Aqui dejo lo que pude avanzar en mi sugerencia de actores de voz para RinRin y los Hermanos Monos uwu
Y Rinrin es la pareja de Paramita... Necesito hacer un dibujo de su boda real uwu
translation via Google:
"Here I leave what I was able to advance in my suggestion of voice actors for RinRin and the Monkey Brothers uwu And Rinrin is Paramita's partner… I need to make a drawing of their real wedding uwu"
Oh yes! Paramita fell in love with RinRin (based on the same character from Sayuki 1960) - making him the first and currently only one of Sun Wukong's children to be married with cubs of his own!
I believe we discussed RinRin being from a foreign land - a monkey yokai (Sarugami) from Japan, and therefore a Japanese Macaque. They are the monkeys who love hot springs. I feel that she likes to tease her father-in-law by calling him "Son Goku" especially after a certain cartoon becomes very popular! XD
Paramita and RinRin's wedding is the most elaborate party Alolai has ever seen in centuries. Wukong wanted to lavish his eldest son and his daughter-in-law in a way fit for a Crown Prince and Consort.
So you can imagine Wukong cried like a baby when he discovered that he was going to be a Grandpa.
Twin cubs, brown-furred with their mother's sparkling dark eyes. Curious and giggly, and able to charm any treat from their elders.
They're based on the minifigure Legos "Brother & Sister Monkey" - we agreed that they are meant to be baby monkey yao!
And being Paramita's children; they make Sun Wukong truly Grandpa Sun as he's known in the books!
The image of the Queen Elizabeth smiling at Prince Harry made us think of a funny situation between Sun Wukong and his top soldiers.
Wukong, joking: "Soldier, you look an awful lot like my eldest son." Paramita, in military uniform: (*trying his best not to laugh*)
Wukong is so very proud of his son and grandchildren. <3

____________________________________________________________________________________________
Red Son packed his bags with as much as he could, he wanted to be prepared for anything that could happen over the three day visit to Chang'e’s palace.
His uncle was finally ready to leave that damn mountain he'd been on for the last four years, and it was determined to be best for everyone if they went to a neutral location, hence, meeting at Chang'e’s.
Which meant three whole days of being in the same palace as Sun Wukong, Red Son couldn't stand being on the same continent as him most days.
And his spawn.
He wasn't exactly thrilled at the prospect of Sun Wukong having an offspring, one of him was more than enough already, and that offspring was a baby.
He wasn't good with babies, he didn't have the temper for them, a fact that once irritated, or rather it was worry expressed as irritation, his mother. After all, if he couldn't handle his temper around children, how would he handle it around his own eventual children?
How his mother could think about the future past freeing his father, he didn't know.
The wretch will probably cry when it sees me. He thought.
A part of him wanted to see Sun Wukong’s child cry at the sight of him.
He heard the winds whipping by before he had the time to unpack that thought.
“Red Son, are you ready?” His mother asked.
“Yes Mother! Coming.” He shouted, shoving the last of his things into his bag and following her out of his room.
Mother was dressed differently than usual, a simple, by her standards, red ruqun with gold trim, her hair was pulled back, but not put up in her elaborate horn-like hairdo.
She wasn't dressed for a fight or dealing with potential allies. She was dressed for a relaxing visit with family.
She has high expectations of how this will go. He thought almost bitterly.
He didn't like how relaxed his mother was being about all of this. She was going to spend a weekend with the simian who imprisoned her husband!
He truly didn't understand his mother sometimes.
Mother stopped at the end of the entrance of their unofficial portalling room. His sigil was burned into the ground by how often he used it to go places.
“Red Son.” She stated.
“Yes, Mother?” he answered.
“I do not want you to impart your bias against Sun Wukong onto your cousin. She is Mihou's daughter as much as she is his, I would prefer if you focused on that instead.” She said.
Her harsh gaze darkened.
“She will be getting enough of that soon enough, she doesn't need it from her family too.”
“I will try, Mother.” He answered.
A cold glare landed on him.
“Succeed.”
He nodded.
Her expression returned to the calculating neutral he was used to. A hint of warmth snuck its way onto her face.
“Try to keep a handle on your temper, Mihou said Liu was with them to visit her sister, and you know how they all are with fire.” She added in a much softer voice, to him, to the outside viewer it probably sounded the same.
