The idea? A weekly song-to-go poll to take a lesser-known song along with you as you scroll!

I've had a song stuck in my head for the last three days but unfortunately it's a song that me and my high school band wrote and if there is a recording of it, it is only on the old flip phone of somebody's dad or maybe a digital camera somewhere because outside of practice we performed it once ever. And I don't remember most of the lyrics now.

I love that my dad and I both have habits of naming stuff in Latin

A lot of my playlists are named in Latin just because I think it's a very pretty and direct language for emotions / feelings

My dad's actual album he did a few years back is also named in Latin. We got into a long conversation about the meaning behind the language itself not long ago

It's weird now that I'm older I can actually have these kinds of conversations with him, I was never really into any of this stuff when I was younger and now I'm hounding him with music questions and wish I got more involved as a kid

Lrb but it strikes me as so funny how the antidote to the twitter Stan music culture is just metal culture. Like. Know fuck all about any bands. Oh your favourite artist said a bad word in the year 2014? And now you have to boycott all their music? Ok. This band murdered their front man. And then put their corpse on the cover. Yes I still listen to the album. The murder is what makes it good.
