Hi bug! I’m asking in anon bc it’s a bit of a sensitive subject for me to discuss but could you possibly write something about Eddie and reader being close(hopefully turning into lovers) and he sees her self harm scars for the first time and she is really embarrassed and tries to just stop speaking to him but he finally catches her alone and it turns into soft smut? I feel like your writing would do a story like this justice, but if it’s a heavy subject and you don’t want to write about it I understand ❤️
Hi! I kept the premise but changed a few details. I hope that's okay.
Warnings: smut (18+ only, minors DNI), fingering, unprotected p in v, mentions of self-harm (cutting) but no descriptions of blood or the act itself, parental conflict, Reader celebrates Christmas, angst to fluffy smut WC: 2.5k A/N: This fic is not meant to romanticize or promote self-harm of any kind. This is a comfort fic where the reader-insert character has a history of self-harm. That being said, if this subject matter is triggering for you, please keep scrolling. Sending all of you love, always.
Divider credit to @strangergraphics
“Okay, first we need two and a half cups of flour.”
Eddie wrinkled his nose when you handed him the measuring cup and a butter knife.
“So you can scrape off the excess,” you explained.
Your boyfriend scoffed and plunked the knife onto the countertop. “Have you ever heard of guesstimating, Sweetheart?”
“There’s no guesstimating in baking, Eds.” You dragged the bag of all-purpose flour away from him before he could ruin the recipe. “Everything has to be precise.”
He rolled his eyes. “Yes, dear,” he grumbled. But there was no missing the smile playing on his lips.
Spending time with Eddie wasn’t new; you’d known each other since he’d moved to Hawkins as a kid. The friendship had survived the ups and downs of junior high and high school, not to mention the years you were away at college.
What was new was the romantic relationship that had only developed six months ago. Now, Eddie was your boyfriend. Your regular movie nights ended in heated make-out sessions rather than nervous hugs goodbye. Eddie held your hand while you walked rather than playing air guitar. And your sleepovers often involve much less clothing than before.
It was different, but it was nice.
“Can you hand me the cream of tartar?” You asked him, holding out your palm.
“The what?” Eddie’s eyes widened. “Isn’t that the stuff you dip fish sticks in?”
You snorted. “No, that’s tartar sauce. Cream of tartar is a spice that will give the snickerdoodles a little tang.”
Strong, tattooed arms wrapped around you and pulled you toward him, his lips finding the crook of your neck in an instant, sending a shiver of pleasure down your spine.
“How about I give you a little tang?” Eddie’s words vibrated against your skin.
It took all of your willpower to focus on the task at hand and not give in. “I’m about to ban you from my kitchen.” You pinched some flour between your fingers and flicked it at him. It dusted his chin and the U-neck collar of his Metallica t-shirt.
Eddie gasped in mock-offense, reaching over and taking a handful of flour. Before you could protest, he opened his fist just above your head. The powder plopped onto your scalp and cascaded down your cheeks.
“Gotta go!” He bolted from the kitchen, nearly flinging himself up and over the counter.
You were fast on his trail, knocking over the yellow-and-white box of granulated sugar. It toppled off of the counter and landed on its side with a thud, leaving a crystalline trail in its wake.
“Dammit.” With an exasperated sigh, you rolled up your sleeves and cupped your hand, brushing the spilled sugar into your other palm.
It was suddenly too quiet—and not the kind of quiet that preceded a prank. The only sound came from the thunk of the trash can lid as you dumped the wasted sugar into the bag.
Eddie froze, his widening eyes the sole movement across his lithe body.
“Sweetheart…are those…?”
You follow his gaze to the thin lines along your wrist. Most had faded over time and were ones he had seen before, but there were a few new scars that you’d forgotten about.
“You’re…you’re still doing…that?” Eddie’s voice was laced with palpable nervousness, but there wasn’t an ounce of disgust. It might have been easier if there was; you were disgusted that you’d relapsed into self-harm, even if it was just once.
No, this was genuine concern and love.
