This fucker. this absolute bastard man.

i have so much to say about him that would spoil the story but honestly i dont plan to make it a comic, its just my own silly fanclan ANYWAYS. heres a rundown of his story for u anon <3 tysm for asking abt him so i can ramble on abt my story

so he’s always been a jealous fucker and when his clanmate Sootstripe reveals she’s pregnant, hes furious. not because he liked her, but because he liked her mate, Lionclaw, and thought he was too good for her. to calm his jealousy and such, he has a fling with a kittypet named Bonnabelle, and soon brings a young Cricketkit into camp. nobodys questions him, as their clan has been raised on the belief that any cat is welcome, regardless of origin, and will not be questioned on it

a few moons pass and he’s given one of Sootstripes kits as an apprentice, Darkpaw. and to try and make this shorter, one day he snaps and kills Darkpaw. another apprentice, Creekpaw, witnesses it in a ravenpaw fashion, while hunting. Bumblenose notices her and forces her to be silent about it otherwise he would kill her the same. she, being stubborn as hell, tells her brother Badgerpaw, the medicine cat apprentice, who Bumblenose would assumedly never kill.

nd basically their story is finding some way of getting Bumblenose to be exiled but its proving extremely difficult as the leader, OrchidStar, and Bumblenose are very close, and she trusts him with her own lives

so shortly after Badgerpaw becomes Badgerwillow, he rounds up all the cats he trusts most. his sister Creekpaw, Darkpaws brother Slushpaw, and bumbles son, Cricketleap, and reveals to the other two the truth. Slushpaw immediately trusts the med cats words, while Cricketleap is shocked his father would ever do such a thing, but eventually comes to realize its all too true

so they confront him(minus cricket) aaand suddenly the whole camp is on fire. someone from another clan set their own camp on fire for reasons i might explain another time but it spreads to their clan at that time, so they all have to run and abandon it

while trying to escape, bumblenose, badgerwillow, and cricketleap get stuck in one area and the badger further confronts bumblenose. he attacks badgerwillow, saying he ‘had his reasons to kill darkpaw’, and is about to snap the medicine cats neck when hes thrown off by Cricketleap.(for reference, Bumble is average cat size and Cricketleap is a fucking behemoth. mainecoon size. bumble got launched.)

Cricket yells at his father about how horrible what he did was, begging him to explain why he did it, why did he kill his own clanmate? And at this point, Bumble doesn’t care now, thinking hes about to die and attacks his son, not wanting to go down pathetically. it leads to Bumble getting himself killed by the two, and they escape the flames, telling the clan that Bumblenose hit his head while trying to escape and died that way. hes mourned, but the clan soon comes to realize he is nowhere to be found in starclans realm.

*btw the reason creekpaw and slushpaw still have their apprentice names is due to OrchidStar. she refused to name them after they nearly died trying to fight an alligator all on their own. their reason was they wanted to try and speed their apprenticeship up, buuut they just got very banged up because of it.

Oh one more idea- Parent swap the three’s parents with Hawkfrost x Leafpool!

Hawk and Leaf started to hang around each other more and more as Leaf went over to Riverclan to help Mothwing with her duties. Hawk either wanted to get close to her to help get rid of Firestar, or just was genuinely interested in her. When the three were born, Hawkfrost immediately knew they were his kids and refused to let them grow up without knowing him. He didn’t grow up with a dad- so Hawk is sure he’s kids will. Leaf left Thunderclan to join Riverclan, due to a lot of backlash she received from her pregnancy, and over all is very happy to be with the cat she loves and cares for her children.

Maybe the three has different names? I love the idea that Hollyleaf was named after Tadpole in a way, like Tadoplesplash or Tadoplefur. Not really sure. Definitely got her father’s ambition and looks like him as well. Jay would be called Icestep, Frostfoot, Frozengaze, mostly because he’s blind but he does look a bit cold and unnerving with his glare. Still grumpy, but he’s a warrior not a medicine cat. And Lion would probably be still called Lion, but maybe Lionclaw or Lionstrike. He’s a big gentle lad, but everyone is afraid of him because he does look a lot like Tigerclaw. Tho they should probably worry more about his ambitious sister..

