wc: 6k
content warnings: litch everything i fear, smut, dirty talk, degradation, praise, so insanely gay dont look at me, this is what happens when a gatty truther writes a threesome fic, spit roasting (obv), handjobs (sort of), matty in lingerie (a given at this point), knife play, dom George for literally three seconds, insanely pathetic gatty for the rest, she orders them around (also a given atp), cunnilingus, slight impact play if u squint, begging, denial (sort of), facials, cumplay, mention of sub drop, but he's well taken care of x, disgustingly sweet because i have to, MDNI!!!!!!!!
You hear them first
The door clicking open, Matty struggling to get the chain off to let George in, and then muffled footsteps as he toes his shoes off, throwing them into the floor next to the coat rack. Muffled voices laugh as Matty says something out of pocket, ushering him upstairs with a giggle. The door to the bedroom creaks open, stopping halfway through the motion because of its broken hinge.
That's when you see both of them. Matty’s hand touching George’s arm, right above where his elbow creases. The glossy magazine in your hands is heavy, pictures of models in posh clothes littering the pages, pops of vibrant color drawing you in. It’s one of Matty’s, his extensive collection of them growing in piles next to the bed. You joke that you don't even need a nightstand anymore, you could just put the lamp on the stack of old vogue.
You set it down, straightening your back as George looks in your direction, nodding at you as Matty keeps touching him, only letting go to close the door, leaning his back against it as you pat the bed next to you, asking George to come sit down next to you. The furniture creaks awkwardly, making you giggle when the mattress dips beside you, the unmade sheets crumpling even more under the two of you.
George's eyes wander over to Matty, who surprisingly, is still just standing there, looking at both of you. He shifts on the bed, uncrossing his legs to sit with his feet planted on the floor, both hands on his knees as you move behind him, trying to figure out what he’s doing.
That's when you see it.
Matty stands there, a filthy smirk plastered on his face as both you and George stare at him, everything clicking into place slowly. His clothing gives his intentions away so blatantly, it almost makes you laugh. Clad in his favorite black, skin-tight jeans, he’s paired them with a pair of new heels neither of you had seen before. Cherry red platforms, rhinestones lined along the bottom, glimmering mesmerizingly as your eyes travel further up, taking in the sight of him all dressed up for you.
You can feel George move oddly, and you know his little ensemble affects him just as much as you, if not even more. Matty’s top is pink and slightly see through, and you recognise it as one of yours, seeing how it hangs a bit loosely, folding and draping itself over his chest and torso. You hear the soft metallic sounds of jewelry as Matty takes a step forward, the glitter around his eyes becoming more and more visible the closer he gets the the foot of the bed
“What are you playing at, Matty?” George speaks, making you jump just a bit as his voice reverberates through your body, the low tone of his voice going straight to your core. Matty scoffs and shakes his head at the accusation, however true it might ring.
“Just want to hang out with my mates, is that a crime now?” he deflects with another question, waving his hands around him gesturing to you, then George, like that somehow strengthens his point.
“No one gets that done up just to hang out.” you breathe, blatantly enjoying the view as Matty’s hands find his hair, brushing back the freshly washed curls out of his face. George cocks an eyebrow at him, nodding along in agreement. Matty simply shrugs, picking at his nails in a bored way as the tension in the room builds, Both of you know what he wants, you just want to hear him say it.
“What did you really have planned when you invited G over?” you say, hearing George suck in a deep breath in through his nose, steadying himself before Matty answers, who puts his hands up in defeat.
“Got me there darling, m’not as slick as I thought.” now it’s your turn to scoff, “You really aren’t.”
Matty isn’t bothered by your jabs, pulling a playful face at you.
“I brought our sweet George over here to fuck him” he walks over to the foot of the bed, finding George’s choked reaction quite amusing. “Or watch him fuck you, I don't mind either way. But you knew that from the moment I walked in here.”
"D'you want to get in my panties, George? Want me to scream your name like I scream hers?" Matty speaks, his voice sultry and low as George lunges towards him, catching his lips in a hot kiss, full of teeth and tongue and desperation as Matty whines into it, letting George take over. George’s eyes are wide when he finally pulls away, darting over Matty’s features before pulling him back in, both of them breathless as though they had just to run a marathon. You watch intently, taking in every movement and noise coming from the two of them, committing it all to memory.
“Oh, I like this.” you whisper, grinning at the two of them as they turn to glance at you, sat back with your back against the headboard, watching the scene in front of you. “Of course you do, freak.” Matty murmurs, nipping Georges bottom lip with his teeth as the blonde gasps softly, eyes blown out and flicking between you and Matty frantically, not sure where to look.
A delicate hand guides his face to look straight at Matty, their lips locking in another bruising kiss, making even you feel the heat of it, your fingers brushing your hair out of your face as they break away and turn to look at you. Both of their chests heave with effort, George using every ounce of self control left in him to not kiss him again, opting to bite his lip and try to catch his breath instead. Matty grins wildly, looking you up and down as ideas run through his mind, all of them absolutely filthy.
“Don’t want her to miss out on the action, yeah?” His voice is teasing as George looks at you in the same way Matty did, full of desire and want. “‘Course not.” The bed creaks loudly as Matty climbs off George, quickly pouncing onto you and slamming your back into the headboard, your crash cushioned by pillows and blankets. You yelp, a small giggle escaping you as a mess of curls bends down to press his lips to yours, tongue licking into your mouth dizzyingly
Now it’s George's turn to watch how Matty kisses you, his lips moving from your lips to your cheek to your jaw, slowly trailing down until he reaches your collar bones, his teeth nipping at them lightly. He makes his way down your body, hands pushing your top up to reveal inches of skin previously concealed, a soft gasp leaving your lips as he presses a hot kiss right between your tits, pulling at your shirt hard enough to get you to raise your arms and have George pull it off you. No words, except a quiet “Fucking hell,” from George, are exchanged as you lean forward to unhook your bra, letting it slowly fall off you and be discarded in the corner.
You can hear Matty exhale sharply, licking his lips before diving back in, sucking marks and bruises onto the skin of your tits, biting down every so often just to feel you twitch. He grins against you as George catches your lips in a sweet kiss, his hand coming up to cup your face as Matty presses wet kisses all down your stomach, his fingers digging into the fat of your hips, hard enough to leave bruises.
The bed creaks again as George disconnects his lips from yours, proceeding to nudge Matty off to the left, making you spread your legs even wider. You feel obscene as George kneels in between your legs, right next to Matty, his large hands gripping your jean clad thigh and peppering kisses over the material.
“Fucking gorgeous, tastes amazing as well.” Matty mutters, almost inaudibly, his fingers toying with the button of your pants, tongue running over the zipper teasingly. The eye contact makes you dizzy with need, his eyes fluttering as the thought of his mouth on you takes over his mind.
You look over at George, who looks like he’s trying to desperately suppress a moan at Matty’s words, his breathing heavy. Matty senses how worked up he is, his own cock starting to fill in the confines of his tight jeans. His fingers work to undo the button of your pants, the quiet pop insanely loud in the near silent room. Matty runs his thumb over the zipper, looking up and slightly behind him to get a good look at George, who is panting and bright red, rock hard in his shorts.
“Want a taste?” Matty’s words are smooth, sure, sultry. George looks like he’s about to pass out when he pulls your zipper down, the sound ringing through his head as loud as sirens, his eyes wide and lips parted. “Fuck, can I?” George pants, his voice shaky and so turned on, he can barely form words. Matty looks up to you, his look asking for your approval, and you vigorously nod your head, pulling your gaze over to George.  “Yeah, yeah please, George– fuck.” you breathe, your eyes heavy and hooded, nipples hard against the cool air.
Matty works on tugging your jeans down your thighs and off you, George’s hands coming up to roll your nipples between his fingers, making you gasp in a mix of pain and pleasure, head foggy with lust and desire for both of them. The moment your pants hit the floor you can feel Matty’s tongue on you, licking and sucking your clit over your cotton panties, the front of them painted with a visible wet spot, making his grin against you as the taste envelopes his senses. You roll your hips against his mouth, desperate for any friction you can get, a soft moan leaving George’s lips at the sight of Matty’s head buried between your thighs.
With your eyes closed, you can only hear how George properly settles between your legs, mirroring Matty’s position, on his stomach. You watch as Matty moves to the side, leaving hickeys all over your thigh as George lets his fingers trace over the wet patch on the front of your panties, a mix of your arousal and Matty’s spit, shuddering as he feels you twitch under his touch. You genuinely can't think straight as George hooks his thumb into the waistband of your panties, slipping them down and off you as you arch your hips, Matty so blatantly staring at your glistening core it almost makes you giggle.
You  bite back a whimper when George takes your panties into his right hand, stuffing them into his pocket with a smirk, Matty grinning wildly once he realizes what he'd done. George’s tongue on you feels like absolute heaven, his hand snaking around your waist to grip you tighter, pulling you impossibly close to him. Matty watches with lustful eyes, his gaze flicking from where you and George connect and your face, very much enjoying the blissed out expression painting your features.
Your skin is flush, sweat making your hair stick to your forehead as your hips arch up and grind onto George’s tongue, blinding pleasure shooting into every corner of your body as he laps at your clit, quickly being pulled away by a very eager Matty, yelping as he’s yanked back by the hair. His lips are replaced by Matty’s, who is moaning into your cunt so obscenely it makes you blush even harder. “Want you to kiss him baby, show G some love, yeah?” you whisper, your hand running through Matty’s messed up curls as he nods, turning his head and being met with George’s face already incredibly close to his.
The kiss is hot, all tongue and teeth and soft, breathy whimpers, the sound like music to your ears. George’s fingers circle your clit as they make out, sparks of pleasure making pressure build in your core. It doesn’t take long for George to pull away, his hand threading through Matty’s hair and staying there, guiding his mouth back to your clit, a choked moan leaving your lips. “Making her feel so good, doll, look how loud she is for us.” George coos, looking up at you as his hand presses Matty’s face further into your cunt, depriving him of any oxygen.
You can tell how much Matty is enjoying this, his hips bucking into the mattress helplessly as George talks him through it, whispering filthy things into his ear as his lips connect with his neck, the angle awkward but still insanely hot, your eyes rolling back when George rests his head on your thigh, watching Matty eat you out with such an intensity it makes his head spin. You can feel your orgasm approaching rapidly, your chest heaving and mind hazy with pleasure, making Matty redouble his efforts as George keeps guiding his head.
You try to warn him, but Matty just nods into your cunt, swirling his tongue around your clit and sucking it between his lips, making your vision white out in pleasure as you cum, legs trembling even in George’s firm grip. “Fuck, there you go doll, making her cum so hard, aren’t you?” George whispers, breathless at the sight of you thrashing and grinding down onto Matty’s tongue to ride out your orgasm.
