This fandom never talks about how Ekko is canonically in a BAND called True Damage and they have a real song that HITS

Idk much about League so I think it’s an alternate universe but still that’s pretty sick

His design for True Damage is so cool

In the musicverse, Yasuo canonically reads Battle Academia and Star Guardian books (are they supposed to be manga? Bc those don’t look like manga books)

If the musicverse is essentially the “real world”, as I’ve seen it described by people more knowledgeable about LoL than me, then that would mean that Star Guardian and Battle Academia are fictional franchises within this music AU

Do these books imply that the champions featured in these two AUs are actors/celebrities in the musicverse, or are the “fictional franchise” characters completely unrelated to them and any resemblance is purely coincidental (eg. SG!Ahri isn’t supposed to be K/DA!Ahri at all)? If I’m assuming the former (which I am bc it’s more fun), does that mean that Ahri, Kai’sa, Seraphine, Ekko, Senna and Ezreal know each other bc they were all costars in Star Guardian?

And where the hell does Jinx fit into all of this?? Bc she’s apparently able to meet/hang out with True Damage and K/DA at events like the Grammys, but her position is never specified. Is she part of the creative team that makes the MVs for the artists, as HC’d by @jinxarchive? Is she an artist herself, and “Get Jinxed” was her debut single? Is she only a fan? Is she supporting the music careers of her Star Guardian costars? Did Riot just include her bc she’s Jinx? (most likely)

FINISHED~!!!! Stayed up to finish True Damage Ekko! Some info about the HammerTime AU under the cut!

TD!Ekko is a very popular rap artist that’s a part of True Damage. BodyGuard!Jayce is a middle-class Piltoven who decided to take on being the group’s bodyguard to fund his personal inventing projects after losing his mentorship with the Kirramanns. Ekko instantly took notice of Jayce’s shyer and quiet demeanor and teases him about it. Ekko instantly took a liking to Jayce through their shared love of inventing and will happily go out of his way to tip him more so Jayce can do more work with his time- even offering to help him personally. 

Ekko is head over heels for this Piltoven man and would take advantage of his position as the star to make certain decisions (having them share a hotel room, flying Jayce out when on hiatus for “work”, etc.). Jayce doesn’t mind too much- he finds it cute.

TD!Ekko’s personality aligns closer to League Ekko’s. He’s friendly, bubbly, and scrappy as well as intelligent. He still has biases against Piltover and their people, but Jayce’s more down-to-earth nature won him over. TD!Ekko is also very, very cocky when it comes to Jayce, he knows he has this poor man wrapped around his finger. 

BG!Jayce aligns with Act 1 Jayce in Arcane. He���s curious, optimistic, and hasn’t been corrupted by the politics of Piltover. He simply wants to do the right thing and wants to share his work with the world.

The artstyle direction for this AU is the bolded black lines and vibrant colors of the True Damage, “Giants” MV art style.

Since she was the original musicverse artist, I like to imagine that Ahri is lauded as that universe’s “idol of idols” (or as Chappell Roan put it: “your favorite artist’s favorite artist”)

I can absolutely see a young Ezreal being inspired by her to become a singer in the first place, and her forming kda and taking control of her image & music would be even more inspiring to him down the line (their histories with controlling labels is v similar; let them bond over it!)

But even with that example aside, I imagine that other singers also love and respect her a great deal, maybe even being such big fans of hers that they end up freaking out over her like any other fan; like, you just know Ekko was internally screaming when he was at the Oscars with her

Basically, I like to think that other artists act like this around her
