having been in therapy for over a year, been through an entire autism and ADHD diagnosis, i've somehow managed to renegotiate a lot of the relationships in my life around the boundaries that i've only recently realised I am allowed to have. i've managed to do this without cutting anyone off but i've had to lay down a pretty significant boundary with a friend today and im terrified that it'll be the end of our friendship.
ive been putting up with being ignored and having to chase her up constantly cause she's having a difficult time at the moment, have been much more patient than a lot of people would be, have been making excuses for this friend to my fiancé and parents because i wanted to avoid upsetting her and wanted to be kind and empathetic because i'm a people pleaser and it's something im having to force my way out of
it's the first time ive had to say something to someone that could end up ending a relationship/friendship and even though i know it's the right thing to do in the long run (i've cried, ive had meltdowns, ive had migraines while trying my best to not upset this person and be there for her with no reciprocation for 6 months) i'm just so scared.
anyway, all that to say that ive booked a therapy session (my therapist literally messages when i go too long without booking a session to be like... Liv... we both know what happens when you don't speak to me) and have booked tickets to go see the Heathers UK tour to help make me feel better!
(the matinee, directly before a night shift but boo that's for future Liv to worry about)
#i feel like a horrible friend even though im literally just standing up for myseeelllffff#you cant ignore someone for 6 months#say youll come to a bridesmaids dress fitting after being chased and messaged multiple times#then text with literally an hour and a half to go until the appointment to say you cant go without your friend ie me getting annoyed#!!!#personal

"I'm calling that shit right now." Liv laughed thinking about the pair of them talking in the theatre in hushed tones. They always did their best to be respectful but when they get excited things get a little loud. Maybe they'd try to go to a matinee on a quiet day. "I'm sure the invites will come pouring in, maybe we should have a couple costumes ready." She was certain of it, Aiden was incredible and everyone loved him. It was impossible not to love him. "All this time together and I'm still learning new things about you." She teased, sticking her tongue out playfully in response to the kiss. Her cheeks flushed on impact.
"Just have to wait and see." Aiden said with a small chuckle falling from his lips. It was one of the things he loved, being able to see the same movies with her and being able to talk about them possibly during the movie. "Ah yes that would be the best thing, I know a few people already have gotten started on their Halloween parties but no invites as of yet. Better to be safe than to be sorry and I promise to help, I am pretty good at sewing believe it or not." He looked at her with a small smile. "Oh you mean like this." He smirked, leaning in before placing a quick kiss on her cheek.

Ok so I just mentioned this in tags and I know I’ve theorized it earlier in DMs this week to a few people who have messaged me about it, but I do actually feel like this was intentional as an all alt show or at the very least an all alt and Lexi show all week?
All of the shows for this week were announced last Tuesday, at the start of the week. They usually have the schedules for the upcoming week planned that weekend and finalized/posted on Tuesday.
That original schedule had two shows with quite a number of alts:
- the matinee, with all WE alts scheduled and no one announced for Cleves/Howard
- the evening show, with 4/6 alts on but Courtney and Lexi still scheduled
Bryony and Liv didn’t announce their dates until today but seem to have known since at least yesterday afternoon at the latest. Sophie is still in isolation so we knew that had to be a cover (either with one of the alts, with a returning emergency cover like Alicia, or by sending a tour member to the WE). It also seemed super intentional that the two roles the standbys have been consistently playing recently would be the ones that didn’t have any of the main alts scheduled but would still need to be covered (there was also a whole lot of other evidence that they scheduled the others intentionally so Bryony/Liv could cover those roles if needed but I’m not going to go into all of that for lengths sake)
Lexi had been on and off but has mostly been doing one show on every two show day and having one of the alts take over the other. She was backstage today during the show but didn’t go on and is scheduled for the evening show instead. With that in mind we can assume she at least wasn’t busy and that Six could have scheduled her to go on for the matinee instead of the evening show when seeing that 5/6 other alts would be on? That being said she normally does the evening show which there may be a reason for with her long commute time etc, but either way she was there and it seems like (from our perspective) they feasibly could have scheduled her.
Same thing with Courtney Bowman’s. As far as we know this was Courtney scheduled show off for the week, with her back for the evening show. Maybe she specifically asked for the matinee off, but again they may have intentionally scheduled her on for the evening instead of the matinee so they *could* have an all-alt show.
