I prefer to write some words outside of the daily blog for this fantastic AU!

I discovered this AU around 2017, when my passion for GF in general had only just begun, the idea of ​​a Dipper transformed into a cool and immortal Demon seemed super cool to me! Despite the incalculable amount of angst that was there, yes

Despite those years not having enough English level to dare to read the classic AU fanfics, the fanarts have helped me to have a certain context of what was happening, learning over the years, everything that the AU offered, now I am slowly getting closer to the fanfics and boy am I enjoying it!

Now, after 7 years, with a completed degree, a pandemic survived and with good friends by my side, maybe even if they weren’t that close, TAU was a great inspiration for my stuff, showing me once again what the community is capable of doing for pure love and dedication to a work! Never underestimate what we can create with a great idea! (I mean, look! Tired of Ignis rejecting him on purpose just to test him, and having ended his list of pick-up lines, Gladiolus has come to the decision that he’s conquering the man for once and all.

His weapon: a poem made up by himself.

Today Gladiolus stole gently took the flowers from a vase of the hotel’s lobby, made sure he was looking decent (meaning, he did nothing to his usual looks), and approached his man, currently looking at Angelgard on the distance in this fine morning.

Gladio: Noctis suggested you’d like a poem, so... Ignis: If this is another vulgar or obscene attempt of a pick-up line, I swear to the Astrals, Gladiolus- Gladio: No, no. Please, be quiet and just listen. Ignis: ... Gladio: A Poem for Ignis... Gladio: *gets down on a knee* Gladio: *offers the bouquet up at him* Gladio: *clears throat*

Because you smile with so much joy, And you snap your fingers so cutely, my boy, Because you turn at a side with so much grace, And there’s happiness gleaming in your face, I can’t help but stare at you breathlessly, When you come up with a new recipe. 

Silence.

But then, the prey Ignis smiles widely, accepts the flowers, and leans down to give a tender kiss to Gladiolus’ forehead.

Ignis: Okay, Big Guy. You win.

Needless to say, Gladiolus screams out in triumph, picks his man up in arms, and runs through the beach like that just because he can.

Ignis smiles all along and lets him celebrate his triumph. Of course I was losing this game.

Who could say no to him?

Even less myself, when I love him this much.
