TT:
- Universal relationship truth: every relationship has a person who forgets/can't be arsed to put a new stick of butter in the dish, and one person who always thinks ahead and puts another stick in the dish. I'm the later person. If you are not the later person, at least say thank you to the person who is the butter master.
- I didn't have taking a CDL on my bingo card for this summer, but I start on Monday. Also means if work doesn't re-open by the 26th of August, I'll probably be headed back east to either do work for NRC in Ohio or Montana to do clean-up on the Yellowstone River.
-Speaking of work, my old job sounds like they are gearing up for a call back. Fingers crossed. I just want to work!!!!
-and in completely unrelated news, and not to be horny on main, but is anybody else more frisky these days than usual? Like, you are noticing that more people are smiling your way? I'm probably full of it, but it feels electric around these parts. Maybe we are all just collectively "underfucked"...
- My view this morning, my rocks on Saturday are looking better and better, and a screen grab of my friend Nick's office view this morning which included Mt Shishaldin smoking up a storm. During the earthquake the other night and Tsunami warning, they had to run out deep... Thankfully, there was no Tsunami. His pictures this year are truly stunning...(I also have boat envy, but his boss is another story).
- Anyhow, one final note: yall are wonderful and truly stunning individuals. Thank you for being you and sharing yourselves. Much love!
- one

Volante Farms now run by the fourth generation of the Volante family, traces its roots back to immigrants Peter and Caterina Volante from Atina, Italy. Their journey began in 1917 when they established Volante Farms on land along Dedham Street in Newton.
Initially, it primarily operated as a truck farm, supplying fresh produce to the Boston Produce Market each morning. Peter, renowned as "The Celery King," gained fame for his distinctive Pascal Celery, which he distributed across the eastern coast until the early 1950s. #VolanteFarms #FarmStandHistory #CeleryKing #FamilyLegacy #farmstand #farmtotable #needham #needhamma

CLOSING TIME! Get to these Farmers' Markets in October before they're gone for the year!
we’re in awe of this beautiful image from Bellevue Farmers Market October is the final month for several local farmers markets until next year, but as this gorgeous graphic from Bellevue Farmers Market demonstrates, there’s still plenty of fresh, local produce to be had- as well as prepared foods, baked goods, pantry items, flowers, all your decorative gourd season needs, and more.  A list of…

I'm rewatching leverage out of nostalgia and some other emotion I haven't figured out yet, and I do think there's a story in "Maggie Ford Collins deals with having the most unhinged ex in her suburban book group, learns to hotwire a car, and gets her groove back, not in that particular order."

"And you are sure these are edible?" "Ja. Well, sort of." "What does 'sort of' mean, Caleb Widogast?"
Here is Shadowgast in the style of Scavengers Reign!
Yes, this is a transparent and blatant attempt to pspspsps my fellow fans of Critical Role into watching this series. The first season is airing now on Netflix as of May 31st. They picked it up after Max did not renew it for a second season, and will decide based on the reception now whether to continue - so I am hoping that lots of people discover the show and love it! The animation studio is Titmouse, who also produces The Legend of Vox Machina.
It's like a Miyazaki-esque Annihilation. Cosmic horror and cosmic wonder in equal and necessary parts. If you like the funky biology parts of Candela Obscura, give this a shot. There is horror. There is humanity. There is hope and connection. There are creatures of all shapes and sizes, including a wonderful amount of tiny idiots, which I have made many compilation posts about. It's a setting where you can envision David Attenborough peacefully narrating a nature documentary about it, but be horrified the same time. Just an absolutely incredible show.
