Albert/Sherlock YESSSSSSS 100%. I ship Sherlock with any Lord of Crime I do think any could take his attention; it's Albert's interest that is unclear here. We don't have a lot to work with. It's definitely a case of Sherlock falls first I think, Albert gets pulled along into it. Sherlock finds him via his smooth voice and his delicious scent. Albert dislikes suitors, and would be highly defensive of himself as LOC, so I think that them coming together for the first time could have a lot of sexy fighting that boils into sexual tension. Albert doesn't really know what hit him.

If Sherlock is pursuing, that either means Liam is not his boyfriend or Liam does not care. Perhaps it can end in willsherbert with Sherlock smashed between two dashing Lords of Crime and giving him the time of his life.

I've touched on all of this in a lot of prior metas but I absolutely think it went too far. It wasn't even 'too far' as it was all absolutely unnecessary.

As for people thinking she's a Mary Sue, I've never seen that. It's more that Hermione's the fandom bicycle. She's the smart female friend who works hard and likes books so female readers often project themselves onto her. The Hermione from the movies is also softened down immensely which means many of these actions from the books disappear and we get an entirely different character.

People forget a lot of the things Hermione did throughout the series.

But son, Michael is yanked away by his identical twin to start a tea party with the Princess and Ballerina Barbies.

The tea party lasted two minutes, but in this time, Chloe could hear harmonious words leaving from those little mouths. [They were getting along.]

Them Michael went o the other box for more Barbies and took the whole family---Barbie, Ken and…a baby.

Then, Lucifer started to cry, and Michael threw the toys against the wall.

“Michael! Don’t do that!” Chloe admonished.

Yes, the angels don’t really have gender roles the same way human children do. In that way, Michael likes stuffed animals the he can hug, and Lucifer likes Barbie dolls to dress up and empower (and we’re being sincere; Barbie is the most empowering doll in history). I imagined the twins feeling so much guilt for their parents divorcing and, this time, not coming back together after. Their family is broken, and the twins think it’s all their fault. Michael thinks it because he’s crippled and can’t serve any purpose, and Lucifer thinks it because he’s “the bad son.”

What made you ship it?

Irene "she's just so cute I had to tease her" Adler! Particularly in retrospect after the transition. Wow, James, little boy pulling pigtails on the playground much? (Disclaimer that more recent attempts to teach children the importance of consent from a young age and to move away from telling girls "he's mean because he likes you" are good things. But I do still find this trope cute in fiction.) But also just...they are very fond? The reunion, how easily Miss Hudson accepts James and is just happy to see him safe and well and they kind of boop their heads together omg the adorableness?!

What are your favorite things about the ship?

I don't really trust myself to be the one to do it proper justice and handle it correctly, but I think someone more educated than myself and/or someone who is trans could do some interesting things with issues of gender and age and the time period. Miss Hudson is older -- likely old enough to be considered an old maid. In her own way, she is defying the expectations of womanhood in her time: she is a single, childless land-owner making her own way in the world. There might even be a bit of a stir if she took up with a younger man. She and Bond have very different life experiences, but they've each defied the assumptions they were born into, and them navigating the ways they are different and the ways they are the same would be really interesting.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I don't think so? My primary thought on this ship is just cuuuuuuuuute so it's not much of an opinion lol.

What made you ship it?

Literally if I'd gotten this ask a month ago I probably would have said no, in spite of the fact that there's been plenty of ship-bait for it. But that dang pub brawl chapter in The Remains finally won me over. There's this one panel in particular, of William's eye kind of going wide over Moran getting all rough and rowdy, and I was like "Aww man that's his Shook but Kinda Into It face." Spot the difference:

(I may be exaggerating slightly...😆) I had been leaning away from shipping it because I'm a little weirded out by the age difference in combination with how young William was when they met...but it's not like I think there was any grooming going on or anything, that is absolutely not the vibe. And I've always leaned towards Moran as proof of Liam having A Type lol. That last chapter just finally tipped it from a nah to a yass in my mind (with the caveat for my own comfort that any kind of sexual interest developed long, long after they met).

What are your favorite things about the ship?

The...weird feral codependency? Again, I like my ships either Very Healthy or Very Not. What is that like, "now he's all mine" business?! Carrying a playing card in your breast pocket for years?! The chosen instrument of death? Returning to the wild for three years like a tamed wolf that's lost its master, only to come back to heel the instant he returns? Unhinged behaviour. Also, Sherlock and Liam being the same height is like...important to me. But...the height difference. It's good. Look at Will peeking out from behind Moran's shoulder up there!

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

At this point I'm just gonna start answering this question with: whatever everyone else thinks the sexual dynamic is, strike that, reverse it. I'll take it the other way just to be ornery. 😂

As it is, while we know Carlisle didn't meet Jane in Volterra I'm not sure he didn't meet Alec. I don't believe it was brought up in the same way that it was that he explicitly not met Jane during that time period.

That said, we've got a few issues here already

Why isn't Carine Becoming Mother to the Twins?

Carine's position in Volterra is weird and the twins have a reputation. The twins are child vampires, an oddity no one quite knows how to connect with, and they're the power that brings the world to its knees.

They're mostly working during this time but even when they're not they're terrifying.

I imagine Carlisle (and thus Carine) wouldn't be sure what to make of them except that he/she would imagine they wouldn't want his/her pity. And that would be what trying to become their new mother would be: pity.

Not to mention that Carine is ultimately a guest (or believes she is). She's not necessarily staying here forever, not really a part of the coven, and interacting with the guard like that, especially Jane and Alec would be one of those awkward things where she's probably not sure if she's crossing a line.

Would Edward Get Weird?

Even without Carine acting as mother to the twins, Edward would get weird. Edward did get weird in canon, and Carlisle hadn't even met Jane.

Edward doesn't think of Jane and Alec when it comes to Carlisle's time in Volterra, but he certainly doesn't like that Carlisle spent any specific amount of time there and was good friends with the big three.

I imagine Carine would be no different.

It might even be worse as Carine would presumably have a very close friendship with a man. While Edward would not suspect Aro/Carlisle, I imagine he would suspect Aro/Carine, whether it happened or not.

If Carine had any sort of rapport with the twins, and considered them anything close to children (even nieces or nephews) I imagine Edward would have all sorts of feelings about that as it would lessen what Carine has with the Cullens.

The Cullens are Carine's found family! Edward is only reassured by the fact that Carine did leave Volterra, made him, and made the rest of the Cullens.

But I imagine Carine's time in Volterra is always in the back of his mind.