Matty’s face is slick when he pulls away, licking his lip with a filthy smirk plastered on his face. Both of them get on their knees, now kneeling in front of you, still panting and hazy from your climax.
The kiss they share is frantic, needy, almost animalistic as Matty presses his body against his, hands tugging at George’s shirt, moaning wantonly into his mouth. “Off, need this off.” he whines, George obeying and lifting his arms up to allow Matty to take his shirt off him, leaving his sweaty chest bare. You watch as Matty’s teeth sink into the skin of his shoulder, making George cry out in surprise. The yelp slowly turns into a groan as the pain morphs into pleasure, Matty sucking hickeys into the space right below his jaw, hands roaming his chest and tweaking his nipples.
George gives in to his touch for a while, feeling every intense sensation tenfold as Matty touches him, overwhelming him with pleasure and pure need. It’s almost painful to pull away, but he does, making eye contact with you as Matty cocks his head, following his gaze to you. You’re still laying there, though slightly sat up now as you watch the scene in front of you unfold, grinning at the show they’re putting on for you with hungry eyes.
“I want..'' George stammers a bit, trying to form a coherent sentence as his cock strains against his trousers, Matty’s mouth back on his chest not helping him in the slightest. You smirk at Matty, parting your bruised lips to speak, your words coated in thick honey. “Tell me, baby, what do you want? Don’t be shy.” Your tone doesn’t help George speak clearly, it only clouds his mind even more, thoughts and fantasies flashing in front of his eyes faster than he can verbalize them.
“I want you to, uhm–,” George pauses again, biting his lip as teeth graze over his nipple, the sharp pain making his cock even harder. Matty giggles at his reaction boyishly, like he isn't just as hard and twice as desperate as him, his cockiness turning you on even more.
“I want you to fuck him. Like you told me, wanna see him take it.”
Those words make Matty perk up, his eyes fluttering at the thought of being filled by you, feeling you pounding into him mercilessly. You don't even acknowledge his reaction, ignoring him completely as you speak to George and only George.
“Yeah? Wanna see how pretty he looks crying for us?” You can tell how turned on Matty is, the way you two speak about him like he isnt in the room making him dizzy with lust and want, his lips pulling away from George’s now marked up chest in favor of frantically trying to look at both of you at once, hoping to see a spark of interest in your eyes. What he sees is so much more than interest. He sees promise, and George’s next words only solidify what he hopes is going to happen.
 “Please…Fuck, darling–”
“I know baby, just lie on the bed for me, yeah?” you coo, getting up to a kneeling position and pressing a (hardly) chaste kiss to George’s wet lips. You get up slowly, turning your back to sift through the nightstand drawer, hearing the bed creak behind you as George lays down where you previously were, leaning his back against the headboard. Your hands finally feel what you were searching for, grinning to yourself as you pull the strapon out from the mess of toys and lube that live in your bedside drawer.
Turning back around, your breath hitches at the sight in front of you. Matty on his stomach, settled between George’s spread legs, cheek nuzzling into his tensed thigh. Strap in hand, you grin at them, both blatantly ogling your naked frame, eyes raking over the curve of your hips, the slight pudge of your stomach, and you feel a flash of power, of control rush through you at how much you affect them.
“Getting started without me? Not that I'm complaining.” you giggle at Matty’s smile, eyes hooded in overwhelming lust as he rubs against George’s bulge, knowing how much you love it when he does shit like this.
“And I thought Georgie here was the voyeur.” he says, his teasing tone making an already nervous George stammer and stutter over his words pathetically, trying to defend himself. “I– I don’t–”
“Shh, it’s alright darling, no need to be shy.” you speak, slipping on the strap tightening the harness around your hips, watching how Matty’s eyes widen in anticipation. You know you look hot, evident in the way they both look at you, silently begging you to do something, anything, or at least allow them to do something to each other.
“Oh– fuckk– ” the desperate noise comes from George, caused by Matty suddenly unzipping his trousers, the pressure on his cock finally being relieved after what feels like hours. Matty practically salivates at the sight of his cock straining against his boxers, eyes flicking back up to where you're standing, wordlessly begging for permission to touch him properly. “Just keep being pretty for me, I'll be right there.” you tell him, his defeated nod making your core stir with desire.
Brushing your hair with your fingers, you grab the bottle of lube sitting on the nightstand, fumbling it and earning a giggle from Matty. You watch him mouth along George’s cock through his boxers, the blonde’s eyes screwed shut in torturous pleasure as Matty teases him. Matty, still fully clothed, attempts to grind against the mattress, being the only one that hasn't been properly touched this whole time. You chuckle to yourself and so does George, and you make playful eye contact as Matty whines, slowly getting more and more impatient.
“Getting so worked up for us, aren’t you baby? Want me to fuck you, is that it?” you tease mercilessly, dragging out each syllable until Matty feels like he’s going to cum on the fucking spot, his hips bucking wildly against the sheets. George watches as you kneel on the bed right behind Matty, nudging his legs telling him to spread them. “Let's get these off you, yeah?” Matty nods frantically, too turned on to speak as he licks up George’s shaft, watching him twitch under the heat of his tongue.
Matty shuffles on the bed, kneeling and staring at George as he unbuttons his skin-tight jeans, moaning in relief as the pressure is lifted off his leaking cock. The lust is so dizzying that he fumbles with the zipper for a few beats, finally getting it down far enough to show both of you the new lace he had gotten especially for today. You make eye contact with George, the sight of him palming himself over his boxers, skin flushed bright red and chest heaving burning itself into your memory. Matty throws his jeans off the bed, taking a moment to mirror George’s movements on his own cock, pornographic moans spilling from his lips at the sensation.
Matty’s your top is next to go, joining the crumpled up jeans on the floor. Your breath hitches when he looks back at you, winking provocatively before running his hands up his chest, finally able to touch himself properly. You let him, knowing how much George is enjoying the show based on the choked groans leaving his lips, the whole scene going straight to your core.
“Get on your stomach, baby, make G here feel so good for me.” you speak slowly, smiling condescendingly as Matty’s eyes cloud over with lust, his nod dazed and desperate, and you know he’d do anything right in that moment. He does what you say, leaning forward and scooting onto his stomach, back in the position he was before. Clicking your tongue, you grab his hips harshly. “You know what I need from you Matty– yeahh that's it baby, arch that pretty back for me, doesn't he look so good like this, George?”
Both of them whine at your words, and you can physically feel how bad Matty needs you, his breathing heavy and irregular, skin glistening with sweat. You’ve dragged this out as long as you can, teasing and toying with both of them to near tears. Right when they think it's over, all the games and demands, that's when you pull out one final item from under the sheets.
A small pocket knife.
Matty can’t see it, but George can. His eyes widen as you twirl it at him, grinning wildly as you lean down to whisper into Matty’s ear, your strap pressing up against him, making him tremble in anticipation. Trailing the blade down his spine, you watch goosebumps erupt all over his skin as he slowly realizes exactly what you’re doing, a strangled whine ripping itself from his throat.
“Want me to cut your pretty panties off you, baby? Have you all exposed for us?”
Your words make Matty genuinely shiver, his nodding frantic as he turns his head back to catch a glimpse of the knife, so overwhelmed with sensation he can't form a single coherent thought, his hips pressing back into your strap. “Don’t neglect poor George just because you’re a fucking whore for me, yeah?” As the focus is brought back to him, you watch George’s eyes snap up to meet yours, wide and hazy.
Matty whimpers quietly, his fingers quickly working to tug George’s shorts further down, taking his boxers with them. George stifles a moan as Matty’s cool hand wraps around his cock, gathering the precum at the tip and smearing it down his shaft. “Fuck, you’re so hard.” are the only words he can force out, mesmerized by George and his reaction. “C’mon baby, spit on his pretty dick, get him nice and wet.” you urge him, and George can't stop the pathetic obscene moan that leaves his lips when Matty does just that, spit dribbling down his as his hand moves up and down his cock.
What finally does George in is the way Matty looks at him, teary eyed and desperate, his tongue darting out to kitten lick the tip, sucking the head of his cock between his lips. The look of absolute bliss on George’s face makes your breath hitch, one of your hands trailing up to grope yourself, enjoying the scene playing out in front of you.
You use Matty’s preoccupation to trace the knife in your hand further down his back, hooking the blad into the waistband of his panties, slowly letting the material split until it quite literally falls off him.
You can tell exactly when Matty takes George completely into his mouth, a dragged out, “O-oh god– shittt.” leaving his lips as George lets one of his hands find Matty’s cheek, soothingly rubbing it as he bobs his head, making the blonde’s eyes screw shut in pleasure. You don’t let yourself get lost in it though, but fuck, it’s hard not to. The sound of the cap opening is impossibly loud, and Matty recognises it immediately, his hips bucking violently as he gags around George, eyes tearing up from the effort.
You slick up your strap with a generous amount of lube, using the remaining liquid to draw a small heart on Matty’s back, the shape shining even in the dim light of the bedroom. Matty coughs violently as George accidentally thrusts up into his mouth, a mix of spit and precum dripping down his chin as he pulls off for a second, wiping away a few tears.
“I’m okay G, I promise. Fuck, that was so hot.” he assures George, grinning up at him with sparkling eyes, mouthing an inaudible “I love you,” before taking him back down his throat.
You watch as George threads his hand into Matty’s hair, pushing his head down slightly and gauging his reaction, a muffled moan telling him all he needs to know. Using more force, he guides Matty’s head up and down his cock, slowly, almost lovingly, fucking his mouth. The groans that spill from his lips are nothing short of delicious, spurring Matty on to take him even further, doing his absolute best to suppress his gag reflex, relishing in the feeling of George’s cock hitting the back of his throat.
Leaning down once again, you whisper quietly against Matty’s ear, “Relax a bit Matty, mhm? I’m so proud of you, you’re taking this so well for us.” Matty can only whine in response, attempting to nod even with his mouth stuffed full of cock. .
You inhale deeply before pressing the tip of the strap to his hole, teasing him one last time, just for the sake of watching him squirm and writhe under you. You know his cock is leaking onto the sheets by now, making a mess of them because he can’t help himself when it's the two of you, thinking his with dick instead of his brain.
“He’s so fucking pretty George. Look how good he’s gonna take my cock, aren't you baby?” you speak, nodding at a blissed out George, so overwhelmed with pleasure he can barely respond, nodding back at you. The relieved moan that leaves Matty’s lips when you finally, finally press into him is nothing short of pornographic, audible even over the wet sounds of his lips sinking down on George’s cock, bringing him closer and closer to the edge with each and every movement.
