Hello!! I would like to request a Linzin fic, when tenzin broke up with lin ofc she is mad but then suddenly starts bleeding, thats when they realize she has been pregnant but it was just a cryptic pregnancyy and her losing her period weren't her going into menopause.
The story basically is just Tenzin trying to get her forgiveness, and lin being "Would you be here knealing if I wasn't pregnant?" I want it to hurt ok🥰
Hello! Here is my attempt at a painful cryptic pregnancy Linzin. I hope this is what you were looking for.
It was that damned healer. That waterbending, icy bitch of a woman- who told her that she was done for couldn't have been more wrong. Lin should've gone to Katara. Spirits, she should have seen Kya instead.
Because now there she was, dismembered in a way she never thought her crime-fighting days could land her. Thankfully, every part of her body was still intact. What she was losing now was nothing she was born with.
The bathroom floor was bright red. Her vision kept shifting from black to red and back.
She only allowed herself to give in to the darkness when she felt the door to her house fling open from under her feet. Someone had entered her home. Someone was looking for her. Someone was going to find her. Someone was going to save both of them.
For the first time, Lin felt pain in her body like never before. This hurt far more than breaking a rib or getting stabbed in the thigh. Her emotions were unfathomable. To think she felt grief for something she never knew she had.
Her entire life would've been upside down had she known this whole time.
"What? A cryptic pregnancy...,"
"Will she be- will they both be—"
"Lin didn't know! She couldn't have known!"
"If you would please just let me see her..."
Lin was in an out of consciousness for what felt like days. Really, it had only been a few hours but it felt like a whole lifetime went by. She couldn't work out whose voices they were. It all felt like she had voices inside her head.
Sleep took over once again. This time it was quiet, dark and numb, like in a vacuum.
The first thing Lin realized was that she could feel her eyelids on her eyes. Her hand twitched, reminding herself that her body was whole. She was still very much there. Her toes wiggled in response. Slowly her fingers contracted, and she forced her eyes open.
She saw more red. This time accompanied with yellow.
What was he doing here? Who let him in? Don't people know better? She didn't destroy Air Temple Island for nothing after all, did she? Some destruction her meltdown had caused. That was the only time she lost control of her bending. Her emotions were volcanic- they had consumed her being, soul and body, and exploded all over the Island.
How was Tenzin both the only and the last person she wanted to see?
“Lin!” He cried, almost to himself.
Lin stirred slowly. She suddenly remembered why her body wasn’t moving earlier. Everything hurt.
“Hey, hey slow down,”
He had leapt off his seat to stand beside her, one hand on her shoulder to stay her movements.
“What are you doing here?” She asked through gritted teeth, pushing all the pain to the back of her mind.
“We almost lost you. I couldn’t—”
“As far as you’re concerned, consider me lost.”
“Lin, she’s alive,” he whispered over her. His shaky hands captured her palm and brought it up to kiss her knuckles.
Lin lost her voice too. There was a lump in her throat now. There was no admission needed, a wave of acceptance came over her.
Motherhood.
Tenzin’s kisses were wet on her hand. When her eyes shifted to him, she saw tears rolling down his face.
“Where- where is—” she managed to croak out.
“In the other room,” he replied, gesturing to the left. “The chief healer is there, caring for both of you. The baby is healthy and happy. And she looks just like you. Just as beautiful. She’s got jet black hair and your eyes and-and—”
“Tenzin, stop.”
The airbender gaped at her.
“You don’t get to be a part of this. You don’t get to just walk in here and take what you want. That’s my child.”
“That’s our child.”
“There is no our because there is no us, Tenzin. That’s my child and—”
“And that’s also my child.”
“How do you know she’s yours?”
He was spellbound. The most joyous moment of his life had reduced to a pit in his stomach. But he knew better. She was saying that just to hurt him. When he peered into that child's eyes, he knew she was his.
“Lin, come on. Please don’t say that.”
But she continued to glare daggers at him.
Just then, hearing the voices, the very chief healer entered the room. She was an old woman, one of the few who were trained by Katara personally. Where was she when she stopped bleeding all those months go? “Oh, look. Mom is awake.”
Lin offered her a weak smile.
“Your little girl is a fighter,” she said, walking over to Lin's bed. “She's a stubborn one- the girl was determined to live.”
Lin audibly masked a sniffle, but Tenzin caught it.