Or I could even ball it even more and replace Dandelion and Juniper with Twig and Violet, thus making the four SkyClan kits. I guess with that maybe the kits were separated across all four Clans maybe. Or two to Thunder and two to Shadow.

Introducing: Humanity's Hope Movieverse! (Or at least, an idea of what it could look like.)

So the Sonic Movie 3 trailer gave us a glimpse of Alyla Browne's portrayal of Maria Robotnik. So I'd figure I'd show you yet another version of the Sonic Magical Girl AU I made, Humanity's Hope. As always here's two links to introduce you to the original AU.

Now, the Movieverse version, as you probably guessed, is a version of the AU based on the live action Sonic movies. Since the Sonic movies differ from the original timeline of the games, I think I'd be fun to imagine how the OG AU would be like in this setting.

So here's my current idea for it:

Similar the OG AU, Maria is on the ARK like normal, until Tikal arrives though a ring portal, the big difference here is that Tikal is still alive in this version rather than a spirit. Maria goes though the portal and ends up on an island in a new world named Mobius.

It's here that Maria would probably meet Lionclaw and young Sonic. And where the Echidna Clan would show her both the Master Emerald and the aincent murial titled "The Magical Angel" it turns out that Maria happens to be the exact person seen on this murial, so they give her the magical wand. (Which is powered by a light blue emerald instead of an emerald shard)

Tikal would then help Gerald in creating Shadow, much like what happens in the normal AU. But she also helped Gerald in creating a cure for Maria as well. Shadow, Tikal, and Lionclaw would then train Maria for "a certain event" that will happen in 50 years.

All was well until mysterious robots appeared out of nowhere and tried to take the Master Emerald. The Owls and Echidnas would try to defend it, but they failed, as a last dich effort, the Owls would hide the Master Emerald in an underwater temple somewhere in Hawaii. Despite of this, the robots would wipe them out, before Lionclaw would meet her end however, she summoned a ring portal back to Earth, and gave Maria her bag of rings, instructing her to protect her planet, and never let the Master Emerald fall into the wrong hands.

What follows is Maria, Tikal, young Sonic, and Shadow being sent to Earth a few years into the future, and similar events of the Sonic movies taking place in the future as well. (With a few differences of course)

And yeah, that's the plot for now.

Of course, another thing I should tell you is that the other Magical Girls and their companions seen in the OG AU will be in this version as well, some of them having their own movie-inspired twists. (Like Sara being from another planet for example)

And just like in the OG AU, Eggette appears in a similar role to Knuckles in Sonic Movie 2 and Shadow in Sonic Movie 3 (With Sage possibly taking Eggman's role in the third movie as well, helping Maria defeat Eggette and all that)

Of course, some of this might change in the future after the third movie releases. But I'm somewhat happy with what I thought up so far.

I said I was gonna post about this au so here we go.

I apologize in advance if it's hard to understand.

So first we have Monkey King who I haven't figured out rather I want to call him MonkeyStar or PeachStar. He's still born from a stone so that's still true and you know something tells me he wasn't born in an area with cats but rather monkeys so he still has his toop, his "clan" area is mainly a lush forest and Rocky areas surrounded near water food isn't hard to find since they mainly just eat fruits and occasionally bugs.

Now when I say Clan I mean just him and his monkey's he doesn't really have a clan since it's just him and his monkey's and there's no reason for a clan if there's no longer danger or threats.

When he became leader he didn't exactly become leader the traditional way by going to the Moonstone he just became leader after jumping through a waterfall, this is cause he didn't know what clans where and didn't learn till his training era(so with master Subodhi).

During his training era he had an existential crisis and went to go become immortal so he wandered till he found this group of cats that where being trained by this much older cat, (side note- this may or may not change depending on what I do but for now the pre- jttw and jttw events will takes place during the same time as the book) Monkey King was given the name sun wukong while training under Subodhi.

Now I might skip the brotherhood era till I make azure and the other 2 members, but during that time he did have what was known as a clan it was small yes but he did have a technical clan.

Now I would like to mention that Starclan is the Celestial realm while Diyu is the Dark forest. Wukongs punishment is the same with being trapped under the mountain but instead of being trapped under neath like he's normally depicted or like how he's show in lmk he's more so chained down, he has chains wrapped around his body he can move around slightly but he's mainly just bound down till Tripitaka comes by and frees him(I'll mention more in a later post.)