“I…” You struggled to find the words, feeling like the teenager you were when you’d first cut yourself. Now you’re an adult–an adult who’s supposed to have better, healthier coping mechanisms–yet after a conversation with your mother led to an argument, you’d turned back to old habits.
Eddie took your hands in his. The slight tremble broke your heart into a million pieces and filled each crack with shame.
His thumb grazed over the new marks, careful not to reopen the wound. “When did you do this? W-Why did you…?”
“I don’t know.”
A flicker of frustration sparked in his deep brown eyes at your lie, a silent plea for your honesty.
And so you shoved that shame aside, your body caving into his as you told him everything, starting with the phone call from your mother.
You’d tried to explain that you were splitting Christmas between their place and Wayne’s, and since Eddie’s uncle worked the night shift, you’d go over to his trailer in the morning and your parents’ house in the evening.
A solid compromise as you navigated the balance of your relationship with Eddie.
Or so you thought.
Because the moment you laid out your plans, Mom was blubbering about the family tradition of opening presents on Christmas morning and how it won’t be the same and why is Wayne working on Christmas, anyway?
You didn’t have the energy to break down the older man’s finances—not that it was her business—but it didn’t matter. Mom already began tossing around terms like ungrateful and disrespectful.
Suddenly, you were no longer an adult in an apartment of your own. You were a teenager trapped under your parents’ roof with nowhere to go, no way to escape the chaos.
You couldn’t stop apologizing—to your mom then, and to Eddie now. Tears streamed down your cheeks, drawing hot rivulets over your skin.
But with Eddie, there was no disgruntled huff and abrupt end to the conversation. He grabbed a tissue, wiping at your eyes and beneath your nose.
“You could’ve called me,” he said. “I would’ve been over in a heartbeat. You didn’t need to do this.”
You shook your head. This was beyond him, and he knew it, too.
You didn’t realize that your eyes had glazed over, that your rumination had taken hold and kept you locked inside your brain, until Eddie spoke again.
“Look at me.”
You blinked, allowing yourself to re-enter the space. When the haze of anxiety began to clear, you felt his touch before you saw his face. His hand was noticeably warm and sweat-slicked, forefinger tucked up under your chin as he lifted it. Whatever stray tears remained on your face trickled down, sneaking into the crevices of his rings.
“Please don’t hurt yourself anymore.” The tip of his tongue swiped over his lower lip. With utmost tenderness, he leaned his forehead against yours. His exhale tickled your own nose. “Please just tell me when you’re sad or mad or…or anything.”
And then you were fourteen once again, confessing to Eddie the real reason why you only wore long-sleeved shirts while he stood there helplessly, nearly dropping the can of Chef Boyardee in the middle of Wayne’s kitchen. Though you were a decade older now, Eddie’s face fell the same way it had in 1980. Confusion and defeat warred for prominence, his brows knit together and his shoulders slumped.
“You can’t fix me,” you said finally.
“I know. Because you’re not broken.” Eddie’s hands fell to your wrists, gingerly clutching them. “A little battered, but not broken.”
He meant it, though you didn’t know how. Besides the physical scars on your wrists, you carried a world of pain on your shoulders. You were buried in the weight of inferiority and the inability to measure up to expectations.
Eddie sensed your hesitation to believe him. “I love you,” he said softly. “I loved you when we were seven and you gave me a Band-Aid after I fell off of my bike. I loved you when we were thirteen and you used the peanut butter from your sandwich to get Tommy Hagan’s gum out of my hair.
“I loved you when we were eighteen and you went off to college, but you still called me every Thursday night. I loved you when we were twenty-four and I finally asked you out, and you kissed me before I could finish my sentence.” He took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling through his t-shirt. “And I’ll never stop loving you. So, please…please don’t hurt yourself again.”
You nodded, hoping it was a promise you could keep. Hoping that this was just a slip-up and not the beginning of a full-blown relapse.
Exhaustion fell over you as your tears slowed. “I should probably clean myself off.” You shook your head for emphasis, some of the remaining flour clouding as it fell.