“She gets that from her mother,” he said with a smile.
“Oh, we’re well aware. Captain Beifong, you fought through too. Valiantly, so. If it were up to me, this ordeal alone should make you Chief.”
“Can I see my baby?” Lin asked.
The woman nodded happily, pushing Lin's hair behind her ear affectionately before stepping out of the room.
They swiftly turned to look at each other. “I’m sorry, Lin. I’m so sorry.”
Lin bit back tears by biting her cheek.
“You don’t- you don’t get to…” she whispered, shaking her head in denial.
“We can work this out. We never should’ve ended things.”
“You’re not even in love with me…” Her voice was hoarse.
“Lin, I’m crazy about you. You and only you. And now that mini-you you just brought into this world.”
“What about your soulmate?”
Tenzin slapped his forehead. “The acolyte? She’s so far driven from reality, she wouldn’t know a soul from a chair.”
Lin almost let herself chuckle with relief. But she didn't. She couldn't just laugh off the thing that Tenzin allowed to weaponize against their relationship.
“No,” she said. “No, you can’t- I’m vulnerable right now. You can’t snake your way back into my life. If it wasn’t for my pregnancy- if it wasn’t for nearly losing your child, you wouldn’t have even been here. You would be with your soulless chair mate on your cold, lifeless Island. You’re dead to me, Tenzin.”
“Lin, of course, I would. I would always be there for you. Please—”
“You value your legacy far more than you’ve ever loved me. I kept putting your first and you kept making me fight for footnotes in your life.”
“That is not true!”
“Oh, but it is!”
“Lin, I have always been in love with you. I can't remember a time in my life when I haven't loved you, truly.”
“Then why would you leave me for her? Why when I had just found out that I couldn't bear you the airbenders you so wanted. The unborn children you put before me, a whole person you claim to be so in love with.”
“I was wrong. I was so very wrong," he cried, head in his hands. "I didn't know you couldn't have children. You pushed me into Pema's arms—”
“Don't you utter her name!”
Tenzin sighed. “You told me to be with her. That she would give me my airbenders. I only did that to free you from my burdens. You didn't deserve to—”
The door creaked open again, the same healer returning with their child in her arms. The two of them fell silent immediately.
“Here, Lin. Do you want to hold her?” The healer asked.
Lin’s sniffle was enough of a response.
As she cradled her arms- as best as she knew anyway- the healer slowly placed the baby in her mother's embrace. She was so little- so much smaller than Lin imagined. She could no longer hold back her tears.
She felt Tenzin’s hand on her shoulder.
“She’s perfect,” he whispered.
“She is,” Lin replied, feeling placated like never before. She eased up. Her mind was no longer clouded- clarity had taken over. “I can’t believe we created that.”
“I can,” he replied, kissing her head.
“Don’t make me ask you to leave,” she said, curtly.
“I’m never leaving, Lin.”
She huffed, side eyeing him as she prepared herself for what she was about to say. She felt certain about her decision.
“You’re leaving, Tenzin. I will allow you to be a part of my daughter’s life so long as you vow to stay out of mine.”
Tenzin watched her, heart beating faster in his chest, as she glared at him with storms in her eyes. He didn’t have the words to respond.
“You stay on your Island and I stay in my city. We only have our exchanges on the ferry. I will not step foot onto Air Temple Island and if you so much as even breathe Republic City’s air, I will arrest you and have you sent to the Dai Li’s prison in Ba Sing Se.”
“Lin, that can’t be sustainable—”
“I don’t care what you think.”
Lin pressed her baby into her bosom. Nothing mattered anymore. Her entire life would be dedicated to protecting this baby.
Tenzin would do the same, she trusted him that much. He would be a good father to her. She would have to find a way to be okay with that acolyte being a part of her daughter's life. But perhaps, that would happen with time.
“I love you. And I respect your wishes. But can you grant me just this one thing?”
“What is it?”
“Can we have one moment? Just a single moment where we, as her parents, hold her together with love. If I am to leave you alone, I just need a glimpse of what might’ve been to keep me going.”
Lin sighed.
“Let’s- let’s name her,” he suggested, realizing that he was babbling. “Together. Right now. That’s all.”
“Sure,” she gave out a low huff of defeat.