Lexi was backstage today during the show but didn’t go on. My bet is that she was effectively their standby: if Liv needed to go off she could go on, if any of the other alts needed to go off Liv could cover Aragon/Seymour and have Zara/Hana switch tracks mid-show. Obviously super stressful for them, but I’m guessing Six felt confident that that could be done since they’ve all been on doing their tracks so much recently + knowing Lucy they probably had a plan in advance in case this happened.
#it seems so stressful but I AM glad that it seems like they had contingency plans etc in place and it wasn’t all announced today#six the musical#absolute chaos#six musical#six west end

tiny lucie's jenna things i can't stop thinking about over a month later:
the look she gave david when he said "out of the 762 babies i've delivered..." that just screamed you better watch your damn self, pomatter that turned into the smile and the you almost had me there point when he finished and said "between us, she's definitely the most beautiful"
the "i don't have ones i love, just ones i live with" laugh/gag
the fact that she had tears literally flying off her face during all of she used to be mine (and the scene beforehand) yet still sounded vocally flawless. she cried so much her eyes were still red and puffy during opening up reprise (which, in all honesty, is a mood)
her reaction to earl taking the money. it broke my fucking heart
similarly, the fact that when earl delivers the ever-manipulative “i just want us to be happy, jenna” she musters up a forced smile from somewhere, despite the fact she has tears literally pouring off of her face, and nods at him as if she’s saying i know, honey.
the fact she always gets flour on dr p's jumper after you matter to me. the first time i saw her, i thought it was an accident, but she's done it every time i've seen her :')
how much Warmth she has for not only becky and dawn, but also joe. she makes the relationship with joe full of such banter and warmth and there's so much Fondness. she loves these people so much
the look on her face and her little ‘ahhhhhhh’ when she realises that ethel might be gay after all
the cast were incredible before, but they're even better for having her to bounce off of
the way she mouths “or the baby--?” and gestures to her belly after she says “so there’s nothing wrong with me?” in the spotting-is-a-perfectly-normal-symptom scene before bad idea
the look she and liv gave eachother during opening up when i saw the evening show on the day liv made her jenna debut at the matinee
the subtle hints she gives that all is not well at home in the negative, like when she jumps when dawn grabs her and glares as becky when she snaps at her
how flirty she is with dr pomatter. she finds what a lot of jennas find a little weird, endearing, and cute in a 'oh my god you're such a moron' way
saying sorry to francine :(
“would you please call me jim?” “nO i wON’t”
holding hands with david when she says goodbye to dr p after having lulu :’))
the fact she always chuckles softly at becky's lopsided boob saga, bc her friend is funny!!! i love that lucie actually lets jenna laugh when funny shit happens. same as with ogie’s “there are no words... but i’m double parked” but it’s always so fond
when dawn called her the queen of kindness and goodness and she looked like she was going to burst into tears. that one got me
the “you’re in great hands with my husband” laugh
i've found this more with the west end girls in general, but lucie's jenna and marisha's becky love ogie from the start and get very excited about everything going on when he pops up at the diner (also definitely helps that the west end ogies have all been so much less creepy, but their reactions to him also help)
the sadness on her face when she turned around after saying goodbye to dr p, that then turned into relief and determination, and it was clear that she was certain in her decision and knew what she had to do and that she really can start her new life now
when dawn says “maybe his machinery is broken somehow...” and she looks at her like oh dang you really think that could be a thing? that’d be nice. and starts nodding gently when she continues with “what if his boys don’t swim” etc etc, until becky rains on their parade and she’s just kind of like..... yeah, valid
the fact it’s very blatant that lucie jones was born to play jenna hunterson. that’s my jenna and i’m proud
#waitress#waitress musical#waitress the musical#lucie jones#jenna hunterson#cc: jenna hunterson#i'm Mad at a lot of waitress related things rn but my love for lucie's jenna is Helping

a taste of the Big Apple
Hi friends! How are you? We’re back from an amazing girls’ weekend to NYC. Liv has been asking us to take her for years and since I had a companion pass that expired in January, we decided to go for it.