“So gorgeous doll, feels good?” you coo, your hands gripping his hips and holding him in place, mercilessly fucking into him and never once letting up for even a second. Matty pulls off of George to answer, his hand taking over while he speaks, stumbling over his words pathetically. “P-please, feel so full, fuckk–”
George just watches you thrust into him, brushing against his g-spot with each movement of your hips, Matty’s whines once again muffled by his cock fuckign into his mouth, taking pleasure like it belongs to him. “Taking us so good Matty– looks so fucking pretty too, doesn't he?” Your words motivate Matty to no end, and he deepthroats George until he can’t breathe, so eager to please it literally possesses him, the only thing on his mind being you and George.
“Yeah, y’look so beautiful choking on my cock, fuck.” George groans, and you know he’s close because of how his voice pitches up, sounding eerily similar to Matty. You almost scold him when he pulls off again, his obscene moans now even louder as your strap hits his g-spot over and over again, making him dizzy and all his thoughts go away, pleasure taking over every inch of his being.
“Feels s’good, shit– Please make me cum, darling I need to cum so fucking bad, been so good f’you, please.'' Wet sounds fill the room, and you're sure you look like something straight out of a porno, the position so filthy it clouds your mind, your movements speeding up, causing Matty to moan louder, loud enough for even the neighbors to hear. Not that you would mind.
“George–” he starts, interrupted by your chest pressing to his back and you reaching to wrap your hand around his cock, squeezing him before putting on a condescending tone “Speak up baby, he can’t hear you.” George can barely think, so fucking close to the edge he can taste it, his cock leaking and twitching with every jerk of Matty’s hand, his knuckles ghostly white where he grips the sheets, trying desperately to hold off his rapidly approaching orgasm.
“George, I want– FUCK– please, oh god fuck.” Matty’s voice cracks as you start drilling impossibly deeper into him, stretching his hole around your strap, mesmerized by how absolutely fucked out he looks even though you can barely see his face.
“Want you to cum on m’face G, please darling, please.” he slurs, eyes hooded and heavy as he twitches in your hand, threatening to cum in mere seconds if you don’t get your hands off of him. You want this to last, after all.
“So filthy, and here we thought you had a bit of dignity left in you. I don’t blame you though, baby, just look at him.” you let go of his cock, a quiet whine interrupting you, earning Matty a soft slap to the flesh of his arse.
George pants, his hair wild and eyes glazed over with lust, looking like the fucking personification of sex. Matty’s eyes light up when he nods, blinking slowly as his hands settle on his stomach, leaving Matty to do all the work for him. You can tell how much he loves the idea of finishing on Matty’s face, the thought messing with him much more than he lets on. But you know, and he knows you know.
It doesn't take anything but a few jerks of his cock and Matty batting his lashes, looking up at him with that eager, fucked out expression on his face that could make anyone give in to him to make George spill all over his face, painting his features with thick ropes of cum. George shudders violently, bucking his hips into Matty’s hand as he works him through his orgasm, sticking his tongue out to fuck with him even more.
You don't stop pounding into Matty, not even for a second, the bed shaking with the sheer force of your thrusts as Matty’s moans and whimpers go unmuffled. “M’so close, fuck, please darling, fuck me harder.” George sees him genuinely tear up, bringing his hand up to cup his face sweetly, wiping away stray tears as a wanton moan spills from his lips.
“Jesus christ, he’s–” you don't even let him finish, nodding in agreement as Matty presses his cheek into George’s hand, his please borderline incoherent by now.
“Fucking wet dream, isn’t he? Can never get used to how sweet he sounds, can I, baby?” Matty nods violently, his cock twitching and leaking precum, and you know he’s never been more ready to cum in his life. Yet, he knows he can’t, not until you allow him to.
“Pleasepleaseplease, oh god m’gonna cum, please George–” Matty uses the last of his strength to beg the one person who he knows would let him, tears rolling down his cheeks, mascara and eyeshadow mixing with his smeared lipstick as he begs for permission
“Go on doll, cum for us. I know how bad you want to, yeah? Fucking soak our sheets.” George speaks slowly, his voice rough and strong, a flash of dominance coursing through his veins right in that moment.
Matty cums, hard, writhing against the mattress, legs shaking while George's hand soothingly runs through his messed up hair, the touch comforting as his orgasm washes over him in violent, almost forceful waves.
“Look so beautiful Matty, just let go, let it all out, baby.”
You swear he’s never looked this good in your life, having taken absolutely everything you’ve given to him with an obedient nod and an eager expression, holding off until he’s made both you and George cum. You stroke his back lovingly as he goes limp against the bed, breathing heavy, his small sounds of pleasure as you pull out making you smile.
George whispers unintelligible praise, making sure he knows how good he had been for both of you, how absolutely loved he is.
“I love you so much baby, did so well for us.” you say, your tone loving and soft, peppering kisses down his spine as you slip off the harness, discarding it somewhere behind you. Matty nods weakly into George’s thigh, muttering a small “love you too,” back at you.
“Gotta get up for us, doll, need to clean you up.” Matty groans in protest to Georges implication that he should move, eventually giving in at the promise of a more comfortable, less wet sleep. You get up to get tissues, wiping the cum off his face with a giggle, earning an amused chuckle from George, who is holding Matty against his chest, stroking his hair and kissing his shoulders lovingly, showering him with the affection he most definitely deserves.
“Sleep?” Matty whispers quietly, evidently tired and half asleep already, his head resting against George’s shoulder. You nod, guiding his frame to lay down between you and George, letting your arm drape over him comfortingly.
“You were so amazing Matty, we’re both so, so proud of you.” Matty, now slightly more coherent, offers a cheeky “Yeah I know that, fucking look at the state of me.”
George lets out a girlish giggle at his words, wrapping his arm around his waist, letting Matty slowly drift off into sleep, absolutely exhausted and rightfully so, given the relentless teasing and torture you had put to poor boy through. He loved it though, and reassures you of that every chance he gets
You make eye contact with him one last time, George mouthing a barely audible “I love you,” shutting his eyes just in time to miss the massive, stupid grin plastered on your face.
Their soft snoring and the heat of their bodies beside you lulls you into a deep, comfortable sleep, peacefully surrounded by the two people you love most.

7. Who do you look up to?
for niquis!! (luv her so much...)
"Oh, a lot of people actually! Well, of course there's my dads! They're really cool, and I'm glad they found me, you know? I know I've been, ah, hard to raise, being, you know, undead and all. But hey, it's ok, they did their best! And I love dad's patience with us, when we're both getting nervous over small nothings ahah. Or big things. We just... dad and I just tend to get nervous a lot, ahah, like father like daughter. I'd like to think I took after them both, being able to hunt and taxidermize! I just. They're the ones I look up to the most, of course, and I hope they'll be proud of me when I come back home, even if they'll proooobably ground me or something... ahah... ah well!"
"There is also Hollena, the goddess of winter and storm! She's the one who brought little old me back to life as a baby somehow, and she just did it again! Well, not as a baby, I'm 22 (and yes, it means being an adult, don't listen to what the elves say-) and I got to meet her! It was like, so scary aaaah?! But ah, she's just. So cool. Like, I know she's a goddess, but... I'm glad she saved me. Even if I'm just me. I should give her more apples as soon as I can make offerings to her again."
"And last but not least, there is of course Dorian, the magician! He is SO skilled and you know, I admire him so much! I even have a poster of him in my room at home! One of the reasons I want to be a magician is thanks to him, and I've always admired him till Calaindo told us just about now that he is actually an evil litch and is using his nephew as a philo...philan... something. I feel kinda bad now, I didn't mean for my biggest magical inspiration to be ruining his life..."
"Oh and, even though we've been travelling together for only... a month and a half? Maybe? I really admire my friends. They're my first ones, and... they're just really cool, you know? They're strong and always manage to find a way out, somehow. I wish I was as strong as them, or as smart of Calaindo, or as unbothered as Corvis. Oh, and Mikal is pretty stealthy, I'm always impressed by how discreet they can be. And Agidel is so nice, always letting me hide behind her, even though I'm probably a burden... I wish I was a bit more equal to them but ah, well, I suppose it will come with age? I just need to make sure I don't die again, ahah..."

don’t bring up that tweet.. my biggest demons. the way their friends were defending them to the end like are they actually all dumb and their defensive was ‘dnfers make 3rd wheel jokes’ like if they do they get mass qrted plus sapnap litch said he finds them funny. i will never understand how they never comprehended what was wrong with the tweet. like it is so obvious, especially cause it was post dream sharing how much not being able to move affected george. too many of dnappers jokes at that point were rooted in the fact dnap we’re together and dnf weren’t but that tweet was just the one that showed it enough for ppl to get mad (but still crazily defended A LOT)
👹👹 imagine thinking that a situation that took george out of the public eye for a month and a half due to the lack of motivation and extreme sadness he was feeling is conparable to a guy telling his roommate and best friend that he's fucked up for thirdwheeling him in the middle of a youtube video

“You, Taako Taaco, are a liar.”
Taako looks up at the Grand Auditor with all his abject terror frozen into flippant contempt.
The Auditor sneers, leaning forward on his throne. “There isn’t so much as a wisp of necromancy clinging to your being.”
With a wry sort of smile Taako looks the human up and down. “Some of us have hidden depths, my man.” He just needs to buy time. Enough time for Magnus and Lucretia to destroy the lab with the regeneration pod and for Davenport and Merle to hide Barry and Lup somewhere far, far away. Somewhere where the Auditor’s reapers won’t find them. Out of the city, if they can manage to get over the wall.
The Auditor rises from his seat, the raven feathers on his cloak ruffling with the sudden movement. “Your sister died,” he growls. “I have read the reports. She died exactly three months ago and yet-” He taps at the hourglass with Lup’s name on it, still full of glistening sand streaming merrily downward. “Here she is.” His pale eyes spark furiously. “And you’re trying to tell me that you – a little fool of a transmuting cook – singlehandedly brought her back from the dead?”
Taako’s insides twist. No one is getting their hands on his stupid litch sister. No one is laying a finger on his stupid necromancer brother. No one. They can do with him whatever they want. “Ya,” he sneers. “That’s what I’ve been telling you, right? You p—”
“No. He didn’t.”
The blood freezes in Taako’s veins. He knows that voice.
Kravitz is standing to attention in the doorway to the interrogation chamber. He is looking at the Auditor with restrained respect and Taako feels as if someone just stuck a knife between his ribs. Kravitz. The only Reaper that was willing to listen to them. The only Reaper that had responded to their heretic claim that they did not believe the Grand Auditor still operated on the mandate of the Raven Queen with a harrowed “you’re right”. The only Reaper they had trusted enough to tell him that they had not been able to find any devotee of the Goddess of Death that had been able to truly commune with their Queen for years, and who had answered this with a grey-faced “I know.”
And now he’s here, bowing to that two-faced, stupidly dressed, tyrant like none of it ever happened.
The Auditor grins, his shoulders broadening with triumph, until Kravitz suddenly continues:
“I did.”
Taako does not manage to keep a straight face, which is a bloody rookie mistake, but it doesn’t matter. The Auditor isn’t looking at him, he’s gawking at Kravitz.