Lin shifted on the bed as Tenzin took a seat beside her. He placed one hand under Lin’s, supporting their daughter’s head while his other arm ran around her waist. He squeezed her into his embrace and as much as she wanted to fight it, she gave in and rested her head against his chest. It felt right. As if the entire universe conspired to allow her just this one moment. Even if it wasn't made to last.
“How do you like the name Dalha?”
Lin scrunched her nose in disgust. She kissed her daughter’s head, making her coo in a way that made Lin’s heart flutter.
“What about Meng?”
“No,” Lin replied with a gasp. A yawn escaped her mouth urging Tenzin to pull her tighter.
“Jin?”
Lin gave her baby a cheeky a smile and said, “Don’t worry, kid. I won’t let your daddy name you anything as unsavory like that.”
“Well, daddy is trying. Mommy hasn’t made a single contribution.”
Lin huffed. “How about Lila?”
“I love that name. Lila Beifong. We could call her Lili too!” Tenzin glanced over at Lin only to find her looking straight at him. There was a softness in her eyes. He cupped her face with one hand and drew her in. His lips slowly met hers. It had been far too long since he had kissed her. Lin melted against his touch- she was exhausted. She just needed to be held, to feel loved- if only for a moment.
Tenzin continued kissing her, smiling, making the most of the moment with the mother of his child- the only woman he wanted to kiss for the rest of his life.
When they pulled apart, Lin passed Lila on to Tenzin to hold. He delicately held her as Lin wiped her dried up tears with her palms.
“Say your goodbyes.”
Tenzin bit his bottom lip. “Thanks.” He admired his daughter, he couldn’t help but smile. A joy so unfathomable, he couldn't wrap his head around the grief that was yet to set in. “I love you so much,” he whispered to Lila. “You’re my world, Lili. You and your mother, you're my earth, my air, my everything.” He kissed the top of Lila's head before handing her back to Lin.
He stood up, and knowing she wouldn’t stop him, he planted a kiss on Lin’s forehead one last time. “I love you. And I always will.”
“I'll be sure to thank Saikhan for letting you know of my whereabouts. If it weren't for him, you never would've found us."
"Lin, I would've found you with or without my intel. Who, by the way, wasn't Saikhan."
"Who was it then?" she asked.
Tenzin chanced another kiss to her cheek and replied. "I'll save that story for the ferry when I pick Lila up next week."
“Fine,” she said softly, but there was a hint of a smile in her voice.
Tenzin beamed, making his way over to the door. “I’m going to win you back, Beifong. Just you wait. I look forward to those thirty minutes on Yue Bay.”
Before Lin could conjure up the metal tray beside her into mini spheres to throw in his direction, the airbender was gone.

Now we need to see the weekend personal assistant Lin 🥳
Also: mile high club linzin (I’m sorry oogi)
At some point I will get to personal assistant Lin, but the mile high club Linzin was brewing in my mind for awhile 🥰
At the end of the affair rumor event, Lin and Tenzin take a night flight on Oogi. Mei and Jin are sleeping with their grandparents' bedroom for the night (Aang suggested it since the kids were sneaking into Linzin's room for some time). The night is perfect, clear skies, gentle breezes, and the crescent moon lighting the night.
Lin massages Tenzin's shoulder lightly and whispers in his ear, "Come join me."
Well, Oogi can fly steadily without him at the reins. They're not super high either to trigger Lin's nausea and motion sickness.
Tenzin climbs in the back of the saddle with Lin as she lays down, a hand cradling her bump. He lays beside her, pulling her toward as much as he can with the bump creating a bit of distance. Lin kicks open a heavy blanket that she brought for the flight and covers their legs.
Kissing the tip of her nose, Tenzin slides his hand over her waist. "You okay?"
"Hmm," Lin hums, sliding her leg in between his.
"Tell me when you want to go back," he murmurs, drawing circles with his thumb.
Lin strokes his chest, snaking a hand upward to his neck. "I'm not in a rush."
"Oh?" His voice shifts and his own hands gloss over her waist and tease the buttons of her shirt. Deft fingers expertly unbutton them, Lin's soft skin his reward. He quickly finds her growing breasts and grasps it gently, savoring the low moan melting close to his lips. Tenzin captures her in a firm kiss, slow yet deep and loving.
