This not so rare genetic difference has been some of the best luck our family has ever received. 🍀 Blake having Down Syndrome has been the most challenging blessing for all of us🍀 He has a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism specifically with a dash of sensory issues. His neurodiversity, behaviors, lack of speech and motor challenges had me constantly chasing that pot of gold, the magic that will “help him”. Turns out he is exactly the way he should be. The rainbow we all should be chasing is the one that shines a light on differences and the celebration of them. Without diverse and different colors the rainbow would cease to exist.