“You what?”
Kravitz stands in front of him, unflinching. “We all get three passes, he says tensely. “Three opportunities to sow instead of reap.”
Even through his bewilderment Taako feels a stab of fury. Of course. Of course they are allowed to toy with the rules of life and death.
“I have never made use of it,” Kravitz continues, his dark eyes fixed on the Auditor with a strange sort of force. “Bringing back Lup Taaco is my first invocation of the privilege.”
All of the Auditor’s features seem to bulging out at once with anger. “And on what grounds do you expect to justify this invocation?” he spits.
Taako just catches Kravitz’ eyes darting in his direction with a look of frantic, desperate apology.
“Personal gain,” he replies, sounding far calmer than what Taako just saw in him. “I thought bringing back the sister was as good a way as any to court the brother.”
A single split second Taako floats in a void of shock, and then he breaks out his most self-satisfied smile. “And a good thing too, I wouldn’t have settled for anything less.” He smoothly sidles up to Kravitz and links his arm with his. “A handsome face alone is not enough to get a crack at all this, you know.”
The Auditor is spluttering, all but choking on his objections, and Taako knows why. The Auditor doesn’t possess anything even close to the magical prowess that his reapers do. That’s what he employs them for. That’s why they get privileges. He needs them. Kravitz – Taako has to begrudgingly admit – has made a pretty brilliant move here.
Well, no use half-assing things. That’s absolutely not the Taaco way. Unless it’s boring responsibilities, of course, but pretending to be the Grim Reaper’s new flame does not – whatever else it might turn out to be – boring. So Taako deliberately leans his head against Kravitz’ shoulder, idly blowing one of the raven feathers adorning his dreads out of his face. “You could have told me about the ‘reapers get a free pass’ thing, babe. I’ve been behaving like a major doofus in front of your boss there.”
For a horrified moment it feels like Kravitz is actually going to freeze up, but then he suddenly pulls him a little closer and hums:
“My apologies, I really wasn’t expecting you to give yourself up like this.” He glances at the Auditor. “But I’m sure His Honour will forgive you, now we’ve explained the situation.”
Taako doesn’t have a reply to that, mostly because Kravitz just did something weird and purr-like with his voice that he’s never heard before and that’s currently stuck in his chest somewhere. But if he’s going to keep this thing up long enough to get his family out of trouble, he had better get used to that. And as for that furious, helpless look on the Auditor’s face, he could definitely get used to that.

A summer knight
Chapter 1/8:
It was a perfectly beautiful day before everything went to shit.
The sun shined, the birds sang. If there was ever a good time to be out hunting for monsters—this was it.
Of course, there was never a good time to hunt for monsters.
Geralt steadied his sword and locked gazes with the fey-hound, it’s silver eyes challenging the witcher to attack first. Geralt was already dripping with the blue inners of the first beast brave enough to strike. He seized his opening and rushed at the monster. His silvered sword reflected the warm sunlight as it came crashing down, almost separating the hound’s head from its neck.
He heard a yelp from behind him. Quickly, Geralt turned to see the final beast pinning Jaskier against a tree. It was advancing slowly and let out a low growl as it sized up its prey.
“Nice doggy, good doggy! I’m really not very tasty—mostly just bones. Shit,” He paused his babbling, “dogs like bones. Geralt! Help!” Jaskier yelled, shielding his lute behind his body.
Geralt huffed. That stupid bard would rather die than let anything happen to that damnable lute.
The fey-hound was only a few paces away from Jaskier now. Its chest expanded as its lung filled with Jaskier’s scent, like it was sampling a fine whiskey before downing the glass. The beast paused for a terrible moment, giving Geralt a window. He ran towards the hound, hoping he had enough time before it lunged.
Instead, the beast remained in place. Rather than attack, it raised up its head, flesh stretching too tightly over horn and bone, and let out a terrible howl.
Both Geralt and Jaskier dropped to their knees as the sound ripped through the forest. The howl crashed through his skull, his heightened senses all screaming out and adding to the cacophony. All he could do was cover his ears with his hands, his sword now lying uselessly a few feet away.
Why were jobs so much more complicated when the bard was involved?
Geralt should have been realized trouble was coming when he ran into Jaskier earlier that day. They had parted ways a while back. Jaskier had some fancy party, and Geralt had to be anywhere else.
Their parting had resulted in gone months of blissful silence. Just him, Roach, and a bunch of dead monsters. Geralt had been on the road for a week before coming to any semblance of civilization. Out of hunger, and desperate need for a bath, he decided to stop in a town which looked like every small town before it.
There was little point in even learning the name. Trying to keep the ‘bergs’ straight would likely take more time than he spent in most places. Small towns came with small problems and small payments. Life was uncomplicated. The reward money was enough to get a few nights at a warm inn, if he was lucky.
However, sometimes an old ghost story turned out to be more Litch than tall tale. A very pissed off Litch. Those were the jobs that made Geralt weary of taking an ‘old family heirloom’ as payment. Potions costs money, and grandma’s fake pearls won’t do the apothecary any good. So here he was, in need of work, to get some coin, to pay for lodging so he could survive the next job. What a life. The old bar was packed for a mid-afternoon. Geralt had half expected to be chased out or given a hard time. Usually he had better luck blending in with the locals once everyone had already had a few pints.
In broad daylight, thigs were different. His otherness contrasted with small town life and he rarely gave any mind to being asked to leave with less than kind words. Things had gotten better following the Bards ‘public relations’ efforts, but still he was as likely to be on the sharp end of a pick fork as he was a job.
Two dozen people were crowded inside the tiny tavern. All of them transfixed on the musician seated opposite the bar. No one had even turned to look at him looming in the doorway. Geralt hadn’t paid the performer any mind. He saddled up to the bar.
“What can I get you, friend?” The bar keeper asked over his shoulder, without so much a glance.
“Ale,” Geralt grumbled, “And a job.” His voice was horse from weeks of disuse. Roach wasn’t the most vocal companion.
The barkeep poured ale from the cask and turned to face the witcher, he didn’t look surprised by Gerald appearance. In fact, he looked amused.
“I didn’t know the Bard’s White Wolf was traveling with him. I’m sure the ladies will be pleased.” The man cocked a bushy eyebrow as he slid the mug over.
Geralt huffed. “I not traveling with anyone.”
“Well then it’s quite the coincidence. The bards been crooning about the White Wolf for a week or so and the young lads and ladies have been eating it up.” He gestured over to where the music is coming from with his chin. “I can’t complain though, good for business.”
Geralt turned and listened. He still couldn’t see the bard, but he had doubt about who it was. The lute playing was exquisite. Geralt knew fuck all about music, but he doubted many traveling musicians could play like they were trained at Oxenfurt.
“I do have something up your alley, witcher.” The man leaned in. “There’s been wild dogs heard in the woods. Terrible things, it started a few nights back and people are already losing their herds.” “Get a huntsman.” Geralt grumbled. He wasn’t about to start killing wolves for coppers. It wasn’t worth the trouble.
The barkeep shook his head, “You misunderstand. These aren’t dogs. Old man Richardson saw them eat a whole cow. Said they had great horns and devil’s tails-- like they crawled out of hell.” “They only come out at night?”
“No, people have been seeing them at twilight. I think we could get a pool going if you get rid of them. We don’t have much but the wool trade has been pretty good. I figure we could cobble together 50 gold.”
Geralt looked him in the eye and gave him a nod. The barkeep looked relieved.
“thank you, Master witcher.”
He took a swig of ale. Dogs with tails, fine. Dogs with horns? Less fine. Hopefully the old man was half blind and this would be the easiest 50 gold Geralt had ever made.
Geralt sat back on his stool and took a moment to listen, really listen to Jaskier’s playing. Might as well enjoy something about the bard’s evadible company.
He had to admit it was beautiful. More so, it was textured. The bass notes thrummed with life, while the high intricate melodies wove a bird’s song. Did Jaskier always play like this? Geralt felt the tune tug at his chest, like the ocean waves pulling him from shore. Maybe so long in silence wasn’t good for him after all.
It wasn’t long before the solo ended and the gathered crowd erupted in applause.
“Thank you, thank you. Remember to tip your bar keep.” Jaskier laughed over the clapping and hollering. “I’ll be back later tonight for another set! See you all again soon!”
Slowly the crowd dispersed. A moment later, Geralt was acutely aware of a presence standing behind him.
“Do my eyes deceive me, or is that Geralt of Rivia day drinking?” A hand clapped him on the shoulder. “How have you been you big wolf! Kill anything worth writing about?” Jaskier plopped onto a stool next to Geralt. He was glowing from an after performance high. His face was lightly flushed, Geralt could see the faint pink of his cheeks deepening to a dark red lower below his shirt-
Geralt downed his drink.
“Ah yes, excellent Idea. Francis,” He gestured to the bartender, “me and my dashing companion would like another round.”
Geralt waved a hand, stopping the barkeep “No. I need to get to the woods before dusk.”
Jaskier lit up. “A hunt! Geralt, can I come? It been so long since I have seen you in action. I miss the swoosh of your blade, the ways your muscles ripple under your—“
Geralt coughed. The keeper was suddenly very interested in cleaning a glass at the opposite side of the bar.
“You can’t come, it’s dangerous. I don’t even know what these things are.”
“Even more reason to have me along! I can be there to chronical the beast. You’ll be too busy,” Jaskier paused to think, “Stabbing and slashing?” He offered, “I’ll be there observing. When have I ever gotten in your way?”
Geralt could think of at least 50 times the bard had gotten in his way.
Instead he grunted in resignation.
“Oh thank you Geralt! You won’t regret it!”
The terrible howl continued to rip through the forest. Yet, the beast made no move to attack.
Against his instincts, Geralt managed to scramble to his feet. He grabbed for his blade and charged the creature. He used his shoulder and knocked it to its side, stopping the horrible sound.
The hound righted itself and focused its attention on the witcher. It reared up on its hind legs, its teeth pulled back into a hideous snarl, ready to pounce.
In a flash, it lunged. Geralt deflected the beast and used his momentum to cleave the outstretched limb. The hound fell back with an infernal cry. Jaskier side-stepped to avoid being struck by the newly liberated leg.
“Watch it!” Jaskier yelled. He swiped some blue blood off his doublet.
Geralt grunted and steadied his blade. The hound was bleeding, yet it looked as if it would make another attack. He didn’t give it a chance.
With the last of his speed, Geralt drove his sword through the creature’s neck. It dropped to the ground. Blue blood soaked the earth underneath.
The two panted for a moment, catching their breath.
“What, pray tell, are those?” Jaskier asked. He poked at the dead hound’s skull with his boot.
Geralt had the unfortunate displeasure of know exactly what these things were.
