I'm still waiting for The Old Guard 2, to come out. If you haven't seen the first one would recommend its a cool movie.

It makes me super sad that The Old Guard 2 is still not out. I'm really hoping netflix is not just going to scrap it because I know there are still so many of us waiting. No new updates since saying it's still in post production. Can we please get a new update Netflix!!! It's such an unbelievably amazing fandom and such a rich and complex story to tell with beautiful characters that it would be insane to just leave it behind.

En fait quand on y pense, la disparition d'Eldarya a été provoquée par la potion de l'épisode 13 de The Origins !

On apprend dans l'épisode 18 de A New Era que c'est la commanderie de Papounet qui a trop déchiré l'espace-temps avec ses balades de la Terre à Eldarya, du coup le tissu entre les mondes tenait plus et le maana s'est engouffré dans les failles, faisant disparaître Eldarya à jamais.

Sauf que si on en est arrivés là, c'est parce que la commanderie a été réanimée par Papounet et son flouze ! Et s'il a trouvé la commanderie, c'est parce qu'il a trouvé des infos sur l'Ordre du Jardin des Anciens, en cherchant pourquoi personne à part lui ne se souvenait d'Erika ! Et s'il était le seul à se souvenir d'elle, c'était à cause de la potion d'oubli bue par Erika ! CQFD !! :D

(Je sais que plein d'autres trucs auraient pu provoquer la catastrophe, y'aurait pu y avoir un autre méchant, d'autres circonstances, etc, mais là avouez que c'est un lien plutôt direct mdr)

Ce qui signifie aussi que Leiftan, en suggérant cette potion à Miiko, a fini par atteindre le but que lui et Lance visaient en saison 1, à savoir la destruction d'Eldarya :') Avec 8 ans de retard et un retournement de veste, mais quand même !

P't'être que c'était ça, sa vraie utilité en saison 2, être l'instigateur plus ou moins involontaire de la fin du monde :')

Absolutely begging The old guard movie fans to read the comics. Like they’re so fun and quirky and the art is so funky. And while the movie is incredibly true to the comics (apart from one major plot point (iykyk) and changing noriko to Quyen) you miss so many fun little details and stories like that Andy was married to a black man! More about Lykon, Booker getting kidnapped by nuns, the fact bookers name is sebastien (I’m decently sure it’s not said in the film) . If, like me, you’re desperately waiting for the release of the of the sequel, go read the comics. You won’t regret it

Side note: I really hope Quyen remains a villain like in the comics and she doesn’t get a redemption in the sequel just because that’s what fans seem to expect. The third and final comic isn’t out yet so like potentially she could get redeemed in that but I doubt it. Hard to come back from what she’s done and I don’t get the impression she particularly wants to change her ways