“Let me help.”
Eddie followed behind you, just watching as you picked out the residue over the bathroom sink. The yellow-tinged vanity lighting emphasized the worry that he wore like a mask.
You turned to him. “I’m okay,” you said with a timid smile. “It was just a one-time thing. I swear.”
His tone was firm when he spoke. “But if it isn’t—if you want to do it again or think about doing it again—you need to tell me.” He pressed a gentle kiss to your lips. “I won’t run away. I’m right here.”
You melted into him, flour-coated scalp be damned, and wrapped your arms around him. “I promise.”
“Good.” A small relief, but relief nonetheless.
Your fingers tangled in the soft cotton of his t-shirt. “It’s like my brain gets too loud, and I can’t shut it off sometimes.” You swallowed, not able to look at him yet. “But sometimes it helps when I…when I think about you. About how safe I feel with you.”
He brushed flour from your shirt collar. You could tell that he wanted to say something despite the ensuing quiet. Yet he just shoved his hands into his pockets and walked back out to the kitchen wordlessly.
It wasn’t until that evening, laying in bed with one tattooed arm wrapped around your waist, that Eddie posed the question that had been sitting on his lips since the afternoon.
“You feel safe with me?”
You rolled over to face him. “Of course. You’re, like, my safe place.”
Eddie held you tighter. “You’re my safe place, too.” He pressed a soft kiss to your nose. “And maybe I’m a little selfish because of it, but I really need you around. Okay?”
Even in the darkness, you could see his eyes shining with worry and fear. That he would wake up without you. That you’d be gone when he least expected it.
“I never meant to scare you,” you promised, your voice a whisper even though it was only the two of you. “I wasn’t…”
I wasn’t thinking about you, you almost said. Not that you didn’t care about him—your mind was too occupied with Mom’s stinging words to think of anything else. Of anyone else—including Eddie.
His reassurance came swiftly. “I know,” he said. “And I want you to know that you deserve to be happy. You deserve not to worry about anyone else’s bullshit. Even your mom’s.”
Eddie took your hand, lifted one scarred wrist to his lips, and kissed it. There was a slight sting from the newer cut, but it disappeared as quickly as it presented.
“You deserve to be happy,” he continued, kissing another scar. “You deserve to live a life where you know that no one is worth hurting yourself over.”
You brought your arm back to your side and shifted even closer to him. Your nose bumped his when you leaned in to kiss him, eliciting a giggle from both you and Eddie.
“Sorry—” You started to apologize, but his hands flew to your cheeks as he kissed you harder. His tongue flicked over the seam of your lips, asking for entry that you granted without a second thought.
“God, I fuckin’ love your laugh.” Eddie shook a rogue curl from his eyes. Instinctively, his leg slotted between yours. It was only when you ground your core against his flannel-clad thigh that he realized what he’d done.
He moved back an inch, though that one leg stayed in place. “Baby, we don’t—I know today’s been a lot. I’m fine kissing you, y’know?”
“I know.”
“You don’t have to do anything for me. I’m a big boy; I can jerk off in the bathroom if you’re not in the mood—”
You were tired, but an invisible thread inside you had been tugged, awakening an ache that only Eddie could quell.
“I know,” you repeated. “I want this, too. I…I need it, Eddie.”
His teeth grazed your neck. “What do you need?” He growled, a primal edge in his tone.
“I need you to show me I’m safe.”
With those words, you let go of the control you clutched like a precious stone. The relief would be temporary—everything in this world was—but you felt the burden ease with each article of your clothing that Eddie removed. You could have floated, your body weightless, when he kissed each millimeter of your skin. Even the parts you preferred to keep hidden.
His middle finger was what anchored you to reality. It found your clit, rubbing circles on it while his other hand gripped your hip.
Slowly, torturously, his finger inched inside you, drawing a shuddering breath from your lips.
“S’good?” He looked down at you, waiting for confirmation. “Do you need more?”