“Fey hounds.” He grumbled. Geralt started cutting off one of the beasts heads. It was slow going. His blade didn’t work well on Feycreatures. He was going to need iron, a lot of it. Hopefully one head would be enough to show he killed the pack. “ It’s not good. They don’t usually leave the Feywilds. They definitely don’t leave the Feywilds to eat sheep.”
“So why are they here, Geralt?” Jaskier seemed curious.
Geralt shrugged. Usually Feyhouds meant that the Fey were not close behind. He had his dealing with The Courts before, and decided that the least interaction the better. Of course, he probably wouldn’t get his way. The howl was a signal. Signaling what, Geralt hadn’t the foggiest.
The only thing he knew that he needed to collect his payment and leave this town so that it could be another witcher’s problem.
“I thought fairies were stories?” Jaskier asked, innocently. “My mother used to tell me the most delightful--
Geralt raised a hand, cutting him off. “Don’t call them that. And the Fae are never delightful” He stood up and stuffed the head in a bag.
“People say that about witchers, and I find you quite charming.”
Geralt rolled his eyes, and started making his way back to town.

Before getting into this theory I wanna credit Charles J. Thomas’s “The True Identity of Creepy Luz” (https://youtu.be/06s617yAVH8) and “Emperor Belos is a Possessed Human” video (https://youtu.be/0rCn0flI0rg), It’s Rebecca Rose’s Who Was the Other Human on the Boiling Isles” video (https://youtu.be/ptuMZK73yis), and Roundtable’s “Everything is Different Now! Keeping Up A-Fear-ances Breakdown” video (https://youtu.be/QgoY98JmKbw) for inspiration. Also let’s get some stuff out of the way before getting into the main topic.
Time Between the Human Realm and Demon Realm
Let’s assume time flows the same in the Human Realm and Demon Realm. Near the end of “Keeping Up A-Fear-ances” Luz was worried her mom would miss her because summer camp is over which means she has been in the Boiling Isles for more than 2-3 months which means time in the Boiling Isles passes the same as the Human Realm. Old Human is dated to have lived on the Boiling Isles during Gwendolyn’s great-grandmothers time which is roughly over 100 years ago. The only possibility of Old Human being alive is if the rift causing leaks does not follow time. It seems the portal stabilizes that discrepancy but that information is not known yet. We do know the portal does not have discrepancies in time so time in the Boiling Isles and Human Realm are the same.
Tumblr media
Cabin
The cabin is where the portal seems to open in the Human Realm. It is very old, run down, and in the middle of the woods. This implies it has been there for a while. The cabin could have been made by Old Human or another human related to him (blood or partnership). It could have been used as a camouflage so the entry point to the portal does not look odd or out of place. It seems that is the entry point to the Human Realm where the Demon Realm is anywhere the user is in the Demon Realm.
What We Know About Old Human
Lived in Bonesborough during Gwendolyn’s great-grandmother’s era so he is at least over 100 years old. He probably stayed on the Boiling Isles for a while until he suddenly vanished. Came to the Demon Realm from Titan’s Blood, a rare and powerful substance that causes leaks. However, humans rarely get caught in the leaks, Old Human may have been the only human sighted from what we know. The only clue we have of him is in the library we will see next episode.
Tumblr media
Portal
The portal Eda had was very old and was found buried hastily in an unknown location at the Clawthorne residence. When Eda first found it, it appeared to have a large gash across its eye. The portal could have been made by Old Human and something must have happened to the portal to sustain that much damage and be buried half haphazardly. Maybe he tried to destroy the portal but was unsuccessful or Old Human fought something/someone who damaged the portal (maybe used it as a shield) and had to hide it quickly.
Now let’s get to the main theory: Old Human’s disappearance and the possibility of other humans knowing about the Demon Realm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1) Old Human Went Back to the Human Realm
The Titan’s Blood could have acted up and transported him back to the Human Realm. Upon his return, he recorded his adventures on the Boiling Isles and maybe even a warning that something evil or bad is at play that was passed through generations. After his passing, two humans could have been involved in finding the Demon Realm and researching strange phenomena in the Human Realm. There is a possibility one or both could be related to Old Human or have no blood relation and just happen to find his records of the Demon Realm. One could have been an author who wrote the Good Witch Azura using the Demon Realm as reference while the other could be the inventor and scientist who tried to find the Demon Realm either out of curiosity or obligation. Both were researching magical beings caused by leaks from the Demon Realm but maybe for different reasons. One day, the inventor was taken away by the Titan’s Blood side effect on one of their expeditions and the author either watched or assumed what happened. The inventor may have gotten possessed/infused by the mural monster through force or a deal and is masquerading as a messenger to the Titan, Emperor Belos. This would explain how Belos has knowledge of the Human Realm, uses technology instead of magic, uses a barrier blocking everyone except humans in the Conformatorium, and using Palisman to stop aging and retain his humanoid form. The author may not know what is happening. They could have seen Eda a few times, but Eda can be crafty and probably was sneaky in the Human Realm. So it is highly unlikely they know their partner is Belos. The author could have started inventing and researching to find their friend but may have written Good Witch Azura to fund their endeavors. While desperately researching to find their partner, the author may have spotted Luz going through the cabin and assumed she has a connection to the Human Realm and Demon Realm. Through research and inventing, the author could have made Creepy Luz (robot/android?) to find out more about her and hopefully more about their partner’s disappearance. Until Camila finds out and that may be some drama to look forward to. There are loopholes in this theory. If the Titan’s Blood did not transport Old Human back, how was he able to get to the Human Realm if he buried the portal? Why create Creepy Luz to gain information when research and evidence of the Demon Realm is already in the Human Realm? Plus why seek out the Demon Realm in the first place unless there is a secret organization?
2) Old Human Became Possessed and is Emperor Belos
https://youtu.be/06s617yAVH8 Link to “Belos is a Possessed Human” by Charles J. Thomas because he did a beautiful job theorizing this. I do have some additions to this theory.
From the clip in the trailer, the mural from “Echoes of the Past”, and the word puppet from the secret code in “Keeping Up A-Fear-ances, we can speculate Emperor Belos is being possessed or has infused something from the mural monster (will be called that for now). If Old Human is still alive, Belos could be using Palisman to stop further aging and to maintain his form. If the Old Human is dead, could be using Palisman to stop the corpse from rotting as well as maintain his form. Now if Old Human is dead, AwestruckVox’s (Roundtable) theory of Belos being a Litch is possible as he is no longer human but a dead corpse being possessed. However, it seems Emperor Belos cannot leave his castle since we have never seen him outside of it. Why is that? Well there is that heart above his throne room. Most have thought it could be the Titan’s heart but it’s pretty small or could be the Bile Sac but it is unknown if the Titan has one. From Jame’s video, it could very well be the mural monster’s heart. If that is the case, Belos may not be able to leave because straying too far from the heart could either sever his connection to Old Human or leave it defenseless. This could explain why he hasn’t gone to the library to destroy the info. Before being completely taken over, Old Human may have recorded their findings/records of the Boiling Isles and was able to send it to the Human Realm. The relative or other human in the Human Realm could have stumbled upon it and passed it on through future generations. This sole human is a magic researcher, inventory, and maybe author (Azura and Unauthorized History?). Was able to find Eda through the portal doorway but did not go through or had a chance too. This human could have made the cabin to camouflage the entryway. While checking out the cabin, could have seen Luz go through the portal and thought she had a connection to the Demon Realm despite being a human. The Other Human (nickname for now) decided to create Creepy Luz (robot/android/clone?) and get as much information as they can about the Demon Realm. They could be wanting information on the Demon Realm to either protect the Human Realm,  they want to know what happened to Old Human, or just curiosity. Again there are holes. Depending on when the portal was created, it is unknown if he was possessed before or after it was invented. Why would the future generation look for the Demon Realm unless by secret organization motives or selfish curiosity. Still age discrepancy on Mural Monster and Old Human unless Mural Monster went into hiding or time is different when using Titan’s Blood without the portal.
3) Old Human Could be a Time Traveler
This theory is very far-fetched and out there but if Creepy Luz was proven real in the series, honestly anything can happen at this point. Again it is unclear if Titan’s Blood messed up time between Human Realm and Demon Realm. We do know the portal door seems to keep time flowing normally between the two realms. However, what if there was a possibility Old Human could manipulate time using the portal door? That does sound more like science fiction than magic, but time travel can be possible with magic and has been explored in fantasy genres. Plus if Belos can use technology to mimic magic abilities, time travel is not impossible. If the portal can travel between worlds then it could also time travel. This means Old Human could be the author of Good Witch Azura and The Unauthorized History of the Boiling Isles. Old Human could have had a partner in the Human Realm during his travels. However, the partner may have entered the Boiling Isles one day and suddenly got possessed or infused by the weakened Mural Monster. After a confrontation, Old Human could have hidden the damaged portal and gone into hiding. All of this to protect the Human Realm from Emperor Belos. Unfortunately, Emperor Belos not only has his hands on the portal but probably got the information from the Other Human possessed or information from the library. Now for how Creepy Luz came to be, there could be another human in the Human Realm that knows or an organization (not the camp) who knows and created Creepy Luz to either cover their tracks or learn more about the Demon Realm. This theory is a stretch and there are holes. This theory can only be plausible if time travel is possible. There is a possibility Old Human is not alive anymore and may have perished before using the portal. If Old Human wanted to protect the Human Realm, why leave crucial information about making portals in the library?
One thing is clear, Old Human and Belos are connected. Old Human’s importance is to help Luz find a way back to the Human Realm but he is also important in finding out the mysteries of this series (not right away but a clue to it). There may even be a hint as to what Belos’s “Day of Unity” entails. We have only scratched the surface from “Keeping Up A-Fear-ances” and we are going to learn a bit more in “Through The Looking Glass Ruins”.

Books “Read” in 2020
Previous entries: 2019, 2018, 2017
I don’t rank these based on actual literary quality, but by how much i enjoyed reading/listening to them. Hopefully with Audible’s new “Premium Included” feature it would cut down on so many Average/Below Average books next year, it’ll give me more of a choice on what kind of books/podcasts i want to listen to rather than given a handful to pick from a month.
The “Top 10″
Forging Hephaestus / Bones of the Past: Villains' Code Series - Drew Hayes has became one of my fav authors over the past couple years, from his Vampire Accountant series, 5-min Sherlock, and his Spells, Swords, and Stealth books. FH is one of the few times he wrote Adult Fiction. This is the second time Drew created a world of super heroes (the YA Superpowereds), thus previous experience in dealing with the nuisances and meta of super meta dynamics. I love the main character, Tori, and especially love many of the side characters (like Ivan) and the comedy is the right tone of dark and not-in-your-face (not quite as well -written as something like The Venture Bros or The Tick, but being adult fiction you can get away with having characters named Johnny Three-Dicks and Captain Bullshit)
Dreadnought / Sovereign - the second super hero series I’ve placed on my top list this year, this one is Young Adult. This one is far more serious and deals heavily in issues like trans and women’s rights, mental abuse, and social acceptance. The main character is full of angst, but that should be a given for a 15 yo with lots of mental baggage and new social pressures. The main character is the main draw, most of the side characters are a bit more one-dimensional.