Monkey king is currently training/mentoring is first and only apprentice/successor Mk and besides the whole Lbd and LionClaw(Azure), he's doing pretty good, he's not all that trusting to humans so him and mk only hang out on FFM(flowerclan?Monkeyclan?) But he's warming up to them again,only ever hangs with Mo tho.

(Imagine looking out your window to get fresh air and you just see a fucking cat on a cloud)

Mk has kinda the same lore as my main headcannon with him being born from the remains of Monkey kings Rock and Wukong being his father and along with Mac(who doesn't find out till later in both versions).

Now mk is a kittypet meaning he does have a owner and he lives with pigsy and tang, mk was left with pigsy when he was 2 moons old maybe and at the time pigsy was a stray(more on his backstory on a different post) and after getting a kit he panicked and went to the next person he knew to help which was tang who let him stay with him(by convincing his two legs to let them stay).

Mk grew up as an indoor cat that was granted access to go outside and wander around in the neighborhood before coming back, when he was around 7 or 8 moons old he met Mei who had escaped out of her stuffy house to explore and they hit it right off the bat and even after Mei was returned home she would come running back out to meet him and it was such a regular occurrence that both their two legs didn't mind anymore.

Now mk isn't really a noodle delivery boy but I do like to believe he helps out with deliverys with his twolegs restaurant and often tags along for the ride to help deliver noodles, he noticed that during their runs they forgot to deliver to one customer so he quickly grabbed the bag and went running down to a very creepy and abandoned construction site(he doesn't notice tho) to deliver them only to stop when he saw Pif(Ironwind would be a cool name) and Red(Redson? Redfur?) and quickly went in hiding on top of a metal pipe where he saw Monkey King's staff(literally a heavy af pole, probably was a big one before it was shrunken down).

His twolegs where most likely worry during the whole SQ, Dbk,Lbd and Azure take over cause their cats are missing during these other crazy power cats taken over/destroying the world and they where definitely confused when they saw after the Lbd thing that mk had burned scars. I bet after the whole Azure lion thing mk was put on house arrest cause I mean if your cat suddenly starts glowing and being frantic then I don't think you'd be letting them outside.

Macaque is a cool one, first off he is a loner currently keeping away from humans and sleeping in a abandoned dojo. When he was younger he was a pure white cat with stunning red markings that stood out the most(idk if he has six ears or not) of course he glamoured his fur black the moment he got the chance.

During his time with Wukong and the brotherhood he was both the Medicine cat and Deputy(this role might later be taken by Azure) , he was skilled with herbs and always ready to give Wukong some insight or warnings on what he heard tho over time it seemed the great sage was more focused on taken down the celestial realm then actually heeding his various warnings and concerns.

After Wukong was picked up by the monk macaque would of became a spy for what remained of the brotherhood, he followed would spy on the pilgrims and bring insight and speak on what he would witness or hear. He hated this not only was he more treated as a pawn then an equal, but he also had to spy on his king a cat he's grown accustomed to and seeing him bonding but also being tortured by these people it... It hurt him especially when he heard what happened to the brotherhood one day when he was away and yeah getting stabbed with a metal pole wasn't fun.

Getting revived and thrown into modern society was confusing and terrified like first day revived he almost got hit by a car, now while he ignored the Lbd's wishes macaque was determined to find and attack Wukong of course with a plan and a lot of meditation to get back in strength.

He wasn't planning on finding Mk quite the opposite, he was kinda expecting monkey king to show up and defeat his kiaju instead of almost killing pigsy and mk, and when he met mk he was more startled like who the fluff let their kit out in the busy street he could tell the kid was wukongs successor by the obvious staff and a lot of other key features and he decides to use that to his advantage.

Mk at first unlike in the show is more scared of macaque especially the way he's circling him like fresh prey but he decides the go along seeing as his training of breaking a wall wasn't going anywhere. Getting the kids power(mainly just his energy tho) was more easy then he thought he just wasn't expecting Wukong to show up so early.

Currently macaque being the most hostile and aggressive to humans is staying right clear from them and spending most his time in the dojo, sneaking onto FFM uninvited or watching mk from a distance cause something strange is up with that cub.