His uncle had died to a fire twice, Liu died and lost her first cub to fire, she was on edge around him. The monkey demon was one of few who's fear of him he didn't have an issue with. He nodded.
“Thank you.” She said, giving him a small smile of approval.
“Let's hope everything goes well.” She turned her attention to the sigil.
He snapped his fingers, igniting a small flame at his fingertips. He let the fire bounce from his fingers onto the scorched sigil, igniting it once again.
The portal opened onto the Jade Garden on the Moon.
XXX
Wukong leaned against the wall, nausea churning in his stomach. His mate's shadow travel made him sick the longer distance they went.
Flower Fruit Mountain to the moon was a pretty long distance.
“Are you alright there, Sh Hóu?” Liu asked while his mate patted his back sympathetically.
“Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine.” He said.
“Good, I don't want you throwing up in my garden.” A voice he'd half forgotten came from behind.
“Yùtù!” Liu'er exclaimed happily.
Wukong gladly took their daughter from his mate so he could give the rabbit girl a hug. The two of them had always been close.
A small smile graced the typically stoic and annoyed rabbit girl’s face. Her big smiles were saved for RinRin of course.
“Liu! Shí Hóu!”
A ball of grayish brown fur knocked the both of them over. RinRin squeezed them tight in a crushing hug, her tail smacking against the ground with excitement.
“Yīng táo, you're crushing your sister.” Yùtù said, smiling warmly as she helped her wife and sister-in-law get up.
“And me.” Wukong huffed.
“What about you?” Yùtù responded.
“Be nice, huā.” RinRin giggled.
“I've got you, peaches.” Liu'er said, offering a hand to help him up, the other was holding their daughter.
“When did you grab Chao-Xing back?” he asked.
“Before RinRin knocked you down.” His mate answered.
“Gods! I was so excited to see you I didn’t even realize you were holding the baby! Is she alright?” RinRin gasped.
“See for yourself.” Liu'er held the cub out to the monkey and rabbit.
“Hi!” Chao-Xing chirped happily, her twin tails swishing excitedly.
RinRin had always been a sucker for cubs, so the gray-brown monkey falling over gushing how cute Chao-Xing was expected. The little cub shyly hid her face in her hands at the wave of compliments.
“Hmm… well she's certainly cute.” Yùtù commented once RinRin settled down.
Chao-Xing’s ears wiggled happily at her words.
“Cute is hardly enough to describe her! She's absolutely darling!” RinRin objected.
Yùtù fondly rolled her eyes at her mate's enthusiasm.
“You still love babies, don't you?” Liu prompted her little sister.
“They're just so sweet and adorable!” RinRin squealed.
“Wait til you're changing diapers at three in the morning.” He snickered.
“I bet she's still cute!” RinRin argued.
“The smell isn't.” Liu and Liu'er said together.
RinRin huffed at them, puffing out her cheeks indignantly. Chao-Xing copied her, RinRin started gushing all over again.
It was going to be an exciting weekend. RinRin was far from the anxious, stuttering cub she used to be. He felt proud seeing her so happy and comfortable with herself.
“Huā kuí, jiě jie is waiting for us.” Yùtù reminded her wife.
“Oh! Chang’e has been cooking up a storm for you guys! Come on, come on, we can't keep her waiting!” RinRin excitedly led them into Chang'e’s palace.
Along the way in, a large white rabbit with a baby blue tuft of fur on her head and lighter blue paws started following them. The bunny had light yellow spots on her cheeks and yellow eyes. She looked a lot like Yùtù’s rabbit form.
Wukong picked the bunny up, she let out a little surprised squeak before she settled into his arms.
“Who’s this little cutie?” He asked, booping the rabbit’s orangey yellow nose.
“Oh gods! I completely forgot to tell you about Airui!” RinRin gasped.
Aurui wiggled in his arms, he set the bunny down, she immediately bounced over to RinRin, rubbing her head against the gray brown monkey’s leg. RinRin picked her up, cradling her in her arms like a baby. Wukong glanced at his mate, they both knew that look on the younger monkey’s face.
“Mèi mei! Why didn't you tell me I had a niece?” Liu scolded in mock offense.
“Because… I live on the moon?” RinRin offered.
“Hmm, guess that's a pretty good excuse.” Liu shrugged, wrapping an arm around her sister's shoulders.
“So, how'd you two end up with a kid?” Liu'er asked.