We left Friday morning and got into LGA around 10pm. We were both hangry so we literally had a midnight snack at the hotel: avocado toast for her and a turkey burger with sweet potato fries for me.
We stayed at the Hyatt Centric in Times Square. I did a little bit of hotel research and chose this one because it had awesome reviews, a great location, and wasn’t bananas expensive. It’s close to lots of shops, restaurants, Times Square (obvs) and the theatres. We got an AMEX platinum card earlier this year – we use a few different cards for miles and points – and wish we would have enrolled sooner. It is AMAZING. You get awesome perks and benefits (like free entrance into many airport lounges for yourself and 2-3 guests) and the travel benefits. I booked our hotel through AMEX travel and the rates on the site were much lower than the other rates I found online. You also get free hotel upgrades upon arrival (they upgraded us to a bigger room on a higher floor), early check-in, late checkout, and hotel credit at certain hotels. We got a $100 credit, so room service twice was free. I’m not affiliated with AMEX in any way, but if you’ve been scoping out the platinum card, my referral link is here. We loooooove it.
After our midnight snack, we crawled into bed and woke up the next morning ready for a full day of adventure. After a quick breakfast, we spent some time walking around Rockefeller Plaza, hitting up the enormous American Girl store, LEGO, and FAO Schwartz. We walked over to the New Amsterdam theatre for our first show: Aladdin.
TBH I didn’t have super high hopes for Aladdin. We’ve seen the animated version at least a thousand times, the live-action version a handful of times, and while I love Disney and LOVE Broadway, I didn’t know if I’d be thrilled with it. (I was just trying to find some kid-friendly shows that Liv would enjoy so she’d fall in love with Broadway forever.) I was thrilled with it. It was so different from the animated version and the cast was insane. The genie. You guys, the genie is a pure masterpiece of a human. He’s hilarious and incredibly talented. Friend Like Me was maybe 15 minutes long and I never wanted it to end!
Interesting fact: the man who played Jafar is the SAME GUY who voiced the animated character. He was also brilliant. The whole cast was wonderful and I loved that they made it a little different (and way more entertaining) than the animated version.
After Aladdin and our lunch of popcorn, M&Ms and skittles, we dropped all of our shopping goodies off at the hotel, added some layers (beanies, tights under our pants, and gloves), then walked over to Bryant Park to spend the rest of the night ice skating and exploring the Christmas shops.
(That’s a waffle with Nutella, marshmallows and strawberries)
Bryant Park is one of the many things that makes me want to live in NYC. During the holidays, it’s magical. There are little shops and food stops surrounding the ice skating rink. (Pro tip: get your ice skating tickets online so you can book a skate time in advance and avoid the giant line.) We had dinner at Fever-Tree because it was heated – it was chilly! – and then skated for 2 hours. Liv was a bit apprehensive at first, but within 20 minutes, she was skate-RUNNING around the rink and I was chasing to catch up with her haha. Let it be known that I managed to avoid falling by some stroke of luck.
Saturday morning, we had hotel room service while we got ready:
(they had banana almond meal pancakes that were fantastic)
and then caught a cab to the Museum of Natural History. This was my first time at this museum and I was blown away by the exhibits. The animals and dinosaurs were massive and we walked around for 2 hours, jaws on the floor pretty much the entire time. It was really cool to explain some parts of history to Liv that she hasn’t learned about in school yet, and I learned a lot of new facts surrounding cultures, animals, and their habitats. I’d definitely pop it in the “must-do” list for NYC with kids. (Note: I bought our tickets online in the cab on the way there and it was another easy way to skip out on the giant line to get in.)
We walked around in Central Park for a little while, and then caught a cab to the Gershin Theatre for Wicked.
Wicked is one of my favorite musicals of all-time and I was really hoping that Liv would love it. As soon as it ended, she told me she wanted to see it again. I’ve seen it maybe 8 times now and don’t ever think I’ll be sick of the story or the music, and I think that this Elphaba was my favorite one.
Here’s a little video of her singing for morning enjoyment.
youtube
(Fun Broadway tidbit: I went to high school with Ben who’s the phantom on Broadway and was in a couple of shows with Sean who’s starring in Beetlejuice. He was Captain Hook when we did Peter Pan and I was a male pirate— a glimpse into the future for how our respective acting careers would transpire lol.)