More. More sounded perfect, and you told him so.
There’s no teasing tonight. Eddie didn’t make you beg before he slipped his ring finger inside you, curling both fingers to stroke that sweet spot.
Your back arched, taking him in deeper. He obliged, murmuring your name and sweet praises as he touched you.
“There you go.”
“So good for me.”
“That’s it.”
“You’re gorgeous like this.”
Wetness slickened his fingers and dripped down onto the bedsheet. He let go of your hip for a second to palm himself over his pajama pants, stopping only when you reach for him.
“Eds.” You tried not to pout when he paused his ministrations. “Y-You can…”
With a quick nod, Eddie shucked off his clothes and tossed them to the carpeted floor. They landed with a plop, a noise drowned out by his moan when he pressed his erection against you.
Safe. With Eddie, you were safe.
Your breath hitched as he entered you; it was a fullness that felt so natural yet like each time was the first.
Eddie groaned as your fingers dug into his back, reveling in the mutual desire. He braced his forearms on either side of you, caging in your head.
“Eyes on me,” he ordered. “There’s nothing else. Just us, okay?”
“‘Kay.” There was no time to say anything else; he leaned down and kissed you, moaning into it with unbridled need.
If the alarm clock on your nightstand wasn’t counting the minutes, you would have sworn that time was suspended. Each thrust, each kiss, each murmur of your name was a second and a day.
Eddie’s lips brushed your ear. He whispered, “you’re so beautiful,” sending an arrow of need straight to your core. “My sweet, beautiful girl.”
“Yours,” you agreed in a whimper. You wrapped your legs around him, pulling him in further, as pleasure washed over you. It claimed him a moment later, his face buried in your neck.
When the sun rises, your scars will once again be visible. And the lingering sadness and frustration won’t have completely dissipated.
But you’ll handle it. With Eddie by your side, you’ll power through until getting through each day is no longer a chore.
You’re safe.

A Metaphor for Nothing in Particular :)
Me: Hi, I’d like to order one bowl of Bram Seafood’s famous lobster bisque, please.
Chef Francis, handing me a smoked salmon: Here you go.
Me: I think there’s been a mix-up. I wanted a lobster bisque.
Chef Francis: Yes. And it is.
Me: This is a smoked salmon. Probably exactly the sort of thing that someone who wanted a smoked salmon would enjoy. But it is not a lobster bisque.
Chef Francis: Well, it’s my adapted and updated sexy version of a lobster bisque. Everyone loves it! And all critics agree that my patented Bram Seafood’s Lobster Bisque © ™ is the most authentic re-imagining of the original recipe ever. Therefore it is lobster bisque.
Me: Have any of these critics actually tasted lobster bisque, let alone the one written out and cooked by Bram Seafood, prior to your ‘adaptation?’
Chef Francis: Why would that matter?
Me: …Are there any other chefs who specialize in lobster bisque here?
Chefs Alan, Kim and J.S.: We do! And we’re professionals in the same field Bram Seafood worked in. You can trust our renditions to be utterly faithful to his recipe.
Me: Chef Alan, you appear to have handed me a medley where every single part has been already chewed and vomited out before being set on fire. I’m impressed that you got the scallops to remain preserved enough to look like a pair of breasts spilling out of a corset. Chef Kim, this is just an elaborately arranged turd in the shape of a lobster surrounded by smaller turds in the shape of other crustaceans. Chef J.S. this is a bowl of dishwater with the soap film used to spell out I HATE LOBSTER BISQUE on top.
Chefs Alan, Kim, and J.S.: What? No, these are lobster bisques. But edgier.
Chef Stephen: Pfft. Amateur hour. My lobster bisque is the freshest, sexiest, edgiest, coolest, specialest lobster bisque ever devised!
Chef NBC: Not as sexy-fresh-edge-cool as mine!
