could I req a matchup? any media is fine!Im a pretty eccentric guy, I love clowns, surprises and have a soft spot for 'so bad its good' horror. Im also really interested in the paranormal and criminal psychology, but overall I've been described as that one guy that puts waaay too much effort into a shit post. I'll admit though, I mostly act like that to make up for the fact that I grew up too fast, I have a lot of lack of trust in the world, so barely anyone really knows that side of me tbh
Alright my good friend!! After a lot of thinking I have matched you with:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Koko the Clown (Betty Boop):
Since he's a clown himself, he loves surprises and surprising others as well
He loves sitting down with popcorn just to watch so-bad-theyre-good horror movies and just laughing a riot to himself as he watches
I can see him just being one big living shitpost too
Hangyodon (Sanrio):
He has a strong liking of clowns since his biggest hobby is comedy so he has lots of tiny little clown dolls he keeps as a collection
He seems to be a guy who would but a lot of effort into shitposting
He kinda doesn't trust people too quickly at first but if you become a friend to him, he'll loosen up a bit
------------
I really hope these fit in for you somehow!
Let me know if need this changed any!!

japan week five ➜ yuuya’s DVD & zaiki’s photobook release events
july 30th shall go down history as the ultimate tezuka inception day. my friend sam & i -- two tezuka lovers/cosplayers -- met yuuya AND zaiki *_*!!
first was yuuya's event, which took place in a small jazzy lounge bar in ginza. it looked so fancy, and i think it was a good idea for them to rent a smaller venue since there weren't a lot of us and it made the event that much more cozy. there were 4 rows of seats and about 50 people there.
the event started with a viewing of a few scenes from yuuya's DVD, which i honestly dreaded, but the whole audience and yuuya himself were just laughing and making fun of it, so i felt right at home.
then came a very detailed Q&A section. if you've been following this blog for a while, you know that yuuya is a very... unique? existence. well, he just got even more interesting/weird.
first off, my suspicions about his large chest scar were confirmed. he mentioned that he had heart issues as a child and was constantly in & out of the hospital, which became his main motivation to study as a medical engineer, so he could help those going thru the same experience as him... (but now you’re tezuka kunimitsu?!)
he also mentioned that he studied abroad in china for some time. and talked about how happy he was that the venue was full since he remembered his band's shows sometimes not having any audience. i seriously don't know what kind of life this man has lived within the past 25 years.
when came time for the handshakes, i was much less nervous than usual since i had already interacted with him a few times before and he is just. such an incredibly down-to-earth normal guy. it’s really easy to talk to him lots! he had actual discussions with pretty much everyone and would tell everyone random compliments about their outfits or accessories. it was really cute, especially considering how most actors' vocabulary usually consists solely of THANK YOU!!
he yelled KAWAII!!!! at my bag (which was decked out with tezuka & hangyodon goods)... t-thanks...
i also want to mention how nice the staff at his event were. they were very friendly and patient, and didn't rush us when we were talking to yuuya. similarly, yuuya later wrote on his blog that the staff at the event told him he had really nice fans XD.
i then ran off to shibuya for zaiki time.
zaiki's event was wild. over 600 fans came, and he shook their hands for over 5 hours... is he okay...
this was a very simple, line up, cheki, handshake, take the photobooks & leave event. but it was still a magical moment for me.
for every other event where i'd meet actors, i could look at them interact with a dozen of other fans before my turn came, so i feel like i could calm down & prepare better. but with zaiki, i dropped off my bags, turned around the corner, and bam, there he was.
gosh. he looks so much better in person. he's also definitely way taller than what his profile says... or wears insoles? i'm 180cm with the shoes i was wearing that day, yet he was still taller than me ?_?. the beauty mark on his nose is hypnotizing and he looks so warm... his expression when he saw me was so sweet and calming and friendly...
the. the pose. okay, i was already expecting the worse since my friends sam and tina had both met him at similar events before, and both got shoulder grabbed by him... but imagine my surprised when i was the one who had to grab him. help. (my first thought: OH NO NOW I CANT POST THIS ON FACEBOOK WHERE I'M PRETENDING TO BE A NORMAL PERSON)
at first i had my hand really loose around his arm out of respect... but then i was like
a) the picture might look awkward b) THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE  c)  HE ASKED FOR THIS
so i. went tf in. it was a very nice arm. quite warm. thank you
we then had some time to talk to him. a surprising amount of time, actually, but i was happy. i told him how much his work as tezuka meant to me and how beautiful his voice is and all that stuff. i couldn't really find the words to describe how important meeting him was to me, so i just thanked him... XD
i was then escorted out and given three (3) copies of the photobook. save me
this was a really special and important meeting for me. i'm sorry for getting a little too personal in here, but the main reason why i was able to afford such a big trip to japan is because of what i inherited from my father upon his death. and the main reason why i was able to survive that difficult experience and time in my life was because i got back into tennis immediately after, when 8th were starting out, and zaiki's voice and general performance were a big comfort, and looking forward to everything 8th would do, even things as small as their next tweet, was the only thing that could keep me going on some days.
so, having the chance to meet zaiki and thank him (in an albeit very vague way) on my very last day in tokyo... it felt really meaningful.
and in general, i consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to meet two actors i’ve loved & supported from canada since their debut. i hope i can meet them again, and more importantly, i want to meet every other tezuka as well!!!!!!ww
thank you for reading this report!!