“She's a celestial rabbit, she got banished.” Yùtù said flatly.
Wukong glanced at the bunny happily soaking up the attention her aunt was giving her.
“Really? That little thing?”
“She was getting into everyone's gardens and they got fed up. So they sent her here.” Yùtù shrugged.
“How old is she?” Liu asked, stepping closer to get a better look.
“254, we got her when she was only about a hundred or so.” RinRin said happily.
“Sof…” Chao-Xing mumbled.
His little cub was giving the bunny kit a few gentle head pats, Airui chuffed happily at the attention she was receiving.
“Okay, that has got to be one of the most adorable things I've ever seen.” He stated.
Airui puffed her chest proudly.
“You're a smart little bunny, aren't you?” He asked, giving her a few head scritches.
“Can she shapeshift?” Liu'er questioned.
“She hasn't gotten the hang of it quite yet.” Yùtù said.
“Her human form looks like Yùtù, it's the cutest thing ever!” RinRin told them.
“You have got to show me a picture of that.” Liu insisted.
“Chang’e is still waiting for us.” Yùtù reminded them, inconspicuously hiding her bright red face in the fluff of her scarf.
“Your ears still turn pink.” Wukong commented.
The moon rabbit turned away from them with a huff, pulling her mate and Airui down the hall. They followed the little moon family to the kitchen.
Liu'er handed Chao-Xing over to him to greet his sister, he hung back with Liu.
“Do you know when Iron Fan will be here?” The light brown monkey asked him.
Ah, right, they're coming too. He remembered. He had honestly forgotten that Princess Iron Fan and Red Son were coming too. He was frankly surprised when Iron Fan agreed, she had never been his biggest fan, mostly because of their personalities, and of course, after he sealed DBK, she hated him.
He did what he had too. She was free to hate him all she wanted.
“Uh, no, soon I-”
As if he'd summoned them, a bright flash of orangey red light came from outside, accompanied by the scent of smoke. Liu’s face paled.
“Looks like they are now.”
XXX
“Come along, I believe everyone is in the kitchen.” Mother told him once they arrived in his aunt's palace.
Red Son followed his mother through the gardens and halls of the Moon Palace. The aroma of plants growing in every corner kept out the moon's natural scent of charcoal. The floral scent wasn't too overpowering, it mixed with the smell of flour as they got closer to the kitchen.
“Brother!” Mother exclaimed as she entered the room.
“Jiě jie!” Uncle Liu'er chirped.
“It's wonderful to see you again, now where's my niece?” Mother asked.
Red Son's blood boiled as Sun Wukong stepped into view, Mother scowled at the simian, he gave her an awkward smile and handed a ball of brown fluff to his uncle then booked it out of the room.
Trying to keep the peace. He scowled in the direction the blasted simian had gone.
“Red Son, stop glaring and greet your cousins.” Mother instructed him.
He looked away from the man who tore his family apart, shifting his focus to the point of this trip, his uncle and the cub in his arms.
She was smaller than he expected her to be, much smaller.
Odd. He decided not to mention it, he wasn't trying to cause trouble.
The cub was a perfect mix of his uncle and Sun Wukong, he couldn't even pick what trait came from which parent, it was just both of them.
Her ears were the biggest exception, they were obviously his uncle's, they were too big for her head. And her face mask’s shape was completely unique.
She looked up at him with big, wide golden eyes full of awe. She smiled and reached her pudgy little hands out to him.
That's… not what I expected. He stared at the excited cub, a little stuck on what to do.
Most children had a sense he was dangerous and reacted accordingly, they'd cry or whine or scream if he got near them. The only children who didn't do that were the ones who somehow knew he wasn't a threat to them.
Either she's too dumb to recognize me as a threat, or she doesn't perceive me as a threat. He narrowed his eyes, he didn't know which was worse.
“I think she wants you to hold her.” His uncle chuckled.
“Is that a good idea?” He asked, keeping his distance from his uncle, and the cub who was staring into his soul.
“It will be fine.” Mother said.
A flick of her hand pushed him closer to them. The cub squirmed in her father's arms, she suddenly jumped, landing on his shoulder and nearly knocking him off balance.
He froze stiff as the year old cub climbed around him, Sun Wukong would surely kill him if he dropped his child, or worse, burned her. She sniffed and pulled at his clothes curiously, he looked to his mother and uncle for help, all he got was Chang’e taking a million pictures of him.
