I WATCHED THE SPY X FAMILY MOVIE ON THE 20TH AND OMG IT WAS SOOOO GOOD I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!

To make a long story short without spoilers, it was a mix of seriousness and unseriousness, and I know a lot of people didn't like that, (which I can totally understand) but I think it fit well! I loved it!! Also Anya was just a ball of adorableness as always!! Just LOOK AT HER!!🥺

Also, you guys already KNOW when my pookie bear Franky Franklin came on screen, I was going INSANE XDD!! My brother literally said to me, "That's your bae!" Which made me laugh. I sound more normal about it than I actually was LMAO.

first: LOOK AT HER GOOOOO shes so pretty even as a delinquent :')

still, somehow, something about this struck me as odd bc yknow, i wasnt expecting to see a teen Miri this early on in the show, especially since kazuki and rei only declared their promise to take good care of miri like, last episode

and then i realized. that's exactly why. and for kazuki, that means forever.

not to bring up spy x family again, but iirc sxf to this point hasn't aged up anya once, even as a joke. loid and yor don't try to imagine a future anya bc they know their family is temporary

but kazuki? kazuki already imagines being miri's papa at least 10 years in the future. last episode's declaration to kyutaro bore fruit sooner than expected haha

for example, see this, where he imagines Little Miri marrying kyu-chan (/nsrs, in the trademark insane (/aff) way he jumps to conclusions)

and later, when he imagines miri and taiga dating, both as highschoolers

point is, kazuki can see a future after raising miri, and he'll still be her papa by then. and especially after ep5's half-wedding declaration, i'm just waiting for the day he realizes that he wants rei in that future too <3

(or maybe he's so sure of rei being in his life that at this point, he has no place in his delusions anymore, not when he's kazuki's one constant)

not trying to be rude at all, im a fan and a follower...but i didn't focus too much on yuri, just thought he was a background character, playing the same siscon role that almost every anime seems to have...sorry but can you give me a brief maybe? of your pov? cause most people seem to hate him

the central idea of yuri briar is that he's here just for comedic relief, and obviously, he's such a siscon and this and that, right?

and i don't blame people for thinking that in their minds, because of the way the animators and some of the writing board seem to set him up...

even endo, had said that, he just wanted yuri to be a sweet little brother people would adore, but the writers made him like this, and well, you know.

anyway, even with this personality, his character's backstory provides a lot of justification to his behavior,, like sure, at first he might seem like the comedic relief type of character, who's inappropriately in love with his sister, but actually, it's not like that at all...

in the anime, they've sort of butchered his character more,, from the changing of the lily bouquet for his sister to the rose one, and then obviously the little translation mistakes here and there.

now, let's just get to the point.

in the scene where yuri calls yor and talks about the party, he asks her if she wants him to introduce her to someone, and tbh he seems very genuine with it.

in the scene where he's meeting loid for the first time, he tells yor he can't just accept this marriage. which is so fair, because imagine your literal blood, someone you grew up with, the only person you've really ever known, gets married, and then doesn't tell you for an entire year. like, that's gotta make you upset and question things right?

i do agree, that his attachment and his admiration and obsession towards his sister is unhealthy, but hey, at least give him a second. understand his perspective right? he was just a boy, who lost both his parents to a war and grew up with his sister being the only one who went above and beyond to get him basic essentials.

and, obviously, you'd love your sibling if you were in this situation right?

so it's just that he's not really yet grasped how to normally love yor,, now this doesn't really mean that he loves her abnormally lol.

im sure that the writers will continue to develop his character as the manga continues. he's already developed a lot, and while the overly obsessed brother trope is quite funny and well-used, especially in this manga,, i still believe he has more of a personality then they show us.

and the only thing annoying is that people seem to judge him and then make posts about how he's just so creepy and weird,, which proves that they've obviously not paid enough attention to his character details to understand the reasons behind it yknow?

I already answered this (it's if you don't love me now because I find it hilarious to title a fuck or die/sex pollen fic that) but I'm also partial to lovelorn; love, worn because it rhymes. It kind of sounds more melancholy than the actual fic though, which is pure fluff.

