Is anyone else like, LEGIT bothered that most of the Loki smut floating out there tends to paint him a sexual deviant to a degree that’s almost predatory?

Even though in the bifrost incident Sigyn and Loki die together and die in love, they die for the people. Yes, they loved eachother, but that love did not come before the world or the resitance or freedom. The cause, life, was before them. 

And that’s incredible and I love how you can hear that when Sigyn realises Loki’s mind is lost. She doesn’t ask Loki if she’s still ther for *her* but for the resistance. She asks a lost mind where will she stand. And when she gets no answer, she leaves

Day 6: Rebellion - ever think abt how after loki "died" and fenrir was captured, Sigyn had to lead the rebellion on her own?? I do and it makes me lose it

Do I love Loki? Good question, sometimes I can’t stand the guy but I will always love him, he is my one and only, therefore there is no fixed amount on how much I love him. I would hold a bowl above him if powerful venom was to fall onto him.

Sigyn "Next time you hear me, my plan would have been better"

Loki "Since when do you have a plan"

Sylvie "I'll die surrounded by heads made of vacuums"

Loki / Sigyn "Hey!"

Sylvie "you are depressed"

Sigyn "Loki always drinks when he can't really cope with situations. That's why Sif christened him Trunken God and he then shaved off her entire hair while depressed."

Sigyn starts laughing loudly

Sylvie bored "I can visualize it"

Sigyn still shaking with laughter "That was one of his best pranks. Sif was so pissed off ha ha"

Loki "You forget ..."

Sigyn interrupts Loki "We won't talk about that"

Sylvie "But I want to talk about it"

Sigyn puts a finger on Sylvie's lips "No, you don't want that"

Sigyn "Why did you sing about me Loki"

Loki said nothing, just looks down on the floor, concerned

Sigyn "The plan is crap"

Sylvie "What other options do we have?"

Sigyn stomps away furiously and mumbles in her mother tongue, which is spoken on Vanaheim.

Loki "I heard that"

Sigyn turns annoyed to the two of them.

Sigyn "Before I forget that, yes, love can be like a dagger. But love is also unconditional and one of the greatest compromises one can make. Most of you will always see the curse as a curse in years, centuries or even decades . But love is not a curse, love in form is a gift! "

Loki starts Sigyn

Sigyn "So everyone decides for himself whether he rams the dagger of love into his own heart. Or if he's so stupid and rams the dagger into his heart from every outsider in order to be right in the game over, which does in the end out of love hate! "

Sigyn "Now need a double"

Loki stares at Sigyn

Sigyn "Dan can still have your Weltuntergsns party now. Or we'll just marry the three of us, would we have something poetic, right?"

Sigyn "That was a joke"

Loki and Sylvie stare at Sigyn. Sylvie just turns around and leaves.

Loki "Better leave the jokes to us"

Loki takes three steps towards Sigyn

Action open:

Synopsis A: Loki kisses Sigyn and then just leaves

Plot B: Sigyn "You don't want to kiss me seriously or" Loki "You are not my Sigyn and that becomes clearer the more I am annoyed by you" (which is not true)

Synopsis C: Sigyn pulls up his eyes and gives Loki a head-butt

Synopsis D: Loki / Sigyn "Who got us into this shit!"

How I Would Incorporate Sigyn into the Loki Series: Episode 3

Episode 2 -- Episode 4

Loki x Sigyn Masterlist

Summary: These are my on going rough notes on how I would incorporate my version of Sigyn into the Loki Series. I makes these notes as each episode airs so changes are bound to arise. Just thought it would be a fun experiment.

Final decision: Sigyn does go with Loki through the portal after Sylvie

During the fight before Sylvie does try to take over Sigyn's mind, but Sigyn is able to fight her off, effectively kicking her out of her head

Sigyn than goes after Sylvie with Loki, but once she realizes Sylvie doesn't' want to rule the TVA, Sigyn tries to get her to fight with them saying that she wants to help Sylvie in her plan

Sylvie doesn't trust this, obviously, and fighting ensues

Sigyn is more acting like a barrier between Loki and Sylvie, trying to make sure Loki doesn't kill Sylvie, Sylvie doesn't kill Loki, and that she doesn't get killed either; as a nice break on her part, neither seem interested in killing her, so that's something

Fight, fight, fight until they end up on the Lamentis-1

Sigyn ditches her heels part way through running as Loki takes her hand and pulls them both to safety

It is then clear the three of them have to work together to get off the planet

When the get the homestead, Sigyn sits back as both Sylvie and Loki are blasted into the dirt; she gets the first good laugh she's had in a while and even asks if she can borrow the gun

Making their way onto the train, Sigyn disguises herself as one of the rich guests being escorted onto the train (she tries her best not to roll her eyes and Loki's rather bare bones plan)

