Ah esto llamo pequeños momentos felices en la cuarentena. ♥️♥️ Por fin me llego mi tan buscado y añorado libro Serendipity gracias a @libroslunade Y bueno seguimos con el conteo de dolls #3 y 4 ~mis little apple dolls. Una original, otra replica. Mi madre me regalo la replica porque no le sabíamos y yo quería una. La original me la tope en una venta de garage... Si a veces tengo suerte en esas ventas, pero le falta sus calcetas y bonett, lo malo es que la original esta manchada por la ropa negra, siempre pasa eso con las dolls de vinil, así que si tienes una y no le quitas la ropa, muy posible este manchada. La historia decía que estas dolls cumplían deseos ya que eran espíritus de un limbo y traían una manzana 🍏... These cuties, they may seem creepy, but to me working at #hottopic once in life, omg, they were always on the shelf, only adults collecting #dolls truly understood the beauty of them. And my gawd, were they just that. These fragile artisticly and well crafted #Japanese #littleappledolls at the time being a teenager, I wasn't able to afford them, had I been able to I would have purchased all 3 from each series release. Imagine a porcelain doll that was affordable to little girls and boys who wanted to start a more original collection like grandma and grandpa. These were not for the faint of heart, because their back stories were #sad #traumatic and #morbid and each doll had a story to tell. Just like you and myself. If you didn't understand the beauty of these perfectly made dolls, you weren't worthy of owning one. I was recently looking them up, thinking maybe now as an adult with a stable job, I could buy one... well, the prices vary from 30.oo-500.oo bucks... So so sad, especially if they have been mistreated in the home they were brought into. As a collector of dolls and toys, it breaks my heart. And in that conclusion, I say farewell and hope that I've brought a new light to your dim collection. This time last year, to celebrate London Pride we posted a colourful photo set of two dolls on their way to the march. Everyone responded in such a positive way. The enquiries asking after these characters was overwhelming! At the time, we said the only way we would release them was if we could donate the profits to a charity or organisation that supports our LGBTQIA+ communities...and we have done just that! Mosaic LGBT is a youth centre based in London that educates young people by providing peer suppport and networking through summer camps, winter camps school work and mentoring programs... And we are pleased to say proceeds from the sales of the 'PRIDE of Little Apple Dolls' characters will be donated to Mosaic Youth Centre!