After Wicked, we were ready for dinner, so we walked over to Don Antonio’s for the best pizza of our lives. They make legit Napoli-style wood-fired pizza, and the gluten-free pizza was like REAL PIZZA: doughy and briny and perfect.
Liv loved the margherita pizza and we also shared a fresh salad with arugula, balsamic, and tomatoes.
During dinner, we talked about how much we loved the show and both agreed we wanted to see another one. So, we ran down to TKTS and got cheap 5th-row seats for Frozen. I felt very similarly about Frozen as I did to Aladdin (not on my personal “must watch” list but really wanted to pick shows Liv would be into) and ended up loving it. They also had some small twists to the story and the cast was fantastic.
We walked around Times Square, enjoying the commotion and the lights, and came back to the hotel around 11.
Monday morning, we caught our flight back to Tucson! It was a whirlwind of a trip – and we really only had two full days there! – but I think we absolutely lived it up. The best part: Liv is already begging the Pilot to let us move out there.
It would be pretty easy for him to fly out of LGA or JFK, just sayin’.
I thought I’d share two things that made this trip way easier:
– This inflatable booster seat. While I wouldn’t use this for daily transportation, it’s perfect for traveling. Let it be known that I’m the person that sucks at blowing up balloons (it takes me like 20 years), but I could inflate this in 20 seconds. It gave Liv the perfect little boost in the taxi to and from the airport and also to and from the museum on Sunday. Since I had it with us, it also made the perfect booster seat for our shows on Sunday. (They offer boosters to the kiddos but they go quickly for matinees. It was convenient to have our own!) It folds up and fits in your backpack, and I just carried it in our shopping bag that day.
– These boots. (Most similar one is here!) Easy Spirit reached out to see if I’d like a pair of shoes. I usually delete or decline free product offers because I feel like it’s wasteful and sometimes brands request multiple posts about their $20 salad spinner or whatever and I’d rather just buy and share what I like… but I thought these were cute for winter. Most of my boots aren’t very comfortable for all-day walking, are too fancy, or too high. I ended up wearing these every day we were there, fresh out of the box, and no breaking them in. (Yes, a risky move.) I liked that they were cute enough to wear to a show, but comfortable enough to walk around in all day, and didn’t give me a single blister. Wins all around.
(with these jeans, this jacket <— on sale, and this sweater)
(with these jeans and similar sweater)
I really enjoyed a special weekend with Liv and had such a wonderful time with her; something I’ll always remember. I think NYC is still a bit too much walking for P and the shows might have been a tad long for her. Also, since her eardrum ruptured she can’t fly again for a couple more weeks.
She had the best weekend with the Pilot and it was fun that they got to spend some time together. He took her to Chuck E Cheese, jumping at Get Air, to a birthday party, and to Friendsgiving at Kyle and Meg’s house. I missed that little goose so much!!
Now we’re back in town with the fam and I’m starting to get pumped for Thanksgiving. This morning, I’m off to tackle my exploding inbox and get some work stuff done before a fun crafting party with friends.
Have a wonderful day and I’ll see ya soon!
xo

A Hard Lesson in Matrimony: Chapter 5
Authors’ Note: Happy Saturday, lovely readers! What do Rafael and Natalia have in store for the recently reunited bride-to-be and her groom? Read on to find out! @vintagemichelle91 and I hope that you enjoy!!!
“Well there goes my plans for the bachelor party.”
Rafael met the detective in a small hotel lobby on three hours sleep with a weary smile.
“You sure you’re up for this?” Fin asked.
“Nothing a gallon of coffee can’t cure.”
“So… it’s any other Saturday.”
“Precisely.”
Except for the fact that they were putting on a wedding on one night’s notice. Natalia’s keen eyes had spied the final piece to the puzzle just off the beach. A true-blue castle converted into a theatre. His wife abandoned any modesty at the portal and convinced a curious cast and crew to let them use the space for the spontaneous celebration.
“And that’s all you had to do to swing this?” Fin inquired.
“There might have been a promise of some pro bono work if any of the actors ever need it.”
“Hell I’d pay to see that.”
Fin chuckled as Rafael found the first hit of caffeine courtesy of the so-called continental breakfast before Rollins appeared, huffing as she negotiated a huge garment bag through the revolving glass door.