Me: Chef Stephen, I have eaten your work before. Some of your earliest collaborations were fantastic, but, like your takes on recipes by culinary artists Stevenson, Doyle, Newman, Webber, and Wilson, you have a habit of turning the entrée into strange food sculpture caricatures of your idealized snarky sexman fantasy self. As is the case here. Though it is impressive that you managed to make this calamari plate seem to make out with…I think it’s a trout filleted in the shape of a nun? Chef NBC, you just gave me a Ken doll covered in tartar sauce.
Chefs Jessica and Blair: H—
Me: That is also a Ken doll covered in tartar sauce, the plate is just smaller.
Chef Showtime: Well, I have a full seafood platter that includes a lobster bisque!
Me: And it’s beautifully plated, very inventive. Sadly you have replaced all the lobster bisque ingredients with ones for--I’ll be honest, it looks like a much more elevated version of Chef Alan’s plate. Not a high bar, but kudos for the attempt. Also none of this appears to be seafood. This is all barbecue with seafood names attached.
Chef Tod poking his head out of the kitchen: Don’t bother with these youngsters. I had old Bram’s recipe open in front of me the whole time! Just spruced it up a little, nipped a dozen or so unnecessary ingredients.
Me, looking at Chef Tod’s plate of crabcakes, also labeled as lobster bisque: So you did. I can tell Chef Hammer took a lot of inspiration from you.
Chef Kiersten: Ugh, I see what the problem is here. I am so sorry you had to put up with these tryhards. Here, this is a proper lobster bisque.
Me: This is a bowl of nails and lipstick.
Chef Kiersten: No, it’s the lobster bisque as it really is. Rather, what it should have been! Bram Seafood’s lobster bisque was created in 1897, when every ingredient and recipe ever written was nothing but evil, hateful, small-minded, belittling tripe. I have rescued the sole redeemable ingredient from the entire recipe and elevated it to new heights!
Me: The. The lipstick?
Chef Kierstan: Yes! See, you can tell it’s from the original by how it’s surrounded only by icky awful conniving ingredients. And there’s a whole piece of a lobster shell in there.
Me: Did you. Ever try Bram's lobster bisque?
Chef Kierstan: Of course! I swished it around for the mouthfeel and immediately spat it out, as is right.
Me: Guys. I’m going to level with you here. Not a single one of the dishes you have labeled as or otherwise connected to lobster bisque has had even a passing resemblance to lobster bisque. Some of these meals, they look great at a distance. If you presented them to me without telling me what you’ve named them, I might have really, really enjoyed them as they were. But the fact is, I have been trying to order a helping of Bram Seafood’s lobster bisque—even just a lobster bisque inspired by his!—for years. And every time, I keep being brought entirely unrelated dishes which I can tell are not lobster bisque because I have, in fact, had Bram’s recipe before. The fact that you continue to insist that your recipes are Bram’s recipe does not alter the fact that These Are Not Actually Bram’s Recipe or Anything Even Close to It.
Please just call your recipes your own and, if you really want to work off of Bram's bisque, do it sincerely! As if you actually enjoy and respect what he made! Hell, look how far Chefs F.W. and Werner got with it next door. Sure, it’s a lobster tail and a gumbo, respectively, but they have so much of Bram’s work in every bite! And they actually worked off the foundation that he set down in his recipe, using it to support their creativity with the meals, rather than replacing every single ingredient and pretending they haven’t gutted Bram’s work to use it as a disguise to give their restaurant more pomp. Do you get what I’m saying?
Chef Robert: :3c
Me: Don’t.

dabihawks, sleep talking 💤
Honestly, when Dabi started sleeping with Hawks, it wasn’t with the mission in mind; he wanted to fuck the pretty blond, so he did.
But then he realized; the pretty blond talked in his sleep.
Jackpot.
At first it was mere little chitters and chatters, some (cute) bird noises and mumbling, but Dabi knew an opportunity when he heard one.
So he does his little research, aka he googles how to get people to talk in their sleep, and he gets to work.
One of the main tips is to talk quietly to the sleep talker, asking questions and the like, and so he prepares.