The child finally stopped crawling all over him, perching on his shoulder, where she started to chew on his hair.
“Nope! No no! Don't do that!” He pried the cub off his shoulder, gingerly holding her at an arm's length away from him.
She frowned grumpily at his, crossing her arms with a pouty face. Two tails twitched irritably behind her.
“Hair isn't food, starlight.” Liu'er scolded, taking the cub out of his hands.
He breathed a sigh of relief, until a bunny jumped into his still outstretched hands. The rabbit cuddled up against him, making herself comfortable in his arms.
“Aww, Airui likes you!” RinRin cooed.
“ … why?”
“You're warm.” Yùtù shrugged.
Oh great. I'm a personal heater for children and animals. He frowned.
“Don't be so pouty, she doesn't do this with everyone she meets.” RinRin giggled.
Red Son glowered at the bubbly monkey demon.
“Red Son, why don't you take the little ones to your room while we talk?” Chang’e suggested.
He glanced at the moon goddess,
He wasn't the best in social settings, he knew that, he almost always caused a scene at the various parties and events he and Mother due to some peasant pushing his boundaries and his explosive temper, he still didn't like being pushed aside like an annoying child.
“Little ears shouldn't hear what we're saying, bud.” Liu'er told him with a knowing smirk.
Oh. His face warmed.
Gossip, of course they were gossiping, despite their stature and status, his mother and her sworn siblings loved revealing in the drama. Their topics of discussion got very … crass, to say the least.
“I’ll just… go unpack then…” he said, awkwardly stepping away.
“Do you need help bringing anything in?” Sun Wukong had the audacity to ask.
“I don't need anything from you.” He retorted, whirling around before he saw the simian's face fall.
“Just leave him alone about it, Peaches.” His uncle whispered.
Red Son walked away before his temper got the better of him and he said something to get his mother upset. He felt a sudden weight on his shoulder, his cousin was sitting on his shoulder, chewing his hair, again.
This is going to be an annoyingly long weekend.
“I’ll bring you kids some snacks later!” RinRin called after him cheerfully.
XXX
There was a knock on his door, Red Son glanced up from what he was working on.
“Red? I've got snacks.” RinRin chirped from the other side.
His stomach grumbled at the thought of food. He wasn't the best at feeding himself, his mother had to drag him out of his workshop to eat more times than he cared to admit, so he might not have eaten breakfast this morning. He opened the door.
“Here you go!” The short monkey cheerfully held the tray stacked high with freshly made food out to him.
“That's a lot.” He commented.
“Oh hush, you’re too thin, you need to eat more or else you'll be nothing but skin and bones.” she said.
“Dinner will be at seven, you still like chili paste steamed buns, right?” She asked.
He nodded as he took the tray. The food was a variety of different mortal streak foods, and was clearly separated by food meant for him and for his cousins.
“Don't give anything spicy to the Chao-Xing, she can't digest it well yet, Airui doesn't like spice.” RinRin told him.
He turned his nose up at the idea.
“I know what babies can and can't eat.” He objected.
“Okay then, have fun you three!” She chirped, leaving with a cheery wave.
He shut the door and set the food tray down on a short table that both his cousins could easily reach.
The cub crawled over, curiously sniffing at all the new foods she was presented with. She was eyeing his heavily spiced portion of the tray intently. Before he could stop her, she grabbed a yóutiáo and took a bite.
He braced himself for the obnoxious crying that was sure to start, only to hear a delighted chirp. The cub took another big bite, cooing happily at the spiced glaze coating the fried dough, Airui stared at her like she was crazy.
Red Son stood over the small cub, she looked up at him with a big smile.
“Do you… like those?” he asked.
She gave him a big nod, then held one out for him, he took it after a second of staring at the cub who was just getting stranger and stranger. She patted the floor next to her with her now sticky hand.
He grimaced, sitting next to a sticky clingy cub who was likely to start crawling on him the moment he sat down did not sound like a good time. She stared expectantly at him.
She's going to cry if I don't. He told himself.
With a huff, he begrudgingly sat next to the child. She chirped happily and kept eating the spicy treat, one of her tails kept smacking into his leg.
He nibbled on a few of the snacks they had been given, eventually the cub crawled to the other side for some of the food meant for her to have.