His wife shimmies her shoulder to slide the linen cloth down her arm. Lin doesn't lay there idle, as she works at his buttons and pressing her palms against the endless warmth of his body. She arches into his touch as he flickers his fingers around her nipples and pinches gently.
"Here?" Her voice is high and breathless. She's already unravelling to his love and desire at a faster rate with pregnancy.
Tenzin pushes her onto her back, holding his weight carefully above her. "Why not?" Soft kisses rain on her collarbone and trickle down to the valley of LIn's breasts. "We made these babies on an airship...why not here?"
Before Lin can answer, his mouth is already sucking hard on her breasts and she releases a muffled moan into the night sky. The heat of his tongue swirling around her nipples is creating ripples of arousal to intensify within her. Tenzin bunches up the bottom of her sleeping dress to her hips and dips his fingers inside, drawing out more delicious gasps from Lin.
He smirks against her, switching over to her neglected breast. Of course Lin is already soaking wet. As soon as he pushed aside her panties, he could feel the drenched fabric and he considered ripping them off and throwing it over. Every addicting moan and echo of pleasure from Lin sent blood rushing to his dick. Pulling away and sitting on the back of his heels, the blanket falls behind him and he grabs both of her breasts and massages them.
He's seen her body beneath sunlight beams, and now her body is glowing with pregnancy and Yue's moonlight. The shadows and silver light cascading over Lin's beautiful and flawless body is enough to make him think she's a goddess herself.
"I want to see you, too..." Lin urges, pushing her knee against his erection.
He pushes down his pants and leaves them bunched at his ankles. Tenzin strokes the head of himself over Lin, coating her juices on his shaft. Lin spreads her legs and pushes her panties aside, and Tenzin slides in effortlessly.
Both moan in unison at the familiar sensation of this union. Tenzin places his hands on the bump, slowly thrusting in and out into Lin before sliding them up to cup her breasts. Then he bows over her, the bump pushing lightly against his body.
Lin wraps her arms around his neck, pulling him down for more kisses. "i can be on top if it's too uncomfortable," she suggests in between kisses.
"No." He spreads her legs wider. "You just need to enjoy it."
Thankfully, she doesn't argue with him and Tenzin changes his angle, thrusting more upward and Lin covers her mouth to catch the scream. Tenzin uncovers her mouth.
"I want to hear you, love."
His speed increases and Lin feels bliss building up and preparing to crest over her body.
"Tenz..." she gasps, closing her eyes. "I think...ah! I think I'll make a mess..."
"Then make a mess," he whispers.
He lifts her hips and goes harder from that special angle.
Every ounce of Lin's control disappears and the last thing she sees is the moonlight and white flashes in her eyes. She can feel waves of her orgasm flowing through her and in between her legs.
It takes a moment for her to recover and gain clarity before she realizes that Tenzin looks a bit soaked and it's very wet where their bodies are colliding.
"Tenz, did I...?"
"Shh, it's my turn." He holds her hands above her head and buries his face into her neck. His teeth bite down on her skin and growls vibrate over her pulse as he pounds into her intensely. Then he pushes one last time, hard and Lin feels him twitching inside of her as every drop of him floods her.
Their hearts hammer in unison as their desire quickly dissolves and melts into their bones. Tenzin slides off to Lin's side and slips out of her. He pulls the blanket over them to ward off the night chill. Lin cuddles close to Tenzin, resting her ear against his chest and drowning in the calming sound of his heart.
"You're all wet..."
"Yes. We'll change when we get home. You were so breathtakingly gorgeous."
"It was so embarrassing!"
"Come now, there's nothing embarrassing about it."
"It is! It's like peeing on you!"
"But it's not. I read about it."
"Where?"
Tenzin coughs. "In some book."
"Why would you need a book when everything you need to learn is from me?"
"Knowledge is power."
"Can you show me this book?"
"Maybe."
Lin frowns and slides her panties off, the cool and wet sensation making her skin crawl. Then she feels her husband snatch them away.
"Give those back."
He shook his head. "My souvenir for tonight."
Suddenly, she gasps.
Tenzin's eyes flicker with concern.
"What is it? Is something wrong?"
Lin grabs his hand and guides it over the bulge of her stomach. "I think I can feel them."
Tenzin hones in intently, waiting patiently for movement to graze his palm. But nothing comes. Lin peers up at him with hope.
"Did you feel that?"
His face softens. "Not really..."
