🎤 what's your wol like? anything you want to gush about? if that's too broad, how about just a little of her backstory? 👀

my wol's name is lis ciel, which means lily sky. her backstory is nonexistent right now, so I'll just share a bit of her development through my current replay (lvl 86 in endwalker)

lis cared deeply about people, so she used to be impulsive when it comes to protecting others.

she has a soft spot for elezen men (but who doesn't honestly) so heavensward was rough for her. after haurchefant died, she tried to distance herself from others. she doesn't want anyone else to get hurt because of her.

when ilberd told her she's just a pawn in everyone else's game, she broke a little bit. he was right - still is - so she distanced herself even more. she feels like the scions just keep her around because she can fight. estinien is the only one who understands her in that sense, so they became a lot closer after he joined them in endwalker.

her backstory isn't fully fleshed out yet, but it'll be full of heartbreak because I'm a sucker for tragedy

imagine knowing that your enemy is going to kill your friends while inhabiting your body, and realizing there's nothing you can do about it. how much anxiety would you have knowing all you can do is crawl to them and hope you're not too late? what would you do if you watched someone else - in your own body - raise a hand against the people you care about most?

Lis (my wol) did not deal with these events well. she's completely traumatized after, and she suffers from depersonalization. she distanced herself from everyone after these events because she's so scared of hurting her friends. she only seeks out the Scions when they need her for something.

but honestly, doesn't that make sense? immediate after she's back in her own body, she's asked to fight. sure, people ask if she's okay, but those are just one-line comments and nothing more. no one really cares.

Lis understands him now, and it hurts. the Scions only see her as a tool and not as a person. so why should she act like one? all they need her for is menial tasks and slaying primals.

don't care much for fanon that portrays lizzy as super duper naive and ciel has to take the burden of never letting her know anything while secretly resenting her for it and she's a little too innocent to ever read the room, but that's just how it is.

like half the reason she's so intriguing is because she's not as innocent as she appears! she has read the room, plenty of times, and makes the conscious choice to ignore it! being considerate to ciel, sure! but out of good intentions or not, she has to bear with the consequences now and that only made her situation ten times worse!

I& am jealous of others trauma. whenever I& see a traumadump online, I& try to remember if something worse has happened to me, make up something worse that hasn't happened to me, or try and make something worse happen. I& have reached out to people willing to kidnap me& so I& could somehow contest others trauma.

I haven’t done theory time in a while. I offer two theories. The first one is crazy, and the second one is more plausible.

#1: You all know how Jude says his happiest time was when he went to the moon, and Ellis was like: TF you saying? Ok, I want to go to.

K, what IF Jude did go to the moon? What is he was from the future (present time), and part of his curse is being sucked back to the past? Think about it. The hourglass pours both ways. Whatever controls his curse, turned the hourglass backwards and sent him back in the past. His soul could’ve been born into current Jude’s body, but he recalls his future life. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ Don’t take that one seriously. It’d be cool to see though.

#2: Jude wasn’t being literal, but perhaps he went to the moon in a dream, or it was a place called the moon. I’ve also thought someone promised to take him to the moon, but broke that promise because they died (basing this off his BD hints), that’s why the moon is a source of bitterness to him (Love Blooms in Darkness SE hints). That or the one precious to him promised him they’ll be watching him from the moon just before he died.

This is just for fun, so just throwing it out there.