10. What work was the quickest to write?

Ooh some of the short oneshots I really just wrote on my phone all in one go. I didn't time it, but it has to be either underbelly and blade or to have and to hold. Sometimes an idea just grips you and you gotta write it instead of sleeping, yknow?

toya - crow or maybe some other type of corvid, thanks to the imagery of walk on and on. ive already talked abt how much i love birds and especially crows/corvids for him bc those cards and also his untrained world link card killed me. she seems extremely similar to him in personality and is just as bad at showing emotion, but is very encouraging to him to try and improve

shizuku - ive always associated her with swans for reasons i dont know if i can explain? i kinda just always have. feels right for her yknow. idk if i have a solid idea of what his personality might be like, ill have to think abt that a lil more i think

link - i mean. he's a wolf. thats already the form he takes as a beast, its the form his soul would take too. i can see her being a voice of reason, a little bit more of a wary personality, almost similar in dynamic with him as lyra and pan

he xuan - i'm actually unsure what form his might have taken when he was alive, but i think ghosts probably don't have their daemons anymore, since they can't follow into the afterlife. maybe the remains of dust from when a daemon dissipates are somehow incorporated into the ashes, idk!! but hx definitely has a puppet of whatever ming yi's daemon was when hes in disguise (and i imagine only ghost kings can create completely convincing daemon puppets)

mu qing - his image animal is already a cat and i do think it suits him pretty well. she's just as prickly as he is though and if you make fun of her for having the form of just a little housecat you'll get yelled at by both of them <3

i'm driving myself crazy bc i know i used to have daemons for both of the field siblings figured out but i cant remember either of them. augh

So listen: from what I remember (I read the manga like two weeks ago and it was during exams time so my memory is fuzzy) Operation Strix is supposed to be a peaceful way for Loid to talk to Donovan and put an end to the war- obviously through negotiation.

Now I assume that means that they will not put Donovan in harms way (example, just killing him instead- obviously that would be stupid for so many reasons but they do want peace)

BUT

A thing Loid said at the end of this week’s episode just- it destroyed me

At one point in the end he said something along the lines of “anyway if it comes to it there are plenty of ways to kill Donovan secretly/without anyone finding out”

And like I guess that’s just the last resort plan bUT IMAGINE LIKE

An au where there’s angst (bc I love breaking my heart :D)

So imagine; even though Anya and Damian become close, for some reason or other, let’s say Donovan decided to speed up the war’s process- anyway the thing is the spy agency finds no other solution than to kill him.

Afterwards the Forger family does stay together, we can say Loid got attached and they find out about their secrets etc etc so they move away, get new identities and leave.

Damian suddenly comes home to find his father dead, and him and his brother being questioned by da police or smth.

I don’t remember how old Demetrius is so we’re going to skip over that part but anyhow

Damian finds out about his father and he’s obviously mad but for drama reasons (and something I can strangely see happening to him if it came to it) he does a complete 180°. He obviously wants to impress his father, I mean iirc he says he wants to be like him and stuff- and anyway since he’s so young he gets so angry by this that he decides to avenge him. Yup you heard that right (all soap opera drama in here lmao)

Anyway since he’s so young and he doesn’t really understand why what his father wanted was yknow, wrong, he gets raised in a really military-ish ambient. He drops out of Eden and also moves somewhere else. NOW I want more drama (when do I not lol) SO even though Damian’s brother is full on set to cause war and havoc again, all Damian wants is to destroy the people that killed him (AKA WISE, aka Loid) but he doesn’t really get in his brother’s way.

Since he’s the second son he doesn’t get full control of his fathers company- that’s Demetrius’ job- b u t he can still be second in command (hey maybe even be a part of the police Yuri’s a part of? Maybe??? I think Yuri worked for Donovan aNYWAY) so Damian becomes business man by day, and spy/police officer (?) by NIGHT. He mostly focused on stealing info tho, he’s not really the one you call for action packed missions but mostly for more tactical stay in the shadows and steal info kinda ones.

Now- let’s go back a bit and talk about Anya.

She moves away and both Loid and Yor find out about her powers, along with a few higher ups at the agency. Loid obviously doesn’t let them touch his precious daughter, so they decide to recruit Anya as a spy, since her abilities are obviously an added plus.

Anya grows up learning from Loid and Yor how to fight and how to be a spy. She’s more of a fighter though, and becomes pretty amazing combat wise. (You see where I’m getting at pft Ying Yang y’all)

A few years down the line the Desmond company has grown again, and they find out that the new heir is trying to start up war again.