After almost a decade away from my Warrior Cats phase, I've been relistening to the first arc audiobooks at work, and have fallen back in (uh oh). Get ready for intense cringe, because I am once again mashing my two fixations together and here are what I think each HOA character's warrior name is and which Clan they'd be most suited to:

Nina: She's obviously a ThunderClan cat with that main character syndrome she has, but I feel like she def would have been a housecat first. I feel like her warrior name would be equal parts soft yet fierce. Maybe drawing on the "with this circle of light, I seal the circle of life" chant and also her connection to the Eye of Horus, her warrior name would be something like Falconlight

Fabian: I'm sort of stuck between ThunderClan and SkyClan for him, but since I'm less familiar with the newer books/modern day SkyClan, I'm gonna go with ThunderClan for him too. His warrior name would be pretty unassuming, I think, and others would underestimate him based on it. Maybe Mousewhisker or something?

Patricia: She strikes me as a ShadowClan cat, but I also think she'd be a pretty solid SkyClan cat (she has always been a tree-climber in my heart), but I think at the end of the day I gotta go ShadowClan. She's clever like a fox, so the warrior name I'd give her would probably be something like Foxpounce.

Amber: Amber is an easy one, because she's obviously a RiverClan cat. They're very conscientious of their appearance, and they're known for their grace and elegance. Her name is easy too, since the first half would obviously just remain "Amber". So the name I'd give her is Amberdapple since the cats with the suffix "dapple" always get described as the prettiest.

Alfie: He's obviously a WindClan cat. He's a little speedster, and idk it fits really well. The name I'd probably give him is Bounceclaw, because he'd be such a bouncy kitten, but then once he grew up and got the fierceness and bravery that Alfie gains by the end of the show, they'd give him a name that reflects that.

Jerome: He's also ShadowClan, because they have to be very adaptable to survive. He plays the long game on a lot of his schemes, so maybe a name like Spiderfur ("fur", because he is proud of his hair).

Mara: Also ShadowClan. I think the name Marshfeather fits her. Idk why, it just does. She'd also probably be a medicine cat, not a warrior, but I don't think she'd really believe in StarClan.

Joy: I'm caught between RiverClan and ShadowClan, but I think I'm going to go with RiverClan. Keeping with her actual name I think a nice warrior name for her would be Merrystream

Mick: Mick is a ThunderClan cat for sure. The name Lionclaw fits a strong character like Mick

Eddie: He’s a half-Clan cat for certain. Maybe between ThunderClan and ShadowClan? Maybe a name like Thistlefur would fit him (cuz his hair is so spikey when we first meet him).

KT: She gives me ThunderClan vibes, too. Her warrior name would either be super long, or super short, but I think it would definitely reflect her quiet ferocity: maybe something like Nettleswipe?

Willow: Willow is a WindClan cat, since they're known for being the most spiritual. Her name is also very easy since, like Amber, it fits in the world of the Clans. She would also definitely not be a warrior, she'd be a medicine cat. Willowflight would be a suitable name for her.

BONUS:

Victor: He would obviously be the leader of one of the Clans, probably ShadowClan. Ravenstar (originally Ravenfeather, before he got his nine lives and leader name) would be the obvious name for him.

Mr. Sweet: Easy, he'd be the leader of ThunderClan and his name would be Sweetstar (previously Sweetgoose)

Trudy: She'd be a permanent queen in the ThunderClan nursery and she'd be called Rosewing (because she takes cats under her wing).

Sarah: A former WindClan cat by the name of Softraven.

Rufus: The former ShadowClan deputy by the name of Darkflame.

Vera: A rogue who joins ShadowClan and takes the name Sunstrike.

Caroline: A former rogue, turned ShadowClan cat called Addermist.

Harriet: A WindClan warrior Sleepymoon.

Mrs. Andrews: A RiverClan warrior named Dapplewhisker.

Woahg,, thinking about Lionclaw's experience with apprenticeship affecting his mentorship of Dovepaw, especially since she was one of the three and had extra pressure on her shoulders

it's up to you to break the cycle lion..... but jokes aside this is one of the things I think about a lot in regards to aus. like, lion recognizing his flaws as a mentor when dovewing ever admits to this immense pressure put on her shoulders. The two of them talking it out, and maybe even lion sharing his experience w ashfur- not as excuses, but as a starting point for them to work in a mutual respectful mentor-apprenticeship.