Lin purses her lips. "Well, I feel like they're moving all crazy in there because you woke them up."
"I don't see you complaining," Tenzin points out, pulling the blanket securely over them.
"I'm going to now because I won't be able to sleep with them playing around. If only you kept it in your pants."
Tenzin rolled his eyes and closed them, shaking his head. "I'm too tired to argue."

I constantly think about Linzin's secret baby, don't blame me
I think all his brothers (yes, they would still exist) would see him as a hero, he's funny and intelligent - at first they don't really understand why their mother isn't also Brísa's mother
It would be cute for them to call Lin a hero later too
Pema doesn't like him and Brísa doesn't give a damn about her, her obsession with this whole soulmate thing sees him as an obstacle
she never did anything (despite wanting him to disappear) but Lin always made it clear what Brísa should or shouldn't accept when she was alone in the air temple
tenzin is complicated

I was deep in linzin trenches rn, my babiesss I just love their dynamic together, they're the power couple we were robbed of. I don't hate pema per say, I just think her character lacks the complexity that lin or tenzin have.
Also, the way she told korra to pursue and insert herself into someone else relationship just because she believes she's the right one for her 'soulmate' rubbed me so wrong, mam? please?
and after all these years she still so bitter about lin, and so fuckn rude to her when all lin does is protect her and her high-sugar kids. mam are u still jealous? or do you still think tenzin will be back with lin?.
I feel so bad for her that the writer only give her personality as a mother and tenzin's wife, nothing more. I think, as the madam of the island we should see her being someone in charge of the daily operation of the island itself, like maybe have some scene in the background of her and another acylotes discussing or meditating. Her presence for me is just as a baby maker and if that was it is I fuckin will not forgive the writer to do her so dirty.

Imagine Tenzin, consumed by grief after Lin's passing, deciding to follow her into the afterlife.
After reading the bittersweet fanfic "Meant To Be" by @risingsoleil (check her ao3 page if you are a linzin fan. She's an amazing writer. I love her works!), an idea came to me: what if Tenzin journeyed through the 9 circles of Hell before reuniting with Lin in Paradise? Drawing from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, specifically Dante's Inferno, Tenzin would confront his deepest fears and regrets in each circle, leading to a powerful and emotional reunion with Lin in the afterlife.
So here's Tenzin:
(Sorry about the arrow, I just added that detail because Picrew doesn't have that option.)
I chose a red arrow instead of blue to symbolize that he took his own life, which is why he's in Hell (all life is sacred). I dressed him in a red robe and added a golden choker. Finally, he has an earring with Lin's eye color, given to him by his guide.
His guide, Iroh:
In this story, He is Tenzin's Virgil, guiding him through the 9 circles of Hell. Lin asks Iroh to help Tenzin on his journey and gives him the earring that Tenzin wears. It's a symbol of Lin's presence with him throughout the journey.
Lastly, Lin:
(Can I just say she looks so pretty, I also added the scars)
Tenzin's Beatrice is waiting for him in Paradise. he’s also wearing an earring with Tenzin’s eye color, showing that she’s waiting for him on the other side.
( Picrew link male | female )
9 Circles of Hell:
The First Circle: Limbo
He comes across an unborn child and learns that Lin had a miscarriage after they broke up. He then sees a vision of what their life might have been if the child had lived. When he snaps out of this illusion, he finds himself holding a deformed baby.
The Second Circle: Lust
He reflects on his own desires and the complicated nature of his love for Lin. Temptations hit hard with visions of women pampering him, including an illusion of Pema. Just as he's about to give in, he sees Lin watching him, which snaps him back to his true goal: to be with her.
The Third Circle: Gluttony
He witnesses wealthy high-ranking figures, some from the Earth Kingdom, being devoured by beasts. They endlessly heal and suffer, showing the impact of their excessive wealth on others. This makes him rethink his own lifestyle.
The Fourth Circle: Greed
He sees greedy souls, including mercenaries and assassins like the combustion bender who hunted his parents, being crushed by boulders of gold. This makes him reflect on his own struggles—not for money, but the selfishness that came from the pressure to repopulate the Air Nation after his father’s death.
The Fifth Circle: Wrath
He encounters fallen soldiers from endless wars, especially Fire Nation armies from the Hundred Year War, stuck in muddy rivers that act like quicksand. This scene stirs up memories of the conflicts he and Lin faced before their breakup.