When the next night comes, Dabi is once again unable to sleep, and sooner rather than later, Hawks is chirping softly in his sleep.
Dabi clears his throat quietly, before he asks:
«Hey, Birdie?»
It’s quiet for a bit, but then Hawks unmistakenly chirps happily back at him and flaps his wings a little.
Fuck, why did he have to be so goddamn cute?!
Dabi goes with another test question.
«Hawks, where do you live?»
He can see the bird’s freckly face scrunch as he thinks in his sleep, before he relaxes into a smile.
«Where the tartar sauce grows,» he says softly, before humming affirmlingly and turning around.
…oh.
Well, maybe that was a fluke? After all, Dabi had just started trying this out.
So, a few night later, he’s ready once again.
As soon as Hawks starts mumbling in his sleep, Dabi’s on it.
«Keigo,» he says softly, hoping to reach deeper with his real name, but before he can get any further he gets interruped by the sleeping bird.
«There’s… something!» he says intensly, face twitching lightly.
Dabi leans in, curious beyond belife.
«What, Keigo?»
The sleepy bird mumbles a little before he gasps.
«In the closet! Something in the closet… like a cartoon turtle!»
Dabi bets his face is pretty priceless right then.
He can’t help but chuckle a little.
«So you’re just as useless in your sleep as you are awake then?»
he says softly as he places a kiss on the bird’s forehead.
It’s about a week later when Dabi is having another night of restless sleep, and an old nightmare wakes him up in a cold sweat.
Luckily, he can turn around and wrap his arms around the sleeping bird next to him, and as he buries his nose into the curly blond hair, he hears a soft chuckle coming from the blond.
«What’s funny?» Dabi asks, voice raspy with sleep, fully aware Keigo’s very much asleep.
«You’re so great, Dabs,» Keigo says lightly, and to his dismay Dabi feels his heart squeeze.
«Yeah… you have such a great antennae.»
It takes all the self control Dabi owns not to laugh out loud.
In stead, he kisses Keigo between his wings, and wraps his arms even tighter around his waist.
«Thank you, sweet bird,» he chuckles softly, and Keigo chirps happily.
While the whole plan to gather information didn’t work, Dabi’s still insanely grateful he realized his bird was a sleep talker when he did.
The only time Keigo ever revealed something critical was when he mumblingly told Dabi that he was very nervous to propose to him next week, which only made Dabi smile softly at the sleeping bird.
«Good thing I’m planning to go first then,» he says softly as he kisses his soon-to-be fiancé’s forhead.
Good thing, indeed.

Elimination Challenge: Ribs
Pairing: Simon "Ghost" Riley/Reader
Concepts about this
Top chefesque reality tv show
The next elimination challenge is a group challenge , which… sucks to say the least. You don’t work well in groups , you’re either too bossy, rubs people the wrong way and makes them not want to work with you anymore or you’re so passive that people think they can walk all over for the rest of the time they know you. Sadly, your passive on this challenge and you knew this challenge was going to shit when the protein they wanted to use was fucking ribs. You're not sure what people’s obsession is with using ribs which everyone knows it takes 6 hours just to brine that they can make in 2 hours and it will take long. To make it even worse it's your dish , you were on protein with one other chef who thinks he's hot shit because he was nominated for a James Beard Award.
At Judges Table, that mfer throws you under the bus. Hard.
“Well she made the sauce and the dry rub , I made the garnish and the side for the dish” You nod because that is true , you can feel it from a miles away that hes going to shift the blame on you , he side glances at you and sighs like it pains him to say and then says “ I thought that ribs were a bold choice but she mentioned that she makes a great sauce for ribs and made it seem that was the end of it” , you freeze , not really understanding what is happening but you think your getting thrown under the bus.
Then you get pissed , your about to let him have it. You already know what your going to say , you mention that it was either between ribs or a beef tartare but the beef wasn’t up to standard for him and then he pivoted without telling you, he had already checked out by the time you came back with the onions.
Then you remember this national tv and you don’t want to be remembered for snapping and you don’t want to be that person .
