Most of us in Cabin 5 didn't feel like roleplaying with the rest of the server so we held our own private game of Never Have I Ever. It was...enlightening.

@littlemissartemisia I had to draw little Mage Misa from this ask with Wizard Don. I can't stop drawing her. She's just so cute and so little.

I didn’t know where to put her little scepter but let’s just pretend that they’re going on a journey to get it back TTRPG style.

I still firmly believe Don would be an Artificer instead of a Wizard in any DND-like game. You know he’d probably get something made just to blow someone up. (So he’d be just as dangerous as a wizard with a fireball spell ready.)

Mike - a late-twenties mutant ninja turtle - grinned, swinging the cabin door wide open. "Heck yeah, kiddo! I got some nephews over here that would absolutely love plushies, if you're sharing. I think you'd make some buddies for life."

Through the doorway and to the right was a bed, messily made, with a trunk on the end and a halfway unzippered duffel bag dropped on top. It was clear the owner either was too busy to keep things neat or just didn't care. Beside the bed was a small table with a blanket and pillow loosely forming some sort of… nest? The curve or spikes of a few small shells were just visible over the edge.

Mike pursed his lips and let out a slightly uncertain sounding whistle-chirping noise, and out from the nest poked four little heads. The largest, a snapping turtle, raised a hand and signed a friendly, "Hello!"

"Okay guys, the lovely little miss Misa here has some toys for you. Can you help me pick them out?"

Lee jumped on the first blue one he saw, cuddling so intently with it that Mike didn't bother offering anything else for inspection. El, on the other hand, was determined to hug every single plushie before settling on one. Dee's inspections were a little more wary, sniffing most and daring to gently stroke a few as though testing the texture, but he eventually chose as well. Mike held up several in front of the face of the youngest, Angie, rubbing the soft plush against his cheeks until Angie flexed his little claws and grabbed onto a particularly big one with a cracking, squeaking yawn.

"Aww, look at 'em," Mike said affectionately, smile growing soft and sappy at the edges. "Thanks a bunch. That was really nice of you."

Misa held up her plushie collection towards him.

Mike blinked, expression dropping in surprise for a fraction of a second before coming back a thousand watts brighter. "Me too? Why, miss Misa, you shouldn't have."

His gaze wandered over to an orange turtle plushie, which he picked up after a moment. He ran his fingers along the soft, minky shell, back and forth and back and forth, then turned it over in his hand to rub the smooth satiny plastron. He tapped his toes, twisting his torso a bit, turning the plushie around and around and running his fingers along it repeatedly. He seemed genuinely very happy as he walked her out the door, bowing to her with a flourish like a very fancy butler. "Thanks again! So much! Feel free to come back and visit."

(He kept rubbing the soft, soft fabric.)

"Hey, a kid!" Leo chirped excitedly. "Just like me! Whoa, these are pretty!!" He hopped around the stand.

April was also impressed by the display. "Wow, you really went all out, huh. These are gorgeous! Can we both have one, or is it one per group?"

This was actually kinda fun to do. I can confirm that throughout the time I was making this, I was listening to CG5’s Sleep Well track.

Don’t ask me why, but it just felt like it fits, especially the lines “Though life in the shadows isn’t much / It’s better than living in a cage.” I was gonna fit the lyrics in but decided not to since it would’ve messed with the stars. (First time I ever switched between different brushes actually. It’s nice.)

The whole song and premise of the Hour of Joy in Poppy Playtime does fit multiple OCs backstories like Isabella, Velia, Attilio, etc/any OC that’ll be an easter egg. (I might just end up tossing Misa somewhere in the future of my 2k3 AU mostly because I’ve been hearing Velia/mama rat saying “You four look an awful lot like the little one we rescued.” And the guys just go see what she’s talking about.)
