- qiyana's parents tell her if she wants to take the throne and interact with the outside world so bad then she needs to prove that she's got the skills to handle it which includes doing things like making foreign allies. ofc it's very much a "pls shut the fuck up and leave us alone" kind of thing bc they don't believe in her and she knows it so now she has no choice but to prove them wrong.

so she rolls up to lux's camp and demands they work together which goes about as well as expected. qiyana isn't used to people actually standing up to her and lux isn't about to roll over and just accept being bossed around in her own fucking territory. little by little tho, they do work things out and develop more than just a working relationship

How did he always manage to end up around such important and famous people? He barely even remembered how he ended up in Noxus, and speaking to the famed Reckoner, Draven™. The mage sighed and lowered his head over his patient, cutting the bandage and sticking it into place, as he listened to the inquiries beind thrown his way. Although behind all of that bravado Robin could sense the underlying layer of dread and worry, he could recognize that tone anywhere; he'd run a foul of that which vexes all men. His mind wandered to his own curse, how he looked in the sunlight...how he wondered when he'd see him again with all of this magical "now youre in Noxus" "now you're in Ionia!" bullshit that seemed to be happening recently.

"Again, Robin." He corrected him and if he could roll his eyes--he would roll them so hard his retina would break but alas, life was cruel in that way. However he could show his annoyance in his sighs and the way he tugged off his leather gloves, ready to snap before he took a moment to breathe. And he softened entirely, lowering his guard before he turned to the Reckoner and began to clean up, trying to not give him too much attention, god forbid he think Robin actually has grown fond of him--the horror. "I've never dined with royalty before but I think its important to remember that they are just people like the rest of us." Generally shitty people--but he'd keep his own opinions about politics set aside for now.

"I think...maybe show her into your world a little, this is about the Ixaocan Princess, Miss Qiyana, correct?" Robin remarked how clean the water felt on his hands as he washed them and ran a cloth over them, his ever-open owl eyes meeting Draven once more as he mused, "Your worlds are so different from eachother, perhaps it would not be a bad idea to explore how the two of you mesh in a normal setting. Hell, she might even like the ability to have some fun and not have the responsibilities of being a princess. Even just for a night." He chuckled and mused with a smile, easily getting caught up in the romance of it all.

"Take her to one of those fun seafood joints by the ports, the one with loud music so you can dance with her, and she can step on your toes while you hold her hands and spin her around." He caught himself sighing dreamily at the thought before waving it away to continue with his work, so what if Draven's eager behavior reminded him of his own when he was harboring a crush for his love? Well...rich people and poor people all have dreams after all, who was he to stomp out that little flicker of excitement? And so he began to clean his tools, "Did you have any other ideas for the evening? I take it she likes wine, bring that."

draven waits (im)patiently, practically sitting by the door. as soon as he hears footsteps, qiyana barely gets to ring the bell even once before he makes way for her. right, he was eager to see her, and not hiding it (doing a poor job of it, if he were).

he hardly leaves room for her to breath, unable to contain his excitement. and he's already pulling her into his arms, stealing a peck, holding her close, adjusting a few strands of her hair.

perhaps he'd have thrown a surprise party in there, if he knew whether that was her kinda thing or not... and if he didn't wanna have her all it to himself for the major part of the day.

oh, and that well included pampering her and treating her like a princess. the man's even looking to scoop her petite frame off the floor to carry her bridal style. imagine having to do the walking on your birthday when someone can help you up.

her keys jingle as she gets them out to unlock the door — but Draven works faster, getting it open before she can find the right key and scooping her into his arms.

picking a favorite would be super hard because they're all important to him in different ways. but it was definitely easier to connect to some than others.

akali brought the group together, so i assume she was the first of them ekko met, and honestly i think they got along right off the bat. on top of the shared music interest and street influenced styles more specificaly, i think they share some other interests, like graffiti, and that their personalities just work well together. like, i think they're silly together and the tdmg promo art supports this, but i also think they'd be good friends.

yasuo was just! really cool! in ekko's eyes. i also think they'd get along rather easily tbh and yas is definitely one of the ones ekko is closer to. i really have a hard time picking a favorite for ekko, but i think it'd be between kali and yas — with yasuo maybe winning. ekko loves yasuo and admires and respects him and thinks he's so cool and i think they'd be pretty close too which definitely influences in who's his favorite.

i think senna and qiqi are the ones that he may not have clicked with immediately for different reasons. with senna there's a bigger age gap i think? and she's just. also really cool and awesome but more serious and closed off i feel. but ultimately she also comes across as someone who'd be really nice and caring to those close to her and i think ekko would also respect and care for her a lot.