She's more than old enough to walk. He thought as the cub enthusiastically put a dent in the pile of peeled lychees, smiling as she shoved the fruit into her mouth. Then she crawled back around to get more of the spicy food.
Why isn't she walking? He frowned.
Red Son observed the cub over the next hour of her and Airui playing together, never once did she walk on her feet, she just crawled, even when it would be faster to walk. He knew she could, Liu'er sent them a message about two months ago announcing her first steps, but she hadn't even tried to yet.
Sixteen months is very late for first steps, for any kind of demon. He narrowed his eyes at the cub still crawling after Airui. The rabbit had been winning all of their games so far, the cub was starting to get annoyed. The scowl on her face was far from intimidating, her floppy ears made it hard to take her seriously.
She crawled to the low table with a frustrated chirp, she used the table to pull herself up onto wobbly, unsteady feet, her face pinched in concentration.
Airui squealed in delight that their game was going to get more fun, happily bouncing away. The little monkey's tails swished excitedly, she used the table as a support to “chase” after the rabbit, though describing it as a chase was being generous, the cub was walking with very unsteady steps.
She reached the end of the table, her eager, excited smile faded into an uncertain frown. Airui hopped by her, playfully taunting her to chase.
The cub gave chase, stepping away from safety of the table, she took a few, cautious, unsteady steps, swaying more than she should have, before falling forward.
“Shit!” Red Son rushed to the cub's side.
She had managed to cover most of her face from the hardwood floor. She looked up at him with eyes full of unshed tears and a quivering lip. Her hair and fur were full of sticky crumbs and she had crumbs all over her face.
The cub was a mess.
He sighed, she wasn't hurt and she wasn't crying.
“You're filthy.” He said.
He picked the cub up by the back of her shirt, making sure not to touch her skin. She squeaked in surprise, almost immediately moving over to cling to his side. He scowled at the mess she was spreading onto his coat. His room had a bathroom, surely something in there would get rid of the stains, and clean the little annoyance clinging to him.
The sink was big enough to fit her in. He tried to pry the cub off his side, failed, then turned the faucet on. He ran a hand towel under the warm water, rung it out and started washing the cub's face. She pushed his hand away with an alarming amount of strength for such a little creature, she peered around his hand at the running water.
“Bath?” She asked eagerly.
“No. Just a rinse.” He answered sternly.
He was not bathing a baby monkey, he'd had enough of that when he visited his uncle.
“Feet?” she proposed, wiggling her toes.
“No.” He bit back a growl.
He needed to keep a handle on his temper or else he'd burn the child and she would look at him with fear like everyone else his uncle would be upset with him.
She pouted at him, but let him scrub the fruit juice, crumbs and dirt off her face and arms with much fuss. He set her aside on the counter and took his coat off to wash it.
The little monkey stared intently at him as he did. Bright eyes followed his every movement, it felt as though she were looking into his very soul.
He looked away from the cub’s bright gaze, focusing on scrubbing his coat clean. She was weird, babies were weird. He didn't understand why his uncle was so eager to have one.
“reeh reeee…” his ear flicked at the cub's mumbling.
“reeeed reeed, reed” more senseless babble. He huffed.
“redd… red…” his head shot up in surprise.
The cub squeaked.
“Red?” She chirped inquisitively.
He looked at her, the cub's entire face lit up with joy. She giggled, twin tails swishing happily.
“Red! Red! Red!” She chirped happily.
“What do you want?” He scowled.
She made that ‘up’ motion again, reaching for him with her tiny hands.
“I'm kind of busy at the moment.” He told her.
She made an “o” sound and covered her mouth with her hands, he rolled his eyes and went back to his coat. He got a few minutes of silence before he heard the little voice calling him again.
“Red? … Red? Red?”
He glared over his shoulder, the cub quickly looked away, hands still over her mouth and mischief in her eyes.
“I know it was you.” He growled.
She shook her head.
“Ignore the child, ignore the child.” He told himself, scrubbing harder at his coat.
A few minutes later.
“Red… Red.”
“Ignore the child, ignore the-”
“No!” The cub shouted.
“No nor!” she growled at him.
Course she's a brat. Red Son groaned. He glared at the cub, who was glaring at him.
“What do you want?” He snarled.
She crossed her arms and puffed out her cheeks indignantly.
“Up! No up! Play!” she shouted, kicking her feet in the air.
