remember the hardware store kittens. she was just purring away making biscuits in the bathroom section
#footnotes: there's two of them! sisters. they look identical but one has a pink collar and the other has a green one#(not sure of their names)#pinkie is a little shyer but they're both very friendly#often chasing one another around the store#they're also tiny. weigh nothing.#i did take a minute to pet greenie but she was so busy with her bathmat and purring she did not even crack open her eyes.#no response at all to a disembodied hand petting her just kept making biscuits. 10/10#i live literally next door and so i'm often in getting stuff (it's a proper hardware store they sell literally everything)#i'm not just stalking these kittens i usually have a good-ish reason to be there!!

#Oouugh i have thoughts abt the hollowhead siblings. How theyre so intricately tied to eachother since their birth but they'd be#Eachother'd downfall. Esp when it's Dark and his relationship with the others#Dark would never understand what chosen went through. Mainly bc i think chosen is used to fighting his internal battles on his own#While he was in captive as an ad blocker. He loves Dark. He's grateful for Dark bc without him he wouldn't be free#But Dark isnt exactly someone reliable enough for Chosen to get the necessary healing he wants and needs#But that won't stop Dark from trying to fix him. Creates the virus for revenge. As chosen watches his brother spiral and spiral#As he watches him drift further away. Unable to get him back without a shouting match. As he watches with his heart heavy and cracked at-#Their stiffed interactions and strained relationship. He can't remember a time where they shared geniune laughs.#Then tsc coming came and changed everything.#Because this is someone who went through Chosen's pain albeit a lil differently. Someone who knows. Someone who /understands/. And this-#Someone is so much more younger than them and had to go through that pain in such a short amount of time since their birth#He sees himself in them. And he's rather walk up to alan demanding to get his hands cuffed than let tsc fester in that pain.#So tsc became chosen's priority. Healed eachother in many ways than one and are at echother's beck and call if need be.#As for Dark. I think he'd manipulate tsc into using him for his revenge. After stalking out his code and finding out about his potential#And TSC cant help but fall for his manipulations. Since this person is very very important to Chosen and they want so badly to impress-#Them both. They agreed and overtime grew to love eachother. And overtime Dark shifted his goals just a tad bit. Getting TSC more and more-#Involved. Since hey if Chosen doesn't like touching alan with a 10 ft pole why not let this kid do. And TCS agrees to this thinking that-#This is it. This is can finally heal them completely. Finally out of sight and out of mind. Finally can't live without the pain lingering#And chosen watches them with a sense of deja vu. At loss at what to do and so so afraid to lose two of his lil siblings#Then shit hits the brick UBSJDBSJSN#They make me so ill im not even kidding when i said theyre so so very very doomed!!!!!!!!!#This is abt the au btw BAHHAHAHABHA

0/10 for the leather market in florence, got my phone stolen (10/10 if you want detox from your phone though)
#this was an experience#it took like 1 second#and it was gone#bc i was constantly checking if my phone was in my pocket#until it wasnt#and the funny thing is they got like a 3-4 year old phone with a cracked screen#anyway i went to the police and everything but im back where i live so i doubt anything will happen#i went to get a new sim card and they got me one for free that was so nice 10/10 for them#i got my old old phone back and its batter went from 97 to 80 in like 10 minutes#so i need a new one asap but i have to do the bank thing first#and i have to do a test!! today!! aaah

I will say being someone who is almost incapable of doing things in increments is so genuinely draining, like my brain just obsesses and when it's stuck on something I need to do that /Right Now/ or I'm just plainly not going to do it
#I always try to get better about it but like.#my brain has fundamentally always been like this#i have stacks of art from when i was 12 til now#where I started it but since I didnt finish it in one sitting I simply never finished it#and like yeah Ive gotten slightly better with stuff but not much?#When I was writing fic I would 9/10 write and edit the thing in a single sitting#just sot down and obsessively write all day and edit til the crack of dawn#bc I just know when i do an outline and stuff I will abandon it#when I clean I clean it all#When i dusted my brothers filthy room i was like doing this in sections over a few days would probably be best#but i still just went for hours instead until i was exhausted#ive been wanting to clean out the garage for years now#but it will absolutely take at least a week and the notion of stopping and starting frustrates me so i just dont start at all#ugh I dont know its just maddening#i wish someone noticed this pattern when i was a little girl so i could have gotten help and not dropped oit of school but#didnt happen so now i just live like this