The Trouble with Peace: Age of Madness, Book 2. It isn’t a “First Law” book if you don’t want to strangle half of the main characters. Many are stepping outside of the shadow of the previous generation and finding themselves falling flat on their faces. If they aren’t at each other’s throats, they would soon have to deal with rebellion in the streets and the constant looming presence of Bayaz, who waits to sweep the board clear and rearrange the pieces the way he sees fit.
Michael J. Sullivan’s: The Riyria and Legend of the First Empire Books.
Riyria Revelations: Theft of Swords / Rise of Empire / Heir of Novron
Riyria Chronicles: The Crown Tower / The Rose and Thorn / The Death of Dulgath
Age of Death / Age of Empyre, Pile of Bones
After finishing the Legend of the First Empire books that came out earlier this year, I went ahead and read the prior series that takes place in the same world. I would suggest reading the entire series by Publish order, but they can be read Chronologically. I read the Legends books first, and it helped me see where Sullivan was heading and when he started to plan out the Legends books in more detail. (The early cameo of the Main characters from Legends in a mural in Heir of Novron, and knowing who is behind the events in Dulgath)
The Dresden Files: Peace Talks / Battle Grounds - They really should be read as one book, because that was how they were written. It is a Feast of Crows / Dances with Dragons situation, where the book got too long and got split up. The fans are pretty divided by the book(s) ending and how some of the main characters are handled, but these are Jim Butcher’s characters not theirs and he can drop bridges on whom ever he wants.
What Lies Beyond: Cycle of Galand, Book 6 - This is a “mythology” book (like Sullivan’s Age of Death was) where it introduces most of the Pantheon of their religion and corrects much of the mythology that had been lost over the decades. They seek a weapon to vanquish the Litch and save their world and the afterlife from oblivion, but not all of their Gods are happy about it.
Will Destroy the Galaxy for Cash - Yahtzee (Zero Punctuation!) has to be one of my favorite internet personalities for the past 10+ years, and I eat up every book he puts out and because he wrote the books, and is an actor himself, he could deliver the lines as they are intended to be. The sequel to Will Save the Galaxy for Food does not disappoint and even ups the stakes from the previous book.
The Girl Who Drank the Moon - This has to be one of the most charming books I’ve read. It is magic and wonder at it’s finest, no need for long explanations on how the world works. If you like Ghibli movies, you’ll be interested in this book. It has its dark moments but isn’t outside of what you’ll find in something like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicca.
The Goblin Emperor - the youngest son of the Elf King finds himself emperor after the death of his father and brothers in an assassination. The only problem is, that he is only half-elf... his late mother was a Goblin, and he had been in exile as an embarrassment to the family for most of his life. He knows nothing of how the courts work and what’s left of his own family work against him just for being who he is.
Lost Gods: Brom - I liked this book more than I did American Gods (which I read a few years ago). It is darker and bleaker by the bucket loads. One of the few books with a downer ending that I actually liked. I would compare this book to books like All the Pretty Horses and No Country for Old Men-- but it is a Fantasy!
Above Average.
Siege Tactics (Spells, Swords, & Stealth. Book 4)  - What happens to adventurers after they retire? A fun concept that is explored with our party of NPCs running across a town full of epic-level characters that no longer have a player.
The Arthurian Saga - The Crystal Cave / The Hollow Hills  / The Last Enchantment / The Wicked Day - A more realistic version of the Arthurian tales, taking the POV of Merlin, bastard son of a princess, as he earns notoriety as a scholar and wizard.  The Wicked Day takes the POV of Mordred, making him far more sympathetic than other iterations of his character.
Arc of a Scythe - Scythe / Thunderhead / The Toll - Science and Technology eliminates death and in order to prevent over population and complacency an order of grim reapers are chosen to randomly deal out quotas of permanent deaths. An example of what happens when every need and want is satisfied by a higher force and the apathy that causes rot in human society and the superiority complex of those in charge of life and death.
The Diviners / Lair of Dreams / Before the Devil Breaks You / The King of Crows - Horror during the Roaring 20′s. Tackles issues as Racism, Poverty, Government Secrecy, Christian-Evangelical Cults, Nationalism Cult Mentality, Communism, Labor Unions, Eugenics, Post-WW1 trauma... It could almost pass as an adult fiction book. I wouldn’t recommend giving it to someone under High school age.
Ancillary Justice / Ancillary Sword / Ancillary Mercy - Artificial Intelligence takes over human bodies as a form of capital punishment, controlling ships and space stations. The dominate human empire outgrew the need to label any gender, using “she” to refer to everyone rather than the vaguer “them/they” pronouns, and only outlying colonies stick to the binary ideals. Think of “The Left Hand of Darkness” but on a more broader scale and as the default majority/ruling empire. Toss in a solid military action novel on top and it isn’t nearly as boring as Left Hand.
Children of Time / Children of Ruin - War destroys the human population of Earth and those that remain are the ones that headed out to the stars on tera-forming missions. A virus created to advance life forms to prepare a world for human habitation runs amuck with out its overseers, creating intelligent arachnids, crustaceans, and squid.
The Licanius Trilogy - The Shadow of What Was Lost / An Echo of Things to Come / The Light of all that Falls -  It is very heavy on info overload, there is a lot to keep track of, so much so there is a summary of book one and two at the start of the third. I like the twist at the end of the first book and that the villain is actually trying to help save the world, and you spend most of the second stuck between who thinks they are doing the right thing and who is actually doing the right thing - a lot to talk about doing the lesser of two evils.
Mythos - Steven Fry - A humorous retelling of Greek mythology. I read Mythology - by Edith Hamilton prior to this book, which is a more scholarly take on the myths, and helps if you are unfamiliar with classical mythology prior to reading Fry’s take on it.
Iron, Fire and Ice: The Real History That Inspired Game of Thrones - a nice history book about Iron Age royalty. It is actually refreshing to read after going through so much faux fiction that is in Philippa Gregory’s books.
Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? - Children ask questions to a Mortician about death and what happens to bodies after people die. I listened to her autobiography last year/year before and it is worth picking up this one along with it.
Average, but still good.
Jack Campbell’s Lost Fleet Universe: Triumphant (Genesis Fleet, Book 3) / Tarnished Knight: Lost Stars, book 1 - The realistic space battles just drag me back in each and every time.
The Case of the Damaged Detective: 5-Minute Sherlock - Drew Hayes can’t write a boring book. It isn’t quite on point as his other series, but still fun to read. Hayes is really good at making YA books with Adult Protagonists. It is a road-trip book, the main character is a washed-out operative that is getting his second chance playing bodyguard and future assistant to the 5-minute Sherlock.
Locked In / Head On - Do you remember “Surrogates”? that Bruce Willis movie where people walk around in robotic avatars, well... it’s almost the same thing. A virus kills millions, save for a select few that experience “lock in” syndrome and are able to connect to robots via their brains and the internet.  The main character is gender neutral and you get a choice to listen to the book with a male or female reader.
Murder by Other Means: The Dispatcher Book 2 - more John Scalzi! The first book was in my top list a few years ago, and i enjoyed the sequel just as much. Between Scalzi’s The Dispatcher and Locked In series, i like the Dispatcher more.
The Shattered Sea Trilogy: Half a King / Half the World / Half a War - Joe Abercrombie’s attempt to make Young Adult books. It keeps all the grim dark, but lacks all the swearing and humor that made The First Law books more enjoyable. Many of Joe’s favorite character tropes are still present and is one of the better “Fall to Darkness” stories I’ve read. It also has different POV characters each book and is one of those “faux fantasy” settings.
Mage Errant: Books 1, 2 & A Traitor in Skyhold: Book 3 - If you are wanting to get away from Harry Potter, pick up this book series. It takes place in magic school, but it is its own world and setting and not just a hidden world within our own. The main group of kids are misfits among the school, unable to master their powers, that get taken up by the badass librarian to be trained in more unconventional ways.
Dawn of Wonder: The Wakening Book 1 - the main character has ptsd from growing up in an abusive household, and i thought it was handled rather well. He would be rather competent and cleaver most of the time until he gets triggered into an episode, he fights really hard to overcome this short-falling of his. Standard classic affair else wise, family leaves home because the local authority figure doesn’t want them around anymore, goes to big city, kid wants to do good and avenge the deaths he was accused of, joins the badass school of hard knocks...  big powerful evil thing trying to consume the world.
The Rage of Dragons - It shares a lot of tropes and story points with Red Rising... just in a fantasy setting, not in space. If you are wanting fantasy with POC main characters and a non-European-centric culture, that doesn’t pull any punches, give it a shot.
Earthsea - Tehanu and Tales from Earthsea - I had read the first three books several years back, and i did re-read them in order to refresh myself prior to reading the final two.
The Secret Garden - I absolutely loved the movie from the 90′s as a kid, and finally got around to listening to the book.
Six of Crows - A heist book in fantasy world with the magic users being heavily “Jewish / Slavic” coded by how they are treated and persecuted. I might have thought more favorably about the book if i hadn’t read other books with “street rat slum” main characters. (Seriously, after spending six books with Royce in Riyria someone like Kas is just second bananas)
Unconventional Heroes / Two Necromancers - Comedic Fantasy, the humor’s not on par with say MogWorld, and has more jokes than Fred The Vampire Accountant. It is still a parody of villains and heroes in fantasy worlds. I would find it safe for a 12/13yo to read, cursing and all, though they might not be aware of many of the tropes that are being deconstructed. The reader of the book did better in this one then he did with Six of Crows and Beezer, still the audio needed some editing because it repeats itself a few times.
Once More Upon A Time (Free Audio Book)  - I don’t always care to read romance stories. I like the idea behind it however, to trade their love for each other in order to save their partner’s life, then learn to re-love one another again.
Monster Hunter International - If you think Dresden is too liberal, this takes a hard turn to the right.. replace the magic with GUNS, lots and lots of GUNS. An organization that hates the government but hunts monsters for government bounties. The main cast is multi-ethnic and they do make fun of that at one point. There isn’t a lot of thought into the plot, because action is #1, but it is fun enough to ignore the politicking.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Collection - i bitched about there not being an omnibus last year, and then Audible uploaded one. The ending is still one big clusterfuck.
Stephen King’s Insomnia - this book is the bridge between Steven King’s two universes. It is a sequel to IT and brings up the Darktower often. IT dealt mainly with childhood fears, Insomnia deals with Elderly and feminine fears.
D’Arc / Culdesac: War with No Name - I liked D’Arc more than i did Mort-e, and Culdesac is more on track with Mort-e. The virus that mutated the ants and animals reminded me of the virus from Children of Time/Ruin, even though i read Mort-e first, reading D’Arc after CoT let me notice it.