Anya, having already formed part of Operation Strix gets called into Operation Strix 2.0 (or smth I’m not good with names)

Anya gets sent back to where she used to live before and starts working for the Desmond’s company and gets tasked with getting near to one of the sons to get information about the war. Her main task: kill the remaining Desmonds and stop war (since they weren’t able to gain peace, they realized they should destroy all the Desmond’s, since the whole thing can happen again so it’s better to just nip it the bud) idk if I used it right English isn’t my main language aNYWAY

Damian was working overseas, and Anya somehow managed to get in kahoots with his brother (she went high up on the ladder quickly and they’re “friends”), who unlike Donovan is out and about in the open, making him an easy target for Anya.

While she’s getting to know ya boi DUN DUNNNN

Damian appears!!!

Now keep in mind Damian has only heard rumors about Anya’s family so he doesn’t know Loid was the one behind his fathers death- but he knows she had something to do with it.

So he starts off with Anya on the wrong foot (they meet somewhere in the company where Damian explodes, he is not happy with Anya and Anya ain’t taking any shit from him)

Like he is legitimately mad at her now, since he feels betrayed and hurt and he wants to hold her so badly but nO she had something to do with his father.

NOW for more drama, Demetrius comes to him and tells him, hey Anya might actually be a spy, I want you to get as close to her as you can and uncover all the secrets so we can finally get ahead on the war.

So Demetrius (who doesn’t know they met before) presents them to each other and tries to get them together so Damian can yknow, find out things about WISE.

So now Damian and Anya both are put in a situation where even though they don’t like each other, they gotta get close to the other one to find out things about the other party- and obviously fall in love because YES.

Now the thing is I think both Damian and Demetrius will get some info from some spies that there is an esper working for WISE and Damian figures out it’s Anya, which is why he’s able to keep her in the dark.

Anyway obviously that’s all I have for now lol I came up with it on the spot but like? Isn’t it good and angsty lmaoo

I also want to add Becky since we know the Blackwells are associated with the Desmond’s so either she’s also a spy or like information worker (like Frankie) or she can just be a regular worker. But she’s a bit mad at Anya for leaving her alone all of a sudden but they do get back into friendship mode quickly!

Also I want both Loid and Yor to have a little thing because like: imagine it’s Anya’s first solo mission- she’s a good spy but she’s always worked with her father.

So both Loid and Yor are proud parents but worried parents, so unbeknownst to Anya they FOLLOW her to see how she’s doing- they would never interfere with her mission obviously (she’s made it clear she will be mad at them if they do) they’ll just uh- push her in the right directions sometimes.

I also just find it funny for them to try and hide from Anya while she’s working- and since they know she can read minds now they can keep hidden from her a bit easier and i just find it hilarious for some reason these two going all the way to try and get Anya to not suspect them (which even if they go over the top ridiculous she never seems to figure it out-) also imagine a cute scene where she’s talking to an old man on a bench in the park when she’s all sad (and she doesn’t know it’s Loid) and she’s sad because she just wants to make her family proud and Loid gives her words of encouragement and is so proud but like also oops sir you’re not supposed to blow away your cover and PFtt it’s so cute!

Anyway might write it? Idk maybe? I mean classes are going easy so I could sneak writing a few chapters or two while in class 👀

-so first of all idk really. i feel like im in an in between state tbh. like i have my “self insert” saotome mokou and yes i lvoe writing about her a lot but at the same time her backstory is so in depth it kinda feels more like writing a character than “me but im in loid for some reason” tho idk i dont have too big a problem w it. bc sometimes i just wanna insert myself specifically into plot things(tm) like ep 23s ending in that one fic, and thats all fine and good but sometimes i just wanna have like legit me from real life kissing up on mozart or holding his hands or doing other less sfw stuff too

-anyways saotome mokou, my formal loid self insert. basically me with a few exceptions. she works for arkhe and in season 1 was technically sent to spy on the loids and kanae and the whole crew so didnt want them getting close to her bc she felt shed betray them (aka my crippling self doubt and constant worry about letting down people that like being around me). honestly no one cares and shes relieved but also kinda mad that theyre all so nice. in season 2 her personality is a little different, shes done w their bs and the way they treat kanae for the first 7 or so episodes. but definitely after/during the mari ep shes seen that her boi still has a lot of good in him, hes just been more garbage gremlin than usual as of late. idk what shes doing in ep 12, probably very loosely there at arkhe so misses like the whole plot, clakla relays what happened tho probably and shes like “that kid... -clenches fist-” on a less plot heavy note she loves the anime detective conan and the jojo manga and sometimes references it. but yknow actually subtlely. unless its conan. then she has all the subtelty of something not subtle.