been hit with sudden motivation to write for a fanfic I started like 4 years ago and never made any actual progress on very excited super duper eager it’s a rarepair and sounds like the most insane paring but I swear ITS GOOD
#they meet twice in canon and there is a very sizable age gap (made very uncomfy because one of them is…a child in canon) BUT THIS FIC STARTS#like 10 years post canon and goes even further so they become friends in their 20s and then for the next 10ish years they just become#supportive besties who are literally living the same but opposite lives#they’re insane and I love them it is in fact sunshine/rain cloud and I have no regrets#it SOUNDS LIKE A CRACK FIC WITH CREEPY UNDERTONES I KNOW IT DOES#but it’s two people who experienced really similar family dynamics growing up but ended up coping in opposite ways (middle child who becomes#outgoing so she ISNT overlooking vs middle child who leans into being overlooked)#and I REALLY love writing for one of them because she’s such an overlooked character and writing her reconnecting with her grandmother and#her grandmother’s culture is SO fulfilling for me#her whole arc is her realizing that yeah her sister is the golden child and became everything she couldn’t be but…that’s okay#she doesn’t HAVE to fit into this one singular aspect of herself or her heritage she’s actually so much more#and I—it just makes me SO HAPPY

every time it gets cold I think about my chemistry prof explaining chirality, and using the gloves example--they look very similar, if not the same, but the right glove will still only fit the right hand--and then put on the only pair of gloves I own that somehow, for unknown reasons, doesn't care about chirality at all
#for some added hilarity that particular lecture was held during winter#and right afterwards we had to switch campuses#for which i wore aforementioned gloves because my hands start cracking as soon as temps go below 10°C#...yeah. +10°C you read that correctly#idk i definitely chose the right profession for my skin#ANYWAY#prof. dr. sicker i still remember your lectures fondly#even though i've never really forgiven you the 'you won't have any troubles with biochemistry you'll pass with a 3 goodbye' bit#of the technically not quite legal final exam#but hey! he was right. i did not have any trouble with biochemistry other than acquiring a new nickname during THAT final#(prof went ahead and called me 'ms. bible' in a hilarious messup of my name in front of three other students#and well. never quite lived that one down)

trying to cook up more headcanons for modern philippines au but rn i'm stuck on the toudens' house being gross as hell. not even speaking of their habits i mean the house itself is gross, and it's not even a bad house compared to others, it's just going through a midlife crisis
#also trying to come up with a filipino surname for the toudens but i keep getting distracted by mental images of their gross house#thistle's house in canon is easily the grossest but he lives with the family in this verse so someone else has to compensate#he does go over there one time because the home situation sucks and is hypocritically appalled at the state of their home#mostly bc they don't have running water before 6pm#the lights suck. the paint sucks. the bathroom is a crack in the wall#there are three cramped bedrooms with no windows#the kitchen has a wide open hole in the roof that no one has managed to patch in the last 10 years#so you'll be in there cooking and suddenly it rains#it's an old family home kasi e it's the best they can get without living in an apartment and someone has to look after it#oh but thistle's room in the melini house absolutely knocks that out of the water. mold kingdom in there#really i think he'd take less issue w it being disgusting and more with it being inconvenient#can't cook monster meats for delgal when it's fucking raining in your kitchen!!!#come to think of it there should be a point when eodio puts his foot down and thistle has to keep the immortality project out of the house#and there's no other option but to use the toudens shittyyyy shitty kitchen#roomba writes#teleserye au

trains in europe are cool because they're affordable and eco-friendly and go everywhere and blah blah blah
actually my favorite part about european trains is that I never had to deal with tweakers sexually harassing me or spitting in my general direction
#internalmelon#literally even when i was a “boy” the public transit in this country was harsh for me#one time a man saw i was reading a book and sat down next to me#he tried to be relatable and dug in his backpack for a book but it was all trash and it was getting everywhere#i was in the window seat and couldnt leave#his crack pipe fell on the floor and rolled when the bus stopped at an intersection#i knew it was a crack pipe and not a meth pipe because it wasnt like a lightbulb and it didnt smell like burnt wires#he was like “oops can you grab that for me”#so i did and got off five stops early and walked the rest of the way even though it was like 10 blocks lmao#the last time i rode public transit there was this dude that was totally gone and talking to his reflection in the dark windows#now that i live in a car-dominated city with alright parking you couldnt pay me to take the bus or walk#it's just too dangerous out there after dark
