Little Shop of Horrors / Ellen Greene as Audrey

The patterning on this dress made me think of The 101 Dalmatians, which came out around the same time as the original, non-musical Little Shop of Horrors. Actually, it came out one year later--Little Shop was in 1960, and Dalmations was in 1961--but it's fun to think that it might be a reference.

She accessorizes with white pumps and white gloves in proper early-1960s style. The black net scarf is a bit unusual, but it looks good with the dress. (ETA: I have been reminded that it's actually a sling for her injured arm. In which case, props to her for finding a way to make an "evening wear" sling!)

Double Feature:

Scream 2 and Little Shop of Horrors

I don’t feel like doing my homework currently, so I’m watching the second Scream film! Tonight, my sorority is screening Little Shop for a fundraiser, so I’m getting a bit of a double feature.

Please leave horror movie recommendations! I’m trying to watch as many as I can (that I haven’t seen before) this October!

yandere König with a Halloween obsessed lover. Spooky decorations all year round, witchy vibe. How would he be with that?

He promised to give you everything you wanted when he kidnapped you. Months later, he is still good on this promise - even when it includes swapping his hood for a Ghostface mask and let you decorate the house with cheesy skeletons and pumpkin decorations. Konig isn't really into Halloween - he never got to celebrate it and only knows it from movies and occasional parties at his high school that he didn't attend. He indulges you, letting you shop for decorations with his card and watch horror movies on repeat, making them a stable background noise in your relationship. He quickly found out that giving you gifts and letting you roam freely around the house to decorate it was a way to your heart - and you're much more compliant when he lets you decorate the basement he kept you in like a Halloween-themed chamber, with fake candles and freshly carved pumpkins. Konig wasn't so sure about letting you use the knife the first few times, but you're surprisingly pliant about trying to stab him. He chose good, he supposes. A pretty darling, probably on the same spectrum as he is, happy as long as she gets to enjoy her silly hobbies. Konig doesn't understand you, but he is trying his best to make you happy. Let you get in town during October, fetch some decorations yourself - even get you a giant bag of Halloween-themed candy from Flying Tiger, smiling as you feed him some of the sour ones. he doesn't know if you're trying to poison him and he should punish you for it, but the sour apple tastes much better than the overly-sweet pumpkin muffins you baked a few days ago, so he licks the sour powder from his lips and kisses you, making you squirm from the taste. He likes it - how pliant you are, as long as you get to wear your black dress and some cute ghost-themed clips in your hair. He usually isn't a fan of horror movies, never liking the jumpscares and loud noises that made his soldier brain activate with desire to smash the fucking tv - but Konig is willing to watch them with you, secretly hoping you'd get in his embrace whenever a scary scene is happening. You never do, already desensitized to the horrors and noises - if anything, you let Konig put his head on your lap, cradling his hair every time something loud and tense is happening. You know that he is much stronger than this, but even a big guy like him needs comfort - and you're ready to provide since he was good for you. You make for a good little family, especially when you convince him that you enjoy sex with him twice as much when he is wearing some slasher mask - and when he spends another hundred on spooky decor just for you.
