposables will always make me sad. The Main Character will always have me screaming its lyrics. Um, It's Kind of A Lot will always get stuck in my head. the list goes on. very special album to me.

How to Avoid Distribution Delays with Deliver My Tune
Releasing music is an exciting moment for any artist, but nothing dampens that excitement more than distribution delays. You’ve poured your heart and soul into your track, used Deliver My Tune to handle distribution, and now, you're waiting for your music to go live. But instead of being available on streaming platforms, it’s stuck in limbo. If your music is not showing up on a platform after being distributed through Deliver My Tune, it can be incredibly frustrating. However, the good news is that you can take steps to avoid these delays altogether. This article will explore key actions you can take to ensure your music gets to your listeners without unnecessary waiting.
Music distribution involves several stages, from ensuring your content meets platform guidelines to passing quality checks and verifying licenses. Understanding these stages is crucial for preventing delays, and by taking proactive measures, you can avoid the headaches that often come with music not appearing on platforms after distribution.
In the following sections, we will break down the best practices you should follow to avoid distribution delays, what to look out for, and how to resolve issues if they arise.
1. Plan for Release Dates Well in Advance
One of the most common reasons for delays in music distribution is last-minute submissions. Many artists underestimate how long it can take for platforms to process their music, leading to disappointment when the release doesn’t go live on time. To avoid this, always plan your release dates well in advance.
Deliver My Tune advises artists to upload their music at least 10-15 days before the desired release date. This gives ample time for the platform to process the music, handle quality checks, and resolve any metadata issues. Every platform, whether it's Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music, has a different timeline for reviewing new releases, so make sure to consider each platform’s processing time when planning your release.
2. Ensure All Files Meet Platform Requirements
Another frequent cause of delays is incorrect or incompatible file formats. Each music streaming platform has its own technical specifications regarding audio quality, file formats, and metadata standards. When distributing through Deliver My Tune, it’s essential to ensure your files meet the required standards of each platform.
For example, platforms like Spotify recommend lossless audio formats such as WAV or FLAC to maintain the best audio quality. If you submit a low-quality MP3 or a file that doesn’t match their technical requirements, it can cause delays. Additionally, each platform has specific metadata rules—make sure your artist name, album title, and song titles are correctly formatted, with no typographical errors or incorrect spellings.
By double-checking all files before submitting them through Deliver My Tune, you can avoid unnecessary rejections or delays.
3. Resolve Any Licensing or Royalties Issues Early
Music licensing is a crucial aspect of distribution that, if not handled properly, can cause significant delays. If you’re distributing cover songs, remixes, or tracks with multiple collaborators, you need to ensure that all rights and royalties are correctly managed before submitting your music to Deliver My Tune.
If you don’t have the necessary licenses for cover songs, or if royalty splits with your collaborators haven’t been finalized, your music can be pulled from streaming platforms or delayed indefinitely. Make sure all contracts are signed, all necessary licenses are acquired, and royalty agreements are in place well before you upload your music for distribution.
By handling these legalities early in the process, you minimize the risk of distribution delays and ensure that your music is ready to be released.
4. Monitor the Status of Your Distribution
Once you’ve uploaded your music and set your release date on Deliver My Tune, it’s essential to monitor the status of your distribution. Many distribution platforms provide dashboards where you can check the progress of your release. These dashboards typically display information on whether your music is still being processed or if it has been approved for distribution.
If you notice that your music is still listed as “pending” after a few days, reach out to Deliver My Tune’s support team. They can provide you with updates and help resolve any issues that might be causing a delay.
Additionally, platforms like Spotify or Apple Music may occasionally have technical problems that can cause delays on their end. Keeping an eye on the status of your distribution allows you to address any potential issues before your release date.
5. Verify the Accuracy of Your Metadata
Metadata is another key factor in determining whether your music is successfully distributed on time. When you distribute music through Deliver My Tune, you provide information such as song titles, album names, artist names, and genre tags. Incorrect or incomplete metadata can cause your release to be delayed or rejected by streaming platforms.
Ensure that your metadata is accurate, complete, and consistent with your previous releases. For example, if your artist name is spelled differently on your latest release, it may confuse platforms and prevent your music from being correctly listed. Consistency is key to avoiding delays.