“Need some help there, Rollins?” Fin asked.
“Leave it to Maggie to pick this dress,” Rollins said as Carisi entered, holding nothing in his hands.
“You couldn’t pick up the slack?” Rafael asked.
“He’s too busy looking for landmarks,” Rollins said as she sank into an abandoned chair. “The rest of it is in the car.”
“I swear I’ve been here before,” Carisi said as Rollins begged two bellboys to head out for the other dresses.
“How about you save the déjà vu for another day,” Rafael remarked.
“At least Maggie gets her fairy tale wedding…castle and all….”
His voice drifted off as Fin snagged a paltry plate of eggs and toast from the breakfast spread and Rollins glanced up.
“Problem?” she asked Carisi.
“We got a menu for the reception or what?”
Damn. Rafael realized that they had no caterer. Maybe the restaurant from the previous night? If the staff wanted to see any one of them ever again?
“No worries, counselor,” Carisi said. “I have an idea.”
“And I’m just tired enough to let you run with it.”
He took off, greeting Alessia and Lucia as they passed through the door with the littlest members of the wedding party in tow.
“Papi!” Violetta squealed as she happily ran into her father’s open arms. “I so excited!”
“I know,” he said.
“Can I see the castle?”
“Well the actors are rehearsing…”
Fin arched an eyebrow as Rafael narrowed his eyes.
“Multi-taskers,” he said. “It’ll be ready by this afternoon.”
“I wanna see!” Violetta insisted.
The coffee would have to wait.
“We’ll come with,” Liv said, stepping off the elevator and taking Noah by the hand.
“Don’t you have to get ready?” Rafael asked.
“How long do you think it takes to put on a dress?”
His mind flashed back to Valentine’s Day and a series of undergarments when he let the subject drop with a slight shrug. Walking across the beach and turning a corner, Violetta gasped at the sight of the stone structure shrouded in trees, statuesque lions that looked like they could come to life with a wish standing guard.
“You like it, muñequita?” Rafael asked. Violetta nodded as they made their way around the back and came into contact with a cast of Cinderella on a break before the unexpected matinee.
“Papi, the fairy godmother puffing out smoke!” Violetta seemed horrified by the woman wearing a frilly blue dress pulling on a cigarette. Rafael gently lowered Violetta’s little finger.
“Don’t point,” he said. “She’s… casting a spell.”
“Really, Barba?” Liv asked. “Is that the best you can do?”
“Let me know when you educate Noah on the dangers of tobacco so I can bring Violetta to your class,” he whispered out of the side of his mouth as someone looking like a stepsister dipped into a brown paper bag.
“Oh no!” Violetta yelled as they saw more actors milling about the grounds with scripts in hand, drinking from soda cans while the stepsister devoured a breakfast sandwich and French fries. “This so not right!”
“Muñquita, todo esta bien,” Rafael said as she waved her arms in the air.
“But French fries not for castles!” she moaned. “Maggie need better than that to get married.”
And he had to hope that Carisi would prove as good as his word as they walked away from the scene.
“I tell you another thing,” Violetta continued.
“What’s that?” Liv asked.
“There better be no cigarettes when Maggie walks down the aisle.”
“See, Barba? Your daughter knows the score,” Liv laughed as she patted the little girl’s cheek and glanced at her watch.
“We better go see if Maggie needs some help.”
When they returned to the hotel, Noah bounded forward as soon as he saw the Chief.
“You two okay?” Rafael asked.
“We will be,” Liv answered. “It’s what you do when you love someone, right?”
Or go without sleep to make sure that her sister had her heart’s desire.
“Atticus… how do I look?”
After donning the tux his mother brought, Rafael saw Natalia leaving the small room serving as the bridal quite in a blush pink, single shouldered chiffon gown. Her honey-colored waves cascaded down her back and her gorgeous eyes seemed a little brighter. She looked as if she stepped out of one of Violetta’s fairy tale books, and Rafael’s heart skipped a beat as he smiled.
“Hermosa, eres la mas bella,” he replied sincerely as he swept her into his arms, savoring the softness of the fabric, her sweet vanilla scent surrounding his senses. Along with her sigh.
