[AU] Little Nightmares: DARK FATE (PART 57)

HI EVERYONE almost 3 weeks without comics- well, like I said before: I was PRETTY BUSY with the work and the script that was very difficult to write due to lack of inspiration. Did you know that I rewrote part 57 about 4 times?

But I'll try to do part 58 "as fast as I can". The funny thing is that when I released part 56 I was 21 years old and now with part 57 I'm 22 years old BRUH

Ok, let's go!

Well, new character named "Jack" huh? Quite mocking and sarcastic, I love characters like that 👀 (although I would hate to meet someone like that in real life). But there is still the question of whether he is a good person or not? Well, let's see through his actions that are good, don't you think?

Well, this ending will be quite decisive for our dear Six, will she choose to go with him or find a way out on her own? Detail: she has a wound on her leg now.

The Thin Man as a mer!

He is based (loosely!) on a gulper eel. Go look them up, I did not do the mouth-to-body ratio on this thing justice - it's terrifying!

This is a part of my ln mer au, and I couldn't decide how to make the time loop work so in this au, Mono is not the (original) Thin Man, but rather, much like the Lady of the Maw, it is a mantle that can be inherited. Also I wanted him to be based more on an eel than a typical fish.

He is loosely based on a gulper eel, because they're super thin and have massive heads with a mouth that opens really wide to swallow prey. The idea of the thin man having a massive mouth full of teeth reminded me of that one piece of concept art where he's got a permanent, terrifying smile.

He's got a net tangled round his tail, and a few glitching remains of children are trapped in it. It's not clear if he knows they're there, The Signal doesn't care either way.

Glitching remains look like these giant black koi/tadpole things when they're made from fully human kids, and they look more like (a child sized version of) a specific fish if they came from a merchild.

I decided to make The Signal into something even more literally parasitic, a sort of growth that covers the victim's eyes.

The Signal's control is less of a manipulation and more (near) absolute control in this au, but it grows slowly, so the effect of it slowly pulling Mono under its command as he grows up would be similar to in canon, only he doesn't have to spend years in isolation for it to work.

[AU] LITTLE NIGHTMARES: DARK FATE (PART 53)

This part has an emotional weight focused on Six, what she feels, how she is suffering from all this, the feeling of lingering betrayal. She misses her little boy before he turned out to be someone completely different from the one she knew. That's why she says Mono is "a stranger" in the previous part.

Six is just tired of everything that's happening. So much so that she's kind of "accepted" her fate as The Lady, she didn't even struggle to refuse like she did the first few times. Six just wants time so she can save her friends and return them to Little Paradise safely. This part is also about time, will Six and Mono have time to be friends again? We'll see as the other parts unfold.

By the way, a curious fact is that Ferryman doesn't understand human feelings very well and he's also not one to be close to any child, but he understood that Six was suffering a lot at the moment and wanted to stay a little while, even though he felt uncomfortable with the hug.

I won't lie that this part really affected me, I felt a lot of pity while I was drawing this. I just feel PAIN (which is ironic).

A little spoiler: PART 54 will be a new journey, a new adventure in a new place and with this new dynamic between Mono and Six.