“Do you… want to get down…?” He guessed.
Her face brightened immediately and she nodded.
“Oh. Why didn't you say so?” He said, grabbing the cub off the counter, by the back of her shirt of course.
She immediately wriggled free of his grip and clung to his shirt instead, wrapping both her tails around him.
“What?!” He shouted, stumbling out of the bathroom.
“Sleepy.” She admitted, resting her head against his chest.
“Then sleep in a bed, not on me!” he said, trying to pull the cub off him to put her on said bed.
She shook her head.
“No. Red warm…” she mumbled, snuggling closer to him.
“What?!” He asked.
The baby mumbled something completely and entirely unintelligibly, then fell asleep right on top of him.
What the hell do I do now? He couldn't move her, that might wake her up, and if she woke up she might cry and if she cried everyone would be mad at him. He sat down on the bed, he wasn't going to stand for however long this nap was going to be. The cub shivered and snuggled closer to him, nuzzling him in her sleep.
Then she started purring.
The sound was unexpected and jarring at first, but it was nice, soothing even. He raised a hand to pat his cousin's head, images of fire bursting from his hands and burning the little creature he was trying to make friends with flashed through his mind, his hand hovered just above her fluffy hair.
Her head bumped into his hand as she shifted, the purring got louder, tentatively, he lowered his hand onto her head.
Airui hopped over, startling him when she jumped into his lap, he jerked his hand away from the cub on instinct. Airui just did circles on his lap.
“Oh sure, help yourself, I guess I'm just a bed now, it's not like I'm dangerous or anything.” He snipped at the bunny.
She blinked cluelessly at him, making herself cozier on him.
Soon, both the bunny and the monkey were sound asleep, and he was resigned to his fate as a bed for the next few hours.
XXX
“Dinner is almost ready, where are the children at?” Iron Fan asked.
“Oh I'll get them!” Chang’e offered her sister.
“Thank you jiě jie.” Iron Fan said.
Chang’e took off her apron, hanging it to be washed as she went down the hall towards the guest rooms she had cleared out for her family.
It was so good to have visitors again. The palace had been so empty in the past five centuries. Airui added a much needed bit of life to the palace's empty halls, so much so that she secretly hoped another celestial rabbit was exiled to her domain.
Until then, she was content with visits from her siblings and their families. Hopefully, their yearly visits started again. She missed her family.
She knocked on her nephew's door before entering the room, she didn't want to interrupt anything or startle him, he might spark up. She peered inside, the lights were dimmed and the room was warm.
Red Son was sitting on his bed with little Airui and Chao-Xing sleeping on him.
She slyly snuck her phone out and snapped a picture, it was too cute not too!
She cleared her throat and entered the room properly, her nephew glanced up from the holographic screen he was looking at. His face turned red at the realization he was caught being so cute.
“Dinner’s ready.” She said.
Airui’s adorable ears perked at the sound of her voice, the bunny eagerly bounced out of his lap. Chao-Xing looked up sleepily at the sound of her new friend leaving, she had a very messy bed head. Red Son got up, one of his hands hovering under the little cub in case she fell.
He would've been such a good older brother. Even if her brother-in-law hadn't been sealed, Iron Fan couldn't have another child safely.
He can be the best cousin ever instead. She told herself.
“Did you two have fun?’ she asked.
Chao-Xing nodded, Red Son shook his head.
“Oh c'mon Red, don't be mean.” She laughed.
I hope he didn't have a bad time, I hope he's not feeling pushed to the background. She thought.
“She likes spicy food.” Red Son said nonchalantly.
Chang’e eyed the smeared orange and red residue left on niece's lips.
“It appears she does.” she agreed.
Red Son set her niece on the ground, the little girl crawled in the direction of the kitchen, chirping to let her parents know she was coming.
“Oh! How about you and me do some cooking tomorrow? Like we used to when you were little?” she offered.
She hadn't seen her nephew in so long, things really hadn't been the same since his father was sealed, which of course they wouldn't, but couldn't help but feel like she had missed out on a lot of important things in his life when the yearly visits stopped.
She wanted to know what his world was like, she wanted to know everything she had missed. She wanted to hang out with him like she did before.
“I suppose that will be an enjoyable use of our time.” He said.
Chang’e couldn't stop herself from giving her nephew a big hug, she didn't care if she was burned, she got burned in the kitchen all the time. Red Son stiffened in her arms.
