One of the probable reasons as to why Kaeya didn't arrive on time for Crepus and Diluc when they were attacked was because he, and the knights with him, had no vision, and thus, cannot use a teleport waypoint.

Him receiving his cryo vision when he was supposed to get scorched by Diluc was genuinely the biggest slap to the face given to him by Celestia. It arrived just in time to save HIM.

Even now, the vision only heals and shields him alone as a manifestation of his desire to keep living from that fight... but he can't use it to help others.

also, the reason for the mc switch is because yuuji's character fits the shonen genre more.

naive and just happy all around ((naruto??? gon??? luffy????? deku??? that kid in black clover?? i forgot his name)). im not saying that serious characters like megumi as mc was never done in shonen before - but since jjk was gege's first series, he had to conform to shonen norms a little for his story to be approved.

yuuji's character fits what shueisha thinks a shonen protagonist should be (his whole thing of saving every single person around and all that) while megumi's kinda fit seinen more (picking and choosing who to save depending on whether or not he deems them as a good person). gege wanted megumi to stay the way he originally perceived him, so instead of changing megumi's personality - he just gave shueisha the mc they wanted with yuuji. and kept megumi the way he is but as a supporting character that still have the same strong ties to the plot like how he originally wanted.

this isnt a megumi vs yuuji as mc kinda thing btw - because if gege had it his way he would have made this two a duo mc but shueisha wanted to keep to their formula.

im not, in anyway, against yuuji being the mc btw - i like how megumi was written in the story that we have now, granted i would love to see more of him, but his role in the story is just the way i like it! i'm just the type of fan who gets more invested in what the supporting characters are doing rather than the mc in any manga that i have ever read. e.g kagura (gintama), L (deathnote), sanemi? (kny), todoroki (mha), grey (fairytail), aki (csm), MEGUMI (jjk) etc etc.

so i like megumi as the supporting role.

and people seem to be forgetting that jjk almost got axed on its first ten chapters ((literally the same thing that almost happened to gintama back then)). so thats really just how publishing a series works. the mangaka (esp a first time serialized one) have to change the story flow here and there in order to conform to what the publisher want - not because they think the story they're trying to weave is boring.

tldr. gege never said he found his first draft boring. idk where all these people got this from. but i guess people wanna cling to anything that can keep their agenda running 🙄

Intensity, either in expression or body language. People who are super intense or major extraverts overwhelm me and I’d rather avoid having that interaction at all and not walk away exhausted or questioning my life after being verbally run over.

Blue. Painfully blue. Annoyingly blue. A friend at a halloween party said to me “Man I can’t look you in the eyes they’re so intense” Alot of my friends don’t lmao. Still figuring out what to say when people compliment them. My go to rn is to go “oh these?” and pretend to pull them outta my head.

Deadpool and Wolverine is where most of my interest was based for a while in terms of writing. But more recently it's become Arcane

Only 3, my writing goes through fluctuations depending on the hyper fixation so I haven't had much difference in fandoms recently

5. DeadClaws was a big one for me for a while but Jayvik has stolen my heart most recently

6. Bucky Barnes was a big one for me even though I never ended up writing much for him. And now recently Jayce and Viktor (obviously)

7. Yes, Arcane was a new one for me. I don't count Deadpool and Wolverine because that is technically Marvel

8. So far my fic You and Me and The Music I make which is almost finished has meant the most to me to write. It's been a hug comfort honestly

Viktor tuned out the methodical tapping of his shoes and cane working in tandem across the polished floors, he was well adjusted to the sound by now. The day was at its end and his bones had begun to creak. The hallways felt cavernous in the black with him unable to see the expanse of the celling or the depth of the hall. It only stretched out into more darkness.

I'm not hiding in the tags with this one coz I really wanna tell my perspective: me personally just couldn't see underage TWST characters as 'sexy' coz even if they're good looking or having a nice body, they still have this teenager mind and personality that put me off. TWST wrote their characters in par with the age they're assigned. Moody, boisterous, chaotic, hyper even. Like kids. Excluding Lilia because he pretty much gives off the 'hello fellow youngsters'. Vil and Trey are probably the most mature ones, but even so they still have teenager traits in my eyes (idk how to explain this it's just the vibes ok). Leona is fitting his age too lmao coz like he always deals the other youngsters with 'idc' attitude coz he's so tired of babysitting😭

Malleus in the other hand is an enigma but I will still treat him as a teenager due to how Lilia classify his age as 'still pretty young' despite the ambiguity of the mature age dragon faes are supposed to be (and ofc because of he's personality as well: moody af just like a teenager)

here is my hot take on the twst fandom and all other fandoms, no one cares that "this character is 16 why does he look sexy? why is there porn of him?" their ages are made up, these characters are made up, none of this is real. anyone can age up the characters at any point and do whatever they want with any of them. these characters are more like icons than representation of real people. no one should care or put too much thought into any of this.

How much stock do we put into the idea of, "It's fake, so it doesn't matter"? As anon said this is really applicable to all fandoms and it's actually kind of sticky when you get into the absolutism of this statement. As a rule of thumb, doing lewd things regarding fictional characters and such in the name of FANTASY ONLY is fine in theory, but it's way too easy to start stepping over the lines, so I can't endorse the idea whole cloth.