“You are too kind.” She cupped his face and bestowed a chaste kiss on his lips. “I don’t know what I did in my past life to deserve you.” Smoothing out his lapels, she laughed. “But thank you.”
“It cuts both ways. You are everything to me,” he replied, brushing his fingers through her hair. “And you look even lovelier when you smile.”
“I’m incredibly happy right now,” she whispered on the back of another kiss.
“Because weddings make everything better.”
“And you make things best of all.”
Holding her close, his mind flashed back their wedding, to her grinning in a gondola as Violetta fed the birds from the palm of her hand.
“After this I think we’ve earned another getaway,” he mused. “I miss Venice… I miss us in Venice.”
“You’re reading my mind. I was thinking the same thing.”
“So soon?” he asked.
“Let Maggie have her honeymoon first,” Natalia said as she traced his lips with her fingertips.
“Fine,” he agreed. “But you asked me a question there. One of these days I’m going to make good.”
“Meaning?” she asked.
“Meaning that I’m going to marry you all over again, mi hermosa flor.”
“I am going to hold you to that,” she said. “But today…”
Natalia pointed towards the door, and Rafael straightened his cuff links.
“Right. Last thing we need is a runaway bride.” Rafael stole one last kiss from her lips and entered the room.
“Oh… wow…”
Standing before the mirror, Maggie turned her head, blushing through her veil in a flowing skirt.
“Is that a good wow?” she nervously asked.
“Maggie, you look absolutely stunning.” His eyes remained on her as he closed the door behind him.
“You really think so?” Before he could respond, she flung the veil from her face, her big doe-eyes widening as her breath came quickly and she pressed her hands to the bodice of her dress.
“Let’s get you some air.” Rafael gently moved her towards the open window and pushed the curtain aside.
“Thanks,” she murmured as she took the pocket square from his suit.
“You’re nervous.”
“Excellent observation, counselor,” Maggie sniffed.
“Remember, it’s what I do,” he pointed out with a smirk. Maggie sighed and looked out the window to the beach.
“This is really it,” she said.
“No second thoughts I hope.”
He feared that he spoke to soon when she nodded her head.
“Maggie, you don’t have anything to---”
“Do you think I will be a good wife?” she asked.
“Of course you will. What would make you think otherwise?”
“Ingrid,” she continued. “It’s like she’s in my head. Criticizing my every move. My mother’s there do.”
“No one’s going to bring you down today,” he promised.
“How can you be so sure?”
Taking her hand, trying to keep it from trembling, he gazed into her dewy eyes.
“Because you’re a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul,” he started. “Because you love with your whole heart. Take it from an old, married man. That’s the best thing.”
“That’s Natty’s thing,” Maggie said as she dabbed her eyes.
“Now it’s going to be yours.”
Staring out at the beach again, Maggie looked to her engagement ring and bowed her head.
“I just… maybe it sounds silly but I’ve always dreamed of this day.”
“Not silly at all.”
“I read Violetta these fairy tales. Sometimes I think I like them even more than she does.”
“This is going to be so much more, Maggie. Because the ending is unwritten. Believe me; it’s much better not knowing what comes on the next page. Just letting it wash over you in wondrous waves.”
Leaning back, Maggie giggled and took his hands.
“You know you could have been a poet,” she teased.
“Today I just want to get you to the church on time,” he joked back.
“Castle,” she corrected.
“Yes. So much more fitting for a princess.”
Offering his arm, he was taken aback when she hugged him close.
“You really are an okay guy, counselor.”
“And I’m proud to call you my sister.”
Even though I can be a handful?” she challenged as he tilted his head. “Alright alright. Maybe a little more.”
“We wouldn’t want you any other way,” he assured her. “Neither would Mike.”
Leading her towards the door, Rafael readjusted her veil with a smile.
“So are we doing this?” he asked. Maggie grabbed her bouquet and took a deep breath.
“Yes, let’s go… I’m ready, Rafael.”