The only person who touched him without fear or hesitation was Iron Fan, and she wasn't a big hugging type of person. She let go and took a step back.
“I'm sorry, I got excited.” She apologized.
“I … was not expecting that, is all.” He said.
“Well I bet everyone's waiting on us! I made all your favorites!” She said.
She lead Red Son to the kitchen where their family was waiting for them.

tysm for posting the conversation we had!
Your art is truly amazing!
@quitealotofsodapop Au fanarts!
These are Ye Lin and Shihua from Stone Matriarch, redesigning them a bit to make them look more tropical and we also talked a lot in private with Ash about how their typical clothing worked being based on nature (leaves, vines, shells, leather and skins) and the fabrics saved for special occasions back then.

And I decided to take off Shihua's overalls and Ye Lin's glasses but he still has bad eyesight so he always crashed into a tree...
For example, we talk about the customs of the Yao monkeys, who have customs similar to those of the stone monkeys due to the cultural syncretism they had after the great flood; an example of this is that infants do not usually wear clothes or ornaments because they will be too small for them when they grow up, so in their late childhood they will begin to wear clothes, as a rite of maturation.
A case we can see is Brother & Sister monkey'' who just went through this stage.
My draw for they!!
Once the monkeys reach adulthood, they begin to use their characteristic makeup. Each makeup of the Yao or stone monkey is unique and is something that identifies them as an individual.
A young monkey king arriving for the first time to human civilization.
My redesing of Rin rin based @littledoodles501 and @/journey-to-the-au
The current typical clothing of Wukong and Macaque of the island, Macaque was based on Liu'er from Meihouwan 2009 only that here it is a complete cloth that wraps him and his scarf, and Wukong uses his characteristic cape and the phoenix crown.
I love that we all agree that Wukong wears turquoise eyeliner jfisabdoia
And all the talk came to derive in the way the clothes of the monkeys evolved throughout the centuries by the human contact, the monkeys currently conserve their traditional way of dressing adding fabrics to complement it as ponchos or bibs, even using underwear in the loincloths, because the current generations are more modest and those who live in the cities use modern clothes for the obvious, but they never give up their makeup since it is their identity.
And well all this evolved into how the monkeys will celebrate their typical festivals, an example of this would be the monkeys of Huaguoshan celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival that happened recently; we came up with a plot in which the MKCrew were invited to celebrate the festival by Wukong on the island, for which the monkeys go on a pilgrimage to celebrate the festival… only there was a small detail… Wukong didn't think of mentioning the clothes of the locals (Or rather, he didn't tell them the way they dress because he is aware that their typical clothes are very… let's say different…) and they will feel very out of place because they are all dressed in a traditional Chinese way, they would be like:
And then the Stalwarts save their backs by saying why Wukong told them, let's say that each one began to wear more typical clothes (Pigsy would be the most modest but would agree to wear makeup and an accessory) and while Tang… Tang would personify the phrase ''when in Rome, do as the Romans do''.
Sometimes Nezha, when he could escape from his duties, would go to celebrate on the island, and Chenxiang would also be around the area…
The origin of the monkeys celebrating the festival is because of a Macaque infant who is originally from the moon and came here to live with his own kind. Feeling bad about leaving his sister, with the help of some infants Wukong and Stalwarts, he made mooncakes to console her. And also one that Macaque is the king's consort.
During the day, people would play games, serve fruits and bugs; to pass the time, there was also a lantern-making contest that Wukong used to win every year when he was an infant; In which MK and Mei got very competitive, but they didn't win because they were poorly made so the rest of the monkeys had to help make them for the evening…
Once dusk comes everyone stands on the seashore to wait for the sun to set and once this happens they start to launch their lanterns; the first to do so is the King who always has his peach-shaped lantern and once it rises everyone starts to raise theirs…
Once the lanterns have gone everyone shares the table, which is outdoors like a picnic, where the famous moon cakes are eaten, in the MKCrew area there are Wukong, Macaque, Nezha and Chenxiang if they are there; Pigsy brings many homemade moon cakes because he is aware of the New Year anecdote; But you will be surprised that Wukong also cooked mooncakes and they are not made of hair (In my headcanon Wukong has many hobbies that he developed over the centuries and one of them is cooking and he was the one who taught Bajie to cook <3)
Chenxiang: Sifu missed your cooking! *Takes a cake* MK: *Memories of Vietnam* ummm… you're going to eat that…? Chenxiang: … Yes *breaks it in half and surprisingly it doesn't disintegrate into hair, puts it in him mouth* MK: *glares at Wukong* Wukong, guilty look: I panicked because my kitchen was dirty
Lo juro este mono tiene un desorden alimenticio...
