#FINALLY FINISHED THIS WOHOO#Okay so#I have been keeping this small part of info secret for SOOOO long and it was so funny that JUST this week I got a ton of asks about#Wingdings' voice and I was SO tempted to talk about this little detail#BTW I DIDN'T FULLY MAKE THIS UP#i mean#Yeah I did#BUT IT IS BASED ON SOMETHING I NOTICED!!!!!!#When redacted talks in Wingdings the sound is clean#but when we listen to entry 17 (which is most likely a recording)#There's a VERY loud overlay of garbage noise#And so I was like#I could use this.........#like yeah a sound based on symbols?? we can't understand it! but our brains might do the work for us and maybe try to understand it?#but recording it goes very bad.....#I thought it was fun so I made it a hc for Gaster#and then I applied it here :D#lol#I think the pacing of this one is also a bit too fast but ehh#I hope it's clear#I am so proud of how I drew Alphys in these pages I feel like I am finally understanding her shape and how I want to stylize her#Sans is very good at reading people#He can tell when people are lying#that's why Wingdings didn't lie! he just conveniently forgot to tell him some details about what they found#okay yeah that's enough#TIME FOR THE TAGS#undertale#forgettable-au#forgettable-au-comic#sans

#We've had our yearly secret santa gifts exchange at my dorm and I've been gifted the first volume of Beast 😭😭😭😭😭#I'm crying forever. This december marks three years since I've watched the first b/sd episode#and yet this is the first time I actually own a b/sd manga volume. Like I own it and I can read it whenever I want!!! How cool is that!!!!!#Like there's so many Akutagawa images in it!!!! It's insane!!!!!!!! AND IT'S BEAST AT THAT#I'm deeply moved because I never spoke about it to virtually anyone here (at my dorm)?#Like I suppose a bunch of people vaguely know I like anime but only a couple of close friends know I like. Like-like reading manga lol.#And the person who gifted it DEFINITELY didn't know I like anime in general much less b/sd specifically much less Beast in particular!!!!!#I'm 100% sure (they just arrived this year and we hadn't even had that much occasions to talk to each other).#Which means they went through the trouble of gathering intel from my close friends about what I like and actually follow through‚#seek for the specific manga in a comic store etc... It's such a nice gesture I'm so heartwarmed.#And of course I'm glad for every gift I've received in the last years (genuinely)‚ but the fact that this was the most *specific* to what–#I like. It makes it so special! They were so kind.#There must be one (1) person in this whole 60 people dorm who knows I like Beast–#(that would be the girl who introduced b/sd to me in the first place) and the fact that they asked them for it...#I feel both very grateful and lucky lol#When I unwrapped it!!! Like I thought it was just a random book which would have been nice but like!!!!!#When I actually saw through the thin paper the cover!!!! The scream I screamed in my head#Anyways!!!! I own a b/sd manga now!!!!! I've only got time to go through the first chapter so far but it's suchhhh an experience.#It's like reading it for the first time again 😭😭😭 Half because the translation is so much different than the English one lol.#And I basically know the English version by heart. Half because I never saw this kind of high quality!!!!! It's!!!!! Insane!!!!! Like!!!!!!#I'm crying 😭😭😭 The drawings are so sharp and crisp (in the good way). The lines are so clean there's no disturbance at all#I literally never saw anything so good in my life I'm crying a little. I'm so so glad they blessed me with Beast specifically#The takebon edition is pretty cheap (it's just planet manga so there's no color illustrations or dust cover or anything unfortunatelly.#But to make up for it the volumes are significantly cheaper then let's say J-Pop)#There's also some unique typesetting choices? The text from the book-like boxes is in lowercase which is interesting!#Initially I thought I wouldn't have liked the translation (opening it randomly there was Akutagawa saying “crepa!” (“die!”) to Dazai in ch1#Which was kinda jarring since it's very low register and everyone knows Akutagawa has very complex speech patterns.)#But actually reading it I'm really enjoying the translation so far!!!!#There's so many choices that made me grasp details I actually missed all the times I've read the English translation.#That is to say! Very excited to read it!!!! Will probably make a review / translation commentary if I can find the time!!!!!

