The Runaway Kid Rambles

The Runaway Kid is up next! Not as many for him yet, still figuring out his character.

Around 9 years old at the start of Little Nightmares.

It was mentioned in another one of my posts but he is still alive in this AU! And manages to avoid his Nome fate thanks to help from Mono and my fan character, Bait.

It’s been so long since anyone referred to him by his actual name that he doesn’t remember it anymore. He got the name The Runaway Kid from his many escape attempts on The Maw so that’s what he decided to go by. To make things quicker, he eventually goes by the name Kidd.

Always tense and ready to run at a moment's notice. Looks like he’s never relaxed a moment in his short life. Even Six isn’t as high strung as him. Living on The Maw for a while will do that to a kid.

Quitting is not a word that is in his vocabulary. It’s why he earned his nickname after all.

Still not a fan of deep water, especially if he can't see the bottom. You never know what could be down there...

Absolutely hates cramped and/or dark spaces. He gets reminded of his time trapped on The Maw.

Six being rescued by a random boy who is willing to help her in any way... haven't we seen this story before?

Okay, one thing that should be clarified here is that after the fight, Six is suffering from "emotional damage" that made her temporarily lose her powers, Spider-Man 2 (Tobey) vibes, you know? So if Jack hadn't shown up at the right time she would have died in part 56.

Furthermore, this damage has left Six feeling extremely vulnerable and needy, not only because she is without her powers but also because she is without her best friend by her side. She no longer has someone who takes care of her and makes her not feel alone anymore. So the moment Jack offered her help she accepted without thinking twice, because he looks like Mono. Did Six make the right decision? Is she subconsciously trying to replace Mono?!

And about Jack, so far we've seen that he's a really nice guy who's just willing to help. In this act he's going to be a very important character for the development of the story and I'm really excited to show more about him. In fact, I'm also super excited to introduce his friends who will be appearing soon!

The next part will be about Mono, Lollipop and Spoon, how they are doing without Six and how they will try to solve it. See you soon!

Little Nightmares characters as Tinkerbell Fairy Talents! 

After speaking over it with @ciipher-arts (who knows more about the Tinkerbell movies than I do) With her advisement, I decided to assign talents via colorscheme instead of any other truer association with their darker original powers. 

I caught COVID this past week and sketched these out while I was sick in bed. It was therapeutic. 

*Mono's color scheme is a fight between olive green and brown depending on the lighting, so here I decided he'll represent brown.   *Noone, the last character, is from the Sounds of Little Nightmares. We don't know what she looks like outside of having a dress and a head silhouette. (And the silhouette has a purple background) So It's likely this depiction is inaccurate, but there were no other orange-schemed characters that fit the "animal" talent. Plus, Noone always loved moths as a child, so it may as well be her. (I'll make an official design page for her at some point, but I heavily based her design off of Jane from Peter Pan 2)