qiyana has a more... difficult personality. one could say she's arrogant but honestly she can back up everything with how she is actually really talented and awesome. and i think ekko also understands sometimes you have to act extra self-assured because other people will try to put you down because of who you are and where you come from which i feel is true for both of them. i think they might not have as many shared interests, but i could be wrong. and qiqi can be a little bossy, which would take getting used to on his part. anyway. i think he needed to warm up to qiyana more so than the others, but i think he loves qiqi as much as he loves the rest of them.

they're all his family (sometimes, i feel, more than his actual family, because i think his parents are a little absent for several reasons). i think it's less being closer to some more than others, and more that his relationship with them is different. he trusts everyone in true damage to have his back, be it with work stuff or personal stuff, as he'd also be there for them.

He didn’t think he’d be running into him here. Qiyana had mentioned him from time to time and he’s seen them together a few times too-- he had to admit it was actually weird meeting the guy without her draped on his arm (or… the other way around). Yasuo had spotted him as he was working in his usual corner booth of the coffee shop by his apartment. He’d equally been seen and spotted by the talk show host, who eagerly shoved himself into the booth across the table from him motioning for the DJ to take off his headphones. He obliged before being handed a black americano.

At first he’s at a loss for words, before shaking his head a little bit and smiling politely at the other man and taking the cup offered to him. It’s not his favorite but caffeine is caffeine in the end. He reaches a hand out as an offering before it’s grabbed somewhat eagerly and shook twice hard, catching him off guard.

“...Draven right? Qiqi’s boy?” He poses the question, but the tone is knowing-- the smile that follows is as well. “Heard a lotta of stories about you.” And he has in some sense, the same tabloids catching him and his own boy had caught them as well. Nevertheless he offers nothing but outward friendliness towards the man. Despite him beginning to talk Yasuo's ear off.

He didn’t really mind it though, was actually really nice to have company like this every once in a while. In between their conversation he finally catches a moment.

A nerf, a nerf! How was that even possible? She was the newest champion in the rift, she was supposed to be good at least for a few patches. However, not even a week later and she was already getting nerfs. Less movement speed, less damage, she was being attacked from all sides.

At this point, it wasn't even worth fighting enemies anymore, she was just going to get stomped by them. So Aurora decided to do the best thing she could think of, go jungle.

At first it was a little challenging, she wasn't made for the role, so her clears were slow, she had fallen two levels down on the enemy jungler, so even more of a reason to avoid any and all fighting.

However, her team were actually really good. Gwen was dominating toplane, Qiyana was just demolishing mid, and botlane with Cait and Lulu was going actually really well, so she mostly just decided to farm her camps.

Blue, krogs, raptors, wolves, red, grump, scuttle. Rinse and repeat with the occasional void grub, herald, and drake.

She was getting surprisingly good at jungling... However, what she was getting quite a bit bad at was getting to the jungle itself.

Each time she backed, she found herself taking longer and longer to reach the jungle. Not only that, she felt more... Sluggish. She knew her movement speed had taken a hit, but didn't think it was that bad. And from the looks of things, her HP was higher than ever, however, she just couldn't farm as well.

As moved her wand, she would feel her belly starting to slosh from side to side, and as she finished the camp, things just got worse, she could feel her belt getting tighter as well.

Didn't help that Lulu would often time come and give her a bunch of biscuits to stay topped off in case she found an enemy. However, the only enemy she found were the walls of the jungle.

40 minutes into the game, 4 cloud drakes plus homeguard, yet Aurora was still slower than a Yuumi.

Even worse was that now each step took away part of her HP, so she constantly had to keep refilling it with biscuits, she had even sold all her items to buy more.

Slow waddle after slow waddle, massive bunny buns quaking and cracking the floor of their base. In a desperate attempt to go faster, Aurora tried to hop between dimensions... However, she quickly found a problem.

Her body went through the portal, all the way up to her thighs. Try as she might, she wiggle, she swayed, she tried to move around, but she just couldn't get past the door to the spirit world. Her mounds of bubbler behind her just wouldn't fit.

“Awwww, don't worry little bunny, I can help! We yordles are experts in the spirit world!" A little voice said behind her, one that couldn't help but take a bite out of her bottom before climbing on top of her.

“All you need to do to break free is to outgrow the doorway. Don't worry, celestial beings are too big to fit through, so we just have to get you there~" before the poor bunny could even answer, she felt as biscuits started pouring down her mouth... It was then that she realized, her team had all suffered the same fate.