Michael McDowell’s:  The Amulet / The Elementals / Gilded Needles / Blackwater - From the guy that wrote the screenplay of Beetlejuice, and the pioneer of the Southern Gothic Horror. Gilded Needles is a bit out of place, taking place in 1890′s, and is more of a social horror rather than a super natural horror the other books are.
Gardens of the Moon: The Malazan Book of the Fallen, Book 1 - high fantasy dark fiction. if you really want some CHONKY door stoppers, there’s over 10 of them in this series. Could’ve done less with the manipulative bastard mage that speaks in 3rd person. I had read The Willful Child, an attempted comedy science fiction novel by the same author, and it showed that the author was unfamiliar with that kind of genera and should stick to grim fantasy.
The Knife’s Edge / Citadel of Fire: The Ronin Saga - This is one of those series that I’m always going “oh, that reminds me of [insert another better series]”  At times it reminded me of The Licanius Trilogy, Shades of Magic, Arc of Scythe, Riyria, Korra... It is just shy of being as good as them, and is rather firmly in that Sci-Fi Fantasy Ghetto and has a bit of “anime” feel to it with their magic users having ‘power levels’ and the power creep.
In Calabria - My only problem with the book is the massive age-gap between the Main character and his love interest. Outside of that, the whole Unicorns in the modern world concept is done very well.
Pout Neuf (Audible Free Book)  - Journalism and romance during WW2. A quick read and the book really shows that research had been done about the setting and time period.
Nut Jobs: Cracking California's Strangest $10 Million Dollar Heist: An Audible Original - Not only does it talk about the heist, it actually touches on the subject of migrant farmers and slave labor, as well as the desertification of the California Valley.
The Science of Sci-Fi: From Warp Speed to Interstellar Travel (Free Audio Book) - a neat little informative podcast if you are looking for an introduction to some of the harder science fiction.
Mythology - by Edith Hamilton - Text book about Greek Mythology. Like “used in schools” text book. It is a good read if you don’t want to go through Ovid, Virgil, Homer, and all the other classical writers on your own.
The Space Race: An Audible Original - America didn’t win the Space Race. Russia did just about everything first. The only thing we did first was put people on the moon. It also goes into detail about how the inventor of the Nazi’s V2 rockets became employed with the US Space program. As well as the government’s announcement to let space travel become privatized.
Pale Blue Dot / Cosmos: A Personal Voyage - It’s Carl Sagan. Come on! Everyone should be reading them. Pale Blue Dot was being turned into an Audiobook in the 90′s but with Sagan’s death, only the first few chapters were read by him and his partner reads the rest of it (she does a decent job, and i understand why they wanted her to read it, it should’ve been done similarly to Cosmos, with guest readers doing each chapter)
Thicker Than Water (Free Audio Book)  - start up pharmaceutical company scams people out of millions with promises of a miracle machine that was ahead of its time. Story told from the whistleblower himself as he recounts what his job was within the company and how he knew the owner/founder of the company and how coming out about what was going on ruined his relationship with his family and friends.
Don't Panic: Douglas Adams and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - biography on Douglas Adams and the history behind the creative process behind the Hitchhiker’s Guide series.
The Genius of Birds - It reminded me a lot of “The Soul of an Octopus” in quality. It is rather informative about birds, how they behave, and how we judge intelligence in non-human animals.
It’s “ok.”
Les Miserabes - I can see why people favor movies and theater versions because of how dense the book is, getting the cliff notes version of the book instead of reading several chapters about the Battle of Waterloo.
Viva Durant and the Secret of the Silver Buttons (Audible Free Book) - It’s cute, and I spent the next several weeks humming that freaking song.
Challenger Deep - A book about mental illness by the same person that brought us The Arc of a Scythe series. It isn’t a bad read, but if you are prone to get panic attacks and have mental illness yourself, you might get too into it and make you uneasy. It can help with neurotypical people with understanding how some illnesses work.
Into the Wilds (Warriors, Book 1)  - Ah, the cat book. It is prob because there are soooo many books in this series that it over-saturates the kids impressionable minds.
House of Teeth (Audible Free Book)  - I read this book prior to Monster Hunter International, and thinking back on this one, i am reminded about the other. Save for this one is PG. So... the kid friendly version.
The Martian Chronicles - Space Horror, on Mars. If you like old science fiction, like Classic Trek, Wells, or Forbidden Planet stuff. There is a lot of zerust.
Andrea Vernon and the Corporation for UltraHuman Protection - The third superhero series I’ve read this past year. It is not as ground breaking nor subversive as Villain’s Code or Dreadnought. The humor is a bit too forced and parts of it falls into “we can be more offensive because it is an adult book” category.
Interview with the Robot - Don’t really care for books or programs that are set up in the “interview” format where it is two people talking to one another. (I have no fucking idea how this book got top Kids book of the year on Audible, it is more of a YA book... it must been because it was Free and lots of people picked it because the rest of the choices that month were complete garbage)
Micromegas - perhaps one of the oldest examples of Speculative Science Fiction. Written by Voltaire, it is about a giant from another solar system that is so big that humans and life on Earth are microscopic. “what value are the lives of ants to a man?”
The Three Musketeers - i had forgotten how much espionage there was in this book. I would say this is a good companion book to Don Quixote, as it takes its fair share of inspiration from and even name-drops the character a couple times.
Charles Dickens: Oliver Twist / David Copperfield / A Tale of Two Cities - DC is the standout IMO among the three, it is Dickens’ Magnum Opus. Les Mis did a far better job with the Revolution than Tale did as well. I felt rather obligated to reading these books because of the subplot in the Age of Madness books being about Poverty during the Industrial Revolution and Workers Revolts against the Ruling Class.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - the version i listened too made most of the Americans sound like GWB... which is funny because one of them is Canadian, and the Comic Relief character about how boorish Americans are.
Stuck (Free Audio Book) -  it is a neat idea, getting jarred free of time but everybody else isn’t and doesn’t remember. It gets a little heavy for a kids book near the end, edging into YA territory as the character gets older mentally and the people around him age physically.
Phreaks (Free Audio Book) - i knew a lot about Captain Crunch and other phone hackers of the 60′s. There is a subplot of the big radioactive corporation covering up causing cancer to their workers, and the father (voiced by Christian Slater) being in the closet but still homophobic about it.
Silverswift (Free Audio Book) - If you like fairy tales set in modern times, it is worth a look. It is similar to In Calabira in that way. The mom being the nonbeliever and thinking grandma is off her rocker, but the granddaughter knows it in her bones that grandma is telling the truth.
Sleeping Giants - alien mechs from the distant past, once mistaken as the titans and gods form mythology, now being studied and experimented on by the government. This is another “interview style” story telling.
Celtic Mythology: Tales of Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes - there is a lot of names and stories, it is worth prob getting a physical copy of the book to keep things straight and to use as a reference.
How to Defeat a Demon King in Ten Easy Steps - A love letter to The Legend of Zelda’s Ocarina of Time and other RPG games.
Casino Royal: James Bond - the movie was rather faithful, including the part of being tied to a chair. I do wish they kept more of the book’s ending where Bond was ready to retire prior to his secret-spy love interest gets killed.
Aliens: Bug Hunt - a compilation of Alien stores about people landing on various planets and encountering aliens, not always the Xenomorphs we know, but the term “Bug” came synonymous to any dangerous alien lifeforms encountered.
Macbeth: A Novel - retelling the story of Macbeth but in a novel form. If you can’t get past the language of the original play, this would help. It sets it more firmly in historical fiction.
Hannibal: A Novel -  I went ahead and re watched the tv show after finishing the book. I’ve seen the movie a dozen times, and i understand why they changed the ending to the movie. The book is the main one that characterizes Hannibal and the show uses a lot of the plot. Hannibal Rising wasn’t really needed because Hannibal (in this book) does think/talk about what happened to his sister and home, and i can see why Harris didn’t want to write that book either. The audiobook is rather poor quality, they talked too fast in places and i don’t really care for their acting...
The Power of Six - I read I am Number 4 several years back and this one popped up on sale so i nabbed it. I like Neil Kaplan, and i think this one is better than the first one and actually gets into the meat of the story.
Cut and Run: A Light-Hearted Dark Comedy - body parts harvesting.... mmmm.
Calypso - non-Fiction, biography of the author. Talks about his family, his life with his partner, and what he does. Much of it is charming and it is read by the author. this was prior to him loosing his marbles about retail workers and becoming a karen.
Our Harlem: Seven Days of Cooking, Music and Soul at the Red Rooster - the history of Harlem and the Harlem Renaissance. I didn’t mind this podcast so much because i was reading The Diviners during the same time.
Malcolm and Me - another biographical book. one of the free books i got during Feb’ Black History Month.
History of Bourbon (Free Audio Book) - Informative about the liqueur industry in America.
Junkyard Cats: Shining Smith Book 1 - post apocalyptic action science fiction novel. the moment that guy showed up i was “that’s your bf.” and it was so... the plot wasn’t hard to figure out, it’s all about the action and setting.
The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - One of the better Heinlein books. The man can’t write romance and he is rather big on casual polygamy and open marriages. An anarchist-revolution book written by someone that is more on the Libertarian side of the aisle. Mycroft (the computer) comes off as rather antiquated, an AI that runs on a closed server, communicating through the telephone lines and printed paper, makes me wonder what Heinlein would’ve done if he was told about the internet and Deep Fake tech. (the book takes place in like 2075, but written in 1966)
Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World - the production of coffee and it’s prevalence around the world.
The Life and Times of Prince Albert - Exactly what it says on the can. *rimshot*
The Real Sherlock: An Audible Original - a biography of Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle.
The Design of Everyday Things - using psychology to improve the design of systems, products, and the modern business model.  It gives proper terminology for several common design features and how to improve on existing structures.
Bottom of the Barrel.
The Pagan World: Ancient Religions before Christianity. I was hoping there would have been something in there about European Religions, there isn’t, and the book was mostly Greek and Roman life styles and how gods are worshiped. It let me know where the word “auger” came from and why it was used in the Licanius Trilogy.
Life Ever After - disjointed at best. a couple that aren’t good for each other spend the next several hundred years in a crappy relationship.
Beyond Strange Lands: An Audible Original - The audio was complete crap on half of the voices. Which is bad because this could’ve been better. It is a Pod Cast Show and the director couldn’t make sure everybody had decent recording equipment and the sound effects often drown out the actors.
Henrietta & Eleanor: A Retelling of Jekyll and Hyde: An Audible Original Drama - They were going for a modern telling, but the language used is archaic. They speak like Dickens characters even though they talk about cellphones and computers.
A Crazy Inheritance: The Ghostsitter book 1 - The concept is there, but it is too nerfed. It was made for the 8-12yo crowd in mind by people that don’t know how to write for children.
