Not feeling valid because of religion

I know I’m not the only one, so I’m making a post about it. And also because I’m bored af

So, coming from an Islamic background, I know how much people give up for it and how hard they believe in it and how they make monuments (mosques) for it every 20km or so. And I feel so effing small because, I’m just here. With gods who are not worshiped at all in my country. I feel so small because, they have mosques, hardcore believers, emissions, prayer rugs, books everywhere, it’s in their culture, MY culture. And I just have a drawer for my deity. It makes me feel so invalide, like I don’t exist, like what I love and worship has no importance to anyone except me. Even if there are thousands of people out there who also worship them. I’m probably the only one in nine hundred km who does.

How many times did I dream of having friends who are also pagan ? How many times did I dream of making sacrifices and saying prayers with them ? A lot of times. But all for nothing. And seeing all the people around me talking about the same religion who traumatised me just makes my ears want to burst put and stop listening. For my eyes to loose their connection to my brain so I can’t see. For my fingers to burn so I can’t feel the touch of our holy book.