Eyebrows crease together beneath blue dyed strands when the diva makes a show of her displeasure, his little salute curling in on itself. What... what had he done wrong? Had she wanted him to retaliate more to the insults after being the one to start it? Make a better stand at defending his band instead of taking it on the chin? Sure he was keeping the conversation short but her words didn't exactly communicate interest in continuing to speak to him. But when her attention turns back to him with that cruel smile, foresight finally hits Aphelios, realising all too late what was about to happen to him. With a hissed inhale he takes the verbal beating, expression phasing through wincing to something callous as lips press together and eyes outlined in dark makeup look down on her. The honest reading of his character mixed with the parts he didn't even have control over is an all too familiar feeling; only instead of being from his own inner monologue, it's a roast from one of the most well known - for all the best and worst reasons - pop star in the world. The nickname is especially egregious, gaining a pained look as lips pull in disgust.

When Qiyana finally leaves along him in her ruthless wake, the musician's adam's apple twitches with a gulp, shoulders and posture slacking when he dares draw breath again. Hands flex in the pockets he had stuffed them into, digging into his palms while his chest tightens. Leaning his head back, eyes roll along with a scoff, unbelieving he was still standing from that onslaught. He really should have asked what she wanted in return, for saving him. This was so much easier when you could type out everything you wanted to say instead of getting interrupted with very direct, very harsh, insults.

Well, at least he had an excuse for wanting to be anywhere but here now.

Was he going to prove her right? His petty side said yes, absolutely. There was probably a nice corner with a few vision-obscuring plants where he could use his phone in for the rest of the evening safely without any more awkward interactions. But then again, starting beef with one of the biggest names in the industry, who also had ties to your own band, wasn't exactly the smartest move. He also definitely didn't want to involve the rest of HEARTSTEEL with this, especially Yone. The only way to not get to that point, was to fix this right now. If this was going to be the night he ruins his reputation in the industry he had just gotten his foot in the door with, then might as well do so after trying everything he could to save it.

Using his long legs to stride up to and past the Diva, Aphelios stops in front of her with hands raised in a plea to wait. The doors were right there, he had to make this quick. "Look, I'm sorry, You're right, I probably would go hide. I got pretty overwhelmed and forgot the rest of my manners."

With a heaving breath, hands flex before they continue signing;

"How can I repay you for the rescue?"

She takes notice of his face, his expressions. She can't help but let out a demeaning snort. Clearly, he was having a difficult time engaging with her. Tough luck; for him.

If you can't handle the heat and the smoke, then don't get into the industry. Qiyana had experienced far worse. And she would not be free from scrutiny anytime soon. Mostly because she kept lighting the flames with her actions. She would not be forgotten.

And she was going to go back outside to make her actions just now even worse. Seeing as Aphelios was now trying to make distance from her, after she went out of her way to help him. To lessen the blow to his image. Offer advice and feedback and this is what she gets for thank?

A loud scoff escapes the Diva, who turns her head. Arms crossed to her stomach. Eyes shut firmly. "HMPFH. Qiyana does not need your consideration, especially after you dare show discourtesy to the one who just pulled you out of a tough spot.

"The spotlight will always find Qiyana. It's something you and yours from that little project will not understand. But by all means: go and hide." Now she's looking at him again, a sadistic smile on her face. Hands on her hips as she shifts her weight about, looking even more condescending than before. Shockingly, that is possible. But only Qiyana mastered this art.

"Because that's what you will be doing for the rest of the evening. Instead of making a stand, you got saved by me. And then you go without even showing proper respects. Then you will find your bandmates and hide behind them because you can't deal with the attention."

"Qiyana has seen many like you before. You don't even have the courage to call me out. You will not last in this industry. Little Phel." She coos the name, like addressing a child; or a small pet.

"I would wish you good luck, but that would be wasting my breath. Qiyana: leaving the scene." She flicks her sunglasses back down and makes a turn for the entrance. Totally heading back out there to go get her interview done. Even if someone else was currently absorbing all attention: Qiyana was far more interesting. Especially after dragging Aphelios in and then heading back outside. All according to plan.

" Akali couldn't come, " she shrugs some — if that one wasn't so busy they'd have come back already, " busy with some KDA project, as always. but the rest of us are here. and I'm here, so honestly, what else matters? "

she chuckles, but there is no doubt Qiyana believes her own words.

" it is hard to create something new in this industry. lately labels grasp new groups so fast, you can't tell them apart. gets worse each year. " Qiyana takes a sip from her pink-hued drink, a pause for dramatic effect. " you boys are loud. reckless. little to no experience and your production was a mess of jumbled ideas. "

her face turns toward him, a smirk pulling at her lip and revealing a pearly fang.