I want to yell about ynt's new chapter so much... but i don't want to spoil anything to anyone, so I'm yelling about it irl, where no one can hear me (except for, probably, my neighbours)
Anyway, i'm going to yell in the tags, so beware of spoilers or something
#okay it starts as a fun light-hearted comedy chapter about two pacifists who are kinda enemies#“it's fun to join a fandom” is a real quote from this chapter as well as “not allies not enemies but a third thing”#and i almost can see how the translator almost put “secret” there lol#cute anime dances are here too!#yomi no tsugai out of context: “i stan horses”#okay this part of the chapter is about the importance of feedback for artists and writers#okay this part of the chapter has a little bit of Asa's (and Gab's) background in Hikaru's background!#they finally officially proposed an alliance yay#“we have been hating each other's guts for decades if not centuries but our common enemy is much worse so let's unite” is such a good trope#yomi no tsugai

9) How does your OC handle their physical health? Do they take care of themselves?
Phosphora is an artist with ADHD, so ..... yeah. She'll work on a piece for hours without moving, and then someone tells her "hey it's training time" and Phora tries to stand up and nearly passes out. They have not learned from this and do it quite often. Also their posture is So Bad. She sleeps a pretty decent amount though, so that's something <3
Skye is a dancer, and she loves her body and loves dancing and taking care of herself!! Plus her mother is a healer, so between the two of them, she's in good physical health :)
10) How does your OC handle their mental health? Do they take care of themselves?
Eclipse is the absolute fucking king of repression. He's secretly scared of everything and he regularly tries to just ignore full on panic attacks. Someone get this idiot to therapy ASAP (I say, as the author, and continue to not send him to therapy. whoops)
Riptide actually does okay with their mental health, they gets lonely very quickly and has some other issues, but the others know this and rarely leave him by himself, and help however they can. He also writes and plays music, and writes stories and poetry, and those things help :) so all things considered, they're doing really good!
23) Is your OC reliable? Can I call them up at two in the morning if I have a flat tire?
Blaze is... not what I'd call reliable. If you woke her up in the middle of the night and asked for her help, she miiiiight help? But she's much more likely to tell you to fuck off :3
Earthquake is very reliable, he's very stable and grounded (GET IT????) and always down to help people, especially his friends! Be careful though, he's very likeable, and he might suddenly decide you're his friend and start hanging out with you :D

i'm always like good thing he didn't try to exit asap via swimming in ciao alberto But What If He Did lol. just swim Somewhere else along the coast, maybe panic about [money??] & whether somehow this ruins school for luca, whether he can get in touch w/o it being On Sight b/w him & all marcovaldos, consider just kind of trying out other places, traveling after all...fascinating considering the other povs on the issue like: now there's the paguros to sympathize w/a kid vanishing, luca however in a somewhat more novel position there, giulia's throwback to alberto being a bit perplexing lmao, kind of thinking the best massimo could do is have a prewritten letter for luca to give to alberto If Possible, conveying something like i know you didn't set my livelihood on fire on purpose but even if you did i'd want you to stay. and luca in a position to do all of "maybe give the island fun facts so someone can check if he's there" & "wait & hope alberto can/does get in touch" & "have a lot of feelings"....not even the context of what this drawing is about necessarily, just tacking it on here anyways. ahead of time i went "heh now i Know they're gonna have it get little Real here b/c it's really about alberto wanting the security of feeling he can 'earn' a sustained relationship" then the short cleared & i was lying completely dead on the pavement

I think Dirty Little Secrets is interesting so far. And I’m surprised I haven’t seen more about it. It feels different than PB’s usual in some ways
#choices dls#choices dirty little secrets#choices#choices stories you play#playchoices#yeah it seems like they’re still gonna lean heavily on smut#that’s no surprise#but at least the LI has a little allure to him#and we’re not fucking cheating for once 🙄#I’m sure the HOA bitch won’t be too different from their usual antagonists either#she def gives Vanessa from MoTY vibes#but I like the messiness of having a book centered around a neighborhood#I wanna know all the tea lol#and I want our neighbors gossiping about us and the LI#and obviously I’m especially intrigued by Sadie saying he killed his wife#the mystery aspect makes all of this even more interesting#so yeah overall we’ll see how PB handles it#hopefully they learned from the mistakes they made in MoTY with Vanessa and the PTA#and hopefully they don’t drop the ball on the mystery like they usually do#which is honestly very likely since they have a tendency to ignore plot in favor of smut 🤦🏽♀️#either way though I’m tentatively optimistic#choices app