Tell Me Lies (Free Audio Book) - It really wants to be smart. Who’s playing who and who is the actual villain of this story? If you want a quick “who done it?” maybe look into it.
Evil Eye (Free on Audible Plus) - told through phone calls between a mother and daughter. The whole genera of evil boyfriends/husbands isn’t really my cup of tea, and the boyfriend’s actor was too fake and the set up to the meat of the story was annoying.
The Half-life of Marie Curie - I didn’t mind learning stuff about Marie Curie... falls squarely in “made for TV lifetime movie” quality though. You should not carry around a vile of uranium where ever you go.
Alone with the Stars - A girl in Florida hears the call for help from Amelia Earhart, but nobody listens to her. Part fiction, part biographical. It would’ve been better as a biography and talking about various conspiracy theories about what happened to her and finding the pieces of the airplane.
Beezer - The son of the Devil learning to become a good person with a found family... however, most of the characters are annoying.
The Year of Magical Thinking (Free Audio Book) - very heavy on the subjects about loss and death.
Complete Garbage.
The Getaway (Free Audio Book) - A man being a POS by stalking and abducting women. It broadcasts just about everything that is going to happen.
Agent 355 (Free Audio Book)  - Do you like “American Mythology?” Like the whole “the founders are the greatest people in the world” kind of vibe? I don’t. I also hate the main character for being one of those “i’m smart, because i read books that women aren’t supposed to” girls when she doesn’t really think for herself at all.

Prompt: What would you/your character’s life be like if you were always hungry? Alternatively, if you were never hungry?
The day that I died I lost all need for food.
Well, to say that I died is a bit dramatic; a half-truth really.  I’m pretty sure that I died and I’m pretty sure that I came back.  The details of how that occurred would have been important months ago, but not anymore. Now I am consumed by the frustration and the curiosity why I can’t eat anymore.
At first, I wondered at what I could have come back as.  I didn’t see any aging (I even took pictures every month for a year to watch for any changes), so I thought maybe I’d become a vampire, except I never developed a desire to drink blood.  Then I thought, maybe I was a ghost or ghoul or something along those lines, but that theory was shot in the foot when I realized that everyone could still see and touch me, so that couldn’t be right.  What other paranormal things are out there that I could be?  A banshee?  No, I don’t have any premonitions of people’s deaths.  A zombie?  Never wanted brains, still, don’t.  A werewolf? It’s been so many full moons and I haven’t ever gone through any changes like that.  The list goes on and on: A litch? No. A fairy?  Nope.  A Djinn? Nuh-huh.
Eventually, I stopped asking those questions because not only was it getting me nowhere, but it didn’t bother me anymore.  What bothered me (and still does to this day) is that despite decades of eating (and truly enjoying) food, now I have no need.  I can’t even taste the stuff!
What seems even stranger is that there are no consequences for going without.  If I go months without eating, there is no change.  Not to my weight, not to my overall functions and capabilities.  It’s as if I am frozen in time!  I have never heard of anything so strange!
Perhaps I’ve been cursed. Who can really say at this point? Maybe when I was stretched out on that table in the hospital, someone hexed me to live this half-life.
Oh well.  For a while I made myself focus on the good sides of this change.  You would not believe the money that I save from not having to buy food on a regular basis. I have a nicer home and a great car, and I travel all over the world on a regular basis!  I do have a pang of jealousy whenever I watch someone eat something I used to love, or even worse, enjoy drinks out with friends. That reminds me, I can’t even get drunk!
I’ve tried a few foods from the places that I’ve traveled to, hoping that just the right blend of ingredients will spark something, anything; but the result is always the same: The taste and sensation of ash against my tongue and scalding metal down my throat.
For a while, I debated on whether I should see a doctor about it, but I’m afraid their either lock me up in a nuthouse or stick me in some lab in the middle of nowhere and treat me like some sort of specimen and that just will not do!
Maybe I’ll move past it, maybe when it’s been so long that I no longer remember the taste of food. Something that will be a distant fond memory – like one’s childhood.  All I know is that I must move on with my life….or death….whatever it actually is.

Mantle of Flames summary
As promised! A summary of the story so far.
Enjoy!
The story so far:
Tharizdun was a deity hungry for power who once sought to rule over the astral planes and all the creatures in this. Driven to madness by creatures even more ancient than him they fed into his ideas and convinced him to plant a seed of evil in the astral sea. But even in his madness he knew his fellow gods would turn on him should he do that, so he reached and found an Ally in Tiamat, convincing her to act as a distraction to the other god’s while he took control. In return he promised her power and freedom. So she started a war with Bahumat, one that raged for many years. However none of the other gods were distracted by this so when Tharizdun did make his move they quickly moved against him and sealed him away before helping Bahumat and his strange assortment of many young dragons, the 5 purebreeds of which became famous but many more half breeds were involved, to seal away Tiamat in a slightly less powerful prison (as most of their ability had been spent sealing Tharizdun). Because of how many dragons fell in the war between the dragon gods the previously rare habit of dragons breeding with other species became more popular and countless types of dragons sprang forth.
Which brings us to our story today, thousands of years later on the continent of Obea when our four "heroes" (I use the word VERY loosely) are all kidnapped by the Cult of Lason, a cult of drow led by a drider queen called Haldriia and her general The Storm Sage, with the intent to sacrifice them to Lolth. The group escape the clutches of the cult after a narrow escape from an encounter with said general only to find themselves in the small town of Blackburn helping free a Druid girl from being hung. And next thing they know they're fighting a werewolf, then a displacer beast. Only then do they interrogate a drow named Tazd and get sent to talk to a member of the council of Alamoa named Inari. Inari confides in the group that she already suspected a traitor amongst the council and the group find themselves attending a banquet of the council and picking out Zeanna as the traitor. Only when they follow Zeanna with the help of new ally and quick friend Kyo do they come face to face with the real might of the cult: a young adult green dragon named Sondry. From this moment on the four friends are on the trail of the cult, first rescuing the emperor's daughter from their clutches, thus earning Bao Moonclaw's favor (his high guard Buck is less enthused, but eventually befriends the party as well) before following the trail of an escaped Tazd to an underground fortress right up to one of the captains of the cult Valefar: the Deceiver. Many misadventures are had as the group hone their skills and grow stronger, including an incident where they nearly get Kyofushin executed for being a fiend and finding Tazd has turned to the side of good, before they're called on by Mairon's uncle to help take down a wild dragon he'd raised. However, in the ensuing battle against the young white dragon, Alistair is slain and the group quickly decide to travel to his home town of Blue Harbor to revive him. After succeeding a resurrection ritual with the help of Bane's 3 angels and raising Alistair from the dead the group find themselves back on track, following leads of the cult to a town taken over by none other than Zeanna. But at that same time a split party discovered Alamoa under siege by Sondy and the Storm Sage and they had to make a decision, opting to abandon the town and let Zeanna escape in favor of defending the city. Many fall, including a council member, a friend, and Buck the high guard but most live before the party, along with Canary's brother Denico, set off to chase down and slay Sondry where he rests in the jungle. Only later, when they find Valefar still alive and captured by skyrates, do they realize Buck is in a similar situation: still alive and captured by the cult, and they use the deceiver to find and rescue him. It's not long after that they find themselves once again face to face with the Storm Sage, and through they have Tazd on their side, he has Valefar. And, after a long brutal fight, Valefar and The Storm Sage lie dead, but so does Mairon. Another revival ritual is attempted, this time cast by Mairon's boyfriend and cleric of Corellon Carric Vax, and another resurrection is successful, bringing Mairon not only back to the group, but to the service of Corellon as well. All's not well though as a corruption has been budding in Canary for months now and, at this moment, it starts to take full control, warping her mind impossibly further and making her dangerous. But the group make the decision: face the queen, then cure Canary. So, guided by Tazd's brother Kovu, they head to the underground city of Regalia and confront Queen Haldriia. But, instead of killing her, they heal her. Using a forged rite of remove curse to undo the curse having turned her into a drider and bring her back into the light, ending the cult of Lason for good.
However, when they get back they find Alistair's mate, a powerful witch named Maev waiting for them with Kyo and Inari, and they quickly go into to ritual to cure a suddenly unwilling Canary before they realize: someone has to give up their life to cure her, and Kyo already decided to be that someone. The party take time to recover in their new keep, but can't rest long before a new enemy comes to town. Canary's betrayer ex-fiancé Ryder, who has come for the powerful weapon of a god. And the worst part, he gets it and gets away. Canary decides she's had too much, that her mind isn't in the right place even after having the corruption removed, and decides to step out of the group, leaving her old friend: a blood angel named Jet, to take her place.
But a new threat is on the horizon. Althaea, the party's Druid, has been dying and coming back to life but losing a bit of herself each time. And she's not the only one, a group of people called proxies including a council member named Erabus all owe their lives and their selves to the creatures bringing them back, fallen angels of Tharizdun that have become corrupted beyond recognition calling themselves Vassals, bringing back these people to build up strength to free Tharizdun and Tiamat. But even an adventuring party like Church and State (yes that's what they called themselves) can tell when something is above them, and work on helping their friend in the background while helping others at the same time. First rescuing Neer, the captured half angel brother of skyrate captain Lynn and their gunslinger friend Sam from a cruel enemy captain and slaver named Captain Hunter. Only during the battle Althaea falls, and makes a deal to owe the Vassals in return for temporary power. Then they find themselves solving a murder in the home city of Mairon, relieving her uncle Melkor of the charges to pin it on JewlClaw, one of the leaders of the group following the Vassals called the Linked Society, who also turns out to be a beyond ancient green dragon plotting to free Tiamat, only to have Mairon make a deal with that same dragon in order to be freed of her mother's overprotection. Then they find themselves breaking into the fourth circle of hell, escaping from the prison of the Incendium with a newly freed Kyofushin and freeing another beyond ancient dragon, a black named Yuronoshi in the process of getting a spell scroll to heal him of a feeblemind.
And now we catch up to today, where the party has been tasked by Jet's Angel mother Shadow to take down a Litch in the name of the Raven Queen. They've gathered their allies and have set out after this Litch in the hopes of scaling his tower to success. But Althaea has little left to give the Vassals that bind her. The Linked Society grows stronger every day. And Church and State knows they're climbing to face death.
So who knows where this story will lead them in the next sessions of Mantle of Flames.

Big Dice Energy - Pattern Release!
Big Dice Energy – Pattern Release!
Litch, please. You aren’t out there throwing magic missiles with some piddly little D4s. You show up every day bringing that Half-Orc Barbarian Great Axe, “I would like to Rage” vibe. You woke up and chose violence. You’ve got Big Dice Energy. What a freaking dumpster fire the last month has been. Democracy is crumbling, Gilead is rising, an Adderall shortage has me forced to remember how I…
