A few unholy head canons abt everyones fav depressed wizards:
1. Caleb Widowgast is deeply attracted to Essek’s long hair… for all the reasons you think.
2. Essek Thyless loves it when his man calls him pretty so he does his face even if he will be in disguise all day.
3. Beauregard has without a doubt walked in on Essek and Caleb in some very nsfw moments simply bc she has a key to Caleb’s home. It is more embarrassing for Essek than either of The Empire Siblings
4. Essek learns Zemnian, at first it is to fit in at the archives. Then he realizes just how much Caleb enjoys it.
5. Essek’s favorite part of his day is to drop his disguise after getting off work (the wizard equivalent of a bra)
6. Caleb helped Essek develop Seth.