The Sixth Circle: Heresy
He sees people consumed by evil spirits. Unalaq is burning in a fiery tomb as punishment for his dark deeds. It makes him think about whether his own followers, who idolize airbenders, might end up suffering the same way.
The Seventh Circle: Violence
He sees the spirits of Fire Nation leaders who committed violence against innocents. One of them is the person who killed his grandmother. He realizes he belongs in this circle too, as he committed violence by taking his own life.
The Eighth Circle: Fraud
He sees scammers, manipulators, and impostors who deceive others for their gain. Hama, the first bloodbender, pretends to be a helpless old woman to trick people like Katara into helping her get revenge. He also sees an illusion of himself saying he's a fraud, struggling to be himself while trying to meet others’ expectations.
The Ninth Circle: Treachery
Finally, he sees betrayers, including Firelord Sozin and Ozai, frozen in icy pits. One of them accuses him, saying, “You also betrayed Lin—remember, you cheated!” The crowd roars, but as he’s overwhelmed by darkness, the earring starts to glow. Iroh steps in to guide him to the exit.
Reaching Paradise:
After everything that happened, Lin hugged him tightly. They stood there for a moment, just holding each other, overwhelmed by the joy of being reunited. Their smiles said it all—despite the pain and challenges, they were together again, and that made everything worthwhile.
"I died," Lin said quietly. "And you weren’t there."
"I know," he replied, looking down. "I heard from Akna about your last words..."
"Shhh," Lin cut him off gently, her voice softening. "No need to dwell on that."
"But I came here," he said earnestly, his eyes meeting hers.
"You came to find me," Lin said, her eyes shining with happiness.
"Of course I did," he said with a tender smile. "I couldn’t do anything else."
Then Lin gave him a bit of a lecture about his actions.

Am I the only one who isn't convinced all the Gaangs kids would be so close. the age gaps alone will make having interests difficult.
add in jealousy and different temperaments and the fact they all are children of important people and live in different nations?
Like I can see Kya and bumi and Izumi bullying Linzin and the pair getting closer due to it.
Linzin excluding Su and making her upset. Su gets on the older kids' last nerves at family functions and possibly is a little manipulative brat because she's baby.
while they stick with the people they like and fights break out and the adults are like those silly kids, they love each other but they don't want to hear about the war anymore or that Tenzin did this and Izumi mastered this blah blah.

What made you like Pema? :3 Just out of curiosity, I feel like she's a character many people tend to kind of ignore or dislike.
Short answer: Spite
(Very) Long answer:
Tenzin was my first love and obsession when I got back into LOK. I went to AO3 to read about him and his wife! and found the attitudes towards Pemzin... odd? The ship is way less popular than Linzin, which was strange to me at the time, considering Pema/Tenzin are literally married in canon. But hey, whatever, to each their own. Maybe people just like Linzin more. Lin is a sexy badass, so I get it. Maybe people don't wanna write about the air babies. Maybe the age gap or any other countless things were giving people the ick about pemzin. Fine. It's all good to me. I began to look for pemzin fics to enjoy and found 🥲 strange things.
Pema was usually written as some kind of man-stealing demon with a magic coochie that could make Tenzin bend to her will and stay with her despite the fact that he loved Lin more, but at the same time she was a dumb and useless broodmare? More often than not, the Pema/Tenzin fics seemed to be written by people who didn't actually care for the ship and had Linzin endgame in mind.
I thought, "Okay, I'll check out Linzin, surely with way more fics to pick from, I'll find something that focuses on Lin/Tenzin and not Bad and Evil Pema."
I was disappointed to say the least.
So much cheating and lying, so many secret babies. SO MUCH Pema v. Lin, which doesn't do anything for me. I could understand it if there were Actual Reasons, but it was like Pema was showing up to be an emotional homewrecker despite her being IN HER OWN HOUSE. I just... like what the fuck is going on there?
Why does Pema hate Lin SO MUCH? Did the stories ever touch upon that? No. She just hates Lin. Obviously. Lin dated her husband 20 years ago, so she hates her. Logical. Much logic. No explanation. Look no further. Your bad guy is here. Bye-bye interesting concepts. Pema is a bitch and a snake and a man-trap and she never loved Tenzin anyway. She just wanted to be a trophy wife who ushered in a new generation of airbenders. No explanation. Don't question it. She's one-dimensional in a 3D world.