So Pigsy now confirmed that Wukong's cakes are not hair, is curious about the king's ''kitchen'' so he tries one with caution and…
MK: PIGSY!!!??? Mei: I think I've killed him…
Pigsy begs for the recipe Wukong is confused since he's been making them the same way for centuries.
Sometimes if you receive food from Wukong, you're either eating literal hair or a piece of heaven...
MKCrew also finds out that Macaque is Chang'e's brother because he himself told how Huaguosha started celebrating this party.
MK: Dude!! We could have taken you to see her if you weren't trying to capture us for Lady Bone Demon Wukong: Maybe we will go visit her another time… without something happening that is the end of the world… *Looks at macaque*
Macaque is definitely visiting after the events of S5...
Then, once dinner is over and they have admired the moon, some monkeys will go to put their children to bed or go to sleep, other people will go to parties around the island drinking liquor made from pickled fruits. So Wukong invites them to spend the night. Normally they expect to sleep in the king's cabin, but he passes them by and goes into the depths of the cave until he reaches a mythical and enigmatic…
The stone palace…
From: El origen de GOKU - Destripando la Historia
hermano lo juro esta es la unica imagen que he encontrado del palacio de piedra del rey mono...
Wukong: "I thought you guys knew about this place?" MK: Normally we are in your cabin *His eyes shine*
Wukong used to live in his palace, but after what happened with Macaque… he decided to leave the place, he didn't want to be in a place where everything reminded him of him and he built his characteristic cabin...
Wukong's cabin is for him only. Palace has many beds for dear guests and subjects.
And the mid-autumn festival ends the next day with a great banquet for everyone in the palace, in which Wukong makes sure that everyone is satiated and sober… above all, recovered from their hangover, so that their subjects can return safely to the colony.
And if you have noticed the absence of the Bull Demon family is because Wukong did not know if he should invite the Bull Demon family to the festival, they are currently in a tentative alliance and went to the beach day more because they were celebrating that they managed to save the world; but he knew that they would reject the invitation for what he has done… So he did not invite them even though he wanted to celebrate with them too (I have not seen season 5, I do not know if they are on good terms now)
So as in every year he always sends them some homemade mooncakes… He just hopes that this time they are not in the trash…

I was looking at an old ask, and it made me wonder something- a while back, you answered when Wukong consciously and subconsciously started viewing Yue as a daughter.
Shanzha, I think that one’s pretty obvious, but what about Macaque and RinRin? (Especially Macaque, when did he shift from niece mode to daughter mode?)
Macaque jumped into parenthood after he came to terms with the fact that he was Yue's uncle. There wasn't an "uncle mode" or a "dad mode," just a "this child is mine to protect and cherish mode." An "I love this very stressed and traumatized child like she is my own mode." By everything but name, Macaque was a father by the time Chapter 4 rolls around. He still thinks of himself as her "Uncle" since it was the first and arguably the most important connection between them.
RinRin, on the other hand, came into the relationship as a stranger burdened with the duty of being a babysitter/mentor to a child. Her eventual role as one of Yue's parental figures was a slow burn. At the same time, it crept up on her without her realizing it. Maybe it was when Yue successfully lied her way into getting something she wanted in the clan. Maybe it was when Yue helped RinRin take off her mask. Maybe it was when she woke up one morning curled around Yue with Shanzha on the other end.
Yue and the Celestial Primates have a nontraditional family structure and relationship, but what matters in the end is that they're all family and they all love each other.

What do you think of RinRin actually transitioning FTM and becoming the Macaque who we know today?
Its a very cute theory! Especially since the scene of Macaque offering Wukong fruit in the mountain was based on a scene from the 1960s movie.
I also think some of Mihou's design in Meihouwang was even partially based on Rinrin. Light fur and pink accents.
Although I prefer to keep them separate characters in the TMKATI au, I feel at least one variant of Macaque is a grown-up Rinrin.
Theres a really cute art someone did of that possibilty!