-tbh i wanna befriend all the loids. all the everyone. tho obviously its not gonna be the same relationship all across the board. most of our friendships are based on “hey we both do that thing” or “im nice to them/theyre nice to me that one time” sorta things, especially when we dont have much shared interests. and i do mean all the loids. i dont completely trust kanaes parents but ill be polite enough w them. also try to talk out stuff w little wa kun bc kids had like no responsible adult role models and does he act the most politely he could possibly? course not he insulted my boy for a really scummy reason (that is no reason besides to see him cry im still pissed at that and that the fandom cheered him on for it). but on the other hand hes the only one who cared about kanae for the first 1/3 of the show (besides sousuke and hasshie probably) and i respect him for that. that and spite towards the fandom is always a big motivator my dudes

-aimetachi crossover: about start of s2 is when it takes place, aime trio meets saotome (yea this is saotome, like how kisumi and aime are all called by name in this even though theyre all self inserts) in fantasiaworld and they go through all the musics that weren’t covered in the games already. so like dance of the hours and toccata and fugue and stuff. saotome is more bitter and melancholy here and dresses kinda like olgamarie. the kinda abrasive and in complete worry of letting people down/not being good enough is also olga marie esque. it ends in the ave maria segment when the portal opens up in the church all the nuns are going to and saotome finally is able to open herself/loosen her defenses enough to trust a little bit once more, and runs through the portal in tears at wanting to go home, to see everyone again even if theyre jerks and idiots. and then aime closes the portal and gets a bitchin new loid key baton thing

-based on the halloween illustrations au: i literally just came up w this. but anyways saotome/i am a vampire hunter type maybe? but surprisingly a kinda peaceful one. i try not to hurt or kill the creatures i fight and instead just try to find a better alternative for their afterlife than something thatll put others in danger or whatever. i probably end up crashing in schuus church or whatever, and fight vampire moz or something. idk.

-the loids are also kinda in detective au but thats a whole nother can of worms. theres also one somewhat related where im a phantom thief type with a black cat theme and secretly kinky thoughts

-western au: based on s2 e17. my self insert in it has an outfit based on my wr days and is from the city but moved out west for a reason? i like to think its kinda like crazy for you and the golden horseshoe lost its ownership and i got it somehow so i am on a journey to go there and hopefully bring music back to it or something cheesy like that. anyways maybe i run out of funds or more likely dont have musicians so i kinda chill in audreys restaurant (lmao) playing(?) cards and drinking sarsaparilla and hoping it can be like in animes and some dude w silly hair and an even more silly hat will walk into the doors and challenge me to a card game. then i guess outlaw moz does that and im heckin fallen. lmao idk

-shamisen au: based loosely off the sumo ep. literally ep 15-17 all have weird af aus ive made based on them. anyways in this one i/my self insert is a shamisen instrument that has been brought to life a la touken ranbu by misaki for some reason. but she is going to be called away but agrees to stay long enough to help me get adjusted n stuff. my self insert is pretty perky and excitable bc thats how i feel about learning about sumo n stuff. anyways juzo and tora are also in this au as martial artists and i befriend them too. so its just little human shamisen me running around visiting the sumoloids and juzo and tora basically.

-misc gremlinshipping aus: idk i guess theres a lot. like mildly angsty, based off dreams, a lot are just us going to a place i have traumatic memories at or at least not very good memories at like disneyland or vienna and in the former its moz doing the stuff that i have bad memories of someone doing in the past but hes so ridiculously cute and attractive that it overwrites my bad memories, in the latter its easier i guess to overwrite something that was literally an emotional void brought on by stress and despair, with the exception of that one thing which would lead to a lot of emotional turmoil for me. anyways those are fun. sometimes hes wearing like a 18th century outfit and its hawt lmao

-the uchuu no kishi one. this doesnt even really have to do w loid besides that it was brought on by ep 16 and schuu is there. like idk they probably said in canon but this is my kinky ass brain getting an explanation of how he gets home. and its that uchuu no kishi is in space w tuley pluffle the darths and space ayers and we pick up schuu and take him home. thats the basic gist of it i guess. its kinda vague so i can be as edge(tm) as i want to at any given time.
