The compact is designed to resemble an ornate heart-shaped locket, with intricate gold filigree and red enamel detailing. The front of the compact features a large, ruby-red heart shaped gem at its center, surrounded by smaller white pearls and golden rose motifs. The edges of the compact are adorned with tiny playing suit symbols (hearts, spades, diamonds and clubs) in gold.

The compact opens with a delicate golden clasp at the side. When opened, it reveals a mirrored interior, with the mirror itself framed by more golden filigree and tiny red and white roses.

THANK YOU!!!! Designing him was really fun. I was trying to channel the energy of the douchey guys I went to school with combined with the hypebeast stuff I’d see constantlyyyyy in middle school. You better believe his hoodie has a Supreme logo on it. Here’s a shitty sketch from when I was figuring him out

search up cuphead and it’s different boss’s, possibly talk about what they may be referencing. 

Cupheads deisgn style is based off of old 1920′s cartoons which were dominated by the rubber hose aesthetic, a style called as such due to the very wobble and stretchy animation style used in a majority of it’s characters at the time 

fun fact due to the lack of colours a lot of the characters were design to be pure black in terms of colour to better stand out more from the background but would usually have clothing accessories like white gloves to better show off hand gestures and prevent it from just looking like a weird blob on the end of there arms.

as for why I was tasked with researching this, one of the Teachers made note of one of my logo drawings looking something similar to a boss character In cuphead and asked me to look a bit into cuphead bosses and rubber hose animation. 

honestly of all the cuphead bosses I’d say they most resemble loopy le grande due to the more circular shape and large eyes and teeth

Visual languages and systems play a crucial role in the design and functionality of a food delivery websites because delivery websites aim to create an engaging, user-friendly interface, simplifying the process of ordering food online while ensuring an enjoyable experience for users from start to finish.

Applying the concepts we studied in the visual communication course and offering comments on how they were put to use in the application was incredibly beneficial. I was able to fully understand the usefulness of these design components in practical situations through these real-world implementations.

As a part of research I was able to find what are the Typefaces and the colour theory they use in food delivery websiites.

Typography

Primary Typeface: Simpleand legible sans-serif font for its logo and headers.

Secondary Typeface: For body text and smaller elements, complementary sans-serif font that's easy to read on digital screens, such as Arial, Roboto, or Open Sans

Colour Theory

1.Orange: These colours can convey warmth, friendliness, and optimism. They're often used for highlighting comfort foods or creating a welcoming vibe.

2.Green: Often associated with freshness, health, and organic produce. It's commonly used for highlighting healthy.

3.Red: Known to stimulate appetite and create a sense of urgency. It's frequently used for highlighting discounts, offers, or enticing food options.

Most of the food delivery webistes do follow above mentioned typography and colour theory to keep their deisgn simple.