Dude, would you mind translating Loke's 'Allt du är' into English when you have the time? I couldn't find a translation online (don't feel obliged to though, I totally understand if you can't/don't want to lol)
You’re breathing pretty quietly Ithink you finally fell asleepTears make you sleepy, don’t they? Both you and all the candles in myroom has burned outThey burned out when they burned themost and you did the same
You’re lying in my bed with the comforterpulled up over your chinLike you’ve done so many hangoverdaysAmong familiar smells betweenfamiliar sheetsAs though we ever were a couple
And here I’m lying on the floor onan unmade mattressOutside the stars are dancing on theroofsJust now the air was moisty warm, now it’s cold and sharpAnd you’re asleep. I am inexorablyawake
And the blanket I have above mefeels justly short and thinWhen I think about the words I heardcoming out of my mouth
That I love your eyes, I love yourvoiceI love your almost nonexistent breastsAnd I love when you wake up and aresulky and dizzyIn t-shirt and panties and fuck hairAnd your childish thefts of myattentionYour self-destructive generosityYour criminal, suicidally dangerousway of drivingAnd I love your “young and singlegirl in the big city”-styleThat you use expressions and famousquotesThat coke light and popcorn is yourfave drink and foodAnd that you answer something elsewhen one asks how you’re doingI love that you laugh when you walk
But despite all this love there willnever be you and meI only love all that you are… butnot you
You got here shortly beforemidnight, yeah you usually do thatLike usual I got happy that you cameYou walked as usual into theapartment without knockingBut you said “There’s something I wantto talk about
I kind of ache, yeah it dances, spins aroundI don’t really know what it isMaybe it’s like it usually is that I’mtalking nonsenseBut I’m almost starting to think I’min love
And I know it’s completely out ofphase with what we’ve saidWith independence and distanceYeah, I’m maybe fucking everythingup now, I do that a lotBut don’t you think we have achance?”
And there you stood and looked atme, so cold and wonderfulAnd there I sat and stuttered out myterrible answer
That I love when you come over andwe sleep in late on purposeI love that your skin is unnaturallywhiteAnd I love every time you forced meout in the cityEvery failed attempt you’ve made atbecoming a vegetarianAnd your unending badgering abouthow fun it is with raveI love when we play PJ Harvey andNick CaveThat you always have to stomp inevery puddleAnd that you get drunk on just fourmedium-strength beerI love your impossible brilliantideasThat you cry when we’re hangover andwatching Disney-matineesYeah I even love your GöteborgdialectI get that it would have beenperfectSo can you imagine how fuckingstupid it feels to say no,To just love all that you are butnot you
It couldn’t be stopped, it was likea volcanoYou tensed, you shuddered, you burstLike a wounded wolf or a dying swanYou grabbed me and didn’t let go
You fell down on your knees, youheaved yourself up on your toesAnd you screamed something thatcouldn’t be heardWith a drowning person’s despair yourefused to listen toEverything I want to whisper in yourear right then
I love when you touch me and whenyou’re hereI hate more than anything that I can’tfall in loveI wish more than anything that therewere alternativesTo this tired, barren, bitter wasteof lifeBut I have to ascertain, fuck itfeels overwhelming,What I loved about us love hasdestroyedBecause I have no shot of giving youwhat you want from meI just love all that you are, I loveall that you do,I love all that you are……. But notyou

Liv is on as Cleves for today’s matinee, but afaik Lexi is back for good and will be performing during the evening
The state of things are a little confusing: Zara should be back and performing but Liv went on for Cleves for some reason. I can only guess it’s because she’s been doing Cleves for the past several shows so they might as well call her in. I assumed the standby swings were last resort only (but hey, I’m not complaining about more standby swing performances)

Cast for August 7, 2021 - London
8/06 MAT - Collette!Aragon, Hana!Seymour, Bryony!Seymour, Cherelle!Parr
8/06 EVE - Collette!Aragon, [Bryony]!Seymour, Liv!Cleves, Danielle!Parr
Bryony Duncan is apparently making her surprise Seymour debut today during the matinee! It is unclear at the moment where Hana or Liv are, as they would logically go on before Bryony would. It also seems that Cherelle is taking over Parr after Danielle called out last minute despite returning to the show yesterday; lots of questions for today’s chaos.
In addition to the two last minute cast changes, it is also unknown if Hana will be performing as Seymour tonight; will update with more info as soon as it’s clear.
EDIT 1: It looks like Bryony will also be doing the Evening show and Liv will be performing as Cleves, which explains why Liv isn’t on as Seymour. Still not sure why Hana’s out, but Danielle does seem to be back as Parr for the evening.