It’s also important to ensure that any collaborators or featured artists are correctly listed in the metadata. Streaming platforms rely on accurate metadata to categorize and index your music, so double-checking this information before submission can save you from frustrating delays.
6. Communicate with Deliver My Tune and Platforms
If your music is not showing up on a platform after being distributed through Deliver My Tune, don’t hesitate to reach out to both Deliver My Tune’s support team and the platform in question. They can provide you with insights into what might be causing the delay and suggest steps to resolve it.
Make sure to keep track of any communication with support teams, as this can help you stay informed and avoid confusion down the line. Sometimes, delays are simply the result of platform-specific issues, and contacting the platform can expedite the process of getting your music live.
7. Optimize Your Release Strategy
Lastly, consider developing a strategic release plan that includes promotion and marketing efforts well in advance. A strategic release plan helps ensure that your music reaches the widest audience possible once it’s live. Coordinate your release schedule with social media campaigns, playlist pitching, and email newsletters to build anticipation for your release.
By aligning your promotional efforts with your distribution timeline, you increase your chances of having a successful release while minimizing the frustration of delays.
Conclusion
Delays in music distribution can be frustrating, but by planning ahead, ensuring files meet platform standards, and monitoring the distribution process, you can significantly reduce the risk of delays. When using Deliver My Tune, taking proactive steps such as verifying metadata, resolving licensing issues, and communicating with support teams will help you avoid unnecessary headaches.
If your music is not showing up on a platform after being distributed through Deliver My Tune, it’s often a sign that a simple error needs to be addressed. Don’t let delays hold you back—take the time to troubleshoot, and your music will be live in no time.

For continued support, once you return home, consider having a local ophthalmologist as your harbor master.
Embracing Cultural Tides
While many Indian hospitals have cast a wide net to accommodate international patients, including English-speaking staff, cultural differences can sometimes create unexpected currents. Be prepared to navigate these waters with flexibility and grace. Remember, seeking assistance when needed is always the right course of action.
Your Financial and Medical Compass
Before setting sail, check your financial compass by understanding your health insurance coverage for overseas medical procedures. Packing your complete medical history is like bringing a detailed map; it helps your Indian medical team chart the best course of treatment for you.

What is Plex Pass, anyway?
Hang around in cord-cutting circles long enough, and you’ll likely come across the Plex Pass subscription service.
Plex Pass can be a valuable asset if you run your own media server, but it can also be a source of confusion as Plex expands its own catalog of free streaming content. The software developer and service provider offers two distinct products—free streaming and personal media management—under a single banner. Let’s sort through the differences and clarify what a Plex Pass actually gets you.
This review is part of TechHive’s in-depth coverage of the best DVRs.
What is Plex?
First, a quick explainer on Plex itself.
These days, Plex is positioning itself as a source of free, ad-supported streaming content. Visit the Plex website or download Plex’s apps, and you can watch free movies, TV shows, and channels without even needing to log in.
Long before it branched into free streaming, Plex started out as a way to access your own media files across all your devices. If you have a big collection of MP3 music files or MP4 videos, for instance, Plex lets you store them on one device and stream them from anywhere you have internet access.
This element of the service is known as Plex Media Server. To use it, you must install Plex’s server software on the always-on desktop computer or compatible NAS (Network Attached Storage) box where all your files are stored. You can then download Plex’s companion apps on phones, tablets, computers, streaming boxes, smart TVs, and game consoles to access those files, either across your local Wi-Fi network or over the internet.
Plex has its own free content catalog, but you can also stream video and music files from your own personal media server.
Jared Newman / Foundry
Where does this media server content come from? That’s up to you, but it could include MP3 or FLAC file downloads; ripped CDs and DVDs; recordings from PlayOn, or (not that we condone this) straight-up video piracy via torrent sites. The moral and legal gray areas around some of this content helps explain why Plex has started emphasizing its own catalog of free, licensed programming, which doesn’t require Plex Media Server at all.
Even so, Plex continues to offer its server software to those who want to manage their own content catalogs. While Plex’s server software and most of its companion apps are free, certain media server features require a paid subscription. That’s where Plex Pass comes in.