Pema is everyone's favorite bad guy in Linzin fics all because of that one line from Book one that is honestly super fucking cringe about her "seeing her soul mate with someone else." Linzin shippers asked if anyone was going to demonize this mother of four and didn't wait for an answer.
Both Pemzin and Linzin shippers need to learn how to tag their fics for both "emotional cheating" and just straight up "cheating." Navigating this shit is terrible. I once read 50k of a very interesting concept, and then all of a sudden Pema came out of nowhere and just started acting like a jealous 13 year old for no reason and Tenzin QUICKLY left her and the kids to go be with Lin. Like?? I do not understand what the fuck is going on in some people's minds.
WHERE WERE THE FICS THAT PAINTED PEMA AS A WHOLE HUMAN PERSON WITH FLAWS AND WANTS AND DESIRES??? I think most of my comments started having "thank you for writing Pema like a person" somewhere in them.
When I first made this blog and Let It Be Known that I ship pemzin, I got a looooooot of weird anons asking me stuff about like, if I support cheating and shit? I realized that these attitudes towards Pema were not Old Beliefs. These were very real people in the year of 2024 still unable to conceptualize an interesting idea for a character that has SO MUCH room to play with.
We know jack shit about her. We know just enough that makes her entire character like candy to me. She's not around a lot in the show, but also somehow is always still right there? She goes through Some Very Real Shit in every season, and her absence from screen time is like free real estate to fic writers. I literally don't understand how so many people manage to summarize her entire being into the word "snake" and move on. The potential for expanding on her character is limitless because of how little we know. The more people try to stuff her into a box, the more I'll pull her out of it.
I didn't really care about Pema until it became clear that everyone else disliked her. The more people hate her, the more I love her and the more powerful I become.
I'm like this because of how the fandom treats her.

Take it to the beach
Go on and pull me under with you
Say It
the shape of iridescence
From your WIP folder baby gal :)
Thanks, boo 💕
Take it to the beach is answered here
Shape of iridescence is here
I wrote Go on and pull me under with you for Yangvik week's prompt was "Literal Sleeping Together." It's several instances of Yangchen and Kavik doing so as they grow from friends to lovers
Scooping her robes so as they would not bunch around her knees and ankles, Yangchen cautiously knelt down facing the gravestone. With a flick of her pointer finger, two small flames ignited the incense for delicate smoke eventually swirling up to the skies.
Hands pressed together in a quiet prayer, Yangchen let her eyes fall shut for a minute. Lips rapidly moved in a pattern Kavik couldn’t pick up from a far. He didn’t try to, in any case. It wasn’t his place to do so.
After a long minute of silence, Yangchen’s eyes opened and she smiled kindly at the grave ahead of her. “Hi, Jetsun. I’m back.”
Say It is a fic of Linzin kinda sorta getting together after an initial failed LDR. The two of them dancing around them being older now, being a little different than before, and also being in the same area now. Rediscovering each other and seeing what their feelings are and if they want to make it work
[no snippet bc I suck and writing's hard]

Teen pregnancy Linzin.
Peoples reactions.
oh my goodness anon you are cooking !
Lin is not taking it well lol. Toph is 🫤. Katara is full yay a grand baby, but also Lin honey are you okay ? Bumi is excited to be an uncle, Kya is excited to be an Aunt. Su is probably excited to be an aunt but also rude to Lin. Lin’s grandparents though ? they’re freaking the fuck out. “You’re dragging the Beifong name through the mud,” etc. Tenzin is worried af. He’s already so anxious. I think Aang takes it well.
Thinking back I guess I did write teenage pregnancy Linzin where she got ahem pregnant at nineteen and Lin’s reaction was to hide it from her family.
I would love to read a fic or some fics with this premise.

Gossip reporter here, how do you feel about Linzin babies. How many would they have and who would they look like? The pressing question being, do they have a favourite parent.