Once on the train, Sigyn leaves Loki and Sylvie for a time so the two of them get a chance to talk

Sylvie gets a chance to question Loki's relationship with Sigyn; Loki admits that he's not sure, he knows he can never go back to the Sigyn he knew from the original time line and while this Sigyn is similar, she's not exactly who he remembers, but then again he's not the same Loki she knows; all he does know is that he does feel the same around her he did when he first met her all those centuries ago

Loki then asks Sylvie is she has her own Sigyn to get back to; this is where I'm stuck

Either A) Sylvie is a variant of Loki, but she never met her Sigyn in which case, no B) Sylvie is a variant of Loki and she has, but it ended badly because Sigyn perpetually gets terrible endings with Loki, C) Sylvie is not a variant of Loki so her answer is vague AF

Sylvie eventually falls asleep and Loki joins Sigyn at the bar

Sigyn is expressing her frustration as she falls into an existential crisis by drinking; she hasn't had a solid drink in some time and it's getting to her now

She questions what she's doing there on a a dying planet being dragged along by a couple of Lokis who don't know what they're doing; she questions if that's her fate even if there are moments she doesn't mind it and can even enjoy herself

Loki for once just lets her talk deciding to drink with her until both of them are thoroughly plastered

Fun fact Sigyn is a very loving drunk and just thinks everyone is so beautiful

Sylvie is fairly alarmed Sigyn allowed herself to get drunk as well in front of Loki to which Sigyn responds by calling her absolutely lovely

Guards show up, fight ensues and Sylvie drags Sigyn off the train after Loki

Once they're out Sigyn quickly sobers up and is pissed; she had already pick pocketed one of the guest and had a ticket so she could had very easily stayed on the train if Sylvie had bothered to ask

She then stalks off ahead of them calling them both idiots destined to get her killed and demanding a ten foot radius at all times

Eventually she's able to calm down and Loki suggests taking the arc out of the system

The three of them get to talk and bond a bit on the way there, Sylvie even admiring Sigyn's own cunning (Loki gives Sylvie the eye that says "get your own Sigyn, back off")

They make it to the launch point and it's chaos from there

Sigyn makes a suggestion to save more people? her logic being if this ARC is destined to be destroyed than everybody dies, but if they not only get themselves but others to safety as well than the TVA is bond to show up with the tools they need to escape

Sigyn tries to pull people to some kind of safety, but Loki and Sylvie keep pulling her away, trying to keep her and themselves safe

The ARC is destroyed and the three of them are left stranded on a world doomed to die; Sigyn needs another drink

Some Possible Dialogue:

"I'd like a martini," Sigyn said, sounding as tired as she felt. "Gin, no olives, and lightly stirred while glancing at an unopened bottle of vermouth. And please, listen to me very carefully. Don't you dare leave that glass empty for more than five seconds at a time."

"Why did you pull me off the train?!" Sigyn snapped.

"They would have kicked you off anyway, at least I gave you a softer landing," Sylvie defended.

"No they wouldn't." Sigyn then produced three tickets from the air.

"Where did you get those?" Loki asked, amazed.

"I pick pocketed them, obliviously! You're telling me you didn't?"

Loki and Sylvie looked to each other awkwardly.

"Well...ah."

"You see I was..."

Sigyn lifted a hand, the universal signal to shut up. "I don't want to hear it. I swear to the Gods, I'm a better Loki than either of you combined. Do you honestly think I'd let myself get drunk if I wasn't sure I wouldn't need magic to get myself out of trouble?"

"You want a metaphor!" Sigyn snapped, stamping ahead. "Love is like drinking. It's nice in the moment and even fun, but eventually, inevitably either you wake up with a hang over that you just have to live with until it goes away or it kills you."

"How! Many! Realities! Do! You! Get! Me! Killed!" She shoved him on each word for emphasis letting the alcohol fuel her anger.

"Shame to let that go to waste," Loki said.

Sigyn didn't hesitate. Leaning down from her bar stool, she grabbed the pastry off the floor.

Sylvie look at her in horror. "Don't tell me you're going to eat that."

"Ten second rule," Sigyn said, with a shrug before plopping it in her mouth.

Sigyn glanced at her with a wry smile. "What, like you?"

"No, probably not like me. Why, are you offering?"

All the parallels between the bifrost incident and tma are insane,, the description of Odin "her one eye now vast and staring, as she who once styled herself the Allmother is transformed by the touch of the gods she had unknowingly served for so long" and her saying to Thor "killing me will not save your world" like,, not to get Jonah Magnus vibes but.

YEAH I KNOW. its fuckign wild dude. i would not be surprised if tma s5 ends largely the same way, the jonmartin / lokisigyn parallels are so much