So you take a breath and blow out and shake your head from left to right.
“Chef, would you like to explain your side of the story? “ The host ask.
“That’s not really how that went but I cooked the food so if I go home for that then so be it” you shrug your shoulder saying it.
Thankfully he gets eliminated. You hope it's because the judges know that you didn't cook that shitty ass food.
In the candid’s is where you get animated. You are upset and mad that a person can just throw you under the bus just get farther along in the competition when he could just, I don’t know, cook better.
“You would think with a James Beard Award he would cook better food”. You see Simon’s eyes widen and hope that you didn’t freak him out by being a little bitchy. The producer wants to know why you didn’t defend yourself and you really didn’t feel like rehashing it but if you must all you said was “I know how to cook and maybe he doesn’t”.
You see Simon’s shoulder shake and shake his head like he’s trying not to laugh and you fall a little more in love with him.

Happy New Year everyone🎍😊🎍 With the new year upon us, I feel even more determined to spend as much time as possible with everyone, sharing happiness laughter😃 May this year be filled with joy, energy, and love✨
I spent the New Year with my family, here are some photos they took of me on New Year's Eve, it looks like I am having a blast😂I decided to make a collage out of the photos. This makes it look like a proper New Year's card💌 Thank you for your continued support in 2025‼ ️✨\\\\٩( 'ω' )و ////✨
We had sukiyaki on New Year's Eve🤤 My brother was in charge. Doesn't it look delicious?😍 It tasted amazing...😍 We had soba noodles while watching the Red & White Year-end Song Festival, after that we greeted the new year while watching a Silvester Concert, then we went to bed😊
The next day, on New Year's Day morning, my sister-in-law made some great New Year's dishes!! ! ! ! ! I have no words to describe how amazing all of it was...😭✨The table setting was gorgeous too...😭✨ It not only looked beautiful, everything was also really delicious, I just wanted to keep on eating😭✨ (My sister-in-law is actually a professional cook)
There were cute little bunnies in the different New Year's dishes and in the zoni! 🐰 (I helped cut the kamaboko into decorative shapes 😊 It was difficult but fun 😆) We were all able to put whatever we liked on our plate🍚 I'm not the type of person who can eat a lot all at once, so I like to take my time and eat a little at a time. So I guess this sort of New Year's arrangement works best for me 😂. It's fun to eat all kinds of things slowly, little by little, while chatting ☺️💕
In the afternoon, we were all watching "The Solitary Gourmet" on TV, and the fried horse mackerel looked really delicious...🐟 I was captivated by the crispy texture of the fried food that Goro was eating... My sister-in-law then suggested that we should just fry the leftover shrimps from the day before. This is what she made for us! 🍤 Beautiful fried shrimp!!! 🍤With tartar sauce!!! ! ! ! (The heart-shaped lemon slices are so cute♡) She even fried some maitake mushrooms and sweet potatoes together😭✨ We all ate the crispy and juicy fried foods while they were still fresh❣️ It was the best...😭💕Freshly fried is food is truly the best😭💕
I had a really fun New Year's holiday~(((o(*゚▽゚*)o))) I got to re-charge my energy🤗 I know that many of you are busy, but please make sure to take time to look after your mind and body😊
The first big thing I am looking forward to this year is getting to meet you all at the Kalafina concert!
I also have some special news to announce for my solo activities!! \\\\٩( 'ω' )و //// I'm planning to reveal it in the next episode of my podcast "Wakana's Talk Garden", so please look forward to it!! ・:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+
Once again, thank you everyone for your continued support this year! ! \(^o^)/Until next time~☆( *'▽'*)/

[And then I'll add, like, a nice little slaw kind of crunch to the dish. Take the pancake, open it up, put the crab meat inside, a little bit of the fennel salad, tartar sauce, and then caviar.]