I think they would have 2-3 kids though I like the idea of a surprise fourth baby. The other questions I will answer in the context of my Harmony AU since that’s the most I’ve thought out their kids
In terms of looks, Hakoda looks more like Sokka than either of his parents thought he inherited his mother’s eye colour. Aditi is almost a carbon copy of Lin with the exception of her being about half a foot shorter and having her father eyes. Jinora probably comes the closest to looking a bit like both of her parents with Lin’s jawline and eyes along with Tenzin’s smile, ears and nose. She is also the tallest of her siblings. Kazu is simply Tenzin. A few messy journalists tried to pass him off as a jacket following the firebending saga but didn’t get far when no one could tell the difference between a five year old Tenzin and five year old Kazu. Eventually when he gets older the only thing that’s different is that Kazu keeps his hair.
Favourite parent?
Hakoda wouldn’t admit it but, he has a preference for his dad .
Lin is Aditi’s favourite no questions asked.
Jinora is the child that comes the closest to not having a favourite.
Kazu’s favourite is his mom
All in all, the kids love their parents and will fight anybody who crosses either.
Bonus since I enjoy this AU. Personalities the most align with.
Hakoda is a mix of his mother and father depending on the situation
Aditi is Lin with Aang’s sense of adventure
Jinora is more like her father and Aunt Kya.
Kazu is Toph, Suyin and Bumi rolled into one though Aang’s understanding and sweetness occasionally make an appearance.

Linzin reaction to having a child who was born blind?
After having 4 princesses, Linzin finally has a boy
But he's born blind
Lin doesn't love him any less because he's her baby, but she wishes she could do something about it. There's nothing wrong with her child being blind and having a great life because her mom showed her that. But Lin has this guilt and helplessness in a way
I feel like she'd hold him even more closely compared because he's blind and her only baby boy. Not coddling, but just very protective of him
Tenzin is nervous how they will adjust and be able to make changes around the house. Also, the girls will need to learn with these adjustments so that no one gets hurt.
Overall, Linzin is happy that their son is still healthy and has entered their lives.
He makes life brighter, alongside his sisters.
Linzin probably consults Toph a lot on things to do, not do, etc. Lin has a pretty good idea, but still feels there's lots to learn especially since he's a baby. He's not grown yet, so they don't have a system in place
Once he grows up, everything is perfectly fine

I noticed several spelling errors in the last headcanons, sorry, my English is horrible
more of linzin with her secret baby because i love them
it happened when Brísa was 3 or 4 years old, Lin needed to work so she left him in what was supposed to be a makeshift daycare center, it wasn't the best but it worked
When she went to look for her little boy, he asked her a question that tormented her throughout her life.
"Mommy, do I have a daddy?" it was like stepping into a time machine and being his age and questioning your own mother about your father's whereabouts, how Toph would just deflect the question or ignore it until a change of subject and now her son was in the same situation.
It took a long time for his voice to come out of his throat.
"Yes, Bri. You have a daddy!" The boy's blue eyes - identical to his father's - shone with emotion at the news.
"REALLY? WHERE IS HE? IS HE GOING TO COME SEE ME? DOES HE LIKE ME?" Lin's head went numb with the number of questions his son could ask in a minute but one answer persisted...
"Oh dear, he would love you with all his might!"

What if Tenzin was a non bender, you think he and Lin might've sticked together? I hate to ask cause Tenzin x Pema is just pure and utter love 👌✨
//I love my Pemzin <333 T-T, but also ahhhhhfjlaksdh I'm so torn.
In my Pemzin biased head I'm finding reasons why he would still end up with Pema. Like, he may not be an Airbender and may not share that bond with Aang. But I like to think he's still passionate about the culture and would become an acolyte and still be on the city council and still want to have babies in hope of them being Airbenders, etc.
But even if that wasn't the case, I tend to think, while the Linzin conflicts created by Tenzin's canon situation may not be there, there would still be conflicts. Every couple faces conflicts at some point. And it's how Tenzin and Lin would face those conflicts as a couple that makes me question if Linzin would work or not. Bc they obviously didn't do a good job handling the conflicts given to them in canon.
But! I also see an argument for Linzin working out.
It would be tough to get through the hardships, but maybe Tenzin would be able to devote more to the relationship and support Lin the way she needs. But would Lin be able to support Tenzin in the way he needs? My boy is needy.

For the ask game
Why don't you ever write Linzin babies?
I think with the discourse in the fandom lately, I kinda saw this coming🥸. I have nothing against Linzin babies or Linzin.
I just don't like babies. And I don't want to have to write that googoogaagaa stuff. So I leave that part alone.
Get to know the blogger!