What do you get with Plex Pass?
Being able to record broadcast TV shows using an over-the-air antenna is one of the big benefits of a Plex Pass subscription.
Jared Newman / Foundry
Plex Pass costs $5 per month, $40 per year, or $120 for a lifetime subscription, but the important thing to know is that it doesn’t provide any content. It is merely a set of extra features for media server users who plan to bring their own content to Plex.
For that use case, Plex Pass offers a handful of major benefits:
Mobile apps: Without a Plex Pass, accessing the content on your media server using an iPhone, iPad, or Android device requires a $5 in-app purchase. That purchase price is waived for Plex Pass holders. (There’s no charge to access your server on Plex’s other apps or from its website.)
OTA DVR: With a compatible TV tuner hooked up to your server, you can use an antenna to record over-the-air television broadcasts (don’t miss TechHive’s top picks in TV antennas). Plex can even detect commercial breaks and skip through them automatically. (You can stream live over-the-air broadcasts through the Plex app without a subscription, but you can’t record them.)
Plexamp: Alongside its regular apps, Plex offers a dedicated app for music playback called Plexamp, available for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux. You can use it with your personal music library or with a Tidal subscription. It’s excellent, but it requires a Plex Pass subscription.
Plexamp is a delightful app for accessing your personal music collection.
Jared Newman / Foundry
Video enhancements: For movies and shows on your media server, Plex Pass provides extra scenes, trailers, intro- and credit-skipping, and HDR-to-SDR tone mapping. (Keep in mind that you can always provide your own extra scenes and trailers if you have the requisite files.)
Music enhancements: For music files on your media server, Plex Pass can provide lyrics, intelligent cross-fades, volume leveling, and various “Sonic Analysis” features, such as the ability to create playlists based on mood.
Hardware-accelerated streaming and transcoding: If your media server device is powerful enough, Plex can tap its hardware to help with transcoding. This can make streaming run more smoothly, especially when lots of devices are playing video at the same time.
Plex Pass can fill in bonus content for movies and shows, even if you don’t have the files yourself.
Jared Newman / Foundry
Access controls: If you’re letting other people access your Plex server, a subscription lets you control which content they can see. You can invite users who have their own Plex accounts, sparing you from needing to create managed accounts for them. You can also use the Plex Dash app to easily monitor server activity from afar.
Assorted extras: Plex sometimes offers new features to Plex Pass users before rolling them out to everyone else. One example is the Discover Together feature that lets you share what you’re watching with others.
Is Plex Pass worth paying for?
If you’re just using Plex for its free catalog of ad-supported movies, shows, and channels, you don’t need Plex Pass. A subscription won’t get you any extra benefits or content beyond what’s available for free.
If you’re looking to set up a media server or an over-the-air DVR, on the other hand, Plex Pass might be worthwhile, but it’s not your only option. Here are a handful of other solutions to consider:
Channels DVR offers a more focused over-the-air DVR experience and can record from some additional sources beyond a TV antenna, though it’s pricier at $8 per month or $80 per year (there is no lifetime license on offer).
Jellyfin is a free, open-source media server solution. It’s far less polished than Plex—especially on the DVR front—but you can’t beat the price.
Emby is an alternative to Plex with similar media server features, though it requires its own subscription for the kinds of benefits you’d get with a Plex Pass.
You don’t necessarily need to run your own media server to record from a TV antenna. Check out our roundup of other over-the-air DVRs that are simpler to set up, including Tablo, AirTV, and TiVo.
You can always use Prism instead of Plexamp for a dedicated music experience on iOS, and Tautulli instead of Plex Dash to monitor server activity.
Compared to all these options, the big advantage with Plex Pass is that it pulls a wide variety of media server content into a single, polished app. It then combines that content with its own free streaming catalog, along with a nifty universal guide that helps you navigate other streaming sources. If your media consumption involves a big personal content collection, Plex is a compelling first stop.
One last word of advice: Plex occasionally offers discounts on lifetime Plex Passes; most notably around Black Friday, and sometimes during other popular sales events. If you’re not quite ready to jump into the media server fray, you can always wait for a sale before you commit.