tmnt 2003 headcanons: cooking
Leo:
Bless his heart it's the thought that counts
Mikey thinks he was cursed by the vengeful ghost of a scorned chef because if he is even in the kitchen something will go wrong
And not only that but he will somehow destroy every utensil he touches like those non-stick pans? unrecognizable once he's done
And he'll burn everything
Lowkey it's because he gets impatient and turns the heat up all the way and scorches whatever he's making
And when he's cooking he'll be following the recipe and he'll just decide that something isn't important cause he doesn't know what it is
Or he'll try to guess what it is and that's even worse
he'll be like oh cream of tartar? That's just coffee cream and tartar sauce
He's happy to help but never trust him it's a trap
Here is a list of things Leo successfully can cook: cereal, canned soup and maybe toast on a good day
He's on dishes duty
Raph:
Actually surprisingly functional considering it's Raph
His cooking can be a little sloppy and it might not look very nice but it'll taste good
He's got a handful of recipes he knows how to make pretty well and for everything else he can probably figure it out
But Raph's recipes would be stuff that's pretty basic but very homey like chili, chicken noodle soup or like spaghetti and meatballs
At the farmhouse he likes to bbq like a middle aged dad
But Raph's problem is that he makes like triple the amount of food they actually need because go big or go home
And he cries when he cuts onions and not even like a little teary eyed like full on crying
Donnie:
He's just barely passing a C- at best
Donnie's problem is that he also doesn't follow the recipe because he thinks he knows better
and he doesn't
He's like oh cooking is just science and he treats it like his own little chemistry project
Like he'll make soup and treat it like he's making a potion
He's better than Leo because if he's supervised he can probably pull it off but if left to his own devices he will grab a flamethrower from his lab and be like this will be perfect to broil my nachos
With donnie's cooking it might be okay but there's also like a 20% chance it's poison
But also Donnie has no taste and would probably be content eating saltine crackers for the rest of his life
And he rarely cooks he does a lot around the house so he's rarely given cooking duty
Mikey:
He's the turtle version of remy from ratatouille he's a dreamer
Mikey likes to experiment with recipes and he has a taste for it so he likes to play around with different flavor combinations
And he'll follow recipes the first time he makes something but he can usually just eyeball proportions unless it something advanced
But he's an excellent cook of course and does the majority of the cooking
But he actually likes cooking and it's kind of like his love language
if they order take out and someone is like oh this is good mikey will recreate the recipe for them
And if someone's sick or upset Mikey will make their fav
And he makes his own pizzas
He generally likes everything Mikey isn't a picky eater he likes fancy dinners but he also likes 12 dollar cold left over pizza from dominos
Every time he eats his own cooking he says compliments to the chef
#tmnt#tmnt 2003#tmnt 2k3#tmnt headcanons#tmnt 2003 headcanons#I love how the fandom decided leo can't cook#Also I made a sims 4 tmnt save and in the first like 15 minutes leo tried to make mac and cheese and started a fire and died#it was very him

Restaurant Idea: The Nicktoons Diner
I'm sure just about all of you are familiar with The Krabby Patty Kollab Wendy's launched back in October, commemorating of the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants.
I tried for myself on opening day, and I really liked it.
But it did get me thinking about this....
What if there was a restaurant that was themed around not just SpongeBob, but all the Nicktoons in general.
And thus, I created the idea known as.....
THE NICKTOONS DINER!
If the name didn't clue you in already, this restaurant would be a diner, ala Steak n' Shake, Big Boy, and Denny's.
But with a Nickelodeon theming.
Layout is what you would expect from a diner.
There's the dining area with tables, booths, and a counter that you can sit and eat at.
And like any diner, you'll get a decent view of the kitchen.
The diner is also a drive-in, so you can eat in your own car.
Plus they'll actually provide a little disposable table for you to use while eating.
The dining area itself would be sporting a Nickelodeon theming, with orange and green colored chairs and a design of multicolored splats all over the floor.
And on the walls, you'll several pieces of art featuring hundreds of Nicktoon characters, dressed as workers of the diner and depicting them as working at the diner as well!
Now let's for the real meat of this post, the menu!
